The pay for this was $10 which is why I stayed on it. Going 2 miles.

For context, my acceptance rate is like 66% because I don’t accept orders that are going to cost me to deliver because that defeats the entire purpose of why I DoorDash. I got a second double order while delivering and I declined it, but it obviously affected my rating which would bring me back down to Silver, meaning not as good of offers. Just frustrating because I do care about the customers food an the money they pay. I now know I could have just paused orders but I still don’t think this is right. On top of that, they push the acceptance rate but they don’t even consider the cost of gas now and won’t at least increase the base pay to match. It shouldn’t be up to the customers...

Since I am pretty much at maintenance, I thought let me try to inject maybe every 10 days or see how long I can go. I usually do my injection on Monday, today is Thursday. Today is probably it. I’m not starving. But I can definitely eat more, which is fine... Inflammation in my shoulder is back. But it’s the FOOD NOISE the most. It’s just huge. . I’m trying to create a cookie that tastes like vanilla ice cream without using actual ice cream. Like I do not want an ice cream cookie sandwich, or just a regular sugar cookie. My original idea came from loving the way it smells when you walk into a Dairy Queen… you know like sweet dairy and a hint of fried foods. I’m thinking some kind of swirl of white chocolate ganache, and a small touch of crushed up potato sticks (lol), but the actual dough has me stumped. Maybe multiple uses of vanilla? Like imitation, vanilla bean paste and actual vanilla extract? Would love any flavor science advice that could take this idea to the next level!

I bought the fruity pebbles shake from Dairy Queen and couldn’t take more than a few sips. The severity of sweetness was unbearable. Is too sensitive taste buds a part of aging? I can’t eat Frisch’s burgers anymore because they’re too salty. Ugh!!! Edit: welp, folks I tried to italicize unbearable but I couldn’t get it to work. I feel ancient. This is probably one of the weirdest experiences with Uber eats I've ever had. But I ordered Dairy Queen, a popular fast food and ice cream shop in the South of USA, and I noticed it was taking a very long time, like well over an hour past the time it was supposed to be here, and multiple drivers assigned. This is my sweet baby Calypso. First pic is at 8 months about a week ago. The second is at 2.5ish months when I first got her. I literally cannot believe how much she's grown. She's about 7lbs now. She has the most adorable wide eyes like a little owl! Right now she's very long and slinky, but you can't tell when she's laying down or sitting.
