I feel extremely low right now. My college life was really difficult. I genuinely believed these people were my friends, but over time I realized they never actually cared about me the way I cared about them. I used to help them with everything — dropping them off for exams, paying for their food, taking care of them when they got admitted to hospitals, and helping them through my local contacts whenever they needed support. Last year tried my 1st attempt at making brisket pastrami. Without reading the fine print I made a cardinal sin and brined without PP#1. Most of the comments let me know I F,d up lol. Couldn’t wait to redo this cook. 7day wet brine, 8 hour water bath, 24 hour pellicle dry rub. Just popped it on the smoker for the overnighter. I will update the cook process in Part 2 tomorrow. Hey guys, I've been dealing with hemorrhoids for the past year or so due to a mixture of using the toilet too long / constipation. There would be days i would be sitting on the toilet for over 20-30 minutes doing absolutely nothing and I guess that created a lot of strain and that strain caused my hemorrhoids (I squat instead of sitting), at first I wasn't concerned at all and did absolutely nothing to try heal them until I took a picture, I didn't even know what hemmorhoids looked like after several months of pain and agony. Howdy folks, I've been a people pleaser all my life and gave out tips even when I got bad service. This past week, I did not tip at a take out Mexican food truck and also at a Vietnamese restaurant where they assemble your food at the counter and take it to go. Both places wanted a 20% default tip and I declined and it felt GREAT. I thought they would give me a nasty look or say something offensive but they didn't. I was so relieved.
