Hi Everyone, I’m hoping someone can give me some assistance/advice. I recently received a parcel from Japan (not too big or heavy, if that matters at all) with contents worth £650 - including the shipping cost. It was delivered with no indication of there being any further fees, and then a few days after delivery I received an email saying that there was an Import Charge to pay (see attached photo). I had an order of roughly the same value, from the same company, delivered by FedEx not too many months ago and there was no additional fees to pay so I don’t know why this one is different. I’m sharing this because I believe I have been affected by a false delivery attempt by FedEx, and I want to know if others have experienced the same issue. According to the delivery log provided to me, there was only about a **1-minute delay** between the alleged delivery attempt and the parcel being rerouted to the depot, with me then being told to collect it myself. I also have video evidence that I believe supports my position. When I raised this, I was told the driver followed the correct process, even though the log appears to show otherwise. Hello, I’m a semi frequent buyer with buyee (this is my 4th shipment) and I usually consolidate items. I’ve had packages shipped using international ePacket light when they’re small enough, but I’ve also used international parcel (AIR). With both services, I accrued small customs fees (receiving in Canada) I have a larger package that has significantly higher shipping rates, I think this is because it is many larger items like 12” records and CDs. I got a package to be sent to me to Lisbon from Asia. I’d like it to be delivered to a physical address of a delivery point or (even better), if it’s a DHL/fedex distribution center (this type of a point/centre which is owned and staffed by the parcel service themselves and not a usual delivery point on a street, ie. a grocery store, pappeteria etc). Basically the title. I’m based in Europe and I used to rely on my country post services to send parcels to my clients in the US. Then USPS would take care of the rest once the parcels arrives at the US border. Not anymore since august 2025. All postal services are suspended. I could use FedEx or UPS but it’s absurdly expensive (it would cost me +100$ instead of the 7-12$ it used to cost) I was hoping the situation would eventually get fixed but it doesnt seem to go anywhere and all private alternatives are simply too expensive.

Just finished rehearsal for a 5.7kg shoe haul to the East Coast (dropped all boxes). Box came out to 39x39x39. I went to submit the parcel and almost had a heart attack—the cheapest line it gave me was USPS for $250+. All the UPS and Tax-Free lines were locked out at the bottom. Turns out, if you select "Stretch Film" or "Moisture Bag" as value-added services, it completely blocks you from using lines like UPS(HK)-8000 because they don't accept wrapped boxes. Would you recommend going with USPS or would u try to contact acbuy to remove the stretch film and moisture bags?
