I bleached my hair a few times in the recent years and allowed it to grow out, only doing some small trims at home. Because of the damage, I have tons of split ends that I can see all throughout my length of hair! Now, I absolutely love the length my hair is right now and don't want to lose it if I can. I keep seeing recommendations to do a hair 'dusting' to keep the length. Only, there's one problem. I have lots of hair. LOTS of hair. Lots of thick, fine hair that's almost down to my lower back. I don't think dusting is gonna be a viable option for me. What do I do? Do I have to grit my teeth and go for the big chop at a salon?

Ive recently been putting a lot of effort into trying to make the best template possible to achieve the goals of finishing tracks as quickly as possible, spending minimal time doing tedious tasks, and having a more consistent sound/loudness level. So I have about a dozen or so 8mm and Hi-8 videos from when I was a teenager. I made a bunch of movies on them with friends and now I want to watch them again. I still have the old camcorder I used to make them (an old Proscan) but after bringing it out from the back of the closet, looks like it's eating my tapes and now the slot for the tapes to go into won't close at all, so it looks like using that with some adapters is out of the question.
