Assalam Alaikum, My manager (who is not Muslim) brought breakfast sandwiches from Chick-fil-A for the entire office. It was a chicken biscuit, and since I know it is not halal, I did not eat it and returned it. Is this the correct action in Islam? Title sounds really silly but hear me out. My preference when it comes to food is very specific but also is almost impossible to find. When I eat, I prefer my food to be of a “goop” consistency over anything solid. Oftentimes I’ll wake up nauseous and only be capable of eating this goop. It’s mostly a texture thing.
