I just wasted hours of my time shopping online for Cyber Monday sales. I go to checkout and 9 of the 10 items get pulled out of my cart. I called customer service and the items are available, they just won't ship them here. Period. These are not heavy or bulky items. Placemats, sheets, sandals, and silverware (basic forks/knives/spoons set) won't ship. They don't mention anywhere when going to the item's pages they don't ship. Throwaway account to protect my job. At least for now. I am a produce manager at a loblaw affiliated store in Ontario. Its a daily struggle trying to keep up with all the work we have to do. Staff shortages, part time staff that doesn't really care etc. I rarely leave on time on any given day, often skipping breaks and lunches to try to get everything done. Culling, singage, cleaning, orders, stocking, setting up displays, it's all I can can do to try and keep up while ensuring my staff are filling and rotating stock as they should. Hey i'm sorry to invade yalls space, I just feel like I'm going crazy here. Last night apparently somebody stole my card info, and placed two ~$350 orders on Walmart.ca. So obviously I don't have an order number or any info about it. All I have is the prices and my card number. I called my credit card company and declared them fraudulent, they told me I'm good to go and they're looking into it. I've been an associate at Safeway for the past 4 years. Recently I found a new job that I'm very excited about; the only problem is the new job wants me to start as soon as possible, and so my two week's notice was more like 12 days. My store director took issue with this- she said she'd put a black mark on my employee record and that I would be ineligible for rehire. Just want to know how I compare to others because I'm worried I'm too slow. In 8 hours I can usually work 1 or 2 boards of gm and dress for 2 hours (on Sundays it takes ages and it's a medium store, on department alone) What do you all do? My Leica M2 was stolen from my backpack in San Francisco on November 16, 2025. I called the Leica SF store and another half dozen camera shops in the Bay Area and left my name and the serial numbers. I also filed an incident report with the San Francisco Police Department and that case number is 256127991.
