![]() Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Big Lots Latest Community Discussions About Big LotsDhgate vs Nike Limited vs Majestic MLB Jersey (Mariners) - Honest Comparison and Review26m agoRecently looked into buying my first MLB jersey and went down the rabbit hole of which one to buy. Saw all sorts of posts ripping the new Nike/Fanatics jerseys and claims that dhgate knockoffs are better quality these days. After a month of shopping around, I ended up purchasing three jerseys: Majestic Double Knit replica from eBay: $87 Nike 2024 Limited from the Mariners team store: $96 after discount ($170 retail) Dhgate via new_style_jerseys store: $21 BREAKDOWN: ————————— Majestic: This jersey was pre owned and was probably from 2012-2014 when Smoak was with the Mariners. The double stitched fabric base is very nice and thick, though probably not as breathable as t... I wanted to share this26m agoHeyah. I’m a 21yo guy from Spain who lives in the north, more specifically in the Basque Country. I have romani DNA from my mother side; my great-grandmother (my maternal grandfather’s mother) came from a calé family from Navarre and tought some words in caló (romani dialect of Iberian Peninsula) to her gadjo husband when she married him in Logroño, La Rioja. I also have DNA from Cantabria, Catalonia, La Rioja, Zamora (Lion) and in a lower percentage Basque DNA. Since I discovered my romani DNA just a few years ago I embraced it and I’m interested on connecting with the Roma community and learning more about them. In the other hand, 3 years ago I was diagnosed autistic (specifical... Advice on my first homemade NAS/Media Server26m agoHello everyone, For the past two weeks, I've been trying to build a homemade NAS and have been failing a lot. First, I needed hardware, so I bought an HP EliteDesk 800 G3 with a Core i7-7700, 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD from eBay for $95. It has an Nvidia 530 GPU, but every time I install it, nothing shows up on my monitor. I've tried all four ports on the GPU and the native motherboard display outputs, but it won't boot. As soon as I remove the GPU, it boots up fine. I'm not sure what the issue is. Then, I made the mistake of buying two used 8TB Seagate drives from eBay for $100 each, which I thought was a good deal. I learned the hard way that it wasn't. After runnin... Best portable table saw?26m agoHi! Sorry if this post is annoying, not sure what is normally posted here. I'll keep it short and sweet :). I recently started dating a carpentry apprentice a few months back and I can tell he's really passionate about what he's learning. A few times now he's mentioned things that he'd like to build, but he can't, as he doesn't have a table saw (he does, however, have a hand saw -- so I'm wondering if it's possible to buy a table setup that you can put that saw into? Is that a thing?). Since he's still an apprentice, he lives in a dorm and doesn't have a lot of space available. I was thinking it would be a nice gift idea to get him a t... Early career Crysis, How did you start in I.T ?26m agoHey guys, I'm in my third year of Computer Science. The last two years I was not taking college so serious at all, and this year I decided to take my career more seriously, and started learning a STACK wich is great, I started learning DJANGO and started getting a good grasp in the basics and even did some projects to my portfolio, but now i stumbled up a crysis wich i think is pretty commom amongst developers, learn another stack or mastering one, *** one problem lead to another, another question I have is, as IA so trendy at the moment should i stay with python and consider a carrer with IA or learn C or C++ for software engineering and compete with more experienced people in the job ... Possibly buying a 1974 MG Midget27m agoI'm a mechanic myself but I have never even touched an older MG let alone one that could fit in the back of my truck. It's non running and has been stored in a garage for the last 25 years but it's fully intact aside from the fuel tank being pulled. For 1200 bucks I don't think I can pass it up (wife always wanted an older mini) Anyone have any knowledge or know-how to these big go-carts? Best mobile VPN in 2024 according to Reddit?27m agoIt's down to Surfshark and NordVPN for me when it comes to finding a new VPN service to make my online safety better. Both look like they have good reviews, but I'm mostly worried about the protection features. From what I've read, both have strong encryption, no-logs rules, and a lot of other security features. But I can't decide which one is better for me. I'd like to know if anyone here has used either (or both!) Surfshark or NordVPN for protection purposes. Compared to what? Are their encryption methods, data protection policies, or extra security features like double VPN or malware protection very different in a big way? Feeling devastated that I got rid of a childhood stuffed animal years ago28m agoI feel so silly for making this post but I'm having a hard time. When I was a kid I had a curious George plushie. It wasn't really anything special, and at some point it was left behind at my school, someone tore it to pieces, and then my mother did what she could to put it back together. It didn't quite look right and I think I found it a bit unsettling which led to me not really liking it anymore, so some time I think in my teens I ended up getting rid of it because I disliked it at the time and I couldn't see myself ever being interested in having kept it I guess. I've honestly never really liked monkeys. I totally understand why I got rid of it, it makes sense on... My GoldenProjection Theory (Read Body Text)28m agoHi, I'm Bashii64. I'm not usually one to theorize about FNAF, I usually just leave that to the big youtube channels, but recently there's been an idea that surfaced in my mind that I really like. What if Golden Freddy, from FNAF 1 and 2, were projections caused by Fredbear being in the location? Now, this theory can only work in the Games continuity, as the books and movie may imply that Golden Freddy is THE Fredbear suit. Not completely sure about the movie, but bear with me here. So, starting off, how did I come to this conclusion? I think it's pretty simple. I was wondering why in FNAF 2, Golden Freddy has the ability to phase out of existence and appear as a hea... best option for a used bass amp28m agohii, I used to have a rumble 25 that I used for band practice and played with backline or a preamp pedal, going FOH, until i moved to a bigger city and an apartment, so i sold my amp and played only through my headphones, and the band practice in rehearsal rooms where there was usually a large Ampeg. Now i am in a band where i dont have and amp to play gigs and im looking for one. We play super soft post-rock and soft emo so i dont need a lot of watts, also playing in living rooms or basements. im playing with a big pedalboard with 2 distortion stages and space effects. whats the best or what i should me looking for in marketplace, hopefully under 250. resentful homeowner28m agoI love my husband he is a great dad and husband and good provider but there are times I wish he has better decision making skills when it comes to big purchase. Im resentful of my husband for buying the house that has so many red flags when we couldve waited. Now we need to spend thousands of dollars. We bought the house 5 months ago. Initially it was me who found the house on zillow during our house searching time. I liked the interior of the house. But during the submission of the offer in late february it was all snowing we couldnt even see the actual backyard/grass, driveway& garage. Also during the inspection, the inspector couldnt check the garage he said it was frozen and he ... Best portable table saw?28m agoHi! Friend uses Mental Health as a weapon…29m agoOkay, before I (F24) tell you the whole story, I just want to make it clear that I am absolutely not questioning the validity of my friends (F24) mental health or her struggles, I’m just struggling to come to terms with the way she brings up her mental health… Okay so we’ve been friends for like 8 years, we have a lot in common but are also kind polar opposite, like in fashion sense, personality etc, so we never really clash or argue. Unfortunately she is the kind of person who will put boys/relationships ahead of our friendship but I just look past that each time (I know I shouldn’t but I have a very small circle of friends and it freaks me out to think about it being even smaller... FYI: Seattle City Light new "time of day" rates - analysis29m agoJust a public service data point here. SCL has announced they're going to offer (optional?) "time of day" (TOD) rates in the fall of 2025. Basically, what you pay for power will depend on when you use it; evening times (5pm-9pm) Mon-Sat will be the most expensive, nighttime (midnight-6am all days) will be super cheap, and everything else is basically middle tier. Since I'm (a) a geek and (b) had too much time on my hands today, I went through the exercise of pulling down all my usage for the past 12 months, summing it up by hour, and putting it in a spreadsheet that compared what I paid with the current flat rates to what I would have paid with TOD rates. Result: One ... Advice on my first homemade NAS/Media Server29m agoHello everyone, For the past two weeks, I've been trying to build a homemade NAS and have been failing a lot. How to get a rebuilt title in Florida.30m agoI had no idea how to purchase my totaled car back and get it back on the road in Florida. Hurricane Milton caused our 2012 Prius to get totaled for nothing more than a broken back window hatch with zero water damage. It was an automatic total by USAA. I purchased the car back from copart that was step 1. Step 2. You get the rebuilt title sent to you from Copart it will say salvage/rebuildable Step 3. You must have photos of the entire car all 4 sides, bonus if you have detailed photos of damage. Step 4. You have to have receipts for the parts you purchase to repair the vehicle, even if those parts come from the junkyard. They need to verify the parts are not stolen so they must have vi... 💧ATTENTION EVERYONE!💧30m agoSo the other day my chat was talking a lot of **** about my gaming skills and said that I would get SMOKED while playing The Last of Us.
