I’ve just received another Huel Black order and the text that says the flavour is now tiny. I can see this is Black Edition, the colour of the packet gives it away. But why is the flavour so small and incidental? I can’t be the only one with several different flavours in the cupboard, having to pull each one out in turn and squint to find which flavour is a downright hostile user experience. Is there a reason why the flavour can’t be in big text where it can be seen at a glance? Even better, also put it on the side of the pack so it can be read without having to take it out of the cupboard.

My friend was gifted a wagyu lifter steak that we will be having after the Broncos shock the Patriots on Sunday! I’ve pretty much cooked everything beef, but not this. The packaging is compromised, but it looks like only a penny-sized spot of freezer burn. I’m thinking just salt & pepper, sous vide at 125 degrees for 4 hours, slice into 3/4” strips and sear very quickly in clarified butter on cast iron. A “lifter” steak is nothing I’ve ever had when we process our beef cattle. Is it more like a brisket, a flank steak, or a rib cap? What are the all-mighty sous vide community recommendations? Had a strange experience. Ordered from Swiggy and saw that delivery guy was near my door. He does not ring the bell but proceeds to put my food in a bag I leave on the door handle (early morning bbasket delivery). I heard him and opened the door, he was trying to take a photo of the food, probably to show it was delivered. I did not opt for no door bell delivery or anything. My friend (33, PNW USA) adopted her cat (male, neutered, 2 years old) from a cat cafe about a year ago. He has, for the most part, adjusted well - she has another cat and they are bonded and clearly love each other. When we picked him up from the cat cafe he had HORRIBLE gas. Like, could clear an auditorium. Horrific. I have never experienced that from any animal, much less a cat.
