I (15M) have been considering cutting off contact with my parents for around 5 years now, because I have genuinely felt terrible for years living in my household. I plan to immediately move out at 17 (when I graduate high school) and get out of town. Hi everyone. I've been in a slump for the past 2 years, and I've only recently started to delve deeper into the decisions that lead me to the severe depression I've been experiencing. In the last month, I started to run again, after quitting physical activity for years. I also stopped or severely reduced the behaviours I use to run away from my life/problems. The funny part ? Trying to figure out what to get my son for Christmas. He is an active kid, and has many of the big ticket items already(bike, surfboard, yoto , kids camera…). I’ve been asking what he wants and so far nothing he has listed is something I would get him. I’m currently finishing the first semester of General Biology, but for the second semester, I’m last on the waitlist.
