Afterwards when I saw almost week ahead that they were going to deliver it on a Thursday, I rescheduled to the next Monday/Tuesday like I did with my other packages, because I work. Then they tried to deliver while I was at work. Amazon was like “we missed you on Thursday so we sent the twin mattress back to this facility for pickup” and I’m like first of all I rescheduled some packages for Monday/Tuesday so that I wasn’t working when they were gonna drop it off, secondly why would I pay to get a uhaul (or drive if I was somebody with a truck, which I’m not) when they could just deliver it another day? Originally scheduled to be delivered May 6th but was not delivered due to a "Security Exception" and they said they were unable to access the delivery location. It's a house with no security measures, not gates or anything prohibiting them from getting to the porch. We've never had issues with packages before. Hi Everyone, I’m hoping someone can give me some assistance/advice. I recently received a parcel from Japan (not too big or heavy, if that matters at all) with contents worth £650 - including the shipping cost. It was delivered with no indication of there being any further fees, and then a few days after delivery I received an email saying that there was an Import Charge to pay (see attached photo). I had an order of roughly the same value, from the same company, delivered by FedEx not too many months ago and there was no additional fees to pay so I don’t know why this one is different. My boss had his new clubs sent to my house. I get it my car to back out of the driveway yesterday when I see my neighbor waving his hands and yelling as I started to move. At that exact time I see something I didn’t expect in my backup camera and jam the brake. Get out and see the box with the clubs leaning against the back of my car (which without a backup camera would not have been visible). A couple things really **** me off. First, seems crazy to lean something like that against someone’s vehicle - especially since the house is like 50 feet from there. Paid for express shipping through seller it’s supposed to & still showing it will get here today on the website, I called fedex who said it’s still showing in Alaska. I need it by tomorrow by noon, but that’s not looking good at all. I live in the Indianapolis region. What are the odds it actually goes out for delivery tomorrow?

Weird request! I am new to JC and accidentally typed my address wrong when buying a pair of shoes. I accidentally typed 30 River Drive N (instead of Park Lane). Didn’t realize it. The shoes were delivered on Saturday but the addresses I typed doesn’t exist and this pic is definitely not my house. We live in Newport (which is new buildings, this looks like an older home). FedEx won’t tell me where they delivered to and the shoe site said they have no idea. I’m guessing FedEx changed the delivery address to something of their own accord! Yeah, I know Choice is supposed to have tariffs included, but I'm specifically asking about oversize orders that are UPS (or even FedEx or DHL). I've heard UPS is double charging (non-Ali) orders, like even though it was sent DDP they are still sending tariff bills. Specifically for Ali orders, I don't know if Ali does the importing then passes to UPS for delivery, or if UPS does importing and delivery both? I've been avoiding large orders because of this, but I may have a situation where it is unavoidable.

I’m sharing this because I believe I have been affected by a false delivery attempt by FedEx, and I want to know if others have experienced the same issue. According to the delivery log provided to me, there was only about a **1-minute delay** between the alleged delivery attempt and the parcel being rerouted to the depot, with me then being told to collect it myself. My recent purchase: The Strathberry Basket (Small) - Raffia/Leather Tan. Love it. It's lovely, it holds things well, easy to handle, take things out etc. The handles are comfortable and just the right length for me - I can carry it on the shoulder or in my hand. The leather pocket inside is very small so it's just for the valuables, like a card or keys, but the bag is a basket, so the intention is to use it as such. I use a small pouch with my essentials and then just transfer that when I change my bags. The leather is nice, supple but not too soft, grained. It does get dirty easily so you need to be careful.
