Since I recently started medicare which won't cover glp1s (yet), I'm trying an allulose + Wegovy-style diet and lifestyle change to shed 50+ lbs. I've used allulose off and on for a couple years but never experienced any glp1 response as described in various studies. But I was only using a minimal dose (2 heaping teaspoons in my 30oz coffee mug). So 4 weeks ago I jumped my dose up to 2 heaping tablespoons (~40 grams). While it's a lot sweeter than I prefer, it has definitely suppressed my appetite. I'm down to 1 meal a day, plus a morning snack. Im a relative newbie looking to set up a new planted tank that I'm hoping to eventually house a betta. I picked up a 20 long for cheap during the petco sale and am in that stage of planning things out before I buy anything else. I care a lot about my animals and want to set them up for success. Unfortunately, the water supply from my house is salt softened well water. My particular set up doesn't have a bypass for the softener and even the outside faucets have the softened water. Help…. I had perfected sourdough in the fall… but the last 2 loaves I’ve made since it got super cold have not done well.. I usually feed my started Friday night and it’s good to mix Saturday morning. But the started hasn’t been rising overnight because it gets so cold.
