The title basically gives the gist of my issue. I (22, USA) have a cat (14 mos, neutered male) that has has runny, green diarrhea with occasional streaks of bright red blood for the past couple of months. Vet has done a fecal and has said no parasites- I still dewormed everybody just in case. He’s also been treated with 2 courses (a 4-day and a 7-day) of Metronidazole, along with Proviable (all vet prescribed) with no improvement. He is also struggling with the litterbox and is routinely going outside but nearby or on soft furniture. TLDR: I’m an anxious and inexperienced traveler who loves privacy and isolation, considering leaving for Galapagos within a week(!) and with nothing planned or booked as of yet after dreaming about it for years. Feeling overwhelmed by the complex island-hopping itineraries and packing lists of gear I don’t even have. I want to stay a month or two. I don’t have the budget for opulence, but hoping for privacy and quiet. I’ve been feeding a stray cat for about a year and I live in northern USA so it gets really cold in the winter so I built her a shelter (tote, straw, insulation). She started using it and then one day about a week ago we saw kittens on our porch. Four kittens in total, looking to be about 3-4 weeks old. I’ve been feeding them Purina wet kitten food and they have fresh water. Now obviously we are planning on getting her and the kittens spayed/neutered, but I’m wondering what’s a good game plan given that mom cat does not want to come inside. I’ve been told to wait until they’re 6 weeks to take them in and get her spayed with TNR and I guess I’m just here asking for any other ...

Realistically I can eat 3x a day maybe 4x if it’s a snack. College/work doesn’t give time so I do preparations. There’s not many bulk ideas online unless it requires eating huge amounts I only have a okay appetite. I live in USA any recommendations on high calorie carbs, meats, snacks,desserts fs even so I can get an idea or make ideas with it. I’ve began making my own protein bars as it gets pricey than I have a weight gain shake that I only drink 3x a week messes up with my stomach since it’s heavy. It can be ingredients or ideas! I know essential oils aren’t always the greatest thing, particularly for someone like me who is fragrance-sensitive.
