Finally Found the Best IPTV Service That Actually Works (After Years of Frustration) - 2025/2026

3h ago

Every few weeks, I see the same question pop up: which service still works well in the USA and Canada? With so many IPTV providers appearing and disappearing, I decided to test several services myself instead of trusting random recommendations. After comparing different options over time, it was the one that stayed the most reliable during my testing. 👉 [IPTV ENCODERS](http://iptvencoders.com) What stood out immediately was how stable it felt compared to many other IPTV subscriptions. No constant buffering, no broken channels, and the layout actually made sense. It felt more like a well-organized TV platform than a typical unstable IPTV service. 🌍 Content Coverage & Region...

A revamp for Keiichi Maebara vs Steve Harrington (Higurashi vs Stranger Things). With a thumbnail by Visual_Nerd.

3h ago

Theme: Lovable 80s goofballs who live in small towns where various supernatural phenomena and government conspiracies take place, and undergo a redemptive character arc. Connections: * Both were initially popular kids in school, that were also jerks. * Keiichi was discovered to be a very intelligent kid after going through a special exam, and got moved into a special class for promising students. He enjoyed the newfound praise he got from his parents and teachers, but eventually started to develop an ego and looked down on his other classmates. And then later grew so bored with the increased studying that he developed a petty delinquent hobby of shooting at kids with a BB gun. ...

Trustpilot vs. Alternatives: I mapped out the differences to see if "Pay-to-Play" is avoidable.

3h ago

I've been dealing with a lot of frustration regarding reputation management lately. The common sentiment I see in this sub is that the big players (like Trustpilot or Yelp) have effectively become "pay-to-play" where your ability to dispute fake reviews is tied to how much you pay them monthly. I started looking for alternatives that explicitly state they don't allow vendor influence. I found a newer platform, **RatingFacts**, that claims to use a "Zero-Influence" model. I was curious about how the actual mechanics differed, so I put together a quick comparison table between the industry giant and the challenger: |**Core Metric**|**Trustpilot**|**RatingFacts*...

The Mattress Hunt Feels Endless Until One Thing Finally Clicks

3h ago

Most people don’t realize how much a mattress can quietly wreck your body until the pain starts showing up every morning. I see this pattern a lot. A cheap mattress works fine when you’re younger, then years pass, toppers get added, sleep gets worse, and suddenly backs and hips are screaming. What stood out to me here wasn’t the brand or the discount, it was the process. Trying mattresses in person over time matters way more than reading specs or reviews. Bodies change, jobs wear you down differently, and what felt fine five years ago might be completely wrong now. I’ve seen plenty of couples chase firmness or softness when the real fix was better support and pressure relief togethe...

A Pokemon for Every Country. Day CLXXV. Uganda

3h ago

Eelektrik won for Tuvalu. I don’t even speak Vietnamese smh. Today, we have Uganda. Comment which Pokemon you think describes this country best and why. Here’s all the reasons so far. Please note I did not write any of these. Afghanistan: Baltoy (no reason was given) Albania: Conkeldurr (Because of al the CONCRETE bunkers) Algeria: Fennekin (Fennec Fox is Algeria’s national animal) Andorra: Vivillon ( Both Spanish and French influence, and Vivillion is found in both halos and paldea. Also, the modern pattern looks like the flag) Angola: gogoat (somewhat resembles the giant sable antelope, also it was the only response given) Antigua and Barbuda: Kilowattrel (Frigatebirb) Argent...

I struggled to shortlist GSoC orgs, so I built a tool to help with it

3h ago

Shortlisting GSoC organizations was way harder than I expected. There are so many orgs, and it’s difficult to figure out which ones actually align with your skills and resume. So I built **GSoC Metrics** \- a free web app where you upload your resume, and it recommends the best-fit GSoC organizations based on keyword and tech-stack alignment between your resume and org descriptions. It’s deployed, free to use, and your data isn’t stored. * Website: [https://gsocmetrics.vercel.app/](https://gsocmetrics.vercel.app/) * GitHub: [https://github.com/HarshVz/gsoc-metrics](https://github.com/HarshVz/gsoc-metrics) I’d really appreciate any feedback or suggestions. If you find it useful, a...

What style of knife is this?

3h ago

I got this knife recently from an antique/general trading store and I was just wondering if any of you guys would know the official name for this type of knife. If it qualifies as a knife, it may be too big but I'm not an expert. 30cm ruller for size comparison.

Advice for adopting a puppy!

3h ago

Been thinking about this for a long time, just looking for some advice because it's quite a big decision to make. Background: Single Mum with a 6 year old boy living in a 2 bed ground floor apartment. I own the property. No pets currently. I would love to adopt a dog, we always had one growing up and I think it would be great for my Son also. As we'd be adopting from a rescue, it would need to be a puppy due to my Son's age. I work in the city once a week and would be gone from 7-6PM. For that day, I'd plan to use a doggy daycare. Every other day I work from home. My parents live very close by and they have a 4 year old Shih-Tzu. I would plan to socia...

Do I have a chance to become a flight attendant?

3h ago

Hello ! So, here goes; I want to become a cabin crew member, but I dont know if i have a chance. For the pics, as you can probably see, I self harmed for some years (\~13 to 20 ?), so I still have some scars on the forearms; are they a big no? They're not super visible, but well, it's clear that it is self harm. Concerning the tattoos, I am willing to remove them (i did the black ones myself 😭💀 jeez), but do any of you know if I can keep them ? I've read that European companies weren't that strict about them (i've even read on Swiss' website that they tolerate small tattoos on the hands), but I've never had the opportunity to ask a cabin crew/someon...

Dealing with over-talking

3h ago

I need some advice on approaching someone who talks too much in an emotionally complex situation. I (32F) live with my sister (25). We spend a lot of time together in the evening. My problem is a difference in temperaments - I’m a very introverted, quiet person, so I like quiet environments and “being together separately” - when people are in the same space doing their own thing. However, my sister is a big talker and she seems uncomfortable with silence. Doesn’t help that she suffers from anxiety which makes her talk more and doesn’t have any other friends to talk to. So whenever I am in the living room with her, she floods me with talking. I also asked many times not to talk too...

bf told me to wait till april because of his exam and i feel torn

3h ago

hello, this is my first time posting on this sub. my boyfriend and i dated for almost two years but things started going south in november, when he would refuse to meet or call me. although, he is someone who needs space time to time but something in his behaviour seemed different, he was more distant and restrained. i tried to communicate with him several times but he always brushed it off and said nothing is wrong. however on 29 december, something happened and he said he can’t be in this relationship anymore because there is a lot going on in his life and being in a relationship is overwhelming and overburdening. we talked and decided breaking up for some time is the best we could do, h...

How do you track evolving topics without losing the big picture?

3h ago

Lately I’ve been feeling like I’m always chasing trends instead of really understanding them. In my field, new tools, frameworks, and research are constantly coming out. By the time I start noticing patterns, it already feels like common knowledge and I’m just reacting instead of anticipating. A big issue for me is how fragmented everything is. I’ll read an article on one site, a thread somewhere else, and a paper on another platform. Even though I consume a lot of information, it doesn’t come together into a clear, connected view. After a week or two, I forget what I read earlier and end up relearning the same things. Recently, I experimented with nbot ai as a way to handle this....

Random thoughts

Tyson 3.8 ast/to best on team…Pickett 3.5 2nd best…could be a starter in few years. The Andre Miller comp is fair I think. PWat with the lowest at 1.1. I don’t like when he is used as the primary ball handler or taking it up the court, rare but happens too often. He never looks comfortable. Holmes could be a bust…Julian could be a starter in a few years. I love AG but may be time to move on from him next year with his injuries. Bring him back for jersey retirement at end of his career. 🥹 How will he PWat play when Jokic is back and in the playoffs. His offensive improvement is nice but a lot of overhype (Kawhi ?!) imo. THJ has been looking really fresh! A pep in his step, even...

Help choosing a 2P freestanding UL tent: Portal 2 vs X-Dome 2 Solid (short poles) vs MT900 Condensless

3h ago

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice choosing a new 2-person UL tent, and I’d really appreciate feedback from people with real-world experience rather than just spec-sheet comparisons. For context: for the past years I’ve been using a Decathlon Quickhiker 2. It’s definitely *not* ultralight (2.1kg), but it was cheap, reasonably durable, and I bought it back when I was a student — so it made sense at the time. That said, it has always felt quite small for two people. On several trips, we ended up having to stay inside the tent some time because of bad weather, and in those situations it’s really uncomfortable: there’s barely enough space to lie down, and sitting inside wit...

Smart Home Upgrade

3h ago

# Small Home Upgrades Under ₹500 That Actually Make Daily Life Easier Most of us don’t realize how small problems at home slowly drain time and energy — messy sinks, cluttered bathrooms, awkward taps, constant cleaning. I recently went down a rabbit hole of **simple home-improvement products** that don’t require drilling, tools, or big budgets — and honestly, some of them are surprisingly useful. Here are a few **practical, everyday upgrades** that caught my attention 👇 # 1. Flexible Kitchen Tap Extender (Sink Game-Changer) If your kitchen sink splashes water everywhere or doesn’t reach all corners, a **flexible tap extender** is a small but powerful fix. https://previ...

Opinion | No, Young Men Are Not Returning to Church

3h ago

In the early 2020s, something unexpected happened: America stopped becoming less religious. The share of Americans with no religious affiliation had been rising for decades. Suddenly, that increase stopped. And all over the media, there was talk about religious revival. About trad wives and orthobros. About Gen Z potentially being more religious than their parents. My guest today is the perfect person to talk about what’s really happening in American religion. Ryan Burge is an ordained minister who witnessed American Christianity’s decline close up. In 2024, he had to close the doors of the church that he’d been pastoring. He’s also, in my own opinion, the best data analyst trackin...
