What would you guys do? Me and my partner adopted 2 cats from a cat cafe. They work with different shelters. The people from the cafe were very kind & gave alot of tips. This started as an anxiety post but I ended up writing about my family. It does help me to put things into words. I'm just tossing words into the ether to make myself feel better. I'm 41 and a father of two boys. The biggest surprise to me is how much I still feel like a kid inside. How I still feel vulnerability and pain. As a kid, all adults seemed so stable and confident to me. I'd always hoped to reach that level of confidence. My dad was extremely hard working and successful, but he was not emotionally available. I'm in need of some advice. My 15-month-old has gone to bed between 7-7:30pm every night for a while now with one 2 hour nap at 12pm. I've heard this is ideal for his age and to make sure that it's consistent. Daylight savings aside, he keeps waking up between 4:30-5am every day. In the past we had tried to keep him up a little later, but he ended up waking up even earlier, so we decided to become consistent. I also read that giving a little protein before bed should help, but nothing has changed. Any advice??
