My (23 f USA) female cat (unspayed, 2) recently had to undergo surgery for a hairball obstruction and had constipation complications during recovery. $10,000 in vet bills later she is seemingly doing okay, however since said events I’ve made an effort to incorporate more wet food / treats into her diet to put some weight on her as well as regularly (as instructed on the box) putting hairball control gel on her paws.
