Long story short I have plans of walking along the southern coastline of Iceland in the future. I've done similar things in both Taiwan and Singapore, so it's not like I'm just doing this on a whim, but obviously Iceland is much bigger and from my understanding the climate is much harsher in some areas as well. When I first got into it, I paid attention to all the obvious stuff. Whether a session felt exciting enough, whether a game looked good, whether anything memorable happened. That was basically how I judged the whole experience. Now it feels completely different. I notice comfort more, pace more, and whether I actually enjoy sitting with a game for a while. Was scrolling last night and saw someone ask where ETH would be next year. The comments saying 5000, some saying back to 800. People focused on arguing about price but completely ignored what ETH is actually doing. ETH's biggest problem is slow. Ive had this theory for a while now that one of the main causes of misery is wishing you had something that you don’t. I’m not saying this is a universal thing, and I know there are lots of reasons that people can be miserable. Hello all, I will soon start working with a local association on a photography preservation project, which means i will have to make a catalogue and a digital archive of the pictures stored at a local museum. We're talking about historical pictures dating anywhere from 1800 to 1950 onward, so i'm going to work on a variety of supports and i think a flatbed scanner would be the most appropriate both for varying sizes and because of pictures variety in general.
