I went into a store, and after trying several mattresses, telling the sales person constantly that I wanted something very firm, I finally found one that felt just right. The mattress they delivered is like a marshmallow, not even close to firm. I contacted them, they sent someone out to look at it and he said it’s just fine. There’s no way to prove that what I received was not what I ordered because there’s no model number on a mattress so I’m stuck with it. My back‘s been hurting every day since I got it.

I love the look ( the darker colour ), price and size - I just read horror stories about Ashley furniture. Saying that- we are two people with one 35lb dog. My hope is for a 5 year couch at least ( realistic with a dog and a spouse at 200lbs). Deinfluence me! Is this a terrible choice given my situation? After initially placing an order (that I can refund in the next month) on a Sectional we sat on in an Ashley store, I went into the rabbit hole of sofas, good stores, bad stores, foam density, etc... The overwhelming response is that Ashley's makes furniture for the showroom, not to last. I asked the same person who sold us the sectional what the foam density is, and they replied 2.0. I made a post a few days ago about how I bought two of the same mattress because it's labeled differently in a furniture store than it is on the purple website. Originally I liked the purple restore soft in the store because it felt supportive yet soft enough for my pressure pain.
