As salmon population declines, the Southern Resident orca population (in BC, Canada and WA, USA) has diminished greatly. Which is really sad. Why don't they "just try" eating something else? We know they're physiologically capable of eating different foods. And the seal population in Puget Sound is healthy. Do they not know how and fail when they try? Or is there some behavioral deficit that prevents them from even *attempting* to hunt something they weren't taught to? idk I'm trying to wrap my head around it. Because from a "human" perspective, if I was running out of food and I saw another group eating seals, I'd give it a go.

We noticed that our little guy (2 year old) was eating a little bit slower, taking a couple of hours to finish breakfast and dinner, and now noticing a behavior change where he is often opting to eat with his paws. I was gifted this Meyer plants and have it for a year. I have noticing this yellow spots growing it. But could not find anything about this yellow spots on it, plus it has these black spots on underside of the leaf for some reason. Which is perfectly underneath each individual yellow spots. If anyone can please tell me what is wrong with my plant, I would appreciate it. I also started using neem oil on it during sundown, but nothing is happening.
