My brain cannot physically understand how there seems to be an infinite supply of meat. there is mutliple meat sections in every grocery store, and think of how many grocery stores are in the world, as well as like fast food chains. theres wendys and mcdonalds and burger king and everything and they all have thousands of locations that all serve chicken and hamburger and whatever and i dont understand how there can be so much livestock. i feel like i would see farms and **** everywhere but i see a cow like twice a year. and i live in nebraska so it wouldnt even be crazy to see a farm or something but i just like.. dont.

idk if this is just nostalgia or whatever but i swear fast food places in the US used to feel way more chill back then like now every place feels super bright and gray and empty inside. half the time they got kiosks and nobody even talks lol i went into a McDonald’s the other day and it legit felt like an airport waiting room 😭 back in the 2000s i remember Pizza Hut looking warm as **** inside with the red cups and dim lights. even Wendy’s had those sunroom looking spots lol food prob wasnt even better honestly but the vibe felt different maybe im just getting old idk curious if anyone else noticed this or if im just romanticizing cheap burgers for no reason

When I'm cheap I do a $8 pizza or 2 burgers for $10 bucks at Wendy's. You really want me to spend $20 on fast food and still feel judged as a tight ***? No thanks, mr slightly fancy burger shop.

I went to grab a burger at Wendy’s, expected the usual $10-ish, and ended up paying $18 for fries and a drink. I swear I could get a full salmon dinner at some sit-down place for the same. Sat there thinking, this feels… weird. It’s not like I’m mad or anything, just confused. I remember fast food being the cheap option when I was a kid. Now it’s flipped? Every time i pass by the one on the south side there's hardly any cars and it's been that way since before i can remember. ive never had the nerve to try it because wdym Wendy's, burger king, burger time (while it was still open, RIP), etc was on the street with its drive thru at food hour but only like 2 on a good \*day\* at hardees... idk has anyone tried it? friend keeps saying it was good back where he was from but idk bout out here.

These are the deals on my app. $2 Steak breakfast sandwiches (and double rewards points). $1 large fries. 40% off double cheeseburgers or nuggets. 1.25 drinks and unlimited refills at my local store. I also like using the BOGO Free on my receipts to get $2.50 quarter pounders. Wendys or Burger King or Carls don’t sell food or drinks as cheaply as the prices I just listed. Often their prices are double what I listed above.

As a fast food goer there is not a single place where Wendy's is competitive anymore on price, food quality, service or anything really. I just went to Chik-Fil-A today and got me a spicy chicken deluxe meal. Its not a very popular policy change, especially when our old franchise had a $14 limit and only restricted limited time meals.

They have activity books with games and coloring pages along with sticker sheets given away for free; it would make sense to bundle those in a kids meal. It would especially save the cashiers a few extra seconds when asking the kid customers if they'd like one of those books/sticker sheets. It feels like anytime Wendy's comes up here, the response is overwhelmingly negative, people saying it’s gone downhill or isn’t what it used to be. Honestly, I don’t really get it. I’ve been eating at Wendy’s for years and still enjoy it. In my opinion, their burgers are noticeably better than what you get at McDonald's or Burger King. Well, Fast food is at it again! Went by Wendy's in Clanton, AL yesterday at about 4:45pm and got a burger. With the rush I was in and how hungry I was, I ended up driving off without my card.
