Hello Walmart employees/TMs! I've currently been employed at Target for about 7 months now and I'm preparing for a big move in the next few months, which unfortunately places me too far away from a store location to be able to commute. That's fine and all, as there's good and bad about the job, but I feel like I'll be better off out of that environment. With that being said, however, stores like Walmart and other retail spaces, Lowe's, Ulta Beauty, Aldi, Five Below, etc. are indeed in said previously mentioned area. I have now lived here for 2 years and overall it's been decent-but why on earth are there no good stores here? Unlike Chesapeake and VB, we do not have a Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Homegoods, Kroger, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Wegmans, Publix, or even an Ulta Beauty. I have heard some whispers about shoplifting issues but Norfolk has such a mix of people. Some are wealthy, some are poor, some are busy navy people etc. I am so sick of driving to different towns for basic products. Would love to know what the deal is with the lack of stores here.

It happened to me too! I was banned because me and my husband share home address and payment methods. 😒 I reached out many times and y’all know customer service. They keep “escalating” to the team. Well this team ain’t doing it for me! I send a complaint through BBB (Better business bureau) they accepted my res quest and Ulta had the nerve to tell the BBB that they will message the “customer” in private to solve the matter.
