Jamaican, Guyanese, Mexican, Creole, southern USA, etc tend to have a much larger use of heat in their food. I would imagine the diaspora is similar, so why is the food a bit more “bland” when it comes to heat?

I tried drying a few green turned bowls quicker than waiting a year or more for them to dry. I tried not coating them with a few different products and without any sealer. The safest method that didn’t crack them was in a food dehydrator and coated with Tree Saver Green Wood Sealer from Crafts Supply USA. I cut my own blanks from logs and they were really wet, so wet I had to stop turning frequently to clean my face shield off so I could see, if you’re using store bought blanks you might not have to seal the ones turned bowl , I also waited a week to put the bowl in the dehydrator so it could lose moisture in the beginning slowly doing this helped prevent cracking. I know I could delete my non relevant work experience but then I would have a lot of open space that I don't know what I would do with.
