For context, i have been using my specialist clogs from crocs since april of 2023. The sides have taken a beating and is now uneven as seen in the 1st picture. And just recently about 3 or 4 months, the heel area of my feet has been hurting(as seen pointed in the 2nd picture). I was wondering if the pain on both my feet is caused by the sole of my shoes being uneven? For context, i have been doing 10k to 16k steps throughout the day, depending on how busy it is in the kitchen including my commute. Did a recovery run on the treadmill instead of speed run since it's still pouring rain and I didn't need that free cold shower lol. Decided to use my original shoes, that I started with in January. I was planning to buy a Nike Vomero Plus but I’m still not sure with sizing. I commonly wear size 42. But I’m not sure if I should size up or not. I have a Nike Vomero 5 (the retro running shoes) for casual wear and its size 42. Does it have same sizing as the modern Vomero Plus/18? I don’t like the 5 sizing because it’s very tight in the width. My feet feels choked. So, if I use the 5 as reference, should I size up the Plus? I worked my first shift in produce today (cut bar) and the non-slip shoes I’d bought absolutely killed my feet. I went looking for a better option after work and found some HeyDude slip resistant work shoes (pictured). They are made of a mesh material and are very comfortable, but I’m not sure if they meet the dress code requirements. ETA: Thank you to all who commented! I reconsidered these particular shoes. I bought some Skechers yesterday and added some insoles to them. They weren’t perfect, but miles more comfortable than the last shoes I had.

I am on the smaller side of a women's size 6 (in vans and skechers) with a low volume foot and skinny heeel but wider front foot due to having bunions on both feet. I already tried asics gel nimbus, brooks glycerin, addidas, Skechers. And I am not sure what else would be good. Especially for the price because some are too expensive. Thank you.
