Throwaway because my main is toooo trackable. The store use to be clean. Typically never too much trash or empty uboats/pallets blocking ways, if there was it was addressed fairly quickly and moved. Hey, So, I work in a nursing home right now and although I like the job and the sense of satisfaction i get from helping the residents, I feel overworked and underpaid. I’m looking to move into retail, I just applied for a job at a upscale department store. I love fashion and beauty and I am knowledgeable in both. This is where the limiting beliefs come in as, my resume lacks retail experience as I’ve only worked in the caring profession. I want this job and have visualized myself working behind the counter. Needed a new lid for my Rambler 591ml travel mug that I received as a gift. Went to the store, saw the lid I needed, checked the bottom, said it was compatible with the 591ml size, perfect. Buy it, next morning fill my cup with coffee, take the new one out of the package, doesnt fit. Well the old one is threaded, and the new one is not threaded. As I took it out I noticed the new one is not threaded but I thought they'd figured out how to get the silicone gasket to fit in one of the smooth parts where there isnt threading or something. My hours have been cut and they’ve only been scheduling me Saturdays and Sundays the past two ish months. When I brought it up to my ETL they said my availability during the week was too little (4 hours every weekday - which has been the same for the the past 3 years) and if they schedule me those days, then they’d have to give someone two days of short shifts instead of one long shift on one day - so my hours have been cut.
