New Moons give us the opportunity to start fresh, and the Sagittarius New Moon can inspire an adventurous spirit. The Winter Solstice occurs two days after the New Moon, marking the day with the shortest hours of light. This New Moon favors doing something behind the scenes that pays off later. Since the New Moon is at 28 degrees and 24 minutes, late-degree New Moons often carry a sense of urgency or “last call” symbolism. You can look at this as a reminder of how quickly time passes and how easy it is to miss an opportunity, especially if you’ve been procrastinating when it comes to ma... Losing my mind from lack of work.33m agoI just need to vent because I feel like I'm going crazy. When we initially accepted orders to overseas, the company I worked for was completely okay with me working remotely. I already was, so there really would be no change. After PCSing, I bought an entire office setup because I couldn't wait for our furniture to arrive before I had to return to work. I was immediately caught in layoffs. Literally within minutes of logging in. It left me completely devastated. Insult to injury, I had to pay over 200 dollars to mail my work laptop and monitor back, which I had carried in a suitcase all the way across the ****** world. I accepted a job as an education aide on base, out of cur... Collabora can’t save changes?56m agoI’m running Nextcloud 32.0.2 with Collabora Online Development 25.04.7.3 . All my documents are stored within my Truenas host that is mounted to the Nextcloud machine. I then passed the mount through to the master container and I applied “local” within the external storage settings for my SMB to be seen. Whenever I go to edit changes in my docs (using .docx format) my server tells me “Document cannot be saved. Check your permissions.” However after I get that message and press “overwrite” from a different pop up, it saves it partially (it’ll pick up only 3/4 of the changes.) I have the “use your own server” option selected within the “office” settings. I have so many regrets, it is unfathomable. I shouldn't have brought you, I should have never said those things and done what I did. As I fall for eternity for our daughter, let me at least explain to you my twisted reasoning. • CHAPTER 1: The End. • “The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.” \- Isaiah 49:14 Election years always have some **** they bring to the table in order to cause chaos, whether it be wars, diseases or what have you, they are never a good year for the planet. I wanted to share some resources for folks that could use extra resources due to the upcoming SNAP benefit stress. If you are low income, food insecure, just need information, or know someone who could use the following info: The HUD shelter finder is a good resource to find shelter, food pantries, health clinics, and clothing. Please ignore the popup. When you go to the shelter finder, click on the category and then enter your zip code and itll share resources based on your zip. https://www.hud.gov/findshelte Use the Kentucky Resource Guide to find housing and supportive services https://public.tableau.... The Surprise Birthday Card1h agoI am pretty sure I was six the first time I got a birthday card in the mail. I don’t remember the exact age. What I do remember is the kitchen table, a bowl of cereal getting soggy in front of me, and my mom walking in with this bright white envelope like she was holding something important. “Look at this” she said. “Somebody sent you mail.” When you are a kid, mail feels like a grown up thing. Bills, appointment reminders, junk coupons. Not for you. So when my mom handed it to me, I felt weirdly proud, like I had just leveled up. My name was on the front. Just my first name. No last name. No return address in the corner. “Who’s it from?” I asked. “Probably family”... What it is like to be a PA - A Manifesto1h agoI've been a PA for 5 years. I pale in comparison to the more seasoned PA's, but I saw the two posts from earlier today, and I'm here to play devil's advocate to the new PA, and the PA who retorted their view. Being a PA is not a gravy gig in the beginning. We are rushed through training while drinking from a fire hose, and are expected to perform at a high level, for in which the short time we complete our training. This is not for the weak minded. You are going to question why you accepted your job in the beginning...the knowledge deficit, the great time it takes to complete simple tasks, being a customer service representative in a clinician's body, etc. We have d... priorities in buying a starter home?1h agomy husband and i are on the market to buy our first home. we’re looking for something big enough for us and our daughter plus room for an office for my husband, a guest room, and an extra room for hopefully a second child soon. we currently rent in the lively area of town in a cute neighborhood. we feel really spoiled getting to be close to the happenings but also have some walkability to stores and just a very walkable neighborhood in general. however as we’ve been on the market it feels like we can can only have two of the three following factors at a time: 1. affordability 2. neighborhood appeal/location 3. good home structure we just found a house that we love!! well within o... Where to buy an office chair?1h agoTried Office Depot they were expensive and uncomfortable. It makes me afraid to buy online. If I am spending $300+, I need to be cozy. Any recommendations on local stores to try? Or otherwise? Echos of the void pt 22h agoWinston Titus Staples Pilot Guild training center OutReach station Cayston territory outer rim asteroid belt. Titus Staples had been traveling three days alone in a rattling ' Kestrel ' shuttle, the only passenger aboard the aging courier vessel bound for the Pilot Guild Training Center. The facility—a converted heavy hauler over six hundred years old, more than two and a half kilometers long, one kilometer wide, and three-quarters of a kilometer high—drifted like a silent city amid the outer asteroid belt, still within Principality space but far beyond the comfort of inhabited worlds. Suddenly the comm system crackled to life. A crisp, aristocratic voice filled the cockpit... BYOD Policy - Why answer different to what's seen in practice2h agohttps://preview.redd.it/13bgukezxg7g1.png?width=878&format=png&auto=webp&s=26ca4a2974d077ab33d6271bc74b5cbf99bc1c2b I see in practice that MDM is the most effective way of securing BYOD. Option A can help but doesn't help against weak passwords and enforcing MFA. In absence of these, encryption means nothing. PS: For those saying A, how would you mandate strong encryption on BYOD Is there a hack here??2h agoBesides like hoarding all the ****? Because I thought we were hoarding for the weekend events, so my hoard is depleted on a Monday 😭😭 And I didn’t get the 5 star card from the sky high whatevertheheck yesterday and I’m not going to get this one now either. Sadly due to deaths in my immediate family, getting a new job working 10-12 hour days, and moving, I had to put my business on hold. I finally feel ready to begin again, and soon will be able to offer paracord rosaries as a staple, and then add other one of a kind items as I have time to make them. These are two of the paracord rosaries I have made, the rest have been sold, donated, or given as gifts. These two aren't for sale, one is mine, the other is my son's, but they are examples of my work that show what I am capable of. I hope to get an etsy store up soon but don't have one yet. 🎄 Christmas & New Year Mega Sale – TheDigit Store 🎆2h agoThis festive season, upgrade your entertainment & productivity for LESS 💥 🔥 IPTV Plans on Special Festive Discount ➡️ Get up to 15% OFF (or more!) on ALL IPTV plans – limited-time Christmas & New Year deal! 🎁 Extra Festive Bonus Enjoy 10% OFF on top digital products like: ✔️ YouTube Premium ✔️ Spotify ✔️ Canva Pro ✔️ Adobe Creative Cloud ✔️ Microsoft Office ✨ Stream more. TLDR: Black mold issue in pantry and after 2 months of back and forth, apartments have still not replaced the pantry shelves even though there is mold in the wood causing it to welt and be discolored. Wanting to get out of lease early without paying the (basically) 4 month rent fee to break it. What are my options? Lived at these apartments for 3 years and new management took over this year. There were renovations happening and the office asked us to remove our items from all cabinets. We saw what appeared to be Black mold on the top shelf of our pantry (we do not store anything up there that would be wet, so we suspect the mold has been there for a long time wi... Help me find this novel2h agoHis Midnight Confession My husband Evander accidentally revealed his second family while talking in his sleep... Chapter 1 At three in the morning, I heard my husband, Evander Branson, talking in his sleep. "Be good, baby. Tomorrow I'll buy a new house for you and Mommy." I snapped awake. We had been on birth control—so where was this baby coming from? I nudged him. "What did you just say?" He rolled over, half-asleep, mumbling, "Just a nightmare... Clients were hounding me for payment." I didn't push further. In the darkness, I reached for his phone and quietly opened his Cash App. Three months ago, 100,000 dollars was transferred to Priscilla... Santa Kidnapped My Brother... I'm Going to Get Him Back (Part 1)2h agoWhen dad got locked up again, it didn’t hit right away. He’d been in and out since I was nine, but this time felt different. Longer sentence. Something about assault with a weapon and parole violations. My mom, Marisol, cried once, then shut down completely. No yelling, no last minute plea to judge for leniency—just silence. “He’s going away for at least fifteen years.” It wasn’t news. We all knew. I’d heard her crying about it on the phone to my grandma in the Philippines through the paper-thin wall. My little sister, Kiana heard it too but didn’t say anything. Planner craziness2h agoEvening all, Im hoping someone can steer me in the right direction... For years I used a weekly diary for appointments and an A5 notebook for to do lists and then later also reference lists. I got frustrated as I was flying through notebooks as half of it was used for reference lists, so I started googling ways to store lists.....bad idea, fell down a rabbit hole which i haven't quite got out of still and its cost me lots of time and money. The positive of the rabbit hole is that I have now realised that I didnt actually plan when I was going to do my to do lists, I just kept adding more to do, the same for exercise, I never actually planned it into my day. So I want to take those ... Santa Kidnapped My Brother... I'm Going to Get Him Back (Part 1)2h agoWhen dad got locked up again, it didn’t hit right away.
