I am planning a mural that will use paint markers to draw over a wall. I prepped a sheet of paper with the wall paint my friend used to practice my design on and chose a Molotow marker from the art store. It is just beading up when I draw over this light blue paint. The paint is Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen. An online search suggests the markers should still work over low sheen paint. I can try a different brand of marker, like Posca. I am resistant to just using acrylic paints because they will be slower going and I am pressed for time to complete this mural. I am also worried that if the acrylic markers won't stick then the paint will go on but not adhere well over time. ...
