The Transamerica Pyramid recently opened a time capsule sealed below it and have a free and fascinating exhibit in the lobby showing its contents. Within are several flyers and letters against and in favor of the building which was controversial at the time, calling it a dunce cap, icicle, etc and one complaining about its location in "residential and low rise part of San Francisco" .
