Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Walmart Neighborhood Market Latest Community Discussions About Walmart Neighborhood MarketShrinkflation? Your favorite grocery brands have different price tags around Tulsa8d ago# Shrinkflation is a budding conversation — are we paying more for smaller amounts? The TL;DR (too long, didn’t read) is we are in fact getting less bang for our buck. And, spoiler alert, that cost varies by store in Tulsa. A recent [InvestorsObserver](https://investorsobserver.com/research/americas-most-popular-grocery-brands-now-cost-741-more-a-year-than-6-years-ago-41-of-it-hidden-inside-a-smaller-bag/) study says an average family of four is spending nearly $741 more per year on the exact same groceries than they did six years ago. A box of Frosted Flakes is 51% more expensive now per serving than it was in 2020 with fewer servings inside, according to the study. When prices incre... Express Lane Item Limit NOT BEING ENFORCED9d agoToday I stopped by my neighborhood Publix and picked up three items. The store was busy and I went to the express lane to checkout. The womanizer front of me had many more items in her cart than the express lane is designed for. In the past cashiers directed customers to other lanes. I have noticed in my past couple of visits cashiers were not enforcing the item limit. So, after checking out I went to the customer service desk and complained. The person manning the desk explained me the store had a new manager and employees were told not to enforce the item limit policy. I was polite and did not argue. I just will not go back to that store. There is an Aldi across the street and ... Thank you9d agoThe right people probably won't see this, but a big Thank You to the young man (and the parents of this young man) who earlier this morning at a busy intersection recognized a bad situation and took himself out of the equation. Was driving on Ustick near Cole Rd, trying to get into the Walmart Neighborhood Market parking lot. I'm traveling east on Ustick in the left turn lane there is 2 cars in front of me and 4 cars trying to get out of the parking lot with oncoming traffic also entering the parking lot from the east. Young man is approaching on his bicycle, sees the multiple cars trying to enter and exit the same point and decides not just to plow trough all the cars like I see... Rolled the dice on a crushed blaster13d agoTook a chance on the only blaster in the tiny card section the checkout line at a Walmart Neighborhood Market and the boxed looked like it got beat up. Knucklehead move, but turned out a’ight! All the cards looked great and actually in better shape than the other two Target blasters I got a few days prior. Not shabby. I don’t know anyone else into cards where I live, so thought it would be cool to share here. Respect✌️ Merced needs a second Walmart (on the east or south side)15d agoMerced is growing fast on the east around Campus Parkway and South Merced, but most shopping is still on the west side. Barely any shopping or retail on those parts of the city. A Walmart Neighborhood Market on the east or south side would make groceries and essentials much more accessible. Even Turlock has two Walmarts with a smaller population than us. We’re probably due for another one. Thoughts? Dual Review: Hyatt Studios Harrisonburg VA & Hyatt Select Richmond/Chester16d agoSo I was two checkmarks away from my third Brand Explorer completion and decided to check these two off the list for another free night, even though Cat 1-4 FNAs are about to be worth even less and I want to have a chance to cash one last one in before the category changes go into effect. I'll try to keep this brief, too. Hyatt Studios Harrisonburg was a pleasant surprise. It might be down to the fact that it's only been open a little less than three weeks, but the newness of the place was refreshing (even the stairwells are freshly carpeted). I don't think many people know it's open because the place was practically deserted the night I stayed and my rate was \~$89/n... that doesn't seem right16d agojust posting because it's funny. seems like the reason it's happening is Google Maps is pulling from copy associated with products. this one is from FatBoy ice cream sandwiches. Ok… what about this AirBnB location?17d agoI appreciate all the help since places in Ft Lauderdale are hit or miss… What Minox are you all using?18d agoLooking to use the best yet most cost effective minox. What is everyone using? I would prefer to be ordering via amazon or buying from Walmart Neighborhood Market. DP: Citi ThankYou Mastercard - Walmart no longer counts as groceries21d agoUntil last month, Walmart #5140 always showed up as "Merchandise-GROCERY STORE,SUPERMARKET" on my Citi ThankYou Mastercard. However, that same store just started showing up as "Merchandise-DISCOUNT STORE". Is anyone else having the same issue with their Walmarts? And to make matters worse, there is a Walmart Neighborhood Market #5684 nearby that completely stopped selling Visa gift cards altogether earlier this year. I'll assume this is a one-off, unless other people also started noticing their Walmarts stopped selling them too (and they still sell typical gift cards, just not Visa & Mastercard & American Express). I will start buying my VGCs in a r... Bilt Obsidian Data Points for 3x on Grocery at Walmart, WNM, & Target?22d agoHave there been any data points on how the Obsidian codes Walmart Supercenter, Walmart Neighborhood Market, and Target? We only have Walmart Neighborhood Market for groceries, and my Amex Gold is the only card that codes it as "grocery." The Obsidian coding any of those three as "grocery" would be a game-changer. I did see a post a while back where someone confirmed Walmart and Target coded them as grocery since (allegedly) MasterCard does (Chase, Citi, etc. all explicitly exclude Walmart and Target, but Bilt doesn't, I don't think). But have there been any other data points? Just a quick question?25d agoI currently work at a Walmart Neighborhood Market and our structure of leadership is obviously different than that of a Supercenter. I’m just wondering if anyone would be willing to explain to me the difference between a Sales Floor TL and a F/C TL in a Super center. Thanks! Overnight stocking30d agoHey all 27(F) here So I recently got hired as an overnight stocker at a Walmart Neighborhood Market. My schedule is 4 days a week 9pm-6AM. I’m wondering how is it? I’ve seen mixed reviews on TikTok and Reddit that someone people love it and others **** it. I’m in college and do classes online. I also like to stay up til 2AM -3AM and I wake up about 7am-8am to take my dogs out and then take a nap at 2-6pm usually. Im currently a afterschool teacher, I just watch kids and do activities from 2pm-6pm, Monday -Friday, and I’m pretty sure I’ll have the summer off. I enjoy it but I’m having a dilemma if I should quit and come to Walmart? Any advice is welcome, thanks. Virgin Islands National Park || My 39th National Park ----- DETAILS & TIPS INCLUDED34d agoWith Virgin Islands National Park being one of the lesser-visited US national parks (under 500k annual visitors), I wanted to share some tips for anyone on the fence about visiting this incredible Park. IMO Dry Tortugas National Park is a more challenging destination to get to… AND I LIVE IN SOUTH FLORIDA! Virgin Islands National Park became my 39th park, and it left a strong impression. I usually leave parks feeling satisfied, but this one joined a short list that includes Death Valley and Big Bend that I wish I’d had more time to explore. Living in South Florida, my airfare was just $127 roundtrip, which makes a return trip very doable. I loved the relaxed island time, vibe, welcoming...
