I’ve seen a few posts over the past year or so of people struggling to get their cat to the vet due to being unable to get them into a crate. I’m here to tell you it IS possible to train them to simply walk in!! From the very beginning I randomly pull out the crates and throw treats inside. The cats learn to like the crates, they are a snuggly place to curl up and it also makes them think of food. I (F21) brought home (USA) quite possibly the sweetest cat on the planet. She is about 5 years old and only had one owner before me who surrendered her because he had to go to jail. I can tell that she was treated very well. No fear of humans at all. When I get home from work at 4:15 and up until bed, at 8:00, we spend time together. I’m very confused & lost with the whole tipping culture. Imho, tipping to reserved for services that are provided excellently but are “free” to me. For example at a restaurant, I’m not “paying” the server/busser/expo to serve me (I understand it’s in the price to some extend), they hussle to make sure we’re taken care of so we take care of them when it’s time to settle up. Valet is also a good example of this ( although hotels charging absorbent valet parking fees per night is ridiculous), the valet aint getting any of that Valet fee yet their the ones hustling to get my car.
