I’m 53 and I have hooded eyes. I’ve watched at least 39 videos on applying eyeliner, and I just can’t get the hang of it. I like heavier liner but wings just do not look good on me. I want a refresher for how to do going out makeup and every day makeup. Do any of the makeup counters at the department stores really help with this? I’m willing to pay and buy products. I know Mac does it, but I feel I might be too old for Mac- although I do look 10 years younger than I am. Does anyone have any recommendations where I can go get eye makeup makeover and learn to go myself? If they even do that anymore? Thank in advance!

Hi there i had been scheduled to work on new year's eve as lead department manager. Nobody communicated to me that i would be alone on the night shift as normally nobody is supposed to be left in the store alone. There should always be someone for their help. Last year i also covered the new year's eve shift and that time there was an associate with me. But this time neither my assistant manager informed me that i would be alone. I have never worked alone before and i am in a constant state of anxiety as i am alone in store.

According to a source closely monitoring the Macy's footprint situation, 42 Stores (including furniture galleries) will be announced for closing on Thursday, January 8, 2026. These will close by end of March. Moreover, 50-75 more stores will be remodeled in addition to the R125. These are NN75. Change will happen, but what do you think will change over the next five years? Will the retail business swing back towards more focus on staff to bring back customers? Will online be elevated to compete with Target/WalMart/Amazon? Will we ever get fine jewelry back? Maybe remodel the stores and update the layouts? Will department leads and full time associates make a comeback? Or, will they go out of business?

I volunteer at a very small local thrift store in my college town. If we get any clothes with stains we cannot superficially clean with a Clorox wipe or damp towel we redonate them to another charity which I presume is a rag house. However we tend to loose a lot of really nice clothes to staining this way. Is there a better quick way to handle/diagnose small to medium stains? This is especially hard for me since in the men's clothing department I don't get as much to begin with and much of it is stained.

Around 1989-1990 was the mall's peak period, and many people knew it was an illegally constructed building. My mom received a phone call from a person claiming to be Rogers' loyalty department (telecommunications company here in Canada) that she's gotten a voucher which would reimburse her the price of a brand new phone. She doesn't question this and went out and bought a brand new S25 from an actual Rogers store (not a scam I've been there myself). She then calls the person back and provides them with the IMEI number and no other information, from what she's told me. So the scammer has the IMEI number of a phone that's never been turned on, as well as my mother's phone number. What might happen as a result of this? Are her accounts safe?
