so recently it has come to light in my department that an associate (male) was being inappropriate towards a few females including a minor. these girls then told management about the incident but they have done absolutely nothing about it. i also had a similar issue about a year ago where a team lead (female) was inappropriate with me (also female) and nothing was done about this as well and she is still team lead at our store, i was just asked to move departments as she was my team lead. we don’t know what to do at this point as we have also reached out to other members of management and they have just ignored the issue all together. our store is quick to punish the victims in every si...

I've been working retail sales at a, we'll say pretty successful regional liquor chain in Texas for the better part of three years. I have been my store's department lead for about half the time. I do not have a college degree, but I will be starting my WSET Level 3 next month, and wrapping it up in January. I’m 17 and have been working for Hannaford for just over two months. The location I work at might be the most mismanaged store I’ve ever seen. Most of the time nothing seems to be getting done and if anything’s being done it’s at such a slow pace to even notice. I’ve been with Walmart for 8 1/2 years. I’ve split my time between the front end and OGP in that time. I’m currently in OGP now and feeling like my time in the department is up. I used to think consistency in marketing was simply repeating the same slogan everywhere. But in practice, it is way more complex. Teams often create campaigns for different channels and each team adds its own twist. The result is that the customer journey feels fragmented, even though everyone believes they are following the brand guideline. What I have noticed is that the real challenge lies in connecting offline and online touchpoints. For example, a retail promotion in-store can feel disconnected from what the same brand communicates on social media. How do you keep alignment when different departments run fast in their own direction?

I picked up an order yesterday which was a Ralph Lauren hat in the red colorway. I just tried it on right now as I have somewhere to go and don’t like the color on me and would like to exchange it for a black one instead. I have the tags the only thing is i’m ****** and took them off the cap. So I have the cap and the tags (seperate) and the bag the order came in with the receipt. They are not washing hands at a major pizza chain. Something happened, we can’t wash our hands. Instead of keeping the store closed in the interest of public health they opened for profit. This is a one off event, but it’s exceedingly disgusting. I wish to inflict maximum damage to the managers involved. Do I tell the health department, corporate, or both? An online search revealed Georgia has whistleblower protection. Are there other potential legal avenues? Edit: I’m thinking of reporting anonymously from the perspective of a customer who saw something and asked questions or heard something.

My coworkers all know that I am a huge cat lover. Well, one of them sent me a pic saying that their local Lowe’s has a cat. I thought maybe a stray near the front door.. nope! They have a store cat. Okay I’ve looked into the page to see if anyone can answer the question I have and haven’t found it so I’m making a new post. Basically I recently became a Team Lead at a new store. Hi, all. I only go into this because it's important to the end cause, but I run a meat market that has deli and catering satellites. I am directly over the meat side while overseeing the store. Meat department employees report to me, and deli/catering have a lead who also reports to me. For some years, I've been overseeing all of the flow (personnel, inventory, budget, etc) and, with some great coaching, have been able to delegate tasks primarily to whom it fits, while cross training others. I purchased this copy of Green from a department store in Japan. It was about ¥1000, and I am a bit suspicious given the low price and pristine condition.
