Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Macys Latest Community Discussions About Macy's[SF] On the Predatory Nature of Petting-Zoo Mini-Horses40m ago“What a perfect day for a visit to the farm!” Brian Dudely announced to his family as he steered the minivan containing his wife and three children into a gravel parking lot. He was right, that happened sometimes, it was a perfect day for a visit to the idyllic tourist farm. A brilliant blue sky, a crisp breeze that made it just cold enough to need a jacket. The kids followed a sign with cartoonish animals painted on it to a large, fenced area; it was what they were here for. Aquaponic strawberries? Nope. Organic compost? Nah. They were here to feed goats. Two quarters got an adult handful or two kid handfuls of pellets that the goats went crazy for. Do you know who also likes pellets... Xocolate Bar owner's mom needs kidney donor1h agoI'm a new customer to the Oakland & Berkeley shops, and received this email today. I don't know any of the people mentioned, but I do know what it's like to watch a family member fight for a transplant. I'm not able to donate a kidney myself, but maybe this will reach someone who can. Here's the link mentioned in the email: [https://nkr.org/EDM533](https://nkr.org/EDM533) Looking for input on first receiver purchase2h agoHello all and TIA, I am in the market for my first AVR. I have browsed through the buying guide and been searching for deals on local fb market, craigslist, Best Buy open box, a4l, adorama, and others. I would really like to keep this purchase under $450 as originally I was looking in the $300-$350 range and decided I would be okay in stretching that budget up a bit if it got me worthwhile features and some future-proofing. Came across this Denon S770H on adorama for $416 which seems like a good price. https://www.adorama.com/used-denon-avr-s770h-75w-72-channel-8k-network-av-receiver-with-heos-black/p/auadeavrs770 Also this Onkyo TX-NR6050 (which I understand is basically the Costco ... Opening possibilities one compact at a time2h agoMy hands shake slightly as I unlatch the small case for the first time. Inside, neat rows of eyeshadows stare back at me in shades I have only admired on other people. Bronzes, roses, deep plums, champagne shimmer. The brushes nestle in their designated slots like tiny tools of transformation. I am twenty six years old and just now learning how to do makeup properly. Growing up, my mother was the natural beauty type who splashed water on her face and called it a morning routine. I never learned about primer or setting spray or the difference between cream and powder products. I just knew that other women seemed to possess some secret knowledge that made them look polished and put tog... Major win against scalpers in my area.2h ago(TLDR at the end) So about 6 weeks ago I was hired on as a seasonal position at a very big warehouse store in my area that occasionally carries pokemon cards. 3 days ago on Monday, i was helping folding clothing in the clothing department of the store where I overheard one of the overnight workers mention the newest sets of pokemon cards. Now, I usually keep to myself and avoid people at work but I'll take any chance to talk pokemon. So I walk up to the guy and strike up a conversation about cards and what types we collect and as we're hitting it off the overnight manager walks over and asks "Are yall walking about pokemon?" Me and the coworker said yea and I was jus... Two months ago, I placed an order with a store called Niche Gallery, paying 1500 dirham. Very simple: I pay money - they send item - everyone happy. But instead, I apparently unlocked a “side quest” called: “Waiting Simulator 2024: Dubai Edition” No item. No refund. No updates. Only my own optimism slowly dying every week. I contacted them several times - silence. I opened a case with Consumer Rights UAE - they called me twice, promised to “sort it out,” and then also disappeared. At this point I’m being ghosted by both the store and the consumer rights department. Even Tinder rejection feel... Pine Shaker Table, Hand Tools4h agoMy dive into hand tools began in June when I started by tuning up an heirloom department-store No. 4 to plane down a door that had swelled with the summer humidity. Six months later I've got a set of Harbor Freight chisels, a flea market Stanley No. 5, a pair of Spear & Jackson saws and a handful of shop made tools and jigs. There's definitely a few flaws on this little pine table. The top was the largest board I've ever tried to flatten and smooth, and these are some of the first mortise and tenon joints I've cut. I expect the dings and dents accumulated over time will render most of my mistakes inconsequential. I love Shaker furniture and vernacular furniture... I have ~200 Badge Wallets/holders - what the heck do I do with them?4h agoThis is kind of an odd one, but I recently purchased some lots at an auction of a gun store / police equipment store that was closing. I bought a big box of tactical gear - MOLLE pouches and such - and didn't realize that it came with a box of around 200 badge wallets of various styles - hidden badge wallets, bi-folds, ones that let you hold various sizes of ID cards, ones that look like regular wallets but have a space for a badge, etc. They're very nice leather wallets that the store was selling for $20-35 each depending on the particular model. But of course, they have a badge cutout that is the shape of the local State Police Department - a shape and size that's not use... “Ghost malls”, Knight Frank, and the urban design angle4h agoI first heard about the latest “ghost malls” data in today’s The Daily Brief episode / post: “Why are so many malls in India so empty?” based on Knight Frank’s Think India Think Retail report. Very short recap of what they highlighted: 1. Knight Frank mapped India’s organised retail: 365 working malls + high streets + airport and hotel retail across 32 cities. 2. Out of this, they identify a chunk of mall stock as “ghost malls” – centres at least 3 years old with > 40% vacancy, adding up to \~15.5 million sq ft. 3. A smaller subset (\~4.8 million sq ft across 15 malls) is considered genuinely “revivable” with better design, tenant mix, and management. The ... 3 months (quasi) sober, and I feel I've lost it.4h agoBack in September I had that message from my dad, which he said he didn't want me to drink anymore. He said that I have to fight these demons and that he loves me (I think it's fake, since I never had him express concern for my well being before). Thing is since he's come back from his camping trip (the one where he sent me his messages before departing) he's been at home 24/7 because he got injured during his trip and I had to take care of him for a while (which if I'm being honest, I didn't want to, considered he'd never have done it if I was in his situation, it'd have been someone else). I realized that since I stopped drinking and smoking weed, j... I need help with a Use case using Langgraph with Langmem for memory management.4h agoSo we have a organizational api with us already built in. when asked the right questions related to the organizational transactions , and policies and some company related data it will answer it properly. But we wanted to build a wrapper kinda flow where in say user 1 asks : Give me the revenue for 2021 for some xyz department. and next as a follow up he asks for 2022 now this follow up is not a complete question. So what we decided was we'll use a Langgraph postgres store and checkpointers and all and retreive the previous messages. we have a workflow somewhat like.. graph.add\_edge("fetch\_memory" , "decision\_node") graph.add\_conditional\_edge("d... Need advice5h agoThere's an associate I work with that's constantly overstepping his boundaries. He tries to boss myself and other employees around like he's some kind of supervisor and he's not at all. The worst part is he's always interrupting me and other cashiers when we're already in the middle of an interaction or transaction with a customer and it always causes some kind of escalated issue. Today I was doing a return for some tools that have a lifetime warranty (if you know, you know). The SD was backed up and I was by myself. I was searching for SKUs on the computer to complete the RTV return when he interrupted me and broke the line with a customer carrying in a propa... Best Mini Washing Machine5h agoHi! Thank you in advance! What’d you buy and what’d you pass up this week?5h agoI thought it’d be fun to go over what fragrance we found out in the shops or the wild or marketplace that we decided to buy and what we found and thought about buying but ultimately ended up passing up on. Modern Pocket Watch Style5h agoAnyone remember the name of or even remember the watches that had like a belt clip and clipped on the belt loop of jeans/pants and would hang freely? They were a thing like early 2000’s for a minute I think I had like a fossil one. Department stores sold them and typically they were almost just fashion pieces. i think it could have been used for like backpacks too maybe but it wasn’t like a carabiner it looked dressier then that I'm a certified sweet potato6h agoğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
