My first solo trip was a few weeks ago. I went to Krakow & Zakopane, Poland. I’ve never felt so safe night or day by myself, even at home (USA). It was an absolutely beautiful, welcoming people, great food and drinks, lots to see and do, very affordable, and easy to maneuver. Now that the bar is set so high, I’m not sure where to go next (in about 6 months). A few places I’d like to visit are Iceland (when the northern lights are likely to be seen), Croatia/Bosnia/Montenegro (all 3 in one trip), and do the 102-mile Cotswold Way hike in England. TLDR: visiting China as an American, we found 4 kittens maybe less than a month old in a dumpster, which we took back to our hotel, one of them seems to have a pretty serious flea problem.
