Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Big Lots Latest Community Discussions About Big LotsKochi Biennale - For Out Of Towners1h agoWe are going to be in Kochi for the next couple of days, including Christmas. Navigating through the biennnale isn't a problem, the website is detailed enough. What are some non touristy, non cafe, local food recommendations? Also, what's a good store to pick up Kerala/Kochi related fridge magnets or small items in bulk? Have to buy a lot of them. Thanks in advance! What’s one business/service you wish existed (or was done better) in Senegal?1h agoAs-salamu alaykum, I’ve been thinking seriously about investing in a business in Senegal. Before locking into any idea, I wanted to hear directly from people who live there, are from there, or spend time there. If you could wave a magic wand, what kind of business or service do you wish existed in Senegal? Some angles I’m especially curious about: \- Everyday problems you constantly deal with. \- Services you miss when you’re in Senegal (especially if you’ve lived abroad). \- The "Outbound Money" struggle: I see this mentioned a lot on this sub, how difficult, slow and expensive it is to send money out of Senegal to abroad compared to how easy it is to send it in. \... Is this a good temporary setup?1h agoI'm going away to visit family for Christmas and I'm going to be leaving my two tiels with a friend for about a week. Unfortunately their usual cage is too big for my friend's house, so I'm putting them in a smaller one. This is how I've set it up - the birds may have limited out-of-cage time at my friend's house, so I want to have lots of toys to keep them entertained - but I also don't want the cage to be overcrowded and feel claustrophobic, especially considering it's already quite a small cage. Thoughts on how I've set it up? I just want a second opinion on whether I've got the right balance or not. Thanks :) Follow up on a basic car purchase. (Mitsubishi Lancer)1h agoFirst of all, I just wanna say: big thanks to the community. There were so many comments helping drill down my purchasing decision and pointing me to things I was not aware of. Maybe its the holidays but yeah was real friendly. So basically, I am looking for a city/suburban car. Shops, work, mate's house. Prioritising stuff like easy parking, urban driving, maintenance/reliability. No need for beefy engine or big storage. TBF I won't be driving that much (maybe weekly or fortnightly). Anyways after some consideration, I basically drilled down to two cars (and then one car). **Mitsubishi Lancer** and **Toyota 86**. Budget is roughly 15k. Can go higher but hard stopping at 20k. (n... Co-working space provider facilitating money laundering. Using pawns in China & APAC. Is the company just a fro...1h agoI was an employee of a co-working space provider, one of the biggest players in the field, as an inside sales account manager, I joined the company in November 2023. When I first joined the company, they only had one inside sales for the China market on the team who was only 6 months new. During my stay in the company for only 1 year and 8 months, they were expanding the team quickly. Until the day they terminated me on August 22^(nd) 2025, there were 13 inside sales for the China market. You might think the market is doing really well, but it’s not the case at all. Even in 2024, I complained to the APAC Sales Director (Who is an Indian guy in Malaysia, first name is Chatur), "We... Is there a place in Ghana to check if an online seller or small business is legit before paying?1h agoQuick question for the community. A lot of buying and selling in Ghana happens on Instagram, WhatsApp, twitter and through referrals. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. Right now, before paying a seller, people usually rely on screenshots, word of mouth, or “ask around.” Sometime the review you read on these platform are self-review and other times the buyer is just lying. I’m exploring the idea of a public platform (something like trustpilot) where people can: 1. Check if a seller or small business has past reports. 2. Share the ROI after engaging an influencer service. 3. See patterns of good or bad experiences. 4. Share verified experiences. 5. Not ratings for... Peel it Back - BOK Center question1h agoFor anyone with GA tickets, how early should we show up? I don’t see a lot of big concerts there. Wondering what I need to do to be stage-side. Which sous vide machine works best for small apartments?1h agoLiving in a small apartment doesn't mean you have to give up on amazing home-cooked meals. If you're wondering which sous vide machine works best for tight spaces, you're asking the right question. **Size Really Matters** When you're working with limited counter and storage space, compact sous vide machines are your best friend. Look for immersion circulators that are under 15 inches tall and weigh less than 3 pounds. These smaller units fit easily in kitchen drawers and don't take up precious counter real estate. **What to Look For** The best sous vide machines for apartments have a few key features. First, you want something that clamps securely to different po... Loving someone who was already halfway gone1h agoWe were six months in when I realized we argued like people who’d been together for years. Not the loud kind of arguing. No slammed doors or raised voices. Just long pauses, carefully chosen words, and that awful feeling that every sentence was a test I didn’t know I was taking. He’d say things like, “I’m just tired,” when I asked why he seemed distant. I’d say, “It’s fine,” when it absolutely wasn’t. The worst part was how good we were on paper. We liked the same **** shows. We cooked together on Sundays. He remembered how I took my coffee. I knew which songs he skipped in the car without thinking about it. From the outside, we looked settled. Safe. But there was ... Keyboard on z flip 4 cover screen1h agoHi, I have a question is there any keyboard to work under cover screen ? , I tried CoverScreen OS form play store but it annoys me that it replaces the entire interface with its own instead of the system one and its very buggy and a lot of paywalls Modern blockbusters are so scared of taking any kind of risks (Avatar 2 spoilers)1h agoI really hoped that at least James Cameron would have the vision and artistic courage to at least take some narrative risks in the last two Avatar movies, but the first one is still head and shoulders above its sequels. The story is a lot more interesting and substantial, and--here's the big one--it actually kills some of its primary (good) characters. And that's ultimately my complaint with the new one and basically most modern blockbusters. They are absolutely terrified of killing off any of the good characters. I think it's a must, but even if you don't want to do it, stop creating so many (obnoxious) fake-outs then. It's really difficult to built the suspense, d... Anyone local looking for friends?1h agoI’m a dude in my 40’s. Im in Meridian. I mostly work from home, so I don’t get the opportunity to meet a lot of new people or build relationships. Anyone in a similar boat? Me personally, I’m into football (college and NFL) and video games. Im a little bit of a nerd… but who isn’t these days? Not a big outdoorsy guy. Anyway, feel free to DM! Well now you do! While not predominantly a Tower Defense server, it is our most developed and promoted gamemode! If you've already played other popular TD games such as Bloons Tower Defense or Plants Vs. Zombies, this shares the similar objective they share: Don't let enemies reach the exit! Buffalo Meat from a vendor in Orlen - Is it safe to eat?2h agoI went with my dad to a marketplace in a place called Orlen to buy some chicken and fish. Apparently a lot of christians live here or something. There was also a store here that was selling beef (his store sign literally said beef shop). The guy said it was buffalo meat (rather loudly and emphatically for some reason) and said a sirloin is 480 rupees for a kilo. That seems like a decent price. Has anyone bought buffalo meat from here or a similar vendor before? How safe is it to eat? Is it clean/fresh? There were some buffalo carcasses hanging from the hooks and the meat was quite red, but there was no refrigeration, and I don't want to end up with food poisoning. your kundali is hiding powerful yogas right now… here’s how to find them and judge their real strength2h agoevery yoga falls into one of these groups: raj yogas power, status, leadership, recognition dhan yogas money flow, savings, assets, rise in income mahapurusha yogas very strong personality, fame, authority (like ruchi, hans, malavya etc) vipreet raj yogas success after struggle, rise through problems daridra / dosha yogas financial stress, delays, instability your kundali already has yogas working inside it right now, the problem is most people never learn how to actually see them. yogas are not rare or special, every chart has many of them, but only a few truly give results. the real skill is knowing which ones are strong, which ones are weak, and which ones are just sitting quie... I know cat breeds are generally a mess and he was a barn cat litter so he is probably a messy mix, but I'm seeing some Norwegian Forest Cat in him. He is about 13lbs, people say he is a big boy but I've only ever had a runt mixed short hair and him so I don't have a lot of reference. He is all a dark chocolate colour, looks black but he is chocolate in the light. He has two tiny spots of white, one on his weewee area and the other right under his collar. Yellow green eyes, dark brown almost black nose and paw pads are a little lighter. He has well defined pants because the hair on his back paws gets shorter pretty abruptly. He's 7. Weird but he has never rea... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
