A few days ago I flew up for a family emergency. My mother was out of the state and my sisters who were both minors got in a fight and one of them got arrested. Didn’t know when my mother was coming back so I flew up. Cheapest flight I could get home (where I live with my Dad) is a month from now and I am down to 12 dollars (5 and some change in cash) . Noticed our cat, neutered male, 6 years old, was losing weight. 30% of his body weight lost in 2 months. Multiple trips to the vet and they thought it was a GI issue. Before we could get him in for an ultrasound and endoscopy, he blocked. Emergency Vet unblocked him, but he had trouble waking up and getting warm due to weight. He wasn’t healing. Got worse. Hey all. I have a male cat (info below) who had a visit to the kitty cat hospital because his bladder/urethra was blocked. He’s all good, as happy as can be, but he isn’t the biggest fan of his prescribed wet food. He eats a whole can (5.5oz) of Hills Prescription Diet Urinary Care c/d a day (1/2 at 8 a.m., 1/2 at 8 p.m.). For the most part, he will eat his wet food - but he takes his time and we can tell he doesn’t love it, as he tries to eat our other cat’s dry food (Purina Complete) constantly.
