Ok without a huge tangent i’ll just put it quick. Seafood and meat in my store are connected-we have one sink for both departments. We use each others equipment and staff. I usually don’t mind, at some point in the day meat will say we have no coverage from __-__ and one of us can do that. However—seafood already being understaffed spends their time working meat. I’m a team player, I really don’t mind helping but I will say it should be a pay increase. Times of the day myself or coworkers are left to manage both meat and seafood. This has crossed the line from “annoying” to **outright unethica**l, and I want to know how widespread this actually is. Multiple times now, I’ve ordered and **paid full price for brand-new items** on Amazon — clearly advertised as *new* — only to open the box and find **used products**. I am working as a sysadmin intern in a university. They have a site for professors to upload their recorded lectures and notes and for students to access them. It used aws s3 bucket to store the data. There are many pcs that are outdated for general use with i3-7th gen and almost 50, 1tb hdd. I had setup a ubuntu microcloud's microceph, and set and integrated it with the site for proof of concept. I recently had a negative encounter at a department store lingerie section when I was looking for a strapless bra. I had just measured myself again and used the ABTF calculator, so I was armed with information about what size I needed. Unfortunately, when I asked about their sizing availability, they scoffed and told me there was no way I was a 32L (32HH). It was annoying, but not surprising.
