I was delivering for Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh and was close to reaching Level 4. One day I showed up to pick up an order, but there were no bags ready. I called Amazon support, and they told me, “We took it off your block,” and assured me it wouldn’t affect my standing. Need to use it finally though have had it since it was created as a program. I am always skeptical about ordering perishable foods in this manner. What are anyone's experiences with things like freshness/spoilage, bruised or damaged vegies/fruits, food container damage (jars, cans, bags), and remedy for any quality issues that need to be solved?

My site, an Amazon Fresh warehouse distribution point, is literally distributing russet potatoes that stink heavily of cow manure to the customer. I raised this to my current manager's attention. He had me bag it anyway, for my pick, to go out to the customer. He said the potatoes needed to be audited. I pointed out the potatoes should have been washed before being bagged and sent to us, and needed to be disposed of, since someone is likely to get sick if any are sent out. I know we’re all against shopping on Amazon. But if you have to order something from Amazon and need to return it, which drop off location would be best to avoid over plastic-wrapping? I used to return at Kohls because it’s the closest location to me after Amazon Fresh closed. I’ve maintained a near perfect rating on Amazon Flex for years. I’ve been doing Flex on and off for about 7 years and have completed over 10,000 deliveries.
