Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Big Lots Latest Community Discussions About Big LotsStuck loop :(2h agoSo I’m building my first custom water cooled PC, the build I took on is a pretty big task for my first one. Anyways I’m getting an issue where I can’t get the coolant past my CPU block. Well very little coolant. All parts are new from in store at micro center. Pump won’t push coolant past other than a small flow, I even have a hand vacuum pump hooked to the other side of the loop with -20/-25 psi and can’t help the coolant through, any ideas? Best Shoe For Athletic Wings2h agoIm 6’3 80kg and play pretty fast and jump a lot, I play on fairly dusty courts. I just used the big 3 quick pro 5.0 and really liked them but need a new pair now. Mildly wide foot and need great cushioning, traction on dusty courts and support (i have a history of ankle problems) Were my parents toxic?2h agoFor context, I (M) live in the UK and have recently moved out of my parent's house, now that im an adult with a real job (wouldnt recommend, work *****) I've been doing a lot of thinking about stuff that happened while I lived with them and I dunno if I'm just being dramatic, or if I dealt with toxicity at home. Starting when I was around 13 or 14, my Mum started looking through my phone. Checking search history, looking through texts, my photo gallery, basically anything considered generally private, almost as if looking for something to tell me off about. I get the search history checking, to an extent, (checking for ****, etc) but it didn't stop with looking for ****... Mindset struggle2h agoI’m 22 years old and around a year and a half of fighting mma, kickboxing, and jiu jitsu on and off. My job requires me to get shipped off and work crazy hours so I’m forced to take long breaks from fighting. I’ve been doing rolls in jiu jitsu the whole year and a half just fine. I just started sparring mma though with actual striking around 4 weeks ago. I’ve done about 4 sparring sessions so far. Since I did a lot of classes for a year and half before this and wrestled 4 years in high school I’m keeping up well and am naturally pretty good. The problem is I am afraid to get hit. It is extremely embarrassing to even talk about because I am even more afraid of people knowing that ... Finally made my own thrush packing2h agoI’ve been using cop pure cure for over a year now, but it is so expensive because it cost $30 for a small bottle and I go through one bottle and one week because of my bigs guys big feet. I finally found a perfect formula to make it at home and it’s so easy. I used some paraffin wax, Vaseline, and a lot of copper sulfate. Next time I make my next batch, I’ll be adding a few drops of Teatree oil. Regret of the night -Didn’t buy a signed Marky Ramone poster :(2h agoJust got back from Marky Ramone's show in London and wow, what a night. I've been seeing him live on and off for the past 20 years, and it's honestly amazing that he's still out there touring and absolutely killing it. They were selling signed posters at the merch stand for €10. I decided to wait until after the show to grab one because they didn't have any tubes or wrapping, and I didn't want it getting bent in the crowd. Big mistake. By the time the gig ended, they were completely sold out. Now I'm seriously kicking myself for not buying it earlier. Does anyone know if these signed posters are available online anywhere, or if there's an official ... Insider Sell Alert: $GS Director David A. Wish you kings a good night and full bags of gains! 🚀 *^(Disclaimer: This is not financial advice. Always DYOR before trading.)* Keto weight loss help2h agoI’m about 3 weeks into keto, and according to ChatGPT and basic research, I’ve definitely entered the state of ketosis. I try to keep my net carbs well under 50g, and I’m trying to aim around 1600 calories a day. I round everything up in my head throughout the day and trying to keep things simple — I focus on protein and natural foods. My goal is to put in 10,000 steps a day, and most days I do that (some days more around 7000)… I still feel very discouraged though. And I don’t want to step on a scale tbh (I’m scared). When I look in the mirror I just feel the same, and **** the way I look. I feel like I’ve lost a lot of inflammation though, and I DO feel better physically ... Hello fellow gamers I have a question on which laptop would best suit me.2h agoI am wondering which gaming laptop I should go for as I use to have a tower but recently got a job where I travel a lot and need a good laptop for on the go. Battery life isn’t a concern to me but performance to cost is the only real big concern I am having. (If there is any other thing I should consider please let me know) I just want something I can comfortably play games on it doesn’t need to be anything insane just play games at 60fps for all I care lol. I am willing to spend a decent amount of money too. Please let me know your suggestions and if you have any other questions I can answer to make finding my best laptop easier, thank you so much in advance. Edit: thanks to the goats ... Optimizing my PC for Gaming2h agoHey All, I hope you are having a great night/Day wherever you are from. I had some questions about optimizing my PC for the best performance. I know there's a lot that goes into that but wanted to see if there was a snowballs chance anyone could help or had a similar build. I'll list my set up below. But I will say that I have a 1440p monitor and want to at least hit 120fps on games. If not I mean it is what it is. That's just the goal. I was going to look into underclocking and undervolting but the process seems a little daunting, since in my head I feel like not giving my Gpu enough is just not the best for it. But hey I'm on here asking so what do I know (obviously). O... Shrubless in Seattle. Please advise 🏡🌳🌳🌳2h agoI may be listing my Seattle house for sale soon. There used to be 3 large rhododendrons between the red front door and the chimney. I cut them down because they were getting way too big. I need some bushes or something to fill the space. What do you recommend for the Pacific Northwest? It’s in Seattle on a north facing side of house. Side question, what do you think of the red door? I’m repainting it and not sure if I want to use the same color or possibly dark gray or something else? A lot of people like it but not sure what will help sell it. How should I invest my money short-term?2h agoHello! Total stock newbie. I'm 20, about to go to college in Sept abroad and want to invest my savings but don't know what the best plan is. Because I'll be moving soon, I'm going to need about 15k available to pay for my first year, and a couple thousand for a deposit, moving costs, and flight. $82,800 saved: $22,660 Roth IRA $1300 in VTI and SPYD thats grown like 33% $55,855 just sitting in a 3.5% APY savings acct I wanted to invest in something for the short term so that I can take it back out if I need it for my big move costs, but I am not sure if that's something you guys can realistically help me with. I can invest a bit so it can grow in a long t... Should I stay at my role as an IT internal auditor ?2h agoI recently moved into an Internal Audit role, specifically IT Audit, after spending about a year in Big 4. Honestly, I’m struggling to understand the point of Internal Audit at least the way it’s structured where I work. Most of the time, my role feels like being a liaison between external auditors and SMEs. A lot of what I do is just forwarding requests, following up, and coordinating information rather than actually auditing. I’m not really evaluating risks, designing procedures, or forming conclusions. It’s mostly: “Can you provide this evidence?” send to SME send back to external auditors. We do some control testing, but even that is being outsourced, which makes me feel ev... 36DD/38D looking for a lot of push up but unpadded bra2h agoi recently lost a lot of weight and even though my ***** are still big-ish and relatively perky for their size, the tops of them have become kinda flatter and makes my cleavage looks weird and squarish in tank tops, im really looking for a bra that does a lot of pushing up, but with minimal padding as most push up bras are heavily padded as well, what is a good bra that pushes up but not out? I didn't move in with my friends and they called me a cowardly white supremacist.2h agoTrigger warnings: self-harm, suicidal ideation, abortion This happened a couple of years ago, so I think enough time has passed that I can talk about it now. A friend of mine was riveted by my story and told me "You should make a TikTok series about it. You'd have so many followers!" but I have zero interest in posting my face and trauma for all to see. I've been watching a lot of "Smosh Reads Reddit Stories" though and felt inspired, so here we go! In the midst of COVID, I (26F) decided to teach abroad. I had been talking about moving in with my beloved college friend group for years, so I was pretty set on the idea of moving in with them when I returned st... Molting??2h agoSo- two days ago I received three hermit crabs (I made a differnt post about them). And After a lot of stress and research- today I finally got their new tank set up. I went to move them over and noticed one of them (nicknamed Hermie) was sitting a little funny. I went to pick him up to move him to the big tank and saw his big claw had fallen off- I don’t know what to do :(( I really want to give these crabs a good home but I feel so thrown in the deep end here!! The circumstances surrounding how I got them are not ideal- but I don’t want to just give up and send them away :(( is it possible it could be from molting?? I put him back down as soon as I noticed and I’m scared to move him ... Hack and climb Review2h agoHack and climb is a foddian-ish game that I had the chance to test out early as an avid foddian player. The game consist of pulling, aiming and launching your axe to get it to stick to the next grass platform. Pulling from the center barely give it rotation and pulling from the edge give clock/counterclockwise fast rotation depending on the edge. Each weapon have different stick zone and different abilities. It has multiple accessibility setting, starting with checkpoints for people who don't like foddian game and just want normalish platforming game to other that you unlock by getting achievement which is pretty nice. But even then, the foddian map is well done and not too punishing... Lumber yards near Allen?2h agoI am looking for recommendations for non-big box store lumber options for home projects. Anyone have any spots close to Allen they like to go to? My toughest battle is a regular Wednesday night2h agoI’m sitting here seriously thinking of drinking for the first time in months because my brain says I deserve it. I thought I was beyond this, and it’s a hard realization that this feeling will always be the case for me. This isn’t your run of the mill drinking triggers like holiday nostalgia, attending a wedding or even vacation drinks. We can build walls around those triggers because they are easy to identify. But this is a regular Wednesday night. I’ve accomplished a lot since I stopped drinking. I was unemployed, now I have a solid freelance job. I was living in a friend’s extra room, now I have my own place. I sleep well. I’ve lost 20lbs. People tell me I look great. Ther... vbc pf tips2h agoThis is from memory I havent competed in a while, they may have changed things, who knows. prolly more then I listed but I forgot. When I did it the only thing they gave u at the start was cashier expierence so if they changed something then the job path could be diffrent then what I say. Job expiernce stacking: experience stacks so if you have 4 shift manager jobs you will get 4 months of experience for that month. The job path will probably be store manager or a combination of store manager and it manement thing(depends on the sim they ussaly change the hourly rate). Both of those you are able to stack experience. Also there will be multiple of shift managers or data entry's.
