So I move into a new apartment. Get spectrum and do the self install. easy. A few weeks later I get a letter in the mail that I have to verify who I am with ID in store. I call the number on the letter and it’s fraud department. I do what they ask, I show up with proof of residency and my ID. Returned my old (just received) modem and got another one. Self install again. back to normal. Now my service got disconnected again and I am being told by fraud department that I need to verify my ID and address again? What on earth is going on? At this point I could just return my modem and use another service but ****, this is insane.
