To give some context, I collect 70-volt intercom speakers as a hobby which are widely used in office buildings, schools, and stores. I have a full-blown 70-volt audio system going at home with about 200 plus speakers in total. I ordered a dishwasher with Lowes Home Improvement December 2, 2025. I paid for the dishwasher and installation, in full. ($568.96). Their contracted installers installed the dishwasher December 22, 2025. The next day, I realized it did not drain after completing a cycle. so I called Lowe's customer service number. These flat building roofs are easily accessible, with paved ground access. Even if the stores were closed, a common bucket truck can allow someone to service the panels. Because the land is already developed, by putting the solar power generation here, we can avoid developing other land. This allows us to get more economic output per square mile. A lot of stores use energy most during daylight. Why not generate the energy where/when it's needed? Solar Panels are light enough per square foot that we don't need to be concerned with whether the structures can support the additional weight.
