My cat Miley is estimated to be 15 and I've had her a little over two years. She is spayed. The vet is aware of the issue but continual visits are out of budget. T;DR she's pooping in the kitchen despite having two litter boxes. I cannot close any door to the kitchen. I've tried multiple things that have not worked and my last resort is an electronic caller that does not shock. I'm looking for advice. \---- to preface, I know this is going to be unpopular and I accept that. This is why I'm using a throwaway. However, I do still want to ask because I am straight up at the end of my rope at this point and do not know what else to do. ... Food business article on cheese featuring formo3h agokey paragraph - no sales yet while waiting for regulatory approval **Some companies are still trying to bring new products to market.** The Berlin-based startup Formo produces cheese alternatives using precision fermentation. "We modify microorganisms so that they produce milk proteins," explains founder and CEO Raffael Wohlgensinger. This makes it possible to produce cheese without cow's milk that is identical to the original. Just at the beginning of this year, the food-tech company received a loan of 35 million euros from the European Investment Bank (EIB). However, since Formo's "lab-grown cheese" falls under the Novel Food Regulation, it is not yet co... Advice needed3h agoI've had a busy few years. I lived and worked in the USA for 5 years, and the Republic of Ireland for a year before that. I am British. In January 2025, my USA employer made me and 64 others redundant with a $10,000 pay off. I decided to go home, accepting a job in South East England near my family. When I became unemployed in 2025, I was applying for 4-8 jobs a day. After returning to the UK I had two job offers within five days. Fast forward to February 2026, and my employer in England has made me redundant, and finding a new job has never been more difficult. To make it worse, the UK Government says I can only get the bare minimum for benefits as I have not paid enough UK tax in th... First time traveling far4h agoI'm a 42-year-old (will be 43 in a few weeks) African American male (if that matters) from the USA. I've only been to Colombia and the Dominican Republic, and I only know English and some basic Spanish. I've never traveled far, so this will be my first time. I've done a lot of research, with most of it being here on Reddit. Japan wasn't on my initial list, honestly. I didn't plan to go until the next year or two, but I kept hearing good Things, most travelers seemed to love the people and food, said they're travel friendly, and that there's a lot to do, etc. It feels like it was on 90% of people's top 5 lists, so I'm taking the plunge. Trade loops make no sense4h agoPrague is the best5h agoAfter spending substantial part of the last 25 years in USA / London plus countless visits to major cities like Paris, Vienna, Munich… I can safely conclude Prague is BY FAR the most superior city in safety, civility, cleanliness, quality of transport, homelessness, etc. on top of it, it has the best beer, best looking chicks, and best prices across the board despite rising cost of living. High end food scene doesn’t compete with places like London or Paris and ethnic food isn’t as diverse… but honestly I don’t see that as a major issue in a place to live. Never change, Prague. Rahit Maryādā: The Sikh Code of Conduct — History, Structure, and Significance5h ago# Introduction: The Question of Sikh Identity and the Need for Normative Guidance Among the living religious traditions of the world, Sikhism occupies a distinctive and philosophically rich position. Born in the Punjab of the late fifteenth century through the teachings of Guru Nānak Dev (1469–1539) and developed through a lineage of nine subsequent Gurus culminating in Guru Gobind Singh (1666–1708), the Sikh tradition has always concerned itself not merely with metaphysical questions but with the intensely practical problem of how the devout ought to live. The relationship between belief and conduct, between interior spiritual transformation and exterior embodied practice, is nowher... ****'s Kitchen Season 28 - Episode 4 (part 2)7h ago**Dinner Service** The doors of HK New Orleans opened for another service in the restaurant’s debut in the Big Easy, and once again, Gordon Ramsay’s flagship restaurant was the place to be for a world class dining experience. As the guests flooded in, the camera focused in on several familiar faces, namely, the eight returning winners and runners up, who were all clearly enjoying the experience of being back in Hell’s Kitchen on the other side of the hot plate. However, there were other notable guests, as the camera seemed to catch a glimpse of someone who looked like Nora the Event Planner admiring the restaurant’s design, while another shot found Ramsay’s old mentor, Marco Pierr... We are in college, and he was raised in Korea and now we all live in California going to school. His girlfriend is not actually on the lease and doesn't pay rent, but has fully moved in and sleeps here every night. I can't exactly judge, as my girlfriend stays here two nights a week, but there is an extreme difference between them. His girlfriend, who is also Korean raised in Korea, is so extremly loud at all hours. She is constantly screaming and banging on walls, and because we have no idea what she's saying as it's all in Korean, me and my other roommate are extremely confused. Th...
