This weekend I was eating frozen chicken nuggets from Walmart and happened to bite into an extremely hard and jagged nail. It was fully inside of the pre-cooked nuggets and has caused tooth pain. I’m appalled and cannot believe that this happened to me. I’m curious if there is any sort of legal path that could be taken as it is obviously not acceptable to have a literal metal nail inside of my food. As the title says, I am thinking about getting a puppy within the next year. I currently have two cats who have lived with a dog in the past, so I'm not really worried about them getting along as long as I introduce them in a slow, controlled way. My previous dog was a senior chihuahua pug mix and wasn't very food motivated. All 3 of them really just grazed. Since I'm now considering a puppy, I know it's unlikely that feeding time will be that easy. I'm considering either feeding my cats at certain times of the day or getting a doggy door for them. Hello! I want to start learning about foraging but I’m not sure where to start. I’m currently in Belgium, but will be returning to the USA (Kansas) in the summer. My goal with this is to be able to harvest or grow as much of my own food as I can manage. I will be starting an indoor garden (in an apartment) to help with this, and right now I’m looking to get the basics as well as some recipes so I can get a good knowledge base on foraging before I start trying to do this for real. Made some BBQ for friends and family to enjoy for the game. 1 16 lb Brisket, 6 racks of ribs, 100+ wings. Made the brisket on the WSM (easier to cook and less fuel). Ribs were made on the offset Saturday evening and rested overnight. Made the wings first thing Sunday morning. Brisket was straight and to the point, seasoned with my own beef rub. Smoked at 215 for about 4 hours, then I cranked the heat up to 250-275 for the last 7 hours or so, and rested overnight. I got my hands on one rack of aged pork spareribs to taste test.
