I’ve been employed by Publix since the beginning of October of 2025. (First day working was near the end of that month). It was rocky in the beginning and still baffles me today. We have been seeing an endocrinologist due to our kiddo having some GI issues. He is in the 99th percentile for weight. He is 12 years old, 5ft 1in and 174 lb. She is having us restrict his diet to zero sugar drinks/ snacks (water, coke zero if he has a soda, zero sugar yogurt, etc), limiting his carbs (breakfast 30g, lunch & dinner 45g, 1 snack per day 15g). He's always been a "grazer" so he prefers to basically snack all day and then eat a bigger meal for dinner. First post. I had been attempting to lose weight since mid 2025, but got serious starting October. The heaviest I weighed (in my life) was 260 in May, 2025. As of last week, I have made it to about 225-230. I’m in my late 20’s and 6ft, just to paint a better picture. I wanted to share my progress with people to show a different perspective. I love to hit up a Lee’s when I swing through Muskegon (just did today in fact). We have a myriad of chicken joints in GR it seems, but not having a Lee’s around here is a complete shame. Their food is a cut above other chains like KFC and chick-fil-a, of which there are a multitude of. Cousins is great too, especially for a local spot, but Lee’s is awesome for fast food imo. Chick-fil-A has filed permits to build its sixth Norman location a prominent site in University North Park. The Atlanta-based fast-food giant submitted a $4.5 million permit application for a new restaurant at the southeast corner of Rock Creek Road and 24th Avenue Northwest.
