[USA, 30] My husband and I adopted a 15.5 year old cat just under two months ago from the shelter. Every few weeks she’ll puke up her food. We’ve taken her to the vet numerous times and did labs, they said she was fine. We’ve done the bland diet as per the vet. We’ve also tried feeding plain chicken, plain pork, tuna, friskies the shelter gives her and as of this week, every single thing makes her puke. We are at a loss on what to do. She’s super energetic, running around, literally sitting on my lap right now purring, and the two vets we went to last week said she was ok. Thanks!

When I first tried to lose fat, I did it in the most chaotic way possible. Starving myself, running even though I ***** it, and wondering why nothing changed. It took me way too long to realize that my body wasn’t the enemy; I was just making everything harder than it needed to be. When I began eating enough protein and stopped viewing food as a trick, things finally started to change. I stopped bingeing at night, my hunger subsided, and I felt like a human once more. 30F USA visited ER vet this AM; cat is 11, spayed. I am in grad school and paying for vet care w student loans basically. Yesterday my siamese mix was coughing a lot and tilting head very strange; not eating much but eating some wet food. She's acting very groggy and lethargic. We just introduced a new 8 year old cat a month ago and it is going great. The new cat is polite but follows her around a lot; doesn't attack, just watches, and I think she is not resting much and is hypervigilant; growls a lot despite relaxed body language. My dog was showing signs of developing pancreatitis (according to my vet). She is on a just food for dogs balanced remedy diet and has been on this diet for a pretty long time now. It’s super bland though and she has really lost interest in it. Sometimes she eats it and other times she just walks away. I had her on the Royal Canin gastrointestinal diet before this but her stool was pretty runny and the balanced remedy diet helped that problem a bit more. Any other low fat options? Maybe low fat and high fiber options? I’m open to homemade diet recommendations too. She doesn’t seem to handle chicken or pumpkin very well, the fat percentage recommended for her was from 0.5 to 2%

We have three indoor cats- two 7 yr olds and a 9 month old male long hair domestic. The youngest just disappeared in the house for a few hours, which is weird for him since he’s usually a squirrelly guy and likes to play with the older kitties and cuddle on the couch.
