Mentally and emotionally I'm totally slammed by where we are now politically and internationally. And between Dec 2025 and Feb 2026 30 percent of my students graduated in Dec. And another 20 percent quit college. I'm sitting here knowing we can count them because they got good grades, then transferred, or are taking a break. Last week I trapped and rescued three kittens from a colony that I have been working to TNR. So far I have trapped 28 cats some of them kittens. All kittens are with fosters now. One of them is receiving treatment — this little guy would never have survived the streets. He is still wheezing, but there is no open-mouth breathing. He was saved just in time! He is on doxycycline and nebulizer treatment, as well as antibiotics. This is why I do this: to give these vulnerable animals a second chance at life.
