Delray Beach apartments2h agoHi all, I posted earlier asking advice on apartments to move into at Delray Beach. I've narrowed my list down to Mira delray, south of Atlantic, and brez. The last two are a bit pricey just cause they are downtown. I guess my question is, as a younger guy (23), is it really worth the hype living in downtown delray. This is a big move for me as I'm coming all the way from the north east. I will be working a lot as it is, but I definitely want to have fun on weekends whether it be local or going to Fort Lauderdale/miami. Any advice is much appreciated. Also please share any information (good or bad) on the apartments I listed. Thank you to all in advance. Super excited to move he... 26 [m4f] New Hampshire - I really just want to not be alone anymore2h agoHey there. I’ve been single a really long time and it kind of has just been getting to me more and more. I really just want someone special to be in my life. I usually travel with L, a good friend I've known for about 10 years. A few months ago L told me she's getting divorced. I know her situation is uncertain, so a few weeks ago I asked if a trip was still on the table for this year. I told her I understood if it won't work out and there was no pressure. She said she'd definitely like to go. I put together some ideas and sent them to her. She seemed into it because she sent me a flight deal she found. I mentioned in a text that I'd like to get our dates pinned down because I was trying to schedule something else and wanted to work aroun... in house summer position at a fortune 500 company2h agoi received an offer at a company for my 1L summer. i'd like to get into big law for my 2L summer doing transactional work. i think this is a good route to start but i see a lot of people doing judicial work this summer instead. do i take it or wait? i haven't recieved any other interview/offer yet. How I resolved my chronically chapped lips for good!2h agoI've learned several things over the years that once implemented completely resolved my chronically dry and peeling lips, even in the winter. I thought I would share what I've learned and what's worked for me here. 1. No peppermint! Stop using lip balms with mint in them. Peppermint is irritating to the skin and was causing inflammation of my lips. For years I always grabbed a minty balm because I liked the freshness, but as soon as I stopped, half my problems disappeared. 2. Toothpaste is also very irritating to the lips due to the SLS as well as the mint. Try not to get toothpaste all over your lips when you brush your teeth. Rinse your lips well if you do, then moisturize ... How do I get a player more comfortable with RP?2h agoTowards the end of last year, this player asked me to teach her how to play DND after seeing it on Stranger Things and led me to get a group together with our friends. We’re three sessions in and everyone there is playing DND for the first time. I helped them roll up their characters right before the holidays and spent my break putting together a nonlinear, player-driven murder mystery spanning the entire city of Waterdeep with semi-frequent combat (1 per 2-3 sessions). Most are taking to it very well and have quickly gotten invested in shaping the narrative, but this player isn’t contributing much to game sessions when I don’t call on her directly and even then she has a difficult tim... Cold feet?2h agoBuying my first home (condo) has been a roller coaster experience. It’s been very exciting to finally be able to buy something but also scary and tiring. My husband and I got very close to getting a place that we were extremely excited about. It hit majority of our check boxes. However, during inspection we found some big issues in the building which ultimately led us to backing out. We got back out there and found another place shortly after that we were absolutely in love with. As soon as we walked in we felt that spark. We spent a long time looking around and went back to see it twice. We put in an offer and are now in subjects. It hits most of our check boxes but falls short in some ... Stone and Landfill on Gleba?2h agoI have gone to the Solar System Edge, but I need more Agricultural Science Pack for the upgrades to make it to the Shattered Planet. On gleba, I need a lot of Landfill to make an long line of Biochambers for producing the science pack. However, on Gleba, my base has run out of the Stone patch you get near your drop on the planet. I see a few tiny patches of stone, around 100K-140K or so scattered around the map. I do not see any big 1 million+ patches anywhere. Am I just not looking hard enough? In order to get more stone, I could build a train out to the tiny 100K stone patch. However, I'll need Landfill to do that because there is so much water on the map, but Landfill requires sto... #AI #Thoughts on my #background2h agoThis #background #changes #everything. She canceled 2 of the shows2h agoI feel ashamed for lying to the online guy I care about2h agoI’ve been talking to a boy I met online for four years. We started talking when I was almost 16 and he was 18. Over time, we became quite close we talk often and share a lot of personal things. For an online relationship between two people who have never met, it feels serious. This summer, we’re planning to finally meet. He lives in a neighboring country and wants to come to mine. At the very beginning of our relationship, I lied to him about two things: the city I live in and my father’s profession. They weren’t major lies, but I feel deeply ashamed of them now and can’t bring myself to admit the truth. Since then, I’ve been honest about everything else and avoid these topics, ... Series 65 journey2h agoHey guys, first off congrats to everyone who's passed, reading through the success posts on here is motivating. I need to pass the 65. Have some finance background but not super strong. Work full time so I'm limited to evenings and one weekend day. I am just beginning the process and am incredibly nervous. Timeline-wise, my firm (big wirehouse) wants me to get this done so I have a soft window but beginning of April is realistically the latest I'd want to take it. That gives me about 6 weeks starting Monday. I've slowly started getting into it but honestly I'm overwhelmed. I open the textbook and it's hundreds of pages and I just feel like none of it is going... Does Nausea During Weekly Nightshifts Ever Stop?2h agoWanted some advice since the info online is very contradictory and mostly from people who always work the same shift for weeks or months and never have to switch. I've recently been promoted (yay!) and now have to do at least 1 night shift in a week (8pm - 7am). I have previously been doing early and late shifts, and my new role has been 90% early shifts (7am-3pm). I am finding I become very nauseous, with wind and stomach cramps, usually in the middle of the night. I feel I am staying hydrated, and eating less is not an option for me because I am always ravenous before my break! The first time it happened, I found myself hovering above the toilet bowl thinking I would actually thro... Something weird is going on and people are getting randomly suspended / banned.2h agoThe amount of posts about people getting long suspensions and bans is big and lots of comments on those same posts of people saying they had the same happening to them. This happened to me last week and it took me 3 tickets to resolve. 2 friends got 6 months suspensions for cheating today and I know for a fact they don’t cheat, one of them doesn’t even know how to load addons. Wtf? I just want to vent..2h agoHi, I would just like to vent to people who don’t know me or my husband. Maybe one of you will help me make sense of all of this. My MIL (70’s) is obsessed with her son but, not in the good way. Her behavior is so weird I can’t figure it out. Now my MIL does have a learning disability WHICH IS TOTALLY FINE but, I do find some of her behaviors immature. My husband is her only son. So, I (36) have two jobs as well as my husband (37). The other day I was at my second job ( I help my friend and her Dad flip houses.) my husband was also at his job. ( landscaper)All day his mom was texting me asking about my husband, her son and what he was doing. I kept replying to her that I was at wo... Wheel World Review2h agoI have actually finished this game a few months ago, and I realized that I didn't write a review for it. I don't write reviews for every game I play, but I liked this game enough for me to write this review. Wheel World is one of those games that throws a huge charm bomb at you,p as soon as you start playing. It has that magic something which you're a lot more likely to find in an indie game than a AAA game nowadays. you're playing as a regular girl named Kat. there's no backstory or deeper implications for her character, which I actually think is a huge plus. Why? Because it perfectly encapsulates what this game is about. Riding bikes! Your mission is to perform t... Irving Mall, Irving, TX.2h agoAnother post today! These are from the Irving Mall which I visited the other day. It was a weird experience going in, because it initially feels more like a thrift store/dingy living room near the entrances. Thankfully as I walked deeper into it the architecture became more "familiar" as well as a lot more open. iirc there was a shooting here both in 1993 and 2022, and the food court was moved from its previous spot back in the 90s. It also had a trampoline park (Sky Zone) which I had never seen in a mall before, lol. All in all it was a nice amalgamation of classic 70s mall architecture and carpeted hallways, along with some pleasantly strange set pieces. I honestly wouldn't ... Nice little 27 card basketball lot. $302h ago$30. 27 cards total. Mix of a bunch of stuff. Durant and Mitchell are both /99. I also have a lot of very cheap singles on my eBay store: https://ebay.us/m/TiFD76 ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
