Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Walgreens Latest Community Discussions About WalgreensExpress Scripts is nothing but BULLSHIT!!!!1h agoI haven’t been calling them I’ve only called them when I was asked to call them. So it’s not like I was calling them every time I wanted to fix their **** *** mistakes. So the first time they told me he needed a pre authorization when it was a insurance rejection saying that he had part D Medicare and Tri care and that if I had oars D they wouldn’t even fill my brothers scripts. So I finally got them to change that mistake I didn’t even offer to pay cash but is that even an option with them? But anyway so they fixed that took me over an hour on the phone with them. Then the class two goes from delayed back to processing. A day later after the lady told us nothing to worry about e... How are you guys finding specific manufacturers?3h agoIt seems like none of the pharmacies in my area have generic Adderall XR in stock, let alone specific manufacturers. All of them tell me that it’s on back order so they can’t order specific generics. At first I believed it, but now I’m starting to think that they’re just not being honest about their inventory because they think I’m drug seeking or whatever they call it. Nothing’s off the table nowadays. How are you guys finding the manufacturers you want? Do you use big chain pharmacies like Walgreens and CVS? Hospital pharmacies? Small local pharmacies? Any advice would be much appreciated 🙏. Apotex Midodrine: MISSING? CANCELLED?1d agoI take a crazy amount of midodrine and have also tried multiple manufacturer. Apotex is the best and most reliable manufacturer for me. I have been going to CVS to get it, but they just told me that it’s no longer available— without clarifying if that means just to CVS, just for the moment, or if it’s cancelled forever. Is anyone else having this problem? or does anyone else have a pharmacy that doesn’t give them grief? ADD: I have been using midodrine for 20 years, starting when it was still promatine and through the period when it became an orphan drug (and then came back). I know Apotex is the brand that I can predict— aurobindo (chalky one) is a non starter for me. I al... pharmacy recommendations?5d agounfortunately corner drug no longer takes the insurance i have. i’m honestly real bummed because that place has always been so accessible and reliable. other than walgreens, are there other pharmacies you would recommend ? Is my test positive?8d agoOkay so I applied for a Pharmacy Tech apprenticeship at Walgreens. I did the interview and background check, now onto the mouthswab drug test. I smoke THC daily (I don’t want to hear “well you shouldn’t be smoking to begin with” legit save it, that’s not my question) and I stopped for 3 days, cleaned my mouth 3 times a day with hydrogen peroxide and mouthwash along with brushing. Before the test (30 mins before) I swished mouthwash and peroxide and spit it out. I did my oral drug test in enough time, and after I was asked about my availability, told how much I will get payed, and about training soon. They did not say I was negative or positive straight out, but did let me go and we... cried on my first day as a pharmacist technician10d agohello, i just wanted to rant about my first day. it felt extremely stressful since i work in a very busy walgreens. i was working in fast food, so i’d assume nothing would beat the rushes there. i was doing fine the other days i was just doing modules, but i haven’t even finished the millions of modules we do and i got put in the pharmacy and i honestly had no idea what i was doing. i started crying because of the many rules when checking people’s prescriptions out. my manager kept assuring me i did fine, but everything was so unorganized and it took me a very long time to find everyone’s prescription. a lady started giving me attitude and that’s when i started to cry. i’ve had ... Pharmacy issues with Adderall12d agoHi! This is my first Reddit post, and I just want to know if anyone has been through something like this because I feel like I’m losing my mind. This is my first controlled medication ever, and I’ve never dealt with anything like this. I’m 25. I saw a psychiatrist for the first time on 11/5, got diagnosed with ADHD, and was prescribed 20mg Adderall once a day. She told me to start with 10mg in the morning and 10mg in the afternoon, then switch to the full 20mg in the morning if needed, which worked better for me. I’ve gone to the same Walgreens my entire life and usually dealt with the same pharmacist. When I picked up that first script, her attitude completely changed. She lecture... Best pharmacies in shreveport-bossier area?19d agoI’ve had all kinds of problems with the walgreens on greenwood and jewella, they NEVER have my prescriptions in stock (i am on adderall, a schedule 1 drug, and i understand the DEA is very strict about those but even other less “controlled substances like prednisone, fluconazole, etc shouldn’t take 2-3 weeks) and when they do i have to wait in line at least 45 mins no matter what time i go. I transferred all my prescriptions to the walgreens in brookeshire’s on bert kouns and they are slightly better but i’m going on 2 weeks without any refills. I’m not a shreveport native (only lived here for a year or so) and i don’t know any good pharmacies around here but this is starting ... Partial Refill of medication question19d agoMy psychiatrist has skin cancer and just had an operation to have it removed, and because of that she has understandably been less on top of things than usual. I’m prescribed 60 pills a month. We are supposed to meet on December 3rd for our yearly in person appointment. She forgot to send a prescription for this month, she usually sends it in sets of three with one to be released each month. There were only two though, so i called and they sent a prescription for this month. But the fill was only 15 pills to be taken twice daily. I was confused so i called the office just to make sure we would still be able to fill the remainder of the months prescription after our in person meeting since ... AIO or Should I Quit?20d agoSo for context I have been working at my store for about a year now. I’m still a trainee so I haven’t gotten my actual liscense yet. However, I am a full-time college student. So I’ve only either been able to work weekends since my class schedule has just happened to be 5 days every semester. My pharmacy is also closed on Sundays as we apparently don’t get that many people coming in. So the only day I’ve really worked is Saturdays, and during my first semester I also worked Mondays and Wednesdays. Because I am barely able to go in to work it has taken me so long to figure out the whole system and how to do things/work things and I would say I’m still in the process of learning ev... Where are you getting Rhapsido?21d agoMy fiance was prescribed Rhapsido for her MCAS and was given two one-month samples. Insurance approved it almost immediately but Walgreens called and said they are unable to order it and transferred the prescription to Ingles. Ingles called this morning and said they were also unable to order it and transferred it to CVS. CVS just called me to tell me that they’re unable to order it, also. I called Novartis and told them that no pharmacy in my area is able to acquire their drug and they told me that it shouldn’t be an issue and gave me a number to give to the pharmacies, but all of those pharmacies refused to even call it. I know it’s brand new and probably not in most vendors’ stoc... Ethical question for pharm staff - what would you do if you knew a tech was stealing pills from a friend (but not necess...21d agoSo… here’s an issue that I’m unfortunately going through at the moment. I left the mental health field a little while back and started in Pharm as a tech. I love it, it’s been great. As it happens, my roommate was jobless and decided to give it a go as well. It’s been great having someone to rant to, honestly. She works for the same company as me (Walgreens lol), but at a different location. That was, until I noticed something odd… my meds are going missing. To be clear, I have absolutely no evidence or reason to think she’s stealing from her pharmacy. But *my* meds are being stolen by a pharmacy tech. So far I’ve tracked that she’s stolen from me: 2 Percocets, 2 hydro... New "nationwide" regulation in effect, per my CVS - anyone else experiencing this?24d agoOkay. Not sure what's going on. I was due to get my Vyvanse Rx filled today or tomorrow - it's one day early today. They rarely have ever done the 'two-day early' fills for me, but I've been fine with it. I've picked up one day early, or the day of, or a day after for some months. CVS texted me this morning to call them about my Rx, so I did. Had a poor convo with a really rude woman right off the bat (not my usual experience w/my local CVS) who said the pharmacist told her to relay that I was not allowed to fill my Rx for 7 more days. She didn't explain why, just tried to end the conversation, so I requested to speak w/pharmacist (who was much nicer). \*I... New to Part D Rx plans25d agoHoping for advice between two Part D Rx Plans for 2026. The first is HealthSpring Assurance Rx with a $35.70 monthly premium, $398.48 pharmacy, for a total drug + premium cost of $826.88 (I wont meet my $615 deductible with Walgreen but the Rx monthly costs is $26.34. This is the cheapest plan and I certainly like it for the costs. The other plan is Wellcare Value Script with a $42.40 monthly premium, $766.83 pharmacy with a total drug + premium of $1,222.12 (also a $615 deductible). My concern is HeallthSpring, I never heard of them other than they were acquired by Cigna. Does an inexpensive plan like this raise any red flags? Also, would going with a higher price plan like Wellcare (... Interview tomorrow CA26d agoI have an interview tomorrow at Walgreens for a pharmacy tech position. But I smoke weed for anxiety. I just wanna know if they’re gonna drug test me on the spot? Or is it after I get the job? And if I get the job, is it a urine test or a saliva test? Plz let me know ! 🙇♀️🙏🙏 Just got hired as Pharmacy Tech26d agoI just got hired as a pharmacy tech/apprenticeship at a Walgreens and I’m excited. They’re starting me off at $18/hr because I am not certified. I am nervous though because I have not had such a serious job. The pharmacist seems kind and helpful and the store manager who sat in on the interview seems cool and like she’ll be a great resource. This is how I was hired tho: I applied on Wednesday, Friday at 11:30 I got a called asking if I could come in that day for an interview, I was offered a full time position before I left and I passed my drug test and background check on Monday. Should I be worried by the quick turnaround or maybe I was just an ideal candidate? Can you guys give m... What do you call CVS/Walgreens?28d agoCanadian here, and I’m wondering what y’all call that genre of store. From my understanding, they’re what we would call a “drugstore” here but it dawned on me that I never really hear Americans use that term. Our big ones are Shoppers, London Drugs, Rexall, and Pharmasave and they are essentially midsize retail stores primarily consisting of pharmacy and cosmetics, as well as some gifts, groceries, and electronics. The only context I’ve heard Americans say “drugstore” is in reference to makeup (“drugstore makeup brands” - Maybelline, covergirl etc). Additionally, do you guys have grocery chains with these built-in, aside from Walmart supercentres and Costco? We have supe... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
