Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Big Lots Latest Community Discussions About Big LotsOccidental leather as a European17m agoHoly **** I truly did not expect this to be this big, got the Fatlip but you guys must have a different definition. ******* **** the whole impact fits in there.. Even got a 1 meter level, 2 hammers and a whole lot of tools. Also fits a macbook. What do you guys do that requires a Fatlip Comfort OL or Diamondback? I was truly surprised by the size. Even if I see the benefits of it (already love mine), I'm just curious what you guys see in it. Also I paid 570 euros so it better be worth it. Is anyone else sad War Within is ending and taking its class philosophy with it? I feel like I'm completely on my o...18m agoHey guys, I haven't really posted on WoW reddit but man do I feel isolated and I guess I'm just reaching out to any community I can think of to hear your thoughts. Gonna be a long post because I get way too passionate about WoW so apologies in advance!! I am very sad to see War Within go, I think it marks the end of an era and I don't like the new direction. But everyone I've said this to seems to think I'm a Classic purist or thinks Midnight is an extension of WW. I'll try to explain below, but I'm starting to realize I'm in a very small minority of people. So I'm big on game theory, and most of the fun of modern WoW for me is making new chara... Octopus (part 1)19m agoI thought the evil goopy crypt I was in was safe, but then I turned around. It was then I saw the creature. The end! Just kidding. Also, they kiss at the end of the episode “The Bearded Man in the Window,” go frame by frame after the viewer submitted fanart and you’ll see it, I’m really not kidding. I didn’t even MEAN to see it, I was just dumbly watching until the end where I usually would’ve already turned it off because I really don’t want to see people’s drawings of isaiah and hunter as my little pony inserts (of which there are a concerning amount,) and I paused because I thought I saw something flashing in between the end static. It’s true, they really do kiss at ... What’s the most money you’ve wasted learning what actually matters with guns?19m agoHere’s something I keep seeing and (I’m sure you have also)…2 min read Most bad purchases in this hobby don’t happen because people are reckless. They happen because the differences that matter are invisible until after you’ve already paid. A few examples we’ve lived through or watched friends go through: • Guns that feel fine in the store but shoot completely different • Optics that look “good enough” at 25–100 yards, then fall apart at distance • Renting multiple guns just to figure out you’re $150 deep before you learned anything useful • “Shoot it stock first” assumes everyone has unlimited ammo, money and range time”... Should I quit?19m ago[27M] discovered **** online at a very young age and have watched it since. Watched it all throughout middle school, high school, college, and well into my adult life. I made some big lifestyle changes last year after a breakup, mostly diet and exercise (lost ~60 lbs). I think giving up **** might be my next step. I’m recognizing patterns and negative habits especially when it comes to sex and relationships with women and I think cutting back on **** might help. On average I watch **** every few days, more often when I am stressed or anxious. Sometimes multiple times a day if my anxiety is bad. My biggest coping mechanisms for stress, anxiety and depression are food, ****, and sex. I’v... How do I stop feeling like a kid in adult clothes?20m agoThis year I’m turning 35. I’m old. I look like a kid and I have big ear gauges, but I definitely look “young”, let’s say 25-ish to be conservative. When I was younger I went through a lot of styles, scene kid, b-boy, anything. I used to mix styles, Bill Kaulitz hair, baggy Ecko jeans, screamo sleeveless hardcore T-shirts, etc. Fast forward, I land a kind-of remunerative corporate job. I start dressing more casually, but still kind of childish. Then COVID hits. I start wearing baggy sweatshirts and even bigger sweatpants, and that's me today. I just wear jeans at work (and a sweater, of course). I feel like everyone notices. And when I dress not casual, I look like a *****... Started building a Kubernetes cost tool after a conversation with a friend who couldn’t explain his cloud bill20m agoThis started from a conversation, not from a startup war story. I was talking to a close friend of mine who’s a Director of Engineering. I casually asked him if they use Kubernetes. He said yes. They started on AWS → costs went up → moved to Azure → AWS came back with discounts → they moved back to AWS. What surprised me wasn’t the cloud hopping. It was this sentence: > They’re running EKS, some GPUs, nothing exotic. But when the bill goes up, it’s hard for him to answer: * which workloads are actually expensive * what changed recently * whether the spend is expected or just waste And this is someone *technical*, not a finance person. I know they can hire som... How do I stop feeling like a kid in adult clothes?20m agoThis year I’m turning 35. I’m old. How a 10-Tier Shoe Rack Can Transform Your Entryway and Closet Space20m agoIf you’re dealing with shoe clutter in your entryway or closet, you’re definitely not alone. Shoes pile up fast—sneakers, boots, heels, sandals—and before you know it, the space feels cramped and messy. One simple solution that actually makes a big difference is using a 10-tier shoe rack. The biggest advantage of a tall shoe rack is vertical storage. Instead of shoes spreading across the floor, you store them upward, which instantly frees up walking space. A 10-tier rack can hold a large number of shoes in one compact area, making it especially helpful for families or anyone with a growing shoe collection. Another major benefit is organization by type. Boots can go on the higher ti... AITAH for yelling at my wife about where we could park at the apple store21m agoYesterday my wife went to AT&T on her lunch break to buy an iPad. She got me one for christmas and she’s been watching me use it and really wanted one. She didn’t open the box until she got home and when she went to set it up, it kept loading without moving forward to a different section. She started to get really upset and I offered to help her but she kept insisting something was “wrong” with the ipad. I‘m in no way a tech savvy person but I googled a few things to try and showed them to her. She kept saying “no that won’t work”. I even suggested setting it up on cellular data instead of wifi (that was how I set up mine). She totally lost it and started yelling at m... Day 13: Fatboy Slim-You’ve come a long way, baby.21m ago2/5. I am admittedly not the most familiar with Big Beat as a genre. I basically only previously knew the Prodigy with the crab album (fat of the land.) Fatboy Slim was another one of the large artists in that scene, and he was up there with the prodigy as one of the few big beat artists to make a splash in the U.S.. as for this album it’s some sample-heavy danceable electronic music. A lot of the songs I started off thinking “this is kinda catchy.” But then the biggest flaw of this album for me rears its head, and it’s that every song on here is just a minute or two too long which turns it into a slog to get through. Trim some of the dead-weight off these songs and we’d be talki... Does anyone else also feel lonely sometimes but prefer to be alone?21m agoI went through a lot for the last two years: a big heartbreak after my first breakup and cut off some friends, including a best friend of 7 years. I felt like I was always giving a lot more than what they gave me, and I was the only genuinely caring one in these relationships. I realized relationships always stress my life more than anything else, because I always care too much. As an introvert, I wasn't the type to plan a lot of hangouts already but now I just don't want to plan hangouts at all. I'm in my mid twenties but I'm at the phase where I live alone, do hobbies on my own (ex: watch musicals alone, workout alone), workout 6 days a week, eat alone, and don't ... 24 [M4F] #Canada/USA – Looking for a romantic connection22m agoHere are a few things about me: * I try to be smart - I just graduated university and am so excited to be working in a field I enjoy a ton* * I try to work out - big emphasis on the try here* * I try to be good at video games - I have about 200 games on Steam yet and tons of hours on league yet I peaked at gold* 😭 *(Also am down to play cute games like stardew and animal cross*ing) * I try to stay well informed about current events. Mostly with politics, tech news, and economics as I find them very interesting. (Also I love to debate/talk about these things)* * I built my own PC!!* * I am liberal/moderate leaning (Please no Trump voters, I’m sorry but no chance our values align)* ... Did I ruin my 32f husband's 34m first night of sobriety?25m agoWe have been together 8 years married 3. My husband has a drinking problem. He's been drinking 2 bottles of 100 proof alcohol plus at least 12 beers a week. It's been this way for months. He's tried to stop a couple times but it just gets worse each time he starts back. It only lasts 2 days at a time. He's not a mean drunk. I usually can't even tell he's been drinking until 10pm when he's starting to sway and his eyes glass over. We've had problems in the past (it's been better the last year or so) with him being controlling and irritated with small things. It's made me feel like I'm walking on egg shells. Things like: I didn't put... My holy grail. My white whale. Baby Boom Khun26m agoBABY BOOM KHUN I have searched for this guy for so long. Finally. Finally I have him. He is PERFECT. I could cry now. This is the 2020 re-release version of Khun from GNF Toyz. -------‐----------- General Review: Baby Boom Khun comes with a small gray circular plate as a base with a Webtoon logo in a wobbly white pattern. He is about an inch tall. Paintwork detail is fairly well done with the buttons and tie visibly printed at such a small scale. There are minor marks and divots on the surface, most likely from the natural molding processes as there is no damage to the paint. His little legs are perfectly flat, but his tiny hands are not and so it pushes him off the ground. Thus... What helped me combat boredom in early sobriety!27m agoI posted something like this a while back and many said they found it helpful, so I figured I’d share it again. What helped me in early sobriety was keeping a **short list of activities I genuinely enjoy** and then **planning one ahead of time**. That way, when the day or evening comes, I’m not stuck thinking “what should I do?” — I already know. I still do this, but now it comes naturally. Some ideas that have worked for me: * Going out in nature for walks * Bike rides (this one gives me a natural high that lasts most of the day) * Exploring non-alcoholic replacements (can actually be a fun little project) * Finding new hobbies (I know it’s cliché, but it really does matter)... testing27m agoFrom L-R: [Trayvax Link Keychain](https://www.trayvax.com/collections/key-gear/products/link-lanyard-climb-spec-nylon) [Apple AirTag](https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-airtag/airtag/1-pack?afid=p240%7Cgo~cmp-19905519311~adg-147153193826~ad-652759794664_pla-1413950846343~dev-c~ext-~prd-MX532LL%2FA~mca-3622330~nt-search&cid=aos-us-kwgo-pla-btb_lia--product-MX532LL%2FA) [Olight O'pen Mini 2](https://www.olight.com/store/open-mini-2-ballpoint-pen-pencil-in-one) [Olight I3T EOS Flashlight](https://www.olight.com/store/i3t-2-small-edc-flashlight) [Leatherman Bit Driver](https://www.leatherman.com/products/ratchet-driver?variant=43009462796381&view=min&gad_source=1&am... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
