I need to replace my glass stove top, it’s cracked and is ancient anyway. I need some pointers for what to look for and how best to proceed. One thing that has puzzled me as I looked at replacements is the edge—my antique stove top has a white border that frames the glass, and that white metal is basically flush with the countertop. All the stove tops I see at big box stores have a thickness, and there’s no mention of a collar or anything like that to hold it so it’s flush with the countertop. Hey all! I’m a collegiate rower who did 12 hours on a rowing machine(1 ish minute breaks between hours to walk around and prevent lactic pooling) yesterday. It was hard but I could walk and stuff after. I am pretty worried about rhabdo— I stopped sweating at like hour 10 yesterday despite hydrating as much as I could (had electrolytes, snacks, tons of water), so haven’t noticed much difference with urine. Hi all, I am in my last year of graduate school in molecular/cell biology and I am starting to think about next steps. I feel pretty strongly I don't want to be an academic PI but I am interested in industry or academic staff scientists positions. I think for either of these paths a post doc would be beneficial for me as all my experience so far has been in invertebrate systems. Having no mammalian experience will make it really hard to be competitive for industry jobs in this market, so a short post doc in a mammalian/disease focused lab may position me better for industry. We recently played Hide&Seek in Vienna. We were teams of two, and each team got one run - we used the "small" game. The first teams Hiding Time (after 30min of time to hide) started at 11:00am local, and (with a break for lunch between the runs) the second run only ended at 9:06pm when it was already dark. I am going to my cousin’s store yesterday. I see something called Vanguard lying on the shelf. It look strong and solid. I touch it and it feel heavy but smooth. I received a gift from work. It was doing ok at work but I started to notice a couple of leaves were falling and dying. zero sun at work so I brought it home. I repotted because the pot it was in I felt was too big. I noticed it was very droopy but a couple of new babies sprouting. I repotted it this morning into a new pot but the pot doesn’t drain. I assume Basis will be at least one TBS, but are TBSs from the individual section (T1) and property transactions (T4) frequently tested in TBS form?
