Our beautiful daughter was born 23+0. If she had been born 4 hours earlier she would have been a 22 weeker. After nearly 6 agonizing months in a NICU, she is finally home and thriving! Her course was extremely medically complex. It included brain bleeds (grade 3 & 4 IVH), spontaneous intestinal perforation, pneumothorax (all in her first week of life), and much more.
