I can see it but I can't buy it.....1h agoMy cordless drill died this morning while working on our fence. Home Depot website said their store two miles away had plenty in stock. Got in the truck & headed over. They do indeed have plenty in stock. They're all inside locked cages. There is *one* guy who has the key to the locked cages. He's tied up with a (very) picky customer. I stand there for 15 minutes watching them wander back & forth all over the power tools department, unable to decide which brand of jigsaw to buy. Clearly I'm not going to be getting a cordless drill anytime in the next hour. I tell the only other staffer in the area they just lost a $200 sale because they can't unlo... So sick of everything smelling!1h agoWhy does every single thing I’ve purchased from this site always come drenched in the same exact scent? It’s a mix of cheap department store perfumes and cigarette smoke. I guess that is the general average smell of everything they receive and because it’s all stored in warehouses together it permeates, but I’m so sick of it. Usually after washing or airing out or (at most extreme) hot boxing it with our ozone machine it becomes usable but there are a few items from which it seems to never leave. For those of us with allergies to these things, it really gets old. Does anyone else struggle with this and does anyone have good tips on how to get the smell out especially when these are p... Where can I buy this card holder again?1h agoI went to HK in 2023 and bought this. I went to multiple stand alone Sanrio stores but only found this at the Sanrio section of a department store. My mom is going back to HK and she said she’ll only rebuy for me if I send her places to look. How bad is my resume?1h ago***Tldr-I relocated last September and had to leave my previous job. Since then I’ve updated my resume many times but keep getting rejected from accounting and other roles, so I’m worried my resume may be the issue***. I was wondering if any of you amazing people would be willing to give some feedback on my resume. I relocated to a different city last September due to my brother getting a job transfer. It was a big opportunity for him and he's my roommate so i ended up having to put my 2-weeks notice in and departing with the last company i worked for.. I can not find a job that will hire me. I've changed my resume about 15 times(not exaggerating) and I even edit it to the sp... Authenticity Guarantee strikes again2h agoSure, maybe my boss was TECHNICALLY wrong. But what does “at least 13k” even mean?? Is it 13k or is it more?? The charm that I sold was literally MARKED 14k, and we test all of the items in store through an electric tester AND acid testing if we’re not 100% sure. We had the option to offer a partial refund to the buyer, so I knocked $50 off the price (which made the total less than the gold market value is today) and they declined. Disappointed, but can’t say I’m surprised. However, I truly think the authenticity department needs to work on their consistency or give sellers more detailed feedback. I don’t know. Unesco sites in Iranian city of Isfahan damaged by US-Israel strikes2h agoSeveral Unesco World Heritage sites in Iran, along with other historic landmarks, have been damaged in an intensifying campaign of US-Israeli strikes, threatening some of the nation’s most treasured cultural sites. In the city of Isfahan, local media reported on Monday that the Chehel Sotoun Palace (Forty Columns) and other sites within the 17th-century Naqsh-e-Jahan Square were damaged when a strike hit the provincial governorate building in the Dawlatkhaneh complex, which also dates to the 17th century and lies in the city’s historic centre. Located around a five-hour drive from Tehran, Isfahan is one of the most significant relics of Iranian art and architecture. The Safavid dynasty... Dead Bodies and a 300-year-old Death Bell: What will be found on Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch?3h agoThe reach of the mysteries involving Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch in New Mexico now span several centuries - as new documents reveal that the FBI's Albuquerque office was investigating whether Epstein had a stolen historical artifact that dates back hundreds of years stored on his sprawling NM property. The artifact was a "death bell" that was once housed at the San Jose de Gracia Mission Church in Las Trampas, a village in Northern New Mexico between Santa Fe and Taos. The church was built in 1760 and is considered one of the best examples of Spanish Colonial architecture in the Southwest U.S. It is also a National Historic Landmark. The lore about the missing church ... Manager dating coworker/special treatment3h agoHow would you feel if you worked at a Nordstrom and you knew somebody that works in your department thats dating a manager in the store? Same coworker is being pushed to be a manager and for some reason talks to people worse than the managers talks to the workers. It's to the point where she literally does anything she wants. I'm at the point where I might make a report on her mainly because there's Alot she does and gets away with and nobody seems to say almost anything about. For example how would you feel if you was in the fitting room and the manager in the store came to try on clothes and she goes in the room with him. For that alone I feel I should report. am i wrong: boyfriend wants me to ask permission to turn when driving3h ago**This is a repost sub. Forrelli Marshmallow eggs3h agoFor people who remember Brachs Easter Hunt candy Marshmallow eggs. I purchased these at Roses warehouse department store. They were $1.50 for 10 candy eggs. Each flavor has a different taste. They taste and have the texture very close to . Very very sweet. Issues adding a line3h agoI've been trying to add a voice line for over a week now but there's an issue on my account preventing the new line from activating. I'm on the experience beyond plan which is an individual account. Last week I tried processing the new line in-store (corporate) on two separate occasions without success. Both attempts I ended up signing the EIP on a new phone and was charged taxes on each occasion. Each time after payment was processed, there was an issue activating the line. Tickets were submitted. I never received the new phone on each visit. The store kept it sealed until the issue is resolved. I made multiple attempts since then with customer care and they've been ... How to Firm Up Breasts After Weight Loss?5h ago**After losing weight, you firm up your breasts through targeted chest exercises like push-ups and chest presses, skin-tightening nutrition rich in collagen and protein, consistent hydration, and proper bra support during workouts. Surgery is the only way to fully reverse severe sagging, but natural methods make a real, visible difference for most women.** I've worked with hundreds of women who lost 30, 50, even 100+ pounds and then stood in front of the mirror feeling defeated. The weight was gone, but their breasts looked deflated, saggy, almost like they belonged to someone else. That frustration is valid. I've spent over fifteen years helping clients reshape their bodies after... Just found out about a false accusation against me today, and I’m losing sleep over it.6h agoHey! I apologize for the formatting because I’m in mobile. Please bear with me! P.S. Scroll to the fifth paragraph to get to the point of my post. Just to give some background information, I (29f) am a manager where I work, and I had a two and a half hour 1-on-1 meeting with my boss today. I was informed about possible theft of supplies a couple of weeks ago from him, but didn’t tell me which supplies were missing and who came to him about it. I do inventory every other week, I’ve done it twice since he informed me about this, and both times nothing looked out of the ordinary. No major discrepancies in the inventory. I told him that nothing looked suspicious to me, but that I would ke... Hyvee catering6h agoOkay, so I have to know how other stores run their catering department because there is absolutely no way they expect ONE person to email, take all the catering phone call orders, cook and prep the food for the catering, load the van, deliver, and set up the food, and then expect you to be there for every catering. Is it normal to depend on one or two people to cater an entire wedding? And let me be clear, the second person you have at the wedding would be an aisle online team member, so you have to train while you're trying to serve an entire wedding. I just don't understand - the store I worked at made $500,000 daily, so it was a big store and basically one of the only catering o... We need more uncommon species! Travelogue8h ago# “Lights, Flavors, and Wind: Discovering Macau” ***Written by: Patingo, Hyeona Zhia V.*** Visiting a foreign nation is exciting but also intimidating when you’re doing it for the first time. When you step into a new country, you enter an entirely new world. When I travelled outside my own country, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was definitely looking forward to seeing how people lived differently from the way I did. My excitement and anticipation grew as I took my seat on my flight to Macau, a journey that would give me an enjoyable first experience in a foreign country. https://preview.redd.it/85v26ur3zkog1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&... PowerPoint is for Attention, Word is for Accountability.8h agoPeople always ask if "Amazon style" 6-pagers are taking over. The short answer is: it depends entirely on your team culture. I have worked in massive, 100,000+ employee public corporations, and the reporting pipeline is a specific kind of madness. Here is how the information waterfall actually works in the C-Suite. **1. The Waterfall: From Hand-Notes to Hypotheses** It usually starts with the CEO or an Executive giving a verbal order or scribbling a note on a legal pad. That note is handed to a Department Lead. The Lead hands it to a Mid-Manager. By the time it reaches the Associates or Analysts, it has become a "Message" with no data yet. We are given the "Head ... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
