I used to like when mom used to put timur in achar once a while in Nepal but after coming to USA and trying sichuanese foods, my love for timur has gone next level. I love the tingling sensation and the mouth numbing feeling after eating it. Its a different kind of spice and pain that you normally don’t get from chilli peppers. At first I tried nepali timur ko chopp but it was more spicy and less timurish flavor (and processed). So I went to the asian market and bought these Sichuan peppercorns. The smell when I open the jar is intoxicating. I put these in almost every foods like chicken, chatpatey, momos, chowmein etc. Some of my friends do not like it though. Do you enjoy it?

Location: California, USA. I have a CDL A, driving locally for a food service company currently. My last company had us take our 30 minute lunch after our 15 minute pre trip inspection. My current company is strict about taking lunch in between our 3rd and 5th hour. This is the only company in my life that works like this. So my question is: Is it legal or illegal to clock out for lunch any time before your 5th hour, or does it need to in between the 3rd and 5th if operating under California state law and not DOT?
