Looking for kettlebells like Crunch Fitness6d agoFinally getting a space big enough to start my home gym. I use kettle bells regularly at Crunch fitness and I like their style but don’t know exactly what they’re called or what to look for. Do all gyms basically force personal trainers into sales roles?9d agoI recently got certified and I’m currently studying kinesiology because I want to become a better personal trainer by understanding the body more deeply. I started working at a gym about 3–4 months ago (Crunch Fitness), and so far I’ve only managed to get around 5 clients. The people I do train seem happy and consistently show up, so the training side itself isn’t the issue. The challenge is that most of my time and success seems to depend on sales. I have to constantly try to bring in new clients, whether that’s talking to gym members, sitting at the front desk to pitch intro sessions, or making cold calls throughout the day. Honestly, I’m not great at selling. I enjoy coachi... I’m a student here at Penn state, and have used all the facilities on campus, and have gone to crunch fitness for gym workouts. I’m used to an “old school” style of gym and can’t seem to find any, or am just having trouble finding some. I’m tired of going to the gym, and machines and equipment being used by people that are constantly on their phones in between workouts. Does anyone have any recommendations of a gym that I can lift heavy, have plenty of machines, and no students sitting on their phones during workouts? Gym buddy9d agoHello everyone 30/F looking for a workout partner that goes to crunch fitness off colonial close to Waterford lakes. Preferably female. I would say I’m a beginner but eager to try out machines and diversify my capabilities. Definitely overweight but I’m slowly make my way down with 45 down but I’ve got a long way to go at 350lbs. Appreciate that help and guidance!
