I have a good friend who sends me a Zingerman's gift basket for Christmas the past few years. Top notch snacks, something far more premium than i would ever buy myself. Walk me through the process of how it now works to ship from Canada to USA, just regular parcel stuff. not snacks, dangerous goods or special FDA **** etc. Something like a toy. I want it simple. I walk into a UPS store in Toronto and what happens now. Before de minimus removal you walk in with your parcel, fill out a quick form with address and basic info/value etc and then on your way. Was trying to get a refund for a desk that had an issue preventing me from putting it together. I mentioned I didn't have the original packaging so the bot said that I could not return it and get a refund, yet in the same response it asks me what shipping method I wanted to use for the return 🤔

Hi, I made a shipment but changed my mind. I want to cancel but I can only void it if the label was created with an account. I don’t have one so I called CS and they said they can’t cancel it on their end either?? Is there a solution to this? Will I get a refund if I just wait and it does not got shipped out? Went to drop off a return package at a local UPS store. The item was in a carry bag still within the box that it arrived in (arrived, not shipped as it was part of a larger box/order). The person at the counter scans my return code and tells me they can't take the return because it's in the item's box. There are no labels, writing, etc on the box that identifies it as a certain product. It looks like a [generic brown box](https://ibb.co/4ZypKV8y). So the owner comes in to remind us that we're open regular hours. Two minutes later, the cool driver comes in to do a mini sweep and tells us that last pick up is at 3. Owner comes out and tells the driver "it's regular hours here." That's when the driver goes "bro UPS management told all drivers that UPS Store pick ups ends at 3, and only airs are leaving the store." That's when my coworker ask "what happens if it's 3:15 and a customer wants to ship something to arrive on the 26th?" Driver goes "tell them last pick up is at 3. They can still create a shipping label, but it'll stay in the store until early Friday morning."...

I was wondering if others have had a similar experience. I ordered an upgrade phone with trade-in in the T-Life app. I paid the upfront fee and that was that. The phone shipped a few days later and UPS gave me a shipping window of 2 hours in the middle of the week and it required signature(no option to opt out). Because of this, I switched to pick the phone up at a UPS store. This costs 5.99 just FYI. Days pass and the UPS app shows “delayed”. I go to the store in person and they said “it will be here”. Is the UPS store on Franklin independent and can charge more than the UPS site? I looked up a package shipment today to Canada. Size, weight, value, postal code and it gave me a couple options from $60 to $200 so I went over there and the only option they gave me was over $250. Ended up sending it USPS for $57. (FedEX was $150 🤷‍♂️) A few months ago they wouldn’t ship a perfectly wrapped in brown paper box without re-wrapping it at an additional cost which seemed odd. Went to USPS that time as well.

Or do you think the ship has been sailed and will never see this type of stuff again? Or should we be grateful that TRU came back at all instead of being faded into obscurity? What do you think? **EDIT: My answer. Probably not. The ship has been sailed.**
