The saga of the Eastgate Mall keeps getting juicier and juicier! As many of you know, Hull Property Group (1 of 11 owners on the mall site), who owns the inline portion of the mall sued Kroger (owner of the former Sears property). Kroger wanted to demolish the former Sears and build a new Kroger store on the property. Hull sued Kroger basically because they didnt agree with Krogers plans. Hull, Kroger, as well as three other owners have veto powers on any mall redevelopment unitl March 2030. The courts agreed with Hull, and Kroger has appealed the decision. Even though every store is different from each other, I've always wondered what's it like to work at stores similar to Michael's, Big Lots, Hobby Lobby, etc (including certain mall stores that aren't as busy, when compared to Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, etc)
