I found 100% wool fabric, faux sheepskin fabric, faux tooled leather and a silky lining fabric at my thrift store for just under $5 (shout out St. Vincent de Paul ☺️). The wool fabric was about 1.5 yards, so I went with a cropped design. I Frankensteined McCalls M7729 and Simplicity S7711. I’m so happy with how it turned out. Good morning! I have been riding for a few years and have only rode vintage bikes. I am 6’2” 180lbs 24 years old with most of my height in my legs. I am located in USA. My commute to work is about 10 miles of 55-60mph two lane highway and some in town riding. Potholes are somewhat plentiful in the city. Midwestern streets. My partner and I are looking to move from Seattle to Tacoma or other nearby city in the spring and need some advice on location. We are looking for a 2+, ideally 3 bedroom house or townhome in an area that has reasonable access to stores, restaurants, and parks (we have an infant). Budget is between $2,000-$2,400 a month.
