Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Macys Latest Community Discussions About Macy'sExtra! Extra! 1/18, Jess Craven's Weekly Good News1h agoHi, all, and happy Sunday! Would you believe it? It was an unimaginably bad week, yet there were so many items for this good news edition that I almost ran out of space. It’s more proof that no week is so awful that some smattering of positive news doesn’t also occur. It is incumbent upon us to look for such news—not in order to ignore the awful things that are happening, but to mitigate and help us bear them. Please, then, take a quiet fifteen minutes to slowly read and savor each victory below. Each one involved one or many people just like you—people who said not “there is nothing to be done!'“ but, instead, “how can we make this right?” and then got to work. Peopl... Extra! Can we afford to start our family1h agoMy wife (23) and I (24) are thinking about starting our family in the next year but we want to make sure we are financially ready. I have always been an agressive saver. At 12 I started babysitting, housesitting and walking dogs. I saved pretty much all that I made and by the time I turned 18 I had 10k in savings (all invested, most in a minor Roth IRA). In the middle of my senior year (when school went online because of COVID) I started working full-time at a grocery store. I’ve been working full time for the same company every sense. I am now a member of store leadership making about 75k a year. I met my wife a little over 4 years ago. She worked at the same grocery store as I do. We ... Frontier/Comcast **** - PLEASE help1h ago**INTRO/TLDR** I'm looking to hear from someone from Comcast and Frontier to help guide me and resolve a 6-week long hellish fiasco with activation and number porting. I'm desperate for help on this and feel like I'm stuck between the two with no one really taking any serious interest in fixing this for me. This is for a residential account for property located in Connecticut along the shoreline. My goal was to switch carriers from Frontier to Comcast for Internet, cable TV, and landline telephone services. I wanted to port my old phone number which I’ve had for 40 years. There are many problems here, most of which pertain to number porting. I believe someone needs to take... Where to shop IRL for formal gowns/MOB dresses?1h agoHi hotties! I’m looking for recs for stores that carry formal gowns- we’re on the hunt for a Mother of the Bride dress for my mom for my black tie wedding this year. We’ve already gone to some department stores and there just wasn’t a ton of inventory. Thank you in advance! Here’s a list of everyone who lived at 301 E 66th St. according to the US Phonebook2h agoPhone numbers linked to 13 apartments at 301 E 66th St., New York, NY, an apartment complex owned by Mark Epstein, are listed in Epstein’s little black book. Several of Epstein’s friends and associates were housed there over the years, including an infamous “apartment for models” which most likely belonged to French model scout and paedophile/rapist, Jean-Luc Brunel. I’ve compiled a list of everyone living in these 13 apartments from the late 1990s up until Epstein’s death. Before each name is the date the phone book recorded them living at that location. APARTMENT 8D March 1997: **Daniel and Lisa Elsberry (nee Parker)** (b. Aug 1957 and Aug 1959) — Daniel is a senior managi... Stores closing sales2h agoI have read that there are several Macy’s stores closing. Does anyone have an idea which locations or where I can find them. I’m trying to find which dates the sales begin, about 10 years ago they closed one in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, and I cannot believe the deals that I found. Fingers crossed that there’s one next to or at least semi-close to where I live. Does anyone know, or know how I can find out? Thank you in advance for your time and help, I really do appreciate it! I finally got one of my grail items today for a good price!2h agoI was waiting for a retail store to fulfill a pick up order which takes about two hours usually so while I was out and about, I stopped in the comic book shop that wasn’t too far from the department store and found this guy and was over the moon dude knocked 15 bucks off for me after us having a normal friendly convo I mentioned I just got out of the hospital about a day and a half ago. They have the others and I want to pick all the ones I want up so I intend to soon. Reporting Brooklyn Cross Store2h agoFor those who want to report the Brooklyn Bandai Store please use this link https://sec.carddass.com/en/contact/ but be warned they can’t help directly and will “Direct any additional information to the dept in charge”. I attached a photo of their response to me Left Behind parts 1-32h agoEntry 1. Let me start by saying that I have never been a very religious man. I was raised catholic but lost interest in organized religion when I was in my late teens. Since then, I've been... Agnostic/Christian adjacent. I like the idea of Christianity, and I do believe something more happens after death. But I also think that we as humans, aren't capable of comprehending what it is that comes after. I live my life around basic morals, not an organized doctrine. I always believed that was good enough, now I'm not so sure. I got to work this morning and had a cup of coffee while I went over the days schedule. I work in manufacturing. I use lots of heavy equipm... Sense of smell3h agoI have never in my whole life had such a strong sense of smell that I could smell whether or not someone had just eaten or if there was just fruit in the room before but this is awful. I've gone from moderately nose blind to smelling the slightest shift in the force of the room. I smelled what my husband was eating in the kitchen, 40 feet away, and could tell exactly when he took a bite of melon. I get sick at the grocery store when we go anywhere near the meat department at winco where the fresh fish are usually out. I can't feed the cats because it smells awful now. I gotta know how long this is going to last because my firstborn is almost 8 and I didn't have this strong o... Sampler packs?3h agoIm just getting into colognes, I got a sampler from The Black Stuff, lots of woodsy/masculine kind of smells but they're essential oils and I feel like they barely last at all. I see this Fulton and Roark company has a giant sampler pack for not too expensive but I see really mixed things about them. Any other suggestions? I'd like variety because I really don't know what I'm looking for. A lot of department store colognes are really strong/synthetic to me too and literally make me dizzy but I told to like things that smell natural like trees and herbs and things. January Backpacking Debrief3h agoI posted a proposed itinerary about a month ago. Y'all offered some great advice. I wanted to provide a little debrief on the trip. **Day 1 - Midland to Chisos Basin Campground:** This was about a 4 hour trip. Midland Airport is pretty small--rental car acquisition was quick and easy. Odessa has a Bass Pro Shops where we bought fuel for the stove and bear spray. 4 hour drive to Chisos Basin Campground. We stopped for food and water in Ft. Stockton. Last real town before the park. Arrived after dark. Approximately 30\* and windy. Night was 30\* and breezy. **Day 2 - 1/2 Backpacking:** Moved our vehicle to parking lot just outside Visitor's Center. Started hike from... King Of Prussia Mall Service Elevator Controversy3h agoFor a long time, there has been a debate if the King of Prussia mall north plaza service elevator belonged to the old J.C.Penny that used to occupy the space until 1993, when it was pretty much gutted. It doesn’t quite match the other 1990s Schindler/MEI service elevators, and it resembles more of a department store elevator. It now has Epco like the other service elevators have. The PA Elevator records list it as a 1993 Schindler with MEI, but I think it dates back to the J.C.Penny for a few reasons. 1. The outer doors look old, 2. In a similar scenario, when the E.J. Korvette building was demolished, they kept the freight and used it for a receiving area, modernizing it. 3. Many people h... JJJ shopping in London3h agoFYI, Harrods is the famous department store in London 😏 A little pick me up3h agoI’m so happy with my small purchase this weekend! Fresh Musk reminds me so much of Philosophy’s Pure or Amazing Grace and the Always Fleur reminds me of walking into the fragrance department of a Macy’s or smelling the perfume samples in magazines. We took advantage of the buy two, get one free body care items. I chose these two scents and my daughter picked Salted Shorelines. What I think the Peculiars will be doing after the events of DoDA3h ago**Jacob–** begins studying and training to make soul jars. Without hollows or access to the Library, his peculiarity is just making soup jars, really, so he would probably be interested in exploring that. Later gets the idea to entrepreneur a chain of looped convenience stores that sell things like bonemender dust and updated maps of days. Not wanting to be like his annoying rich uncles, he gives a majority of profits to help rebuild Peculiardom. **Emma–** Peculiardom is so ingrained in her identity that she could never do anything outside it. Definitely gets therapy because... yeah she really needs it. Gets a job professionally working for the Department of Phono- and Photography and t... X-ray inspection equipment – the “microscope” for industrial castings3h agohttps://preview.redd.it/wwb7ntycf7eg1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7fa2610a38842674a2b90a238990e0b0521520fe The foundry industry is a vital foundational industry in my country. With increasing demands for safety, environmental protection, labor costs, and customer needs, improving forging production efficiency, product quality, reducing energy consumption, and minimizing waste have never been more urgent. Due to the complexity of the casting process, inadequate raw material control, imperfect production processes, and unreasonable mold design, various defects can occur in castings during production and operation. Common defects include gaps, bubbles/porosi... State of the City Event4h agoSo, back on Tuesday I went to the State of the City event. It was at the monthly KDA meeting at the Governor's Gun Club. Seeing all the medium sized businesses in the city get together was a bit neat. The Mayor said that it would be his second to last one of these he gives, as he won't be running for reelection. He's thinking about legacy. He highlighted the new Public Service Building, the Smith-Gilbert Gardens renovations, and the Amphitheater. The 2026 concert line up wasn't available at the time of the speech, but should be finalized in a week or two. He wanted to focus on the activations of Main Street like the new game days and drone show along with long running p... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
