Nobody has posted in a while on Sola Bread. The Costco near me had the butter style, and of course, it’s Costco , you have to get 2. I usually buy at the grocery store, (Natures Own, and we have H‑E‑B with good keto choices). The Sola is very soft, stretchy, absorbent, and I didn’t think the smell was too appealing. I’m sure it will be better toasted since it’s very moist and almost wet feeling. Anyway, Sola is going to be a no for me in the future.

Where I am originally from, there’s a grocery store called H-E-B that you can build lists of specific items (I.e. 1 stalk of broccoli, 8oz cottage cheese) then just reorder these for curbside or delivery. There’s an H-E-B (Texas grocery store chain and my personal favorite grocery store) opening up, and they have a restaurant inside most H-E-B locations called True Texas BBQ that actually makes really solid, well cooked BBQ. Is it just me or does it seem like HEB's bags are a slap in the face to its liberal customers. Just a bs virtue signal with a phony effort at "sustainability". HEB's bags used to be usable for things like trash can liners, then came the reusable bag mandates, well intentioned but ultimately bad idea, that created more plastic waste 10-30 times more perbag. Still the bag was reusable for things other than groceries even if it was a pain in the butt that I had to pay for the privilege of. I've eaten my fair share of 7-Eleven and Lawson sandwiches and HEB's versions do not lose out. They got really soft crustless bread and fresh ingredients. Maybe not the cheapest but a sensible price in 2026. Definitely one of the better grocery store premades I've had, and I think people like them because there's only 1-2 sandwiches left every time I check.
