I found this beauty on sale yesterday and I could not resist. I have never had an anthurium before so I tought it would be a new experience. I'm not sure how to treat this plant, the big damaged leaf I mean. I tought about just cutting it off but I'm not sure if that is the move. If it is, I'm also curious if I could propagate it so it doesn't go to waste? A node is probably necessary, but maybe just a cutting would work? I'm also not sure why the leaf dried up like that. Did they not water it properly? Did it get wnough light? And also, should I repot it? Any advice will help a lot! Thank you in advance!!

I know this isn't the sub for questions like this but I have no idea where I can ask elsewhere. So, my mums getting a new boiler at some point in the spring due to some inheritance coming her way. - so she's getting the whole system replaced, new radiators, the lot. - Probably going to get the boiler moved from one of the bedrooms, it's going to be quite a big job I suspect. She's at least intelligent enough to avoid BG lol And she already understands that she needs to get at least 3 or 4 quotes. The thing is, apart from BG, is there any decent boiler fitters out there? BOXED come and fixed the current boiler when it went wrong so, there is that option.

At first I thought it was just another dramatic moment, but when you look at their backstory and how it fits with their choices later, it added a lot of depth for me.
