Hi all! We adopted our rescue pup in July this year. She’s a mix of nine breeds according to embark, all about in equal proportion and she’s about a year old. She’s just under 20 pounds. She was a stray from the southern US and she’s come a long way with some things, but she’s still having trouble in the car and house when she’s startled. She’s never snapped or anything, but she will growl. The most concerning thing is that if my husband walks into the house/room with a tool bag or backpack, she’ll growl and is clearly scared. My Nmom is the type of parent who had children as "investments" and "retirement plans". I’m finishing up my trip today. Booked MGM Grand for ~$350, $250 Edit credit applied and the rest on points at 2 cpp. Edit benefit was $100 dining (tax and tip not eligible). Also got 2x Cirque du Soleil KA tickets for $157 each on two CSRs so $7 net on each and ate at Vanderpump at Paris Hotel. It was great trip, MGM upgraded us to an enormous suite on 21st floor north view (walk in shower was crazy 5x10’ but just one lonely shower head). The TAP Sports Bar had great food for decent prices (for Vegas) like a double patty burger for $23. Cirque was inside hotel and we enjoyed that performance. Mother in law moved in to help with the baby. I imagined my postpartum to be relaxing as it can be. Instead she won’t cook, clean, shop, help pay for groceries, etc. the only thing she wants to do is watch the baby for a little while. I couldn’t get Xfinity modem to work when received. The app wanted me to pay before hooking up a self service. The representative said they started your bill before you received your equipment. It took us almost an hour to get it set up. I have spoken with Xfinity five times in last 6 days. Not one Xfinity associate has been friendly. They cut you off in mid sentence, they don’t pay attention nor listen. Xfinity service will talk back, have a foul mouth and could care less to be helpful. Xfinity self insulation for WiFi you will have to buy your own cable. The last words spoken to me is good luck. I think that Xfinity is a great company. They have great prices and wonderful products. I almost never get angry but I’m so upset right now. SIL brings sick niece over and I don’t find out she’s sick until my toddler niece lets me know on Thanksgiving night that she caught it from her mom. We live 3 hours away from the in-laws and it’s already dark so we can’t just leave. So I went to a corporate pet store today and found a mid-large size parrot that had been in the store since last year. Small cage, nothing but seed in dish, no wood perches, etc. Worst part was food and other store items piled on top of her to the point where I thought the cage was for sale. I wouldn’t ever willingly buy a bird from a pet store as I know it does nothing but support the bird farm they came from, but in this case I’m torn. She was puffed up and didn’t look the best, but that’s hard to gauge from one time seeing them. What are my options?

Hi all! I really need assistance with my cat, she has three days of food I am trying to stretch for her. I recently had a major surgery of removing endometriosis from my lungs and my uterus getting removed.
