To start, I’m not at all against PvP of any form in this game. In fact I think if it were to be either removed or isolated to PvP specific lobbies it would end up making the game much less enjoyable for everyone. Personally, I don’t hunt down peaceful players but have an absolute blast when I run into someone who gives me a good battle. IMO the game is at it’s best when it is mostly peaceful but has a few “villains” in any given round. When a round is either entirely peaceful or “shoot on sight” the game loses a lot of tension. That being said, there is one big flaw to PvP that I believe makes up a big chunk of the annoyance felt by PvE players and that is the free load-outs. ...

This is my first big freelancing project. My contract entails design and frontend development. I informed my client that I will do the design and frontend, but I don't do backend - she will have to find a backend developer. Backend developer came on later. He made a new repo and told me to port everything over. He built out the shell with basic api route set up, auth provider, and DB calls. I'm a mid-career ME in medical device R&D. I'm going to switch jobs soon, and I've gotten advice to not tell the current co-workers what my new job is. The advice is to avoid any possibility of someone trying to scuttle the new job offer so I can't leave. (I'm in an area with just a few big employers in my field and a lot of people know each other across companies.) On one hand, that seems paranoid. Hi all, I wanted to come on here and vent a little bit about my current situation. I'm a newly-licensed attorney in a fairly big market in the south at a mid-sized firm with around 5 offices. Work on this build continues but I’ve run into a couple of minor issues along the way. First, I picked up some Mazz OD front gears. Unfortunately once I installed them on the Planet axles I noticed that they scraped along the diff cover. I went back to stock and decided instead to go with Injora UD rear gears. This should resolve all issues and I personally prefer to run UD in the rear. Second, I picked up a Meus transmission because it allowed me to save a few bucks. Big mistake. Kept this one simple. Home teams, big spreads, and low player lines. No reach plays. LeBron over 16.5 is about as basic as it gets. He clears that in most games. Jokic 10+ rebounds at home is normal for him. If he plays his usual minutes, it’s there. Lakers +12 is a lot of points at home, especially with OKC missing their main guy. Walmart customer for 30+ years here. Walmart Plus member for a few years since Covid. Frequent shopper to say the least lol.
