Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Supercuts Latest Community Discussions About SupercutsHad a crisis and chopped the absolute **** out of my hair (second time in a month?)2d agoTaco souuuup I'm too BROKE to buy the clothes and makeup I want and too much of a ***** to wear it around my judgemental conservative workplace and ultra religious family. I like some alt fashion but I don't know enough about the GENRES and I don't want to be a POSER. and I don't know how to LOOK how I FEEL I SHOULD and my BODY doesn't match the BEAUTY STANDARDS or WHAT I THINK IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE. I haven't been LIVING how I WANT TO because I don't know what I am MISSING and I feel like a caged ANIMAL. YOU KNOW WHAT I GOT THOUGH? SCISSORS, NO BARBER EXPERIENCE AT ALL, AND CURLY HAIR THAT HIDES ALL MISTAKES BABYYYYY. SUPERCUTS MAY HAVE WARNED ME BUT TH... On a budget: Hair Blowout from Supercuts or Ulta Beauty?6d agoI’m a recent grad looking to take grad photos and want a blowout, but struggle doing it myself. I’d want the blowout to last two days (two grad photo shoots). Any thoughts on either chain and how to make it last two days? (For context in I’m Southern California, not humid) Haircut in Cary, NC?6d agoI am looking for a hairstylist who understands and can abide by NO LAYERS. I have been going to a stylist for years now and while I cannot find anyone who does the highlighting better, she insists on layering my hair even though I tell her not to, every time. This last time was the final ****. I actually went to Supercuts the day before and the girl there did a great job starting what I wanted (I lied and said a friend of mine is going to cosmetology school and asked if she could do it). I was looking to build on that cut and now it's a layered mess AGAIN that I paid a fortune for. She claimed she was following the picture I showed her but my hair looks nothing like the picture. I'... The Little Prince6d agoAs Moms went, they didn’t come much prouder than Sharon Murphy. ‘It’s so good to meet you, Siu-Ling… Please tell me if I got that wrong.’ ‘No, Mrs Murphy, that’s perfect.’ Sharon, a tall, well-built blonde woman, pulled the small girl in close. And then she saw her son, James, back from college (finally!) and took his handsome face in her hands. ‘My Little Prince!’ … ‘A winner,’ she continued, ‘a born winner.’ ‘Come on, Mom,’ James replied, but there was no real protest in his voice. ‘No,’ Siu-Ling answered. ‘My parents are Chinese. They probably wouldn’t say they were proud of me until my “second” Nobel.’ ‘Jam... Actually affordable haircut in south bay9d agoHi everyone! I've been scouring different reddit posts and yelp reviews trying to find a good option for a women's haircut. I'm new to CA and am discovering the harsh reality that "affordable" haircut means anywhere from $95-$150. I'm used to getting a good wash, cut, and style for $50 including a sizeable tip. I'm willing to spend more than that in order to be realistic and get a decent cut. But I don't want to spend that much for something I'm going to ****. I have a few specifications that I might have to be willing to let go of but would like to find if possible. I have very thick hair and like more vintage styles with retro layers and fringe... Stay away from this place on the 28th9d agoLots of trim I dabble in pokemon collecting.. their thoughts on $GMEBAY9d agosensible chuckle any good hairdressers?10d agoi went to supercuts by me (i know already the issue) but i dont know any other hair place other then barber shops and the people in my household dont do barber shops nor masculine hair styles. any good places in or by here would be really helpful [Help] Elliot With Two T’s dancing to Supercut by Lorde10d agocan someone PLEASE find me the video i saw it on instagram and cant for the life of me find it - she’s wearing blonde hair and like a red outfit. please i need it Hair cut recomendations18d agoHi, I am looking to get a pretty extreme haircut soon, but don't know where to go. We used to go to Jasmine at Supercuts in Saberton, but she moved. I don't have a huge budget, but will pay a little more because of how extreme the cut is. I have slightly wavy hair and am going for a longish pixie cut from about shoulder length, if that matters. Thanks in advance! Walk In Haircuts?18d agoI'm in desperate need of a haircut and am looking for a place like Supercuts where I can just walk in and get something basic. I do have curly hair, but I want a simple bob so I don't think a curly stylist is necessary. Is there any place in Manhattan that does this? Hair stylist / Barber on the west side?18d agoHaven’t cut my hair since I moved to Jacksonville 4 years ago and I’m ready to let it go. Back when my hair was shorter I would pretty much just go to any of the Hispanic barbers in SD and would be solid. Anyone have some recommendations on the west side? (Hair is down to the middle of my back and would like to avoid chain places like Supercuts etc…) Thanks in advance. Hair cut on a Sunday for MIL?23d agoHello! My mother-in-law is visiting and wants to get a haircut (nothing fancy) at a salon, but not a Supercuts type place. Anyone know of stylists who book last-minute on a Sunday near downtown or midtown? What are the most frugal yet low-effort options for coloring hair?23d agoMy budget doesn’t extend to getting my roots colored every month, but I’m terrible at coloring my own hair (there’s a lot of it, and it needs to be done every 3-4 weeks because it grows fast, too). Even Supercuts charges $60 to color roots. I’ve considered hiring someone through TaskRabbit to help me. I’m going to have to figure out something soon because I’m going to be looking for a job, and I’m feeling really insecure about job hunting in my 50s. Due to my general ineptitude with hair, I can’t cut it too short to put up in a ponytail. More info: \- My hair is naturally dark brown, and I use Clairol Medium Mahogany Brown (which is actually too dark, but I’m stuck with ... Reasonably priced salon? Nail place?27d agoHi.. I'm looking for some recommendations for a reasonably priced salon or stylist. I'm in need of some self care. To be honest, I haven't gotten a professional cut since COVID so I have noooo idea how much to expect. And I can't afford too much. I read one post where a lady paid like $300 for services- I definitely can't afford that, but I don't want to go to like Supercuts either. I just want a layered cut, don't even have to style my hair.. no dye or anything. I'm also looking for a decent place to get a pedi. I used to go to Woodland and it was about $40 (with tip) but that was a year ago. Again, I have no idea what the average price is. S... How much length do you need to lose to get layers/a shag?28d agoI've been growing my hair out because I eventually want a medium shag (by male standards) or a wolf cut. The problem is, my haircut before was a really basic SuperCuts haircut and it's reached the point of being super ugly and unwieldy, mostly because the front is way out of proportion compared to the rest. I feel like I need something done, but the problem is right now my hair is the length I would want the shag to be once freshly cut, so I'll be going shorter when all's said and done. Would it be possible for the salonist to cut the texture in while only taking like 0.5-1 inch off the back while cutting the front more, or should I bite the bullet and keep my ugly haircu... Old Lady Haircuts28d agoI'd like to know what I'm doing wrong here, because no matter what I ask my stylists I always get talked away from getting a cut that is fun, risky, or what I actually want. I used to have a stylist that was willing to experiment and I got some great cuts from her before she left the state a year or two before covid. I cut my own length for a long time but nothing more than that. Now... I feel like the stylists I think might be adventurous still want to "avoid making it too \[whatever\] as it grows out." If it grows out weird, I'll get another cut! This ain't my first rodeo! I'm sitting here with a nice, safe, might-as-well-be-my-mom one length cut that... Looking for hairstylist recs30d agoHoping to get some good recommendations for a hairstylist who is really skilled cutting hair and can do a cut similar to this (picture 1) on curly hair without making me look like Robert Plant (picture 2). I've been poring over local salon pictures and reviews, and they all seem to focus on color (irrelevant). Does this haircut justify more than a Supercuts or Perfect Look visit? I feel a little lost on where to go after unsatisfactory experiences the last few haircuts I spent loads on. How about wasted liquid lunches33d agoLos Angeles Hair Stylists help!33d agoHello! A bit of context before i ask my question: I’ve been working at a corporate salon that doesn’t take requests in Brentwood. I’m looking to move to a commission salon but haven’t worked in a full service salon since i was an assistant like 6 years ago. Because we don’t take requests, i don’t have a clientele built up. How would you recommend finding a salon to work at? Everything on indeed is like Supercuts or sports clips and that’s even more corporate than the corporate salon I’m at now 😭 I’m hoping for something in weho, Sherman oaks, Burbank or anything in that radius. Any tactics or salons you could recommend would be great! Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
