Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Imperfect Foods Latest Community Discussions About IKEANew homeowner stress haul1h agoWe just bought a townhouse (!!!!) but it has been an absolute slog. Moved for a new job, living in temporary spots for the past several months, and the closing date for the house is getting delayed over and over. Honestly the main thing keeping me going is thinking about my future kitchen and daydreaming with some new cookbooks. I’ve picked up these 9 above over the past few months as retail therapy in the meantime 😅 Any favs from these? I’ve made a few recipes from Something from Nothing, Six Seasons of Pasta, Justine Cooks, and Third Culture Cooking, but only really easy/quick ones as our sublet kitchen is tiny and has barely any equipment. Timestamp + album - [ https://imgur.com/a/JRqeU1C ](https://imgur.com/a/JRqeU1C) YOLO > Everything USA Shipping only. Prices are negotiable, feel free to make me an offer. Prices include fully insured USPS priority shipping. # NO TRADES. First up I’ve got a user Strider SnG DGG. 20CV black oxide blade, OD Green G10 scale, titanium frame and clip. I’m the second owner, I have disassembled it to clean and relube. OG owner had sharpened it once, and it could use a touch up. There is wear on the blade and hardware, typical on this blade finish. No box, because Strider. # $555 ~~Next up is a Tactile Redh... How to be “disgustingly attractive” without touching your face: the real glow up guide2h agoLook, we've been fed this massive lie that attractiveness is about cheekbones, jawlines, and symmetry. Turns out, after diving deep into evolutionary psychology research, behavioral science studies, and conversations with actual relationship experts, the whole "hot face" thing? It's maybe 20% of the equation. The rest is energy, presence, and how you show up in the world. I spent months researching this because I was tired of the surface-level advice. What I found changed everything. This isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming the most magnetic version of who you already are. \*\*Step 1: Fix Your Energy Before Anything Else\*\* Your vibe is th... Did any of you guys use " natural" allergy remedies, especially before the better medications became available...2h agoHi folks, Allergy-obsessed girl here, again. I have read that here in the USA, the "good " allergy medicines for kids ( non sedating pills, eyedrops, nasal sprays) didn't really exist until the 1990s. I read that this basically meant your options were sedating anti histamines or allergy shots. If you got sick for less than a month ( which I heard was common at the time, as a single tree or grass would release pollen for less than 1 month, and many people were "mono allergic" at the time), the time commitment of shots wasn't really worth it, leaving you with "being sick" or " being sleepy" as your options. I know that in the Eastern World ... Ranking the Jet Lag Seasons3h agoThought about it carefully and waited until the YT Crowd was done. This is what makes or breaks a season for me and what I'm looking for. Game design: Obviously good use of a map and the game being interesting. Travel/Showcasing: I want to see things that most travellers may not see. Find some interaction on the ground with what's there. Execution/Content: Sometimes it's gameplay, other times it's just how things play out or how the JetsLag as they say. But also memorable content/notable things happening helps. Other times it's editing decisions that can help or hurt a season. Vibes matter, the more predictable things get, the lower the score. Surpri... Cat running around while in labor???3h agoAge: 24 Location: Wyoming, USA My cat (47f) is in labor, judging by her size she's only halfway done, but she keeps leaving her nest and running around 😭 is there a reason she's doing this? Also, she has one of her kittens from her last batch (5 mos/f) in the bed with her. The kitten isn't hurting or even them, it's like she's guarding them. Not concerned, but just wondering if that's common? I haven't contacted a vet, as she's only been in labor since early this morning and she's not acting like there's anything wrong. I even put food and water by her bed so she didn't have to get up. I'm mostly just wondering why she's... What Is "Ham" in the USA?3h agoCould you please explain to a non-American what "ham" is? I often hear people talk about holiday ham and leftover ham dishes. Is it simply a pork leg? Or in the USA is it a more processed product made from ground or emulsified pork parts? I also looked at grocery stores, and it's not clear to me why ham is considered holiday food. For example, a ribeye roast can cost $150, while ham is usually around $30–50, which seems like a normal meat price. I would be grateful if someone from the USA could share their interpretation of what Ham means there. Also, why don't people buy it regularly like other cuts of meat (for example, chicken thighs at a similar price) and instead... Community in-game tier list: Route 5/16 Version Exclusives3h ago...and Emolga! We have BW Psychic exclusives next, both being fairly slow. After these we can finally face Elesa. Let's see how good these are! Also we will have Basculin next round, let me know if you want to vote for both versions, Red stripe and Blue stripe, or just keep it simple and vote for both at the same time. Also thank you for good discussion once again! Enjoyed going through all of them, we will have re-evaluation round in 3-4 roundish so keep eye on that! Some tier changes within the tiers, and finally Audino dropping to D. Anyways, we have some results! **Last round voting results:** **Carracosta C+:** Mechanically, Carracosta functions almost identically to Crustle: ... Specific nutrients in the morning vs evening to support circadian rhythm3h agoThis is a topic I kinda just stumbled on recently but I've been doing a lot of reading on it and figured I'd share what I've found. If this is old news, sorry about that. I personally feel like the importance of our circadian rhythm gets overlookeda a lot when it comes to our overall health. Its also interesting that many of the nutrients I list below are common deficiencies in the USA. I'll throw a few of the papers I've read at the end. I would love to know what others think and if they have any experience with this. Also I'm going to post this in a couple subreddits so apologies if you see it more than once.
