As someone who has really dove into the fragrance world this past year, a funny thing happened. I’m a mid 40’s male that finally discovered the world of fragrances outside of your standard department store designer options. I enjoy vanillas scents and had purchased Korres Vanilla Freesia, which I really love but it wasn’t something I was going to wear. A new Team Lead position opened in my department. I interviewed and didn’t get it; someone else did. Before the announcement, I had already applied to the same role at another store, interviewed, and got it. I transfer in two weeks and I’m already off the schedule after that. Out of 14 coworkers, only my manager and one friend know. I get along well with everyone and genuinely like them, but I really dislike attention, goodbyes, or any kind of farewell event. So of course this is how it always starts when you find something out at Walmart, butttt my co worker heard from another co worker that our store manger told her that everyone in my department would have to get number and learn to cashier. Has anyone else heard this? Oh also threatened to cut peoples hours that refused to learn it, which pretty sure you can’t especially with full time.

I am sick of getting yelled at by upper management over customer sign-ups. I am a department lead. So corporate tells at upper store management about low sign-ups and then upper management yells at the department leads to tell us to yell at the cashiers about improving sign-ups. I have five pictures of French landmarks. They are all 3x5 on paper that is 6.5 x 8.5. They are all framed with a sticker on the back of a local fancy department store that closed years ago in Memphis. They seem to me to be tourist souvenirs brought home and framed. And I have to say, what a grueling haul it was. I feel worse for having seen it, except that I finally get to understand all of the amazing commenters here who hilariously (and deservedly) roasted this show over the years and months. Background: I'm a huge SATC fan. I've rewatched it countless times because I adore the character growth, the writing, the story lines, and the overall feel. Even though they were "aspirationally wealthy" (a term I dislike) even for the 1990s, the characters still seemed like real women to me.
