I had an opportunity to visit the LA Mattel store.... And I would recommend it if you are in town. The store was very clean and well organized and the employees were helpful. Obviously there is other IP available such as He-Man, Barbie, monster jams, etc. I went in with no expectations but was surprised to find a TH. Also picked up (IMHO) The best Batmobile version (Hi Batmobile Redditer). The corporate office entry had some neat things to look at.... But they don't let you go very far. The hotel next door had a pretty cool shadow box display as well. If you're in the area and you can make time I would recommend, overall, maybe a 15-minute visit.

My home doesn't have a garage, and I need access to my tools too often to put them all the way out in the shed. I want to store them in my home office, and my tool bag has zero usefulness when it comes to sorting. Everything is literally just stacked up in the bag, and I want to treat my tools better than that. I'm trying to help a friend set up a new laptop desk for her bed, as she has recently become limited in her mobility. This desk is on wheels, and we're trying to figure out if it would be alright to plug the monitor or laptop, or both into this desk (see photo). We were hoping to plug the desk into a power strip, so I was unsure if this "chain" would be electrically safe, or if the desk would need to be plugged into the wall to use the outlets on the side of the desk.
