Heads up. I adored my time with Monster hunter stories 1. (I'll probably get the second one after I 100% this one) but playing through got me thinking that sometimes devs and players might put too MUCH stock in the monster count. Stories 1 only has about, 70 monsters. But the game REALLY forces you to use a lot more of the roster than most in the genre. Until like, the very end game, you probably are going to switch out at least 1 or 2 mons in each major area. I was pregnant at the time and a home test kit said my ph was off and I had BV. So I went for my regular midwife appointment I had anyways and while I was there she prescribed me a pill and did a vaginal swab. Here’s the crazy part - I was billed $1500 for the vaginal culture because they sent it off to a hospital for testing. I didn’t even get a result for 3 days so it wasn’t a rapid one. I wouldn’t have even taken the swab if I knew it was going to cost so much - she prescribed it right in office and didn’t make me wait for result (though I did wait for result to decide if I would take it because I didn’t want to take it needlessly.) Currently Senior ME at Experience store in SoCal and just got an offer for an AE position but would have to move across the country. Salary is going down and they said my comp would go up but not by a lot. I’m interested in moving up in the company but at what cost. My question is, for current and former AE’s what’s the job security like? is it worth it? And lastly, I’m familiar with the role and responsibilities, but what’s the hardest part? for me my living expenses would go up but so would pay. They are offering a small relocation bonus too. Other option is staying in my hometown with another company or staying and getting a second job.

Are there any classic short films y'all want to share or talk about? I struggle to find many modern ones with much emotion or really anything of substance, instead most the time it's just nice camerawork and a pretty mundane message.
