Did a 2D1N trip to Dingalan, Aurora booked through Clara Galaera for ₱3100 (₱500 deposit). It was a pretty packed trip with a mix of hiking, swimming, and just hanging out by the beach. We met at MOA or Greenfield at 12:30am, then took a van for about 4.5 hours. We arrived early morning and stopped for breakfast around 5–6am. Bought these vans full cabs (vulcanized construction) at a thrift store few months ago. one day after a walk the upper partially detached from the sole. The midsole also fell out (2nd pic). I wonder what is the best method to fixing them? Can a shoe cobbler fix this major of a separation? I do have a little experience patching up skate shoes so I might tackle these myself. Would spreading a ton of contact glue in the separation and clamping it down with f-camps (3rd pic) with a shoe block inside( 4th pic) work? Other than this issue, the shoe is in great condition.

Sooo I accidentally ordered the blackout pair thinking they were the camo pair (my first ever participation in a shoe drop😅) and they were shipped to a vans store. I’ve already called the store asking if they could cancel it for me, they could not and told me to call customer service. Customer service told me I have to pick up order first to initiate a return. Vans policy says they hold STS orders up to 10 days. So should I wait the 10 days or pick it up??? 3 days have already passed and I’ve got no email saying they were going to cancel it. I haven’t worn vans in many years. I was suggested to get them for lifting at the gym. I’m lifting light like 15-30 pounds nothing crazy. I’m a runner. I wear size 9 running shoes and I got a 9 in vans but they seem a little big. When u try them on in the store they’re alarmed together so u can’t walk around in them. I got the regular classic slip ons and I have a thumb worth of toe space. They’re not falling off my feet. I have used these at the gym with no problems. I also got the stacked tall classic slipons but those my heel is slipping out of them. I bought some heel cushion things from Amazon which seemed to help a little with thick socks. As a child my nickname was "floppy boy" because I would run into walls, fall, spill things, break things in stores, etc. Now as an adult, I would say I'm still fairly clumsy. But I wouldn't say I'm uncoordinated.
