I got my mercari account about 2 years ago, ive made about 80 sales and gotten 5 followers, however as of late things have really slowed down. Sales are now almost once every month and to be honest I just really **** the aesthetic of my store as it currently stands. Doesn't matter who they are, they could be young or old, speak English or not at all, there is a scary amount of grown adults who don't know what a shipping label is. If you've ever sent or received mail in your life, you should know. So what is it with these people coming up to make an Amazon return with a shipping label already pasted on a box instead of a return code on a phone and acting like I'm the crazy one when I explain what that is? Not the label with two barcodes, but rather a full-blown shipping label you would see on any ordinary package. I noticed when ordering pants or shirts from Amazon that sometimes — not always — they arrive with the Amazon shipping label stuck directly on the garment’s plastic bag. No box or shipping bag used, and no paper mailer (my favorite). That means anyone can see the item during shipping. My issue is that I returned this item and the printed code said “customer packed.” The UPS store pointed that out. I called Amazon and they issued a refund and a return shipping label after a chat. I am wondering if I can ship my medication to a ups store mailbox/po box. I sometimes will not be home during delivery’s and would like to keep them inside and not baking in Florida heat.

Kind of at a loss for what to do here. I live in the middle of no where, and like 1.5 hours from the nearest UPS store. I’ve always taken my packages to a nearby store that has drop boxes and an option to pay $1 to leave your box inside for when the UPS/Fedex drivers come. I dropped my package off on Tuesday around 1:30, and according to the staff, the driver picked everything up around 3:30 that day. Package was 2-Day air. Fast forward to now - 72 hours later. It still has never been scanned, including no initial scan. I have a store receipt for the package drop off, but they don’t scan as they’re not UPS. I also always take pictures of my packages in the drop box when I drop off....

I had a package shipped to my local franchise UPS store since deliveries to my building can get messy. (Shipper won't use CVS as an access point.) I have done this before. Hello, I have been working at a UPS store for a couple of years now. To my knowledge, before starting a shipment you are technically supposed to ID a person to confirm it’s actually them. However, we do not usually ID people shipping packages, and I have not heard of any nearby UPS stores IDing people. Is it normal to not ID people before they ship?

I accidentally sold something that was mislabeled/misadvertised on the unopened packaging. I didn’t think to open the item up to check and accepted the return when the buyer pointed this out. Then I get a package from the buyer containing the wrong item. The buyer asks me to ship it back to her because it was mixed up with another item she was returning to another seller. So, I went on vacation and bought some stuff. I couldn’t get it in my luggage, so I decided to ship it to my address. The package was supposed to arrive 4/9, but I didn’t get it. It’s been listed as delayed for weeks now with no movement. Last tracking is RFID confirmed pickup. I filed a claim 4/10 hoping they would find it. UPS paid the claim, so does this mean I’m not going to get my package?

My last couple returns my only option is UPS store with box and label required. I used to have kohls and staples and UPS store with no box but lately this is my only option. My wife just had a couple returns on a separate account that I was going to take and it it let her do kohls for one and staples for the other. I don't return things that often, and I definitely keep way more than I return. Does anyone know the reason for this?
