Solo dev, just pushed a big update to Nexus Calibration on Meta Quest EA. It's a sci-fi arcade shooter — handgun + holo-shield vs drone waves. The bit I spent the most time on: the shield isn't just a wall. Block, glancing deflect, parry, or reflect shots back at enemies — all depending on timing and how you hold it. Mess it up and you're in the vulnerable window. The gun has a heat/vent mechanic too, so there's actually stuff to think about mid-fight. This is Fuji Found him inside a sealed bag with a giant Napa cabbage for a roommate a week ago. Once safe, Fuji made himself a little cozy room with a leaf and stayed there for days I was worried as he did not come out for a whole week. I'm 33 f and I can't remember the last time I felt pure joy. I think it's because I've been through a lot of stuff and trauma and basically have been living in survival mode for quite some time. I've improved my sleep, diet, and started taking vitamin D which helped a lot with fatigue. But still nothing really sparks joy. Food gives me some comfort but that's it. I honestly don't believe in talking to someone about my problems, I tried once and it's just not for me. I just go through life with a deep sense of melancholy and jadedness.
