Twistura Beta Flagship Review, What Does Flagship Mean Anymore?

2h ago

Hi everyone, I’m back with a brief review of the Twistura Beta Flagship IEM. I received this IEM from Lucie, who kindly provided it for review purposes. Thanks to Lucie and the Twistura team. I apologize for the very late review, as my health condition is still currently unstable. Here are my subjective impressions as an audio enthusiast. To summarize, here are the pros and cons: (+) * The packaging, accessories, and build quality provided by Twistura are worthy of the flagship title in the $120 price bracket. * With the silver nozzle, the tuning is relatively safe with no sibilance, unlike some other glass-driver IEMs. * The included nozzles make a noticeable difference, especially in ...

Do you think the skincare industry deliberately ignores the diet conversation or is it just not profitable enough to tal...

2h ago

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. There is genuinely so much research out there connecting what you eat to how your skin behaves inflammation, hydration, breakouts, even how fast your skin recovers. It is not fringe science at this point. But somehow every conversation in mainstream skincare always circles back to the next serum or the next ingredient. Rarely does anyone with a big platform sit down and say hey maybe look at what you are eating before you spend eighty dollars on a moisturizer. I get that skincare brands are not exactly motivated to point people toward their grocery store. But even dermatologists and influencers who have no reason to sell you a product seem to g...

The Isdal Woman - 55 years and I still can't make any theory work

2h ago

been down this rabbit hole again for the past few days and I'm going in circles so figured I'd see where everyone else lands on it for anyone who hasn't come across this one: november 1970, a man and his two young daughters find a partially burned body on a hiking trail in the isdalen valley outside bergen norway. woman on her back, sleeping pills scattered around her, bottle of petrol, empty liquor bottle. parts of her are badly burned but her back isnt because it was flat against the ground. heres the thing though. every single label has been cut from her clothes. not just brand tags. the neckline labels, washing instructions, everything. she has no ID on her. nothing. po...

Big glucose spikes after eating out + no hunger the next day — should I fast?

2h ago

Just got diagnosed last week and still figuring things out — had a few questions for anyone with experience: 1. Almost every time I eat out, my glucose spikes and then I don’t feel hungry for the next \~3 hours (sometimes even into the next day). Question: is this normal? And do people ever fast the next day to “balance it out,” or is that not a good idea? Also curious if others notice higher baseline glucose the next day on CGM after a big spike. 2. I’m not planning to cut out carbs completely since I get hungry easily and want to maintain my current weight. Has anyone successfully kept their weight stable while lowering glucose levels? What worked for you? 3. I’ve s...

I M19 don’t know what to do of my relationship with my gf F18 please help…

2h ago

Hey everyone , I really need help sorry for the long text but it's really complicated thanks in advance! I’m a 19-year-old guy, and my girlfriend is 18. We got together when we were both 17. At the beginning everything was amazing — I only have good memories from those first months. But I made a really ****** mistake: I kept talking to my “best friend,” who wasn’t just a friend but someone I used to flirt with. I couldn’t cut ties with her, and this went on for months even though I had just started dating my girlfriend. Despite that, we were happy… until several things happened at the same time. First, her mother told her she was moving to Spain. Her parents are divorce...

AITAH for letting my bf skip a family party I wasn’t invited to?

2h ago

My bf and I have been together for a little over a year. I have been to a few family parties like Christmas at his cousins and thanksgiving at his moms place. Yesterday he mentioned a family party. I was feeling myself and started mentally preparing to present my best self. I haven’t seen his extended family a lot. His mom was preparing for the party and asked if we could pick something up. I jumped in and was like of course I know that store. She thanks me and then apologizes about me not being invited. Saying that there was only so much room at the table. Then my bf says “oh yeah I forgot” I said ok and quickly got my *** to the car where I can cry without complete embarrassment. My ...

This Quiet Shift Is About to Destroy Big Fashion

2h ago

Everyone thinks fashion is dominated by giants. They’re wrong. They’re just early. For the last 20 years, distribution was the bottleneck. If you wanted to win, you needed shelf space, retail deals, or massive ad budgets. That’s why a handful of brands ate the entire market. But distribution just broke. Now: * You don’t need stores * You don’t need middlemen * You don’t need to outspend — you need to out-position What changed? Discovery. Platforms are shifting from *“show me what’s popular”* → *“show me exactly what I want”* That one shift kills generic brands. Because if a customer can type: “heavyweight oversized hoodie, no logos, EU-based, under...

I struggle at work

2h ago

I guess I am looking for other people that also struggle with work I am a 40yr developer, work in IT for about 15 years and now in a big company there are some times that I believe I can do anything, I feel in control, and this also happens extrangely when I have a lot of work. I have lots of energy and I feel that everything is ok at work and I am thriving. on the other hand, when I have little work, everything feels impossible. I dont want to get up and open the computer, I feel like a failure and not good enough for what I am doing, and start to feel that people conspire behind my back to fire me. does anyone relate to this? looking around I also come up with the term “boreout”, ...

Question for the marketers: is there a correlation between AI adoption and Bieberchella?

2h ago

Ok, hear me out. AI is all the rage right now, and trust me, I’ve been trying to keep up just so I won’t fall too behind. But the future of marketing with strictly AI content feels really grim. So now that Bieberchella happened, where halfway through his set, he pulled out a laptop and started playing old YouTube clips of his past performances, the reaction most people are having to the raw, unfiltered, stripped-down version of his “best of” performance has been positive. A lot of people connected emotionally with it. So the question is, is it just the nostalgia, or are we already turned off by fast, big, “best” (sameness), and the fact that it felt kind of analog is what’s ...

Cord blood and cord tissue banking [ON]?

2h ago

I have been taking prenatal classes. The prenatal classes are sponsored by Cells for Life which is a cord blood program. They’ve talked about cord blood and tissue banking in every class for a few minutes. I also recently learned that doctors do get some compensation when patients decide to go ahead with this and I find this very odd. It would be a no brainer to go ahead and store cord blood and cord tissue for my twins if it didn’t cost so much. However, it is a lot of money for something that is not guaranteed to help. I am also expecting identical twins so I was told that it is a situation similar to having a singleton (less chances for my babies to use the cord blood and cord tiss...

Having burnout as an Uber Driver?

2h ago

Hi everyone! I’m a Master’s student, and for my thesis we are doing research on algorithmic management and its impact on burnout. We are well aware that Uber Eats uses algorithmic management, such as when it comes to shifts and tasks, as well as performance evaluation, and we are very interested on its impact in employees. So if you’d like to contribute to our study, it would be of big help, and it would be a step towards better employee management :) If you work in Europe, age 16+ and work 20 hours a week, please feel free to complete our survey! Thanks a lot in advance! Link: https://soto.maastrichtuniversity.nl/soto/php/gui/register.php?study=mww

I realized my problem wasn’t laziness, it was relying too much on motivation

2h ago

For a long time I thought I just lacked discipline. I’d have days where I felt motivated, planned everything out, and actually followed through. But the next day, that feeling would disappear and I’d fall off completely. Then I’d get frustrated with myself and assume I was just being lazy. This cycle kept repeating: start strong → lose motivation → stop → feel guilty → restart again What I’m starting to realize is that the issue wasn’t really laziness. It was that I was depending too much on motivation to stay consistent. Recently, I’ve been trying to lower the “entry point” for everything. Instead of setting big expectations like working for hours, I just focus ...

A PM spending half the day in a terminal

2h ago

Something hit me recently. More than half of my working day now happens in a terminal and VS Code. I'm a Product Manager. That's not supposed to be what my days look like. But I've been using Claude Code for a few months now and things have kind of drifted in that direction, and honestly I don't mind it anymore. What started as me trying to get some data analysis done turned into building an entire work setup: workflows connected to databases, Notion, Slack, Gmail, Granola, Metabase. There's something called MCP servers that lets you plug all of this into one place, and once you set it up it starts to feel like the tools are actually built around how you work rather...

Finally Found a Whey With a Surprisingly Short Ingredient List

2h ago

Been paying a lot more attention to ingredient labels on whey lately. A lot of tubs out there have these massive lists with gums, thickeners, and a bunch of additives that make it feel more like a food science project than a protein shake. Recently came across BigMuscles Benchmark Series Clean Protein and what caught my attention was how short the ingredient list was. From what I saw it’s basically whey isolate, whey concentrate, whey powder, cocoa, bromelain, natural flavor, Himalayan pink salt, and monk fruit. Nothing groundbreaking maybe, but it was refreshing to see something relatively simple in a price range that’s usually packed with fillers. Been trying it for a bit and...

Easiest way to sell all your cards if you are willing to sell cheaply?

2h ago

Sorry if this is not allowed just delete, but im about to sort through my big cardboard box and wanted to know whats the best place to sell all my cards. Im aware most yugioh cards dont have significant value, but since people do buy them still i was hoping someone could help with a few questions. at what lp/nm dollar value should I be noting the card when I go through them? if I wanted to sell them reasonably quickly in one transaction how much of a % should I be selling them at? is 50% fair or still too much? ive never sold on fb marketplace and havent sold on ebay in a lot of years. is one of those the best option or is there another? thank you for any and all advice.
