Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Macys Latest Community Discussions About Macy'sMy Top 25 Films as of December 25, 25'3h agoI grew up on movies. Wherever I went, I needed there to be a VHS or DVD player so I could disappear into whatever I was watching. As a kid who often felt lost, films became the place I went to understand the world — even when the stories were far beyond my age or emotional depth. Budget Video, the tiny rental store in my hometown, was my refuge. I tore through horror, action, and eventually the dramas that taught me how people think, why they hurt, and what they hope for. Movies shaped my worldview long before I had the language for it. Movies can change lives and the world! I arrived on time. I stood there waiting patiently while no one would give me the time of day. After about 10 minutes I got a pop up saying the order was ready for pick up. I politely asked if the order was ready. They said no. I simply said please don’t mark it ready if it isn’t because I will get s contract violation for being late. I said I have received a contract violation for McDonalds in the past under the same circumstances. I was told to “Please learn some patience.” I said ok I will unassign and left. As I was sitting in the parking lot talking to DD customer service an unhoused person comes out with the bag and comes to my car windo... If you still have plans to acquire an Apple device this year, don't miss out on the last wave of discounts!4h agoHope I'm not too late in posting this lol the best Apple deals on the days after Christmas are typically found at major retailers, not directly from Apple. The key is to start looking early, as many sales now begin before December 26th. Many retailers launch their "Boxing Week" sales online in the days leading up to and on Christmas Day itself. This means you can find great deals from the comfort of your home. Since these popular discounts can sell out quickly, checking early gives you the best chance. For genuine discounts on Apple products, your main targets should be large electronics and department stores. For example in the U.S., the primary retailers to watch are: 1.... Merry Christmas to Me Xmas eve Mail Drop so glad I went wit these .5h agoI was so on the fence about purchasing these Fillmore’s being a department store vans but I have to tell you I’m glad I pulled the trigger and chose leaves. They feel good and they look good and I’m happy and that’s what matters brand new with the box. What to do when an American visits their family in Korea5h agoI have family in Korea so I come here once or twice a year. I live near Sungnam/Jungja. We often go to department stores, restaurants, watch movies, and see shows. In the summer, we travel out of Seoul, but not sure what to do this time of the year. Any recs for new adventures? I live in Denver and use to outdoor adventures. I feel very city-bound and claustrophobic in Korea. I wouldn't want to do any outdoorsy things with my parents especially in the cold. Question On The Old Orchard And Oak Brook Macy's5h agoI know both were built by Marshall Fields. The OO store in 56, or at least I'm assuming is original to the shopping center and OB in 62. The 2 freight elevators are built apart, at the OO Macy's one on the east side and the other on the west while OB have their 2 freights together. Any reason why they were built differently? Loose ideas for Thu, Dec 255h agoFor as much as people love rollercoasters you'd think there'd be a lot more of 'em around. All I see in every direction are dry cleaners and pizza joints. You'd think that people are just throwing pizza on their nice clothes all day. If you want to throw pizza on your nice clothes, you could do *that* way better on a rollercoaster. Just about everything is wrong in this statement: *Practice random acts of kindness.* Acts? Acts! What is this, an improv class? I'm not acting, it's *just* kindness, *******. And practice, no it's the real deal. This is real life. I'm actually being kind right now, for real. And random? Well, no, I'm only going to be ... New hire questions.6h agoWhen I get inside the store, I'm ready to work. I was hired in lawn and garden. The first 8hr shift I had, I finished up a couple of videos in HR. But at the end of the shift, I was struggling to find someone to give me some direction. All I was doing was helping customers until I came across a fellow associate on his way out the door. So I double checked with him, we just clock out when it's time to go? No reporting to anyone or anything? When I clock in tomorrow, do I just go to my department and stand around until I get some direction? Does anyone get PTSD on Christmas with the gifts you receive?6h agoI’m just curious if anyone else feels the PTSD during Christmas time. The beginning of December I get an anxious feeling of dread as I know my mom is going to gift us a lot of clothing. She is a clothing shopaholic and spends an absurd amount of money on clothing. We had one year the biggest box you’d ever seen and i kid you not it was a big box of just socks ranging from the 3 pair to 6 pairs. Husband and I got like 8-10 packs of these. We also get a lot of shirts, pants, jackets, mittens you name it. She stopped asking for lists of things we actually want (usually body kits, cologne, practical items we actually would use) and usually it’s just clothes with maybe a candle, survival th... This is my mom’s electric coffee percolator. I’ve found a great location, but my budget is very limited, so I’m trying to keep the setup as simple as possible. The idea is to use a commissary kitchen for any prep or frying and then bring the food to the storefront. At the actual location, it would mostly be assembly and serving, not full cooking. The food wouldn’t be pre-packaged, but it also wouldn’t really require cooking on site (more like chaat/snacks, cold items, reheated items, etc.). The store owner has already been kind enough to install a mop sink, a 3-compartment sink, and proper plumbing, and I’ll also be adding re... Be careful at Picolt supermarket. Went back to Other lot. I grabbed one lot. Staff told the manager and the manager told me he would taint food for hours. Called the health department. I reported it but they told me to call back this morning. I went back to check this morning. If you happened to buy Duke’s mayo in the last few days. Be careful. If you open it call the health department to report it. It’s the Wild reduced port. Be safe out there. Lots 22 and 12 both are me: Went back to the store this morning. Manager who made promise was talking up the broken promise/lie. Upper boss made manager go immediately start. sa... Opening an assembly-only QSR using a commissary kitchen?7h agoHey everyone, Not sure if this is the correct subreddit, but I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Excavations at Taxila’s Bhir Mound reveal traces of ancient city before 6th century BC7h agoTraces found of narrow streets, residential structures, water wells, areas for storing grain, daily use artefacts [Asif Mehmood](https://tribune.com.pk/author/6784/asif-mehmood)December 23, 2025 The Punjab Department of Archaeology has intensified scientific excavations at the historic Bhir Mound in Taxila, uncovering evidence of a well-organised ancient civilisation dating to before the 6th century BC. Officials said the project aims to scientifically rediscover the earliest city of Taxila and better understand its origins. According to the department, excavations have revealed signs of early urban planning. These include narrow streets, residential structures, water wells, grain storag... Skatepark in closed department store in the UK- could we apply this to Uptown?7h agoIn a city where it is balls hot, every bench has skate-stops on it and skaters are pushed to the outer suburbs, is there the opportunity to create a central indoor, air-conditioned skatepark? We have a huge, disused department store in a primo location in the city, we have teenagers begging for places to hang out, outside of home and we have an olympic winning skating reputation. Any investors in the thread? Coach Jonie 22 in Black ON SALE AT DILLARD'S8h agoI have been dreaming of the perfect black shoulder bag for several years now, but never found one with the perfect shape, size, and versatility for my smaller frame! Missed out when the Coach Luna Shoulder Bag was in stock. I've been eyeing the Coach Jonie 22 in-stores and online for a while and loved the various ways you can wear it (*shoulder bag, crossbody, dumpling style)*! Seems like the perfect day-to-day bag and evenings out! I checked online today because I know Macy's just had a flash sale on the Jonie 22 in Maple that I missed, BUT IT'S **ON SALE RIGHT NOW AT DILLARD'S FOR $221.25** in black! If anyone wants to treat themselves to a Christmas gift! Super excite... I didn’t apply for the internal role. (Part 1)10h agoI didn’t realize it at the time, but that email was the moment my life stopped being ordinary. The alarm went off at 6:30. I didn’t wake up right away. I never do. For a few seconds, I was convinced I could just stay there. That if I didn’t move, the day would not start yet. The ceiling above my bed has a faint crack running from the corner toward the light fixture. I have watched it long enough to know exactly where it fades out. I don’t remember when I noticed it the first time. Just that it has always been there when I needed something to stare at. I hit snooze. When the alarm went off again, that was the one I actually woke up to. Not because it was louder, just bec... Theory that connects West Side Story to Twin Peaks11h agoI'm sure everyone by now knows the connection between Twin Peaks and West Side Story; the fact that Richard Beymer (Benjamin Horne) and Russ Tamblyn (Dr Lawrence Jacoby) were in both works. Now, let's start with Ben Horne. In West Side Story, he plays Tony; the former leader of the Jets gang who now works at the local drugstore. He falls in love with a girl named Maria, whose brother, Bernardo just happens to be a member of the Jets rival gang, the Sharks. This fuels their conflict further and eventually leads to Tony, Riff (Jacoby) and Bernardo all getting killed. Now, Tony is killed in 1961, so we can assume his soul ascended to the black lodge. Remember, everyone we see in the... 30 reasons against EASYFUN11h agoSince the entire EASYFUN platform was entire batshit ****, I decided to write 30 reasons, since that would be a better usage of my time than the puny excuse of a gaming website. 1. Continues the timer even when your game is frozen. 2. Always stays at 99%, if it doesn't say "Oops, something went wrong" beforehand. 3. Even if you get to 100%, there is a queue. 4. Promises 6 hours a day, actually has around 1 hour max. 5. The Mobile controls are useless, and the way to move them around makes it worse. 6. The Guest move for 30 minutes does not work. Always goes up to \~40% before crashing. 7. The Fullscreen mode always flips the game onto its side, never really &qu... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
