According to the criminal complaint, Tommy Adams, 41, had worked at the Cub Foods on and off for 15 years but quit in 2017 to work as an officer for the St. Paul Police Department. In September 2025, a Cub Foods loss prevention investigator became suspicious when he noticed an empty Gatorade bottle in the trash. He had taken the trash out the last time he was in the office, and thought that no one else had been in the room since then. He reviewed security camera footage and saw that around 10 p.m. on Aug. 24, 2025, a man entered the secure ... Whole Foods changed to Cub Foods14d agoFirst time experiencing this. I scheduled a Whole Foods Woodbury C264 block. Used the Flex gps and hit "I arrived" and "I'm parked". Verified my ID, and expected it to switch to the scan bags screen. Instead, after verification it switched to the route itinerary and wanted me to go to Cub Foods in Oakdale which is 9mins (3mi) away to pick up bags. I still completed this block, but found the whole situation odd. This Cub Foods location in Oakdale is not even one of the "Instant Offer" locations. Has this happened to anyone? Yes I know Cub uses Amazon Flex for deliveries, I just found it odd that it told me to go to Whole Foods first instead of directly... Moving to Wisconsin26d agoHi. I'm interested in moving to Wisconsin. The west coast is absolute trash and I'm sick if it. Especially all the hoo-hah about the weather here and how "great" it is. That ship set sail 10-15 years ago and it *****. I'm not a stranger to WI, my dad's side is from there and am very familiar with the state. What attracts me to this state are as follows: \-You guys still have proper seasons \-I strongly relate to the culture, hard work ethic, and self discipline in the area \-I love the cold, snow, and rain. Literally the polar opposite of the west coast \-Food and culinary arts are just better imo. I especially love milk and the cheese is just amazin... I grew up as the youngest with a very toxic unhappy family (2 brothers mom and dad) with my parents constantly fighting. One day my dad finally left the house which was a relief for the household. My brother was going through alot and but him and my mom did not get along which resulted in them fighting daily. I drowned myself in wow, neighborhood friends and other stuff online I could do with my online friends. Fast forward - I graduate high school and then real life begins. Laughed at it went to Restaurant depot but they do not hold that any more. There was 1 pound for 8$ "Chef's quality". Went around a few stores, Cub Foods, Hy-Vee, and everyone want around 2$ per ounce. At internet it is selling for 23c ounce "Regal caraway seeds" - 5 lbs for 18$. I'm done with small package of any spice in this life. Just 1 pound from Restaurant depot. What happened with Walmart? The charges allege bad faith bargaining, unilateral policy changes, and retaliatory firing... Old store brand gelatin, likely early-to-mid-'90s176d agoFlavorite was the house brand for Cub Foods (now known as WinCo) on the West Coast, though it is my understanding that Cub Foods still exists in some parts of the Upper Midwest. I remember seeing Flavorite's distinctive, horizontal-striped packaging at Cub Foods as a kid. When I found this old box of gelatin in my home-health clients' house, it immediately jogged my memory. I love the sassy little fleur-de-lis that dots the "i"; It gives the box a little bit of flair! What old bookstores used to be in Duluth?181d agoMy family and I were discussing which bookstores used to be in Duluth. As far as chain stores go, there was a B. Dalton and a Walden Books in the mall, plus a Borders in the Cub Foods building (along the side, where Caribou is now). Is any of this accurate? What other chain bookstores were in Duluth? Wasn’t there one in the Holiday Center? Other memories of independent bookstores, plus notable used bookstores, would be appreciated. The only used bookstore my family frequented was the Amazing Alonso, which is still in business. Thanks! My first quad delivery/shopping order on DD.203d agoI thought the double orders were getting silly but I got my first quad. 35$, 10.6 miles, about an 1:40 to complete. The first two was a double Aldi order in the same store. The last two were just pickups. Aldi was crazy busy, could have easily knocked this out in a little over an hour if it wasn't packed. Just thought it was interesting. Spectrum high split (Symmetrical speeds)216d agoETA for symmetrical speeds will be random, but the high split update ( reason why there’s 20 trucks at by cub foods) is estimated to be finished end of October. If your bill is too high or you’re not using up to date equipment I highly recommend going to the store and discuss your bill. If you’re paying over 100$ for any internet definitely go to the store. - totally not an employee Rules around prescription refills219d agoI’m curious about the rules around prescription refills for stimulants where you live and get your prescriptions, and if the rules are the same everywhere. I live in MN and get my prescriptions at Cub Pharmacy (Cub Foods is a grocery store). I take Vyvanse and they come 30 at a time. I cannot call the 24/7 automated system and request a refill even if my doctor has refills in the queue. I must call when they are open and speak to a live person to request my refill, again, even if my doctor has refills in the queue. If they are out of stock, I must call around to find a pharmacy that has it in stock. Then I must call my doctor to have them resend the prescription to the new pharmacy. ... St. Paul mayoral candidates debate rising property taxes, loss of Cub Foods234d agoSounds like Her and Carter got into it last night. “When Cub was struggling, they reached out to City Hall, and City Hall was not responsive,” Her said. “You cannot solve problems if you are not answering your phone and you are not meeting with people. They were told … ‘well, you should address it and don’t let people walk out of your store with your merchandise.’ They were thinking ‘we’re not here to police the people’ — it puts their employees in danger.” “With all due respect, that’s fundamentally untrue,” the mayor said. “We met with Cub leadership and had a great conversation and built a plan.
