Ashley Locations

So I recently went to Ashley furniture to shop for a couch. Found one for 4k which I already thought was a lot but after taxes and everything it was closer to 7k. I recently purchased appliances (dishwasher, stove, range microwave, laundry washer and dryer, and dish washer for that price). Isn't it insane to spend that same price for one couch?

Simple question, emotionally draining problem. A dining table that holds a lot of sentimental value and has been with me for a long time was recently disassembled because I was moving to a new city. After the moving process, I noticed one of its legs went missing. I have no idea where it went, but the fact that only one of the four legs is missing is driving me crazy. I hope this is the right place and flair to ask, but I'm uncertain about the style of the table's legs. Are they two-sided tapered, four-sided tapered, or perhaps neither? Moved into my new house. Ordered furniture from Ashley Furniture. It did deliver in a few days and came in very good shape. I love it! However, I did white glove delivery and they f’d up multiple of my walls. One of them has a huge chunk missing. Are they not trained for this? Isn’t this their jobs? I’m very angry. Will be filing a complaint and will keep you guys updated on the outcome! Just wanted to make y’all aware!!!

Any good furniture stores near by? We always looked at Ashley or Rooms to Go. I want something that’s a little less commercialized but is good on quality and won’t break the bank. Also, any place close by where I can check window treatments (like shutters, shades, etc) here? Thank you.

My question - Has basic quality furniture always felt expensive or are we feeling the heat more in this economy? Look, I get it. No one buys brand new furniture on day 1 and the idea of high cost and low cost is subjective and depends on priorities. We went to Ashley’s furniture this morning, it’s on sale for 599$, previously 999$ so we got it with their “5 year warranty” because we have a feral toddler around. We wanted a small sectional for our new apartment this coming 24th.
