I'm an Ibis main and I love heli variety in games. I think the new anti-tank missile is a great addition to the Ibis. I also think the eyeball and the internal ECM are great for the Chicane. However, you still get plenty of people saying the Chicane or any future helicopters, such as a light scout heli, would be pointless and useless, as if the only thing that mattered is late game Terminal Control and Escalation.​ I think there are some valid gameplay additions that could make the Sensor/lasing pods: I think the Chicane and any scout helis should have an above rotor sensor and lasing pod. extraction shooters are really lame, mechanically. in RPGs, there's always fetch quests and talk-to-this guy quests, but they at least do a lot of work to make you not think about it like that. in extraction shooters, it's so explicit that you're just grabbing McGuffins and talking to John Dane's, that it takes all the fun out of the process.
