Great Clips Locations

I’m in the West Metro. My hair lady is great but I just cannot afford a $100 haircut right now. Anyone have any stylist/salon recs for affordable (under $50) haircuts for long thick straight hair? I am open to great clips and such too, if I know which stylist to ask for! I tried a teaching salon once and the woman who did my hair super nervous because of how thick it is and messed it up, so prefer not to go that route.

Not saying people should not tip barbers but still it's pretty wild and stereotyped. Edit: For people demanding translation "Brothers, in Texas there's a custom for leaving tips for hair stylists. $7-$10 is the custom but you can offer more if you are happy. Tips are a major part of their earnings". FYI .The price of a haircut, by the way is 20$

I always get my hair cut at the Great Clips in Chevy Chase, going on Sundays because they have so little parking. I noticed the app and Google Maps said they were closed, but I went anyway because the phone said they were open, and another business had told me Google Maps says they’re closed because they’re open every other week in a certain day. Hours on the door say they’re closed should be open today too. What’s up?

I’ve cut my hair the same way for 15+ years at this point besides just telling the barber to give me something new once or twice but nothing has ever stuck. I have fine hair that is relatively straight but does begin to curl slightly once it hits a certain length (this is typically my cue that it’s been too long since my last haircut). I also have some widows peaks. I want something that suits my face shape better, especially as I am working towards losing some weight as well, and also isn’t just a GreatClips haircut from 15 years ago because I have frequently been told that my haircut is terrible. With this economy I don’t feel like paying $40+ for a guy’s haircut. **Great Clips** (Next to Jersey Mikes) is conveniently close and I can walk in without having to wait forever for an appointment. I know you get what you pay for but I want to check if there are any survivors that don’t regret having gone. I’m around 5 inches long and I want to let it grow a bit more. I’m thinking maybe just take off some weight, maybe layer it better or if anything take about 1/2 to an inch. I shaved my head last year and it has taken a lot to get my hair to grow back healthy. Am I walking into the Devil’s den? Looking for experiences.

Im a guy with long hair. I used to just go to great clips but im never truly happy with them. Are there salons that specialize in men's long hair?

Would love to see some great clips as our "core streamers" are mass abandoning ChaseRP. What are they up to in other RP servers? Chase is pretty much just a server where day 0 Streamers add "Partner Push" to their titles. There isnt much more going on. I'll post favored streamers, but I'm curious what you post first?!

I have a lot of health issues. I’ll number the times I have left work. I work at a Great Clips. 1. Vertigo. I’ve had this for a few years. I was cutting someone’s hair and I started getting dizzy. And I stayed dizzy even after an hour so my boss (very nicely) said I could go home so I did. 2. Wore uncomfortable shoes.
