The solid gel food is meant for older plants and is fed with tweezers to the traps, but no ingredients are listed. But its miraculous nature is not limited to mere composition, style, and eloquence only, but also to the precision of word selection in every sentence and every position when speaking about the great divine creation. Among the characteristics of the Quran's miraculous language is: selecting one word from among dozens of synonyms, yet it carries a precise and deep meaning that leaves an echo harmonizing with scientific facts that were not discovered until centuries later. If another word had been used, this harmony would have been lost. The Quran has kept... Is this food good?5h agoI have one green terror 4 inches and I have two Jack Dempsey‘s just about 3 inches. Ideas for a Cross Culture Class6h agoAnyone have any ideas for a Coss Culture Class? I have to teach it every week and I'm running out of topics. Some context, it's in a computer lab so space for activities is limited, but the teacher also asked that I keep it more informative and not to give much work on the students in my sessions. So no food allowed in the room, no big spaces for crafts, and no homework/assignments. I'm Irish and I am encouraged to teach about Ireland as my students generally don't know much about it. Can teach on other cultures too The topics I've covered so far are: \- Breakfast & Food around the world \- Growing up in Ireland \- The USA & Canada (as I... Life After Islam: Emptiness, Nihilism, Finding Purpose, Finding Justice and Handling Hard Times Without God7h ago\[**Help Needed to correct this Article (if you have time)**: I was asked by fellow ex-Muslims to write an article on this subject from an ex-Muslim perspective. Since we (i.e., ex-Muslims) are just beginning our journey (as atheists), while you people have already mastered it, so please (if you have time, then) help correct the mistakes in this article and criticize it as much as possible. Thanks\] ===== Many ex-Muslims who leave religion experience a profound sense of emptiness. This feeling is real, painful, and often isolating. Yet, here is a paradox: * Atheist societies like Japan, China, Vietnam, and Korea have thrived for centuries without belief in a deity. How? * They have b... Is it a good time to travel to Tehran?7h agoI've seen so many different posts about this. My question is, Im irish with a duel citizenship with the West. Is it safe to travel nowadays or what's the best way of doing it? If I want to travel to USA or Canada, is Iran a banned country? I've met so many Iranians and they're beautiful, respectful and the food and culture is gorgeous. I'd go with a friend and want to see the beautiful country. What's your opinion on it? My take on Larian7h agoAs a guy who generally doesn’t like Gen AI, I find this to be a more acceptable usage. They pretty much said that they used Gen AI for references, much like how a typical artist would use images they searched up on the internet for reference. And I don’t mind people using Gen AI if you just want to have something pretty to look at on your phone, or for convenience in work. But the moment you proclaim yourself an artist, that crosses a line. Personally I just can’t accept anyone with a lack of true understanding of their own artwork as an artist. To me that’s like ordering food and saying you’re the chef. AI shouldn’t be allowed to be trained on art by artists who haven’t consen... US MCW Menu 1 for the WIN!!!7h agoHi folks! What we have here is a 2022 US MCW, Menu 1 Beef Stroganoff! Let me start off by saying, I've never had this menu before, and I was very pleased with what it delivered! Info on MCWs can be found here: https://www.dla.mil/Troop-Support/Subsistence/Operational-rations/MCW/ Current menus here: https://www.dla.mil/Portals/104/Documents/TroopSupport/Subsistence/Rations/MCW/MCW_Menus_ACR_C_022_050625.pdf You can buy some on Amazon or Ebay! My menu predates the current menus listed above, that's why it's different! Pics 1-2 show packaging and contents. Pic 3 shows the orange beverage base while it was "reacting" with the water. No concerns as it tasted grea... More gifts have arrived! 💙8h agoThank you so much to u/delbius u/geminerva and u/summerdog- !!! Merry Christmas to all of you!💙🎄 What should i Do?8h agoMy exchange year in the USA turned into a nightmare I’m a 17-year-old exchange student from Central Asia, currently in Oklahoma. I know how lucky I was to get this opportunity — only about 50 students from my country were selected — and I really wanted to experience American culture. Instead, I feel like I’m just trying to survive until I can go home. I live in a very small town. There’s almost no cultural exchange — we mostly just sit at home. The school is small and academically weak, and it’s been extremely hard to make friends, especially as an Asian student. I’ve experienced a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle racism. Some classmates literally ignore me while talking to ... Expressing dismay with Markle's glubbing onto Girl Scouts for clout9h agoHello all, this wonderful member "B737LadyCaptainSWA" did her due diligence in expressing her dismay to the Girl Scouts organization. I wanted to highlight her contributions here, that were in a post, because she pitched in. Hopefully some others do the same. Here was her comment: "Wanted to update folks on finally receiving a phone call from a representative at Girl Scouts of the USA. Had a very nice call yesterday with a rep. Apparently, a good number of peeps have been calling regarding Farcewell Productions partnering up for the Cookie Queen movie. Rep wanted to know why I felt it wasn't a good partnership. I provided numerous examples, from "credible"... Special promotion, $5 bucket now only $309h agoSomething is killing the Elves.9h agoMy name is Saint Nicholas, and I've worked my will every Christmas for the past…Lord, it's been so long that I don't even know anymore. Serving my fellow man, delivering presents to billions of children of varying faiths, and delivering to countries of varying cruelties. My heart aches every Christmas whenever it seems that the main practitioners of hatred seem to dominate the world. There have been good years, and there have been bad years. However, I will tell you about what might've been the worst year I've had. Yet, the horror of which I speak isn't spawned by the world of men but rather here in the poles, both north and south. It began on a particularly ... They finally priced me out10h agoEDIT: I forgot to mention, whole wheat baked in-store loaves went down to 383g from 425? 420? grams, somewhere in that range. And 600g loaves of rye went from $4 to $4.25, but $4 if you're an optimum member. They're keen to get that bread price fixing class action money back from us. To begin with, let me say that I'm on disability, and have to get deals where I can, or my budget isn't manageable. I've been buying less at Superstore since the boycott started. I consistently bought their $1.50 whole wheat baguettes at 50% off, when they were stale enough to use as masonry. I'd soak, not dip, soak them in my coffee to get them soft enough to eat. I was also quit... Solo trip to Colombia and/or Peru10h agoHi everyone, 28M from USA looking to go on my first solo trip abroad. I have off from work for 14 days so I can probably travel for 12 days. I’d like to go to Columbia and spend some time in Cartagena, Bogota, Medellin, maybe Cali. I was also thinking of maybe going to Peru and staying in Lima for a bit then Cusco. I’m interested in culture, food, history, nature, maybe hiking or beaches, meeting people, and staying active. I was wondering if anyone has been to these countries/cities? If so, any advice on which country to choose? How many days per city is ideal? Also, will I be OK if I only know how to speak English? I literally only know the most basic Spanish that I learn back in midd... Solo trip to Colombia and/or Peru10h agoHi everyone, 28M from USA looking to go on my first solo trip abroad. AI is the future and you need to get over it.10h agoThere is nonstop whining about AI, people boycotting games for using AI voices or animations, people complaining about AI songs, AI art, basically anything to do with AI is ***** on by the internet for almost no real reason. 1) AI is literally the future. There is no amount of complaining, boycotting, or preference, that will have even the slightest change to the AI driven future. 2) I have an art degree and have been playing music for the last 22 years, I've sold paintings and sculptures as a side passion, and paid my bills as a musician in several bands. SUNO creates better music than any artist, Grok and other image generators create absolute masterpieces. You can say they'r...
