I don't even need steaks right now, but I couldn't pass up the deal Cerave vs Winco facial cleanser? $13 vs $54d agoI was at Winco the other day and needed some face wash but did not want to pay $13. Decided to compare the ingredients to the $5 store brand and they are surprisingly similar! The texture is identical to the Cerave version and the scent is very similar. Same feeling on my face after rinsing. Honestly makes me wonder if they have the same supplier. Also the directions are strikingly similar… Will we be getting this at some point? (Or is it already in effect?)5d agoI miss her sometimes8d agoI'm constantly reminded of my ex There’s always one in the pack that doesn’t match the rest9d agoThis gem was tucked under the rest of the average looking packs. I love finding Prime marbling sold as Choice, always a purchase when I find those types of packs! First ice-y commute! How to prevent slush buildup?9d agoHad lots of cold weather rides, but first time riding in actual ice/slush mixture today! Studded tires are great, would absolutely have slid out so many times without them. My region is very warm and only see 2-3 icey days a year typically. The roads were pretty slushy and several miles in there was a very substntial buildup of ice/slush in my fenders. At stop lights I dismounted and rolled my bike back and forth to prevent the wheels from seizing up. Any tips on how to winterize my fenders? (Buildup not pictured, developed several miles from when this photo was taken) EDIT: I purchased some automotive ceramic wax and coated the interior of my fenders, however the conditions changed qu... Found these Ribeyes at Winco for $12/lb10d agoI usually buy my steaks at Costco, but these are the best looking steaks I’ve ever seen at Winco. I usually pay around $18-$19/lb for great looking ribeyes at Costco. How to cope with the shame and guilt?10d agoBack in 2019 I was in a car accident where my car was T-boned. I was the first vehicle crossing an intersection and another driver ran their red light at 50 mph, totalling my car. It was my first real motor vehicle collision (I was 26 at the time) and I didn't know what to do. Luckily the driver behind me pulled over, called the police and acted as a witness. Other than being emotionally shook, I thought I was fine so I did not request an ambulance. Instead, I went to my doctor the following day. My doctor at the time specialized in MVC's and offered to get me in contact with an attorney he regularly works with. I was scheduled an mri and was told I had 2 herniated disc'... Shorted on my Winco brand string cheese14d agoSaw post on here saying it was the best string cheese, and decided to give it a try. I eat my string cheese cold out of the fridge, and while it’s not bad, I think Frigo’s is still my favorite. Winco’s reminds me of Albertson’s store brand in the 1990s. Ranking Frozen Mac n Cheese Day 2615d agoWinco Mac & Cheese Plain: soupy, not much cheese flavor, tastes mostly of noodles Noodles: Soft with a slight chew Plain Score: 4/10 Dressed(added butter, pepper, cheese): More cheesy, less soupy, a little more depth Dressed Score: 6/10 Overall Score: 5/10 Price as of Jan 7th. 2026: $6.48 (bought at Winco) This one turned out incredibly soupy. I think their ratio of cheese sauce to noodles is definitely off, which did not help the case as I accidentally spilled some taking it out of the microwave lol. Other than that, before I added toppings it tasted mostly of noodles with a bit of cheese. So far, this has been the most mac I've had, coming in at about 2 pounds of m... $45.87 weekly winco haul for a college student in the PNW22d ago2 test batches and 1 constant evolution.24d agoThis week I have for you some fun flavor tests that usually start off as jokes: (left) 1st edition hot honey chili crisp test batch, (lower) 1st edition black sesame ube test batch, and the ever constant evolution 9th edition of flour mixing (upper). Each batch is 2 loafs. ----- Ube black sesame (The Bube) 700g 90°f water 1kg KA Bread flour 200g starter 20g salt 2.5 T Ube extract 3T black sesame powder Black sesame paste with reckless abandon at preshaping (easily 1/2c per loaf*) it was a mess. Made insane flavor layers. Croissant adjacent. *fun for black swirl effect but would be interested in mixing 2 separate doughs (an ube and a black sesame) or adding paste to the 3rd or 4th... cheapest grocery stores for city living24d agohey everyone, i figured i'd share some tips on finding the cheapest groceries in a city because those apartment rent prices make every other expense feel huge. it can be a real pain point, especially since a lot of the best deals are at stores that are a bit outside the central hub or have tiny, nightmare parking lots. for the bigger trips where you have to drive, a huge hack i use is not even stressing about the store's parking. if the lot is full and chaotic, just use the prked app to find someones unused driveway or garage a block or two away. it's usually way cheaper than a parking garage, you feel safer leaving your car on someones property, and it makes the wh... Request a winco foods ! For Wichita!26d agoHey everyone! I really think we would benefit from a Winco here. They are employee owned, and offer bulk bin food items like grains, pasta, nuts, seasonings, snack mixes, cereal, pancake/waffle mix, granola, dog food/treats, and candy. The bulk bins are a great way to limit the packaging and waste produced by our typical grocery products too. Winco also allows people to request a store in their area. If you want to diversify the grocery options here make a request by contacting Winco! Also want to add winco is a low cost option normally cheaper than Walmart! Definitely cheaper than Dillon’s! It’s also a 24 hour grocery store! They pay their works great! And sources produce from local fa... Winco Foods bin29d agoHappy Sunday Merchandiser application30d agoHi, I’ve been working at Winco Foods for a little over 6 months now, opened a brand new store as a grocery clerk.. but they treat me hella bad lol and I’m no longer getting my 40 hours.. I get 8 hours next week… 2 days… that’s not paying my car payment nor insurance at 19 years old.. I’m kinda looking into a vendor job as I’ve seen Pepsi and Frito personnel. And I just need a new job tbh.. I saw I need to use my personal vehicle but is that only for going to each store location? Is the product already at the stores and I just need to go make everything look nice ?? Or is there more I’m missing to this ?? I’m in AZ and live in east valley.. I’m kinda worried about...
