Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Big Lots Latest Community Discussions About Big LotsSorority brunch turned freak dance show3h agoMy daughter's (20F) sorority put together a parent brunch and then all the girls and parents went to a house of one of the girls after and then to dinner/bar. We were all dancing, girls and parents together. Everyone was having lots of fun! One of those dance circles was created where someone gently pushes you into the circle and then you solo dance for a bit while the crowd cheers you on and everyone is laughing, smiling, etc. One of the moms (whose husband was not there) decided to pull my husband (56M) into the circle and dance inappropriately with him -- very close and rubbing up against him -- and he enthusiastically obliged her for a bit with a big smile and then moved out of the ... WIBTAH? Warning: Long Post3h agoWould I Be The A Hole if I told my boyfriend to buy his own food since he refuses to help me out with my bills? I (F36) lost my job in August of 2025. I have been r3ally struggling to pay my bills since then. I have been with my boyfriend (M35) for almost 3 years now. We went on home tours with a real estate agent and settled on a home to live in together. I moved into the home in July of 2025 and he moved in the next month. I had agreed to pay a portion of the mortgage and he paid the remainder, as he is an engineer and makes a lot more money than I did. I was not planning to lose my job, and that's a whole story in and of itself. But I digress. Anyway, after I lost my job, I was ... How do I achieve the full glam look?3h agoHi everyone! Hoping for some tips to glam up my look! I don’t wear makeup on a daily basis, mostly just for going out/ special occasions. I feel like the way I do it now is fine for an everyday look, but I can never get it to look as good as I want to. As you can see I’m very pale, so the bronzy look doesn’t really work for me (not the way I’ve tried it previously, anyways). A lot of full coverage products I’ve tried also haven’t looked too good on my dry skin. Any tips for products, placement or application method is greatly appreciated! I use all drug store products now, but I’m definitely willing to pay a bigger buck for high end products that are worth it! Please lmk if yo... How much of a big deal is the Rossini Opera Festival and on a scale of 1/10 how much will it help me elevate and kicksta...3h agoHi, I have been studying under my private opera tutor, based on whos continued feedback, I have a lot of raw potential and who has been actively vouching for my capabilities. Earlier this year, they applied on my behalf and got me accepted to the "Rossini Opera Festival" which is, based on their input, a very respectable event that by attending which, I shall be given certification of participation, which will help me with potentially moving into doing opera as a career. I have never heard of this festival but as their invitation perfectly alligned with our vacation plans, we decided to accept and attend the event as an additional bonus to enjoying a vacation in Italy Can I pl... Hot take but I think JP could do well in MMA3h agoIf Jake Paul actually stopped messing around and trained strictly MMA for a year like real camps every day wrestling jiu jitsu cage work all of it he would be a problem at 185 People act like he is just some random youtuber still and its not true anymore. He has a wrestling background even if its not elite its still something, he has legit pro boxing experience, real power, decent timing, and hes a genuinely good athlete That athleticism part is what MMA fans always ignore. A lot of middleweights are not crazy athletes. Jake is more explosive, faster, and more coordinated than a lot of dudes especially outside the top guys And when you are that athletic and you train full time with good c... First Impression of my Chart? What are your observations?3h agoI feel like I’ve heard mixed opinions about my placements. My big 3 is a lot, being all water. I’ve even seen ppl list my sun/moon/rising as their nightmare placement. My little 3 is solid imo. Both Mercury and Venus are in their home sign. And my mars is good I think? Sagittarius is a fun sign. I’m curious how the blend of signs in my chart (cancer, Scorpio, Gemini, Sagittarius, Taurus, and Aquarius) come off to other people and if it’s accurate to how I actually am. Husband doubting me, and it’s bothering me3h agoI (26F) am currently enrolled in a BSN program, to obtain a nursing degree. When I was 17 I was in college and on track for pre-med but I got into alcohol my sophomore year and flunked out of undergrad. I am now sober for 5 years. My husband (34M) got a promotion about a year ago, that made our income equal. Prior to this promotion our income was closer to 70/30, with me being the breadwinner. I’m a pretty well established esthetician, and he started working at Amazon after getting out of an art career. I didn’t mind carrying us during this time, I was happy he tried to go for his dream, and was able to recognize it wasn’t going to work. He got a promotion at Amazon and we were now 50/... How do you do it?3h agoHey, I’m a long-time lurker here and I finally wanted to ask something that’s been bothering me for a while. I’ve always wanted to make my own game, and I’ve tried a few times over the past couple of years, but I can never get myself to stick with it. At best I’ll stay consistent for maybe two weeks, and then I just kind of fall off and stop. I think a big part of it is that I overthink everything. I’ll start watching tutorials and trying to learn, but then I get worried about falling into “tutorial ****,” and that just kills my motivation. It feels like I can’t find a good balance between learning and actually doing, and I end up stuck in my own head more than anything. I... Everything wrong with in my opinion (Operational Standpoint)3h agoHey guys, thought I'd make this post since I had some thoughts about Home Depot's gaps as a business. I am currently studying business, and decided to poke some holes in ops. **Everything Wrong With The Home Depot (Operations)** # 1. Knowledge Loss & “Key Man Risk” One of the biggest issues is how easily knowledge gets lost. There are employees who have been with Home Depot for 10+ years across departments like Specialty, Pro Desk, Merchandising, and Receiving. These people carry a massive amount of practical, real-world knowledge. When they transfer or quit, that knowledge disappears. Instead of replacing them with equally experienced people, they’re often repl... Just finished my first weekend of CASA training3h agoJust finished my first weekend of CASA training. Oof 😵💫. So being candid and vulnerable… We learned a lot about the importance of having parental empathy but I just can’t help but feeling angry about pregnant mothers doing drugs before and after giving birth. The idea is horrifying. I signed up for this wanting to help break some of these cycles but it sort of feels like these kids just aren’t given a fighting chance. I guess the training is really opening my eyes up to just how bad things are out there. When I was a young mother I dealt with poverty and domestic violence but I did everything to get out of it and took advantage of every single resource I could find. ... how do you know when it's time to ditch the wig?3h agohi friends. 27 years old, triple negative. I finished chemo on February 3 (10ish weeks ago?). Last week was my first week back to work after my 6 week leave for my mastectomy. This week, I'm moving teams internally (still in the same department, working with a lot of the same people though). I'm curious when people felt ok with ditching the wig at work full time? My hair regrowth is a bit slower than I'd like but I've got a solid buzzcut at this point. The weather is getting warmer and I'm really starting to **** the wig. I shaved my head in October so going through a New England winter with the wig wasn't a huge deal. I used to do errands in just a beanie or ba... People with BA/Humanities degrees making six figures: what do you do for work? How did you get where you are?3h agoI graduated with a BA in History 10 years ago, my initial plan was to become a history teacher but I realized I wasn't cut out to work in education. I didn't have a backup plan, and ended up working at a vet clinic and retail store before landing a job in construction. I actually liked working in construction, but unfortunately I could feel the strain it was putting on my body after only a couple of years and decided to get into white collar work. I landed a job at a property management company as a leasing agent, and have been working in the industry ever since then, receiving several promotions and hopping across 3 different companies. After 7 years, I've finally started mak... How do you do it?3h agoHey, I’m a long-time lurker here and I finally wanted to ask something that’s been bothering me for a while. I don't think non-FBA and black American are mutually exclusive.3h agohttps://preview.redd.it/mgfnd23pi8wg1.jpg?width=207&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=02a9bdc2824924062742dcda6933634b89d6017a TLDR: A Black person raised in America, shaped by its culture, and understands its racial system is a Black American, regardless of heritage. Oh boy, it's been a while since I made a controversial post... Anyway, to jump straight it. I'm 1st generation non-FBA (Haitian American if anyone was wondering)... I've lived in the USA my entire life. While I still acknowledge my roots, I also identify as a black American too. I bring this up because with the FBA crowd there appears to be a delineation movement and a sentiment of us vs th... Making Friends this spring 20263h agoWell… we survived another winter (barely 😅).With spring hopefully around the corner, I figured it’s time to get out of hibernation mode and meet some new people—ideally the kind who also remember what the sun looks like. So here’s the quick “about me” résumé—pros, cons, and everything in between: • I work… a lot. Like, “is this a hobby now?” level. (Pro? Con? You decide.) • Proud dad, husband, and dog owner—which are all definite wins in my books. • Well-traveled and always up for the next trip—bonus points if it involves good company and a bit of adventure. • Big hockey guy—coaching more than playing these days (turns out free time is a luxury). ... For players who want to build, explore, and be part of a tight-knit community [Hermit-style, whitelist-only]3h agoHey everyone!! I think a lot of us are looking for that one server where we can actually settle in and build something meaningful, not just another temporary world, but a place where your builds last and evolve over time. A place where you can take your time on projects, build something you’re proud of, and be surrounded by other talented players who care about quality and creativity. That’s really why I started Beakscraft. A little over two weeks ago, I started a Minecraft server called Beakscraft with some friends, just trying to recreate that feeling of a “forever world” where people actually know each other. And it’s been pretty amazing to see it start coming to life. We... MCVerse No-Grief No-Reset Survival. Permanent Claims you can come back to any time. I'm a 24 year old transfeminine woman. I'm here to look for friends that I can make online (in person would be AMAZING but I think it is unlikely haha) that are open to texting/calling/PC gaming. I mainly communicate online using Discord. More importantly, I'm looking to make friends with people who are fluent German speakers. I've been learning German for about a year now. I have a firm grammatical understanding and foundational vocabulary, so I can carry conversation fully in German over text or call, but it is often frustrating and slow for me, and I need to practice my speaking, listening comprehension, and grow my vocabulary. This is the main thing I'm look... My cat refuses to eat wet food & has allergies - can I syringe feed him extra water?3h agoMy cat (2y/o neutered male) refuses to eat most wet food, and also refuses to eat his kibbles or treats mixed with water. I've lost a cat to a bladder blockage before and so I'm very passionate about making sure my cats always have lots of access to water, both to drink and through food, and I watch their unrination closely. Here's the problem, my cat has allergies that significantly limit his diet already (he gets loose stools, gas, and throws up sometimes). I worked with our vet to see what would work best, and over 1.5 years of trying, he can really only tolerate prescription wet food (which is tight on our budget but we make it work for him), and one specific non-prescr...
