Cracked exhaust manifold, you know the story. Losing coolant, big white smoke on starting. Finally bit the bullet and did new head, timing kit, belts, motor mount, spark plugs, oil, coolant, and all gaskets. Running beautifully so far! Took me probably 3 days of work, spread across a week and a half because I needed to order more gaskets (HPFP and vacuum pump) and made a few trips to a few hardware stores. I'm at the midway point of my weight loss, and this seems to be the hardest part mentally. I've lost enough weight that I had to buy a new wardrobe from the thrift store (clothes cost too much to buy brand new every 4-5 months), and I'm comfortably in a size 18/XL now. When my mom handed me a size 1X shirt at Christmas, I thought for sure it wouldn't fit and was surprised when it did. When I saw size 18 pants, I thought for sure they wouldn't fit. My cravings always start once I’m on the way home from work. I almost pulled into the liquor store parking lot, but stepped on the gas and took the next turn home. I sat in my car, considered walking there in negative degree weather. Then I pulled out of my parking spot and parked down the street. I went inside my house, made some quick dumplings, and took my meds. I’m in bed now and I feel encouraged by my self. I love having cravings. It means I can say no and rewrite the ending of my night. It feels almost empowering. It feels good.

The lamp is priced at about $20, but with a store deal plus a voucher it ended up costing me closer to $10 new! It’s the Orbit Lighting “Pink Snow” model. Finally after a lot of offline as well as online searches, I purchased the x300 pro + telephoto kit @ 1 lacs total. This is from reliance digital in Bangalore on 29tj dec evening. So I just lost my 2011 F-150 in an accident. Figured I’d use some of the money for my dream truck, a blue SuperDuty. I found this 2008 F-350 Lariat V10 (Gas) dually extended cab for 13k, talked him down to 11. It has about 180,000 miles. The frame has minimal surface rust, but not a lot. Body is perfect aside from a paint chip on the bed’s exterior. Runs great but just needs a tow module part. Overall while I don’t need this big of a truck, it’s my dream truck.
