Great Clips Locations

Howdy guys! Anyone have any good recommendations for someone to get a faux hawk done that won’t be jacked up in south/Central Austin? Have gone to super cuts, birds, bishops, clips, and great clips and a couple other locals. Every. Single. Time. It gets jacked up. I show photos, reference what I used to have, have paid $80-$30. I am at my wits end. Anyone do a nice fade and some texturing and can keep sides even by any chance?

I’ve been going to Great Clips for haircuts, but honestly $34-$38 every few months when I go adds up quickly and I am watching my expenses. Any suggestions for inexpensive haircuts for guys, preferably in the NW? Thanks in advance.

Bonjour! We just moved to Strasbourg from the US and my partner is needing to get his hair cut. In the US he uses places like Great Clips that are no reservations and cheap (less than $20) since he a) is not fussy and b) has very minimal hair. Does Strasbourg have anything like that? He is willing to pay more, just doesn’t need a fancy salon. Merci!

Hi Reddit, My little brother (17M) has had super thick, wavy hair his whole life. Our mom always had hairstylists cut it like a super short collegiate style, but my brother absolutely hates it. Once, I took him to a Great Clips salon and asked them to keep his hair longer (it typically sits at about 5ish inches) but add some layers. They basically just gave him a trim, without asking clarifying questions on what he was going for. How do you even begin to start out as an independent stylist when you're new AND poor? Is it possible? I need advice on where to start first. I’m in the West Metro. My hair lady is great but I just cannot afford a $100 haircut right now. Anyone have any stylist/salon recs for affordable (under $50) haircuts for long thick straight hair? I am open to great clips and such too, if I know which stylist to ask for! I tried a teaching salon once and the woman who did my hair super nervous because of how thick it is and messed it up, so prefer not to go that route.

Not saying people should not tip barbers but still it's pretty wild and stereotyped. Edit: For people demanding translation "Brothers, in Texas there's a custom for leaving tips for hair stylists. $7-$10 is the custom but you can offer more if you are happy. Tips are a major part of their earnings". FYI .The price of a haircut, by the way is 20$
