Is WinCo rebranding? This label was different from all the others in the cooler? Wildebeest? Seriously? I asked a store associate and they said it might have been a misprint and they’ve never seen this label before because they don’t sell this type of exotic meat, though they do sell weird thins in the frozen meats. Is this what WinCo is changing to or is it a joke from someone on the label printer?

I saw today that they are putting in what appears to be 24 new Tesla Superchargers (latest V4 models making it possible to charge with up to 250 kW?) at the new Winco Foods location, where the old Fry's Electronics used to be. Currently the closest Superchargers to central Renton are near Southcenter and Ikea. We all know that Winco Foods offers good deals on grocery but unfortunately only accepts debit cards in store. Fortunately, there is a work around to earn credit card points. Winco accepts credit cards on their website for GC’s. What I did was buy a GC in person for a small amount with a debit card and reload it online with credit. I ran a test with 3 major issuers: Amex Gold - Earns 4x Grocery Citi Strata Premier - Earns 1x points as Shopping Chase Sapphire Preferred - Earns 1x as Shopping It seems that Amex is the only issuer that gives the grocery category points. Store #2512 opened roughly in 1997 but relocated to another building in 2007 in Phoenix Arizona. I have been desperately trying to find pictures of 2512 prior to Their relocation and figured maybe someone here might have what I'm looking for? The former Walmart building became a Winco Foods roughly in 2013 and the buildings design and layouts were changed but I've always wanted to see what it looked like as a Walmart. if it helps 2512 used to have a statue of Ronald Mcdonald sitting on a bench by the Mcdonalds inside. If anyone here has pictures please share , I'd love to see! 🙏
