I made this mostly focusing on the goal of giving people a glimpse into the belief system itself—how Jehovah's Witnesses think. It is also meant to show that JW are very much a real cult, since many people downplay just how high-control the organization is. I’ve always been too nauseous to eat if I’m in the hospital due to my gastroparesis, so despite having spent over 100 days in the hospital in the last three years, this is my first admission I’m trying the hospital food! This is in Oregon, USA. Slide 1: chicken pot pie—7/10. Surprisingly well seasoned, crust was flakey, though a bit too high of a crust to filling ratio, surprisingly “real” tasting (didn’t taste like one of those frozen pot pies). This is not a rant or review, just a curious observation. Staying in one of the newer fancy hotels, great everything but what's memorable is a No attitude to everything that's doable, instead of a spirit to try to make things happen for you.
