NWT Mother’s Day gift! Black cargo tabby with the sweet potato 🥰 It was so wonderful to cut those tags off and unwrap factory wrapping from a bag that’s been sitting under my bed for months. 🤣 It felt like Christmas in July!! Especially compared to the last two kisslock barrel bags I ordered from Dillard’s this month. What a nightmare it is to receive a purse x2 that has been “nwt” yet clearly used and without tags, plus poor packaging from a depo store. Today was a great day and this bag deserves a shout out!

Dillards (US) has the Kisslock 16 in maple, but the photos and descriptions don’t show a detachable strap. I saw some videos on TikTok and those had the detachable thin leather strap.

It's crazy how some stores have just the polo man and some stores have that and Ralph Lauren on the shorts. Some stores will have half of the colors with both and half with just the horse and then like this is Dillard's and has both on all shorts. Even the Ralph Lauren website only has like three colors with both on them. I purchased a Polo Black pair from Macy's a few weeks ago and Delta Blue and Aviator Navy from RL online and other than the Ralph Lauren or lack thereof they're exactly the same. Anyway they're $110 in stores and $98 at Ralph Lauren and missed a $77 sale at Macy's this week so that *****.

I'm new to fragrance so I NEVER buy things based on first impression. I usually just waltz around the perfume section taking samples and spraying on myself to test stuff. It's easy at stores such as Sephora and Ulta cause there's too many people for employees to keep track. But once I go to retailers such as Nordstrom or Dillard's is when I become uncomfortable with the salespeople trying to pitch me a perfume or having to stare at me taking like 3 testers without buying **** and then heading to the next salesperson to do the same lmao. Someone pinch me! Can’t believe she’s finally mine. She showed up on Dillard’s website, sold out of course, but I happened to check if it was in store in my Dillards and it was. The kind sales associate saw how excited I was and went to the back to unbox their new inventory since it wasn’t out on the floor yet. This was the only one they had. So grateful & can’t wait to break her in🖤

With the nostalgia economy I think if they repainted them and added lighting again it would do wonders. It’s a shame they took out the skylight. The pictures don’t do justice to how big they are in person. For those unaware: Gainesville is the location of the University of Florida, whose mascot is the gator. The store was converted to Macy’s by 2005, closed in 2018 and is now the Dillard’s Women’s store. It appears Dillard’s kept some of the old Macy’s font signage in different parts of the store (like for the bathrooms, elevators, cosmetics etc.

For years I've wanted a Louis Vuitton bag especially after seeing the Murakami collection but have never been able to justify the cost or really afford it. I have extra money on me from selling my house and I'm near a LV store. I want to limit the expense to around $2,000 which doesn't give me a lot of options. I am struggling to find any true khaki/tawny beige chinos ANYWHERE. All I can find are the darker khaki color chinos and the white khaki chinos. I have been to: target, Marshall’s, Aeropostale, hollister, jcpenny, dillards, tj max, Ross, goodwill, GAP, every store at opry mills and cool springs. I have also been looking online and they do not have any for my waist size (28 men). I am also returning some I ordered online because they are darker than the pictures that were listed. I am honestly at the point where I want to give up but I need them for work. Does anyone know of any place that has ACTUAL true khaki chinos? Not the darker khaki or white khaki colored ones? Like many others, my Dillard’s order got canceled. Someone messaged me saying they spotted the bag for sale on the floor at a Coach store, so I got excited and called. I was told, “We do have it, but here’s the thing… the regional manager came in yesterday and said she wanted it. She didn’t leave with it, so I need to check with her first to see if she still wants it.” I never heard back. Honestly, it feels a bit shady—if she didn’t buy it, it should be available for sale.
