5 days before the race I tripped and had a bad fall which resulted in a big graze on my right knee and on my left elbow. The pain was terrible and my mobility was affected a lot. Despite that, I still wanted to join my first race since I trained for it. I was originally planning to do a sub 30, but after my injury I just wanted to finish strong and I'm glad my consistent training paid off. I took ibuprofen the night prior and before the race for pain management.
