Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Walgreens Latest Community Discussions About WalgreensOrdering Fluids - Walgreens1d agoTwo people mentioned in the comments they would like to know how to order from Walgreens. I had screenshots of what information I have saved but could only put one image per comment so I'm creating a new post and it may help others. I've seen some people saying Walgreens does not have lactated ringers anymore or can't order them. I can't speak to that right now as I haven't ordered in awhile. But hearing how others had problems even getting a pharmacy to help I don't know if they are saying the fluids just can't be ordered because they don't know how. I'm including various screenshots I've saved. My apologies if they are not in a good o... Crying2d agoInsurance stopped paying for Nurtec for some reason. I’m so mad as I’ve tried other rescue meds and this is the only one that helps. Thank god they still cover my Botox. How do I get my Rx filled2d agoI’m in Florida. I’ve spent about 6 months trying to get a Vyvanse prescription. I had to see 5 providers before I found one willing to prescribe it. Well turns out the local pharmacies, Walgreens, Publix and CVS will not fill a stimulant unless the doctor is within 20 miles of the pharmacy. There aren’t any local doctors or clinics that will prescribe stimulants. I called my insurance company and they can’t mail schedule 2 drugs. I’m just stuck. What do I do to get this prescription? I’ve spent over $3000 between appointments, “intake assessments”, 2 EKG (because different docs required different tests), bloodwork, etc. I feel so defeated Frisco’s medication disposal rules are a nightmare for seniors and apartment dwellers3d agoWe lost my stepmother this morning. After getting my father back to his place, he wanted to do the responsible thing and safely dispose of her medications. He’s a senior who recently sold his home and moved into a Frisco apartment. Here’s the "bureaucratic wall" we hit: Frisco disqualifies residents from dropping off medications if they don’t have a current Frisco driver’s license. Before the "just change it online" comments start...he is 1/2 Comanche and 1/2 Kiowa. He is over 70 and navigating the nightmare of getting a Real ID, which required a certified birth certificate that took over two years to secure. Because of his age, he also has to take a physical dr... America's Jobs Engine Report: How the Healthcare Hiring Surge Is Reshaping the Best Investment Plays of 20263d ago**Key takeaways** * Healthcare employment has exploded about 84% since 1996 and roughly 24% just since 2020, reaching a record \~18.4 million workers—by far the strongest long‑term job creator in the US economy. * This shift makes healthcare revenues and profits structurally less cyclical than many other sectors, giving well‑run healthcare companies and ETFs a long runway relative to weaker areas like manufacturing, which has shed about 27% of jobs over the same period. * For retail investors, the sweet spot is a mix of diversified healthcare ETFs plus leading stocks in services, insurers, med‑tech, and biopharma that align with demographic aging, chronic‑disease care, and technol... Shilling Vaccines?6d agoI keep getting called out for not offering vaccines to each patient in line when I do register, but like why???? We are understaffed as is, and the line is usually 10-15 people from open to close. If people want vaccines they're going to ask for vaccines. I feel like it makes every interaction you have with a patient so transactional, even though I know to corporate they are all 100% transactional, but ending a positive patient interaction by trying to force vaccines on them is part of why so many patients **** Walgreens now. I understand financially why Walgreens is pushing them, but we can barely keep up with prescriptions as is. The vaccines people get this time of year are also not ... FSBP 90 day prescription requirement ?10d agoThis is my first year with FSBP insurance and recently I had a prescription refill denied by insurance. After calling I was told it was denied because it was a 30 day refill - any prescription that is for a regular reoccurring drug must be a 90 day refill. They said this was a change made back in 2018 to the plan. Apparently they have a two month grace period where they will fill the 30 day prescription but the third month triggers a block. I don’t remember seeing anything about that in the information packet I got when I signed up, anyone else who has FSBP insurance know where to look to see that requirement ? It wasn’t a huge problem - we have about a dozen prescriptions that had t... CHAMPVA and OptumRx20d agoCan someone please guide me. Is this the generic ID card one can upload into say CVS or Walgreens? Are the Rx bin numbers correct? How about the other numbers? Another shortage?22d agoI need a refill. I have six days’ worth remaining. I just called over 20 pharmacies in my area (including the mom and pops) and everyone is on back order. What is going on??? \*\*update\*\* I found a pharmacy that will fill it for me “just this once” and I can def give the full story/reason when I’m done with work later or maybe tomorrow. If yall don’t see me post by tomorrow morning, comment to remind me and I’ll give the scoop. Too much going on right now to remember everything 😭 **Second update:** So here’s what I gathered from the short phone call with that pharmacy. First, one thing he definitely got wrong was that pharmacies weren’t out of stock, they just want to ... Another Seattle drugstore is set to close (Walgreens - 23rd & Jackson)29d ago# Walgreens store in Seattle’s Central District is slated to close | The Seattle Times [Megan Ulu-Lani Boyanton](safari-reader://www.seattletimes.com/author/megan-ulu-lani-boyanton/) March 26, 2026 at 2:20 pm By Seattle Times business reporter A Walgreens store in Seattle’s Central District is set to shutter permanently this spring, marking another pharmacy loss for the city. The location at 2400 S. Jackson St. will close on May 19, director of corporate communications Carly Kaplan said in an emailed statement Thursday. Customers can fill prescriptions there until the closure date, then they’ll be automatically transferred to the store at 4412 Rainier Ave. S., which is abou... Will Records From Working at Rite Aid Affect a Walgreens Application?30d agoBackstory: I applied to work as a general store employee at Rite Aid in 2019. I got the job, did a drug test and passed. Shortly thereafter I was injured in a car accident. I was unable to work so I contacted the manager and let them know what happened and that I could not work. Would that negatively affect/eliminate my chances at getting a pharmacy tech job? Thanks for any information in advance. Does anyone have any reccs for a place I can buy needles and syringes online?34d agoBasically what the title says. The pharmacy I get my T from will only give me enough needles and syringes for the amount of vials they give me, whereas my provider recommends that I pull from the vial more than one. So when my provider prescribes me 4 vials, they're expecting it to last two months while the pharmacy thinks it'll only last one month. I've gone to a different pharmacy (Walgreens) a few times to get extra needles but I'm worried if I keep doing this I might get labelled as drug seeking or get one of those pharmacists that refuse to provide medications when you're *********** (I live in TX so I don't think there are laws to prevent that.) I don... Walgreens Shorted Me Meds35d agoFor the past few months, I’ve noticed I’m short meds, and it’s been driving me mad. I count and count, and beat myself up about how I could lose them. I live alone, so no one comes in an out to take them, and they are safely stored at home. Because of this, when I went to pick up my 30 day Vyvanse prescription from Walgreens this past month, I immediately took the meds home and poured them out to count. 28 pills of 30. They shorted me 2 pills. I raged, wondering if the shortage I’ve had is because of someone at Walgreens taking them. I call the pharmacy, trying to contain my rage, so they won’t think I’m a drug abuser. Speaking to the pharmacist, he completely blew m... Pharmacy to fulfill medication for miscarriage?36d agoI’ve been in the process of having a miscarriage and finally got to the point where my doctor can prescribe me mifepristone and misoprostal - “abortion drugs” - so I can pass everything instead of slowly bleeding for weeks and risking sepsis. Unfortunately, due to the laws being what they are, Walgreens can only fulfill it if I drive to STL to pick them up myself at the only Walgreens pharmacy in the state that can fulfill those. Walmart can only prescribe the misoprostal, but only if I get the entire bottle of 30 - I need four. Does anyone know of any local pharmacies that will fill these? It’s a terrible experience already but our “pro-birth” laws are making this so much wor... Anyone with splitting issue for Bisoprolol Fumerate?37d agoI struggle with mine. I use quality pill cutters. Tablets crumbled into tiny pieces. My insurance covers only 5mg and up and I am prescribed 2.5mg. I have no choice but to split the 5mg. Due the great difficulty splitting it, my daily dose varies each day. Not safe. I showed all the crumbled pieces to the pharmacy Manager at Walgreen where I purchased it. She said their policy is "Once the drugs leave the store, Walgreen does not take it back, exchange or swap". Customer taking inaccurate dose due to problems splitting the pills - Not Their Problem. The drug manufacture for this med. is "Unichem". Am I just unlucky or is my issue common? Questions about ER Visit & Prescriptions39d agoInfo about me: 70% Service Connection Backstory: Yesterday evening my cat bit me and penetrated my skin deep enough to draw a fair amount of blood. Normally, I would just deal with it. However, after it began swelling and turning red / getting infected. and reading online that cat bites are bacteria-ridden, I decided to go to the ER (No urgent cares near me were open at this time). Doc there told me it's a good thing I came in and ended up prescribing me some antibiotics. Note: I did call the 1-844-724-7842 number to inform the VA of my ER visit. This is where my questions/issues begin: I went to Walgreens to have the prescription filled, they informed me that they are not under cont... Ice Cream Rant 2: Why is your sad freezer with three pints of Ben & Jerry's under lock and key?39d agoIn another edition of First World Problems: Ice Cream Edition ... Sometimes it's an adventure trying to hunt down ice cream. But I wanted every **** coffee ice cream I could find locally to make sure I'm tasting everything for my friends at Reddit. Who would have thought something as pedestrian as Ben & Jerry's Coffee, Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz would be the one that's so hard to find? I guess B&J's having so many coffee flavors is to blame — my local Safeway, Kroger and specialty stores had Coffee Toffee, Coffee and Fudge Scoop-A-Palooza, even tiramisu and a new mocha Sundae flavor. But this reliable old coffee flavor (which admittedly hadn't... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
