Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Big Lots Latest Community Discussions About Big LotsAdvice, wrecked car - not sure if insurance will cover. Auction?2h agoHi everyone! I recently had an accident and lo g story short, I’m not sure if my insurance will cover it. They said there is a possibility but it’s a big insurance company so I’m not expecting them to be looking for ways that they can cover me and moreso just looking for reasons not to cover me. I was quoted about $12K in damanges & while that’s a lot & most people would get a new car, my car is paid off. I don’t want to have a car note. I’m wondering if anyone has experience buying cars at actions for parts? My bumper came off which caused the driver steering wheel & knee airbags to deploy. No damage to the engine or undercarriage. The bulk of the rep... 26 F United States Looking for new friends who share interests2h agoHello guys, I'm 26. I live in the United States. I am looking for more friends to chat with and connect. I love horror films and books. I just started the new Netflix true crime show today. I also love going for hikes and camping. I also love to read books. My favorite books are classics and mystery thriller genres. I am a big print book fan. I actually read over 200 books last year. I have met a few famous authors as well. I love anything book related. I also love coffee a lot. My favorite blends are cold brews and flavored coffees. Tan or Zebra2h agoDo you think Popcorn is a tan or a zebra jumping spider. We’re in the Denver, CO area so she’s likely one of the two. She’s very thin so I thought she was a wolf spider and was relocating her from on my popcorn container in the fridge to the garage when I saw her cute little face. We’re trying to feed her the smallest mealworm we had leftover from our last spider who passed and will offer her fruit flies in the morning once we can get to the store. She’s interested in the mealworm but it’s pretty big for her size. We offered her honey water on a q-tip in case she’s starving but she’s not interested yet. Reese talks more about Tommy and Ecuador while griping about Sephora2h agoReese Quibell says she never liked the Fred tattoo she got in Kansas City until she got it reworked and added more things to it yesterday. She worries her audience about a tornado watch in her area and then says there are no sirens where she lives and she's not sure what she would even do to protect herself and H if a tornado came through suddenly because they live in a mobile home. If they have some warning that a storm is bad enough, they can go to her mom's tornado shelter, she says. Reese adds that she's happy about moving to Ecuador because there aren't hurricanes or tornadoes there. Maybe Reese doesn't understand that there are earthquakes, landslides, ts... AITAH for defending another guy against my boyfriend?2h agoI (20 F) have a boyfriend, (23 M), who gets very touchy when it comes to other men around me. Tonight, we went out to a book store cruise with a group of friends, both male and female. Before we went out, he was telling me he doesn’t think I should go because I will probably get tired and books aren’t really my thing. Although true, I still didn’t want to miss out on the experience. We ended up having a pretty fun time up until we were about to exit the boat. My bf and friends were walking in front of me, when I looked back and saw an old friend from high school, (20 M), let’s call him J, and his friend who I don’t know. I said hi to J then he said “my friend here wants to talk... Long time female friend's weird behaviour2h agoMy friend and I have known each other since we were kids and we’ve been friends since 6th grade. Recently, we’ve been spending more time together but things have started to feel a little off. I’ve been in a healthy relationship for a few years now and It’s my first relationship. She, on the other hand, has never been in one and always claimed she didn’t want to be. But about a year ago, she got emotionally attached to a guy she met at the library. They were friends at first but things got complicated and he ended up mistreating her. He denied having any feelings and told her he was “never ready for a relationship” She was hurt badly and her mental health has been affected ever... Solo vs clans2h agoI'll give my honest opnion here: 90% of people don't get how balancing works and complain that every change is a buff for clans without understanding the reason behind that I believe the reason behind all this strugle is that game does not account for the number of players in your group for anything at all Player number advantage increases exponentially the amount of sucess and loot you can get But the cost for maintining these player is linear and very low at that, specially in a game where 1 player can get the loot from lots of other, maybe whole days worth of loot This causes a great disonance between the dificulty experienced by solos and big groups Rust should have mo... Demo game on TTS?2h agoHey all, I have been wanting to get into infinity, would anyone be willing to run a game with me to demo? No stores near me do infinity (unfortunately 40k is a thing). And I prefer playing skirmish games like crisis protocol. Not sure if this is allowed to be asked here but hazarding a chance. Going to need a lot of hand-holding from start to finish. The rules seem a bit confusing but I only ever saw N4 played 3 or 4 times. Maybe easier in practice. 3 Shopify Themes Every Fashion Brand Should Know2h agoIf you’re building a clothing store and want it to look clean, modern, and easy to shop, these three Shopify themes are worth checking out: **Impulse** – Big photos, bold layouts, and strong visuals. Great if you want your brand to feel stylish and high-end. **Zyra** – Smooth animations and nice fonts. It gives a luxury look without being too expensive. Perfect for boutique or streetwear brands. **Xclusive** – Looks like an online magazine with big images and sections that tell your brand story. It’s built to help you sell more. These themes don’t just look good—they help you get more sales. In your country, do they make fun of people because they look "poor"?2h agoIn Mexico, the status symbol is wearing expensive clothes, bags, showing off your vacations to Paris or NYC, buying a Starbucks frappucino, or going shopping to the most expensive stores... And sometimes they bully people that are not on "their level" or wear stuff like an artesanal bag (picture 3). And it's funny because a lot of Americans like to buy those bags as traditional souvenirs but to some Mexicans it's just a symbol of poverty or "lower class." I wonder if maybe rich people from SoCal are like this too? Michelle Wu celebrates re-election to Mayor of Boston, as first female and first Asian American mayor2h agoMichelle Wu is East Asian and it is actually now her second term as mayor of Boston. She first won election in 2021 at the age of 36, as the children of immigrants from Taiwan. NYC as the biggest city and a closer election got more attention with Mamdani, but also created a lot of discussion about the East vs South Asian political representation. Here, we also have an East Asian candidate winning the mayor in a big city, and a city that isn't super Asian either (less than 10%). Previously the most prominent Asian mayor was Ed Lee in SF which is 30% Asian. Cro soft med pouch2h agoQuick review if the Cro soft med pouch. I purchased this pouch while waiting on their larger Narc pouch to restock. Being half the price of the big brother, I thought I'd try and review for the team here. Initial thoughts is that the pouch is smaller than I expected. It is still big enough to keep the beefier 10mL vials but they tend to cause the pouch to round out (see photo). I ended up having to flip my vial tray around to use the sleeves. If I could give them a suggestion, it would be to make it deeper. That would make it easier to store hypo needles and syringes with the meds. I have some pre-filled meds that do not fit well in this pouch. The pouch has a lanyard loop on it whic... Why do people find brick buildings so aesthetically pleasing?2h agoIn my city, there was a big backlash over a massive renovation project that modernized some old apartments. People complained about thew new style - very modern, typical 5-over-1 style - compared to the old brick buildings. Now, I know the modern 5-over-1 style is getting pretty played out everywhere, it's not unique and doesn't have much character. But I just don't get the obsession over brick. Like people were gushing over these buildings, saying they were beautiful. But from my perspective, these were ratty *** old apartments with no symmetry, discolored and cracked brick, all sorts of exposed utility pipes and gas lines, fire escapes dangling off the side of them, etc. ... Amazon is getting ridiculous and rewarding petty thieves with both product and their money back.2h agoSo here’s what happened. I sold a handmade sculpture on Amazon, something I put a lot of time and care into. The buyer, a woman named Emily, got it just fine. Then out of nowhere, she messages me saying she wants to return it because it “looks better at a lower level.” Her exact words were basically that the eyes looked off when she put it higher up. I told her nicely that I can’t take it back for that reason. The piece looks exactly like the photos, and I’m not a big company that can just eat losses because someone didn’t like how it looked on a shelf. I’m one person making and shipping these myself. She didn’t like that. She got defensive, saying my question “didn’t ... You should go through it. I am right now, I would sell my house and if you would be able to buy it WE should get it. It has 3 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms and about 3 acres. We have to negotiate. If nothing else come over and look at it because it gives you ideas, love you. Next text: This house has an orchard, big covered pavilion, and an extra lot. Next text: he needs landscaping done. And he likes to barter, he’s from California. This is a must see husbands name. Now he’s having a yard sale and he is selling everything by the truck load. Let me know what you think. PLEASE look at it. ... Despite being better than nicotine, reminder that weed does still **** up your throat and that it's very expensive ...3h agoIt's the least harmful recreational drug, and in the end it's your own choice, but as someone who's done weed for over a year before, I highly recommend not smoking weed Five Days in Vegas Recap (elopement)3h agoSaturday 11/1 we flew in, picked up our marriage license, checked in at the Wynn, and then went to dinner at Delilah’s. I can’t recall exactly what we ate, but the food was delicious and the cocktails were fun. The vibes are what really made the place though. It felt like an escape to another era. Then we caught Jackson Browne at the Venetian. Great show (if you were there, hi!) and his son was in the audience. It was sad that the outdoor canals were all drained for F1 of course. On 11/2 we headed out to Red Rock with our photographer (Amber Garrett) and said our vows at sunset, followed by a stop at Dustland in the arts district and some iconic Fremont street photos. LMK if you have... Corporate Villains Are Coming for Us3h agoDrug companies “buy” positive research results, reveals shocking BMJ study; the entire body of Big Pharma ‘evidence’ must now be questioned. To say that Big Pharma is corrupt is an understatement, especially after a shocking new study published in the British Medical Journal found that drug makers actually purchase positive field trial results so that it will be easier, cheaper and quicker to get new drugs approved. As reported by The Daily Sheeple, financial ties between researchers and Big Pharma firms “are independently associated with positive trial results, suggesting bias in the evidence base,” according to the new study. For their study, which was published in the BMJ... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
