I’ve been seeing what was a really strange occurrence the last 2 years in our yard. We have 6 big dogs, so pooper scooping can be a big job, but I’ve got some help, just wasn’t sure what it was, till this past week. I would find that the poop “carcass” is being hollowed out and replaced by a pile of fine dirt, with a \~1/2 hole being drilled down underneath. Turns out, it’s a tunneling dung beatle which is listed as a beneficial insect and does lots of good stuff. One of which is digesting cattle dung. I have a long drive way with a garden beds on the sides. Mostly woodland with pines, holly and oaks. I’m looking for light options to make it look more distinct and cozy. I don’t have a huge budget for this project. As I mentioned - my drive way is around 150 ft long, and I need to put light on both sides of the road. I was doing much worse a few years ago. Now I think many aspects of my life are better, and I don't understand why if so many things are good now why I still have 0 energy to stay clean. I struggle with many easy everyday tasks: I shower once or twice a week, only brush my teeth if I'm leaving the house, I don't do skincare even though I have a lot of products. I wanted to share a bit of my journey so far. I started out around 102 kg feeling low on energy and not really consistent with my routine. Over the past three months I’ve managed to get down to 88 kg and the difference in how I feel day to day is honestly huge. I’ve built a solid routine around training about five times a week but the biggest shift wasn’t just in the gym it was in how I approach everything outside of it.
