LA Fitness Locations

Hey all—looking to meet some more people on the NW side (Logan Square area). I’ve got a 4-year-old and realized a lot of my friends have moved out of the city over the past few years, so trying to be a bit more intentional about getting out and connecting. **First PT job at LA Fitness — is this normal?** Hey everyone, I just started my first personal training job at LA Fitness and I'm curious about your experiences getting clients. We have a dedicated sales team responsible for bringing trainers clients, but my manager is also training me to go after my own leads — phone calls, floor pulls, giving out free sessions, then forwarding those clients to the sales team to close. The catch: all of that prospecting work is unpaid. I only get paid $15 when I'm actually conducting a free training session, not for the time spent acquiring them. Still looking for a trans-accepting gym in Phoenix! All I want is to be able to work out, shower, sauna (I don't mind being covered with a towel), and leave. I am in Berwyn and have a LA fitness membership. I just started working out. Anxiety and depression issues and I got very overweight. I see a personal trainer 3x week and work out for atleast a hour on off days. I have a car 420 friendly. Lately I haven’t been very motivated going to the gym. A workout buddy would be great. We don’t have to workout together but making plans to meet someone at the gym would be great for motivation. Let meet up for coffee!

Not a hot take but I just came to the realization that the sisters change their styles based on where they go. It’s common sense obviously, but with these insane LA fits it seemed like that’s all they wore. When in fact, they were just in LA a lot. In the Sweden/denmark video they were wearing somewhat of normal clothing, now in Greece again, they’re wearing normal clothing, all their videos in Canada include them wearing just hoodies and sweatpants or a normal top and some sweats. It makes sense to dress for a certain area, LA is known for having a lot of “fashion” sense and extravagant/messy fits. I am a current member who was given a gift card for LA Fitness. There is nowhere in the mobile app to add a gift card as a payment method. I was told by my club to go to the website and use it there. The website will not accept my username and password, no matter how many times I reset it. I opened up a support ticket for the website and I got pointed back to my local club. This cycle has repeated now for 2 weeks. Before I waste anymore time on this, has anyone successfully paid a membership with a gift card? I have a feeling I’m going through all this frustration and there will still only be credit card/checking account options for me to pay my membership.

Go to my local LA fitness in the evening for my workout and getting into the locker room I see a dude with his head in the sink blowing snot rockets from his nose into the sink that everyone else uses to wash hands. Not into a paper towel like a normal person just blasting boogers in the bowl. Where do these people come from? What do they do at home? Use a tissue or paper towel. And if you shower or sauna or steam, use a towel not a million paper towels to dry off!! Why are people so gross and inconsiderate?

Hi all, I’m just trying to get a workout in at normal hours after work like around 6 to 9 PM. Any recs for a gym thats not INSANELY CROWDED? Ive already tried La fitness, Lifetime. Im so sick of the crowds and already not comfortable with working out so I prefer as few people as possible.

My dad is retired now and swimming has always been a huge part of his routine and health. I’m trying to help him find a good swimming pool option nearby where he can just go regularly for lap swimming. If Tony genuinely thinks that’s average, he’s been around too many WWE guys, bodybuilders, and fitness influencers where everyone is either shredded year-round or on something. Feels like social media has completely warped physique expectations. Either that or Tony has lowkey developed body dysmorphia from being surrounded by LA fitness culture nonstop.

Thinking about switching gyms and wanted some honest feedback on the saunas at Crunch. I’ve been at LA Fitness for like 10 years, so I’m used to their setup, but my local community gym has gotten pretty chaotic and I’m debating between Crunch and going back to LA. For those who use Crunch, are the saunas actually solid? Clean? Hot enough? Usually crowded? A good sauna is honestly a decent factor for me after lifting 😂

2015-2026 - closed as of 2pm today. The corporate overlords at Fitness International, LLC, who couldn't care less about Whittier, have decided to shutdown a community amenity because they decided they need to pillage even more money from us. They will be giving the place a landlord special and reopening it in short order under their new influencer-native brand "Club Studio" where monthly membership prices will be raised 109% to $134, mirror-selfies for IG will be encouraged, and $15 smoothies and acai bowls will be on deck. Hopefully those that loved and depended on the place can find a good replacement.
