Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Adidas Latest Community Discussions About AdidasWIP: Map of Affordable and Second Hand Shopping Edinburgh [Suggestions?]32m agoHi people, Don't think it would suprise you that I'm the person who created the map of [free things to do in Edinburgh](https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1o-CrcAQuwgUfTkx9keA1MWHSfl80l8Q&usp=sharing) that many of yous enjoy. With the popularity of that, I wanted to work on a new map that would continue to help people out. Although there's alot of stuff you can do for free, there isn't many where you can get things for free - however there is always more affordable options, especically if willing to go second hand. You find the map as it is [here](https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1NgruL25VM6dSsCNQvotIgg4bLNs4lgM&usp=sharing), which ... Cost of Living in Newcastle upon Tyne for Students1d agoThe cost of living for students in Newcastle upon Tyne is between £800 and £1,200 per month, significantly less than in London or Manchester. This is one of the key reasons the city consistently ranks among the UK's most affordable places to study. With over 50,000 students at Newcastle University and Northumbria University, the city has developed a strong student-focused economy, keeping everyday costs competitive, from rent to a pint on a Friday night. Where you fall within this range depends on your accommodation choice, eating habits, and social lifestyle. This guide breaks down exactly where your money goes. # Newcastle Student Accommodation Costs Accommodation is the biggest e... Morrisons now smaller than Lidl and Aldi?1d agoThe ‘big 4’ days now firmly behind this once great supermarket. I was just reading that Lidl have now matched Morrisons for market share, which means at the rate they are growing, Morrisons is now firmly in 6th place. No way back for them really, they are now a minnow which is astounding when you see they have some large stores in great areas. People just don’t like to shop there it seems. C... Whatever I pay those guys, it's not enough2d agoAldi has been considered cheapest supermarket in the UK...3d agoAldi has been considered cheapest for the 3rd month in a row. 95 items for £171.32 which is not too bad.. question is how long those items will last ? Prices have increased, products have shrunk... For the last 20 odd years, I have been shopping like this \- Sainsbury's for some items via Nectar \- Lidl for mostly cleaning items \- Asda for other sundries \- Iceland for bread only \- local market for some times exotic vegetables and etc... Does anyone else mix and match their weekly shopping? Első répatortám4d agoA Lidl-marketing vs. a kegyetlen valóság. Where to buy fresh natural products, organic farming, healthy food?5d agoGenuine question as I’m new in Helsinki and would like to know where to buy groceries like fresh and natural products - healthy food (not too industrial with preservatives and chemicals) from organic farming (biological) vegetables and fruits? As I’m struggling to find some in Lidl, Prisma or S-K market, do you have special shops ? Any recommendations are welcomed. Üzletvezető / régióvezető – más területről reális?7d agoSziasztok! 28 éves vagyok, jelenleg Ausztriában dolgozom a szállodaiparban (recepció + foglalás), több év tapasztalattal. Emellett végzős vagyok közgazdász (kereskedelem és marketing) szakon, illetve van FOKSZ végzettségem is. Német C1, angol B2 – a németet napi szinten használom. Somnus Sleep Pad – How I Became a Beta Tester for a Smart Mattress8d ago**TL;DR – Quick Summary** Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Who it's for: Those who take sleep optimization seriously, hot sleepers who overheat at night, couples with different temperature preferences (dual-zone!), and biohackers and recovery enthusiasts. Who it's NOT for: Those on a tight budget. Got this in a local supermarket, can it be used for climbing13d agoIf I braided some of this together to make it thicker, can I use it for a climbing rope for my boas? Summer Sublet – Furnished Studio in Kalorama/Adams Morgan (July 5 – August 22)13d agoHello everyone, I’m looking for someone to sublet my fully furnished studio in Kalorama/Adams Morgan from 5 July to 22 August (dates are largely fixed, with slight flexibility on either end). The rent is $1800 per month (inclusive of all utilities and WiFi) I will be away studying in Michigan during this period and am hoping to find someone who is considerate, tidy, and respectful of the space. Ideally looking for a visiting student, intern, or early-career professional, though I am open to others looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in D.C. No pets :( 🏡 **The Studio** My studio is located a quiet, tree-lined residential street 🌳, right next to Kalorama Park. It i... Plug in solar approved in UK!14d agoAt last...announced this morning ... Today, the Government is driving forward with the rollout of “plug-in” solar panels (low-cost panels that families can put on their balconies or outdoor space) to be available in shops within months and save people money on their bills. Retailers like Lidl and Amazon, alongside manufacturers such as EcoFlow, are working with Government to enable them to be brought to the UK market. [The “Middle of Lidl” Revolution: Plug-In Solar is Finally Coming to the UK](https://www.4billionyearson.org/posts/the-middle-of-lidl-revolution-plug-in-solar-is-finally-coming-to-the-uk) Sick of "hidden gems" that are just crowded photo ops? Here's what actually worked for 2 weeks in Sloveni...14d agoSick of "hidden gems" that are just crowded photo ops? I spent two weeks in Slovenia, *actually* avoiding tourist traps, and lived like a king for under $70/day. No, really. After years of falling for 'must-do' lists that led to overpriced souvenir shops and elbow-to-elbow crowds, I swore my next trip would be different. Slovenia wasn't even on my radar until a friend casually mentioned it, and it turned into my personal budget travel redemption arc. This isn't a glossy brochure; it's the raw, unpolished truth about how I pulled off an epic 14-day adventure without blowing my savings. **The Budget Breakdown (Average Daily Spend):** Okay, let's get do... Recently moved to Dublin, any tips on saving money?14d agoHey everyone! Just relocated to Dublin about three weeks ago (from Poland, if that's relevant) and honestly the cost of living here hit me harder than I expected. Rent alone is eating up way more of my paycheck than I'd like, and I feel like I'm hemorrhaging money just on day-to-day stuff. A few things I'm already doing: * Cooking at home most days * Using Leap Card for public transport * Avoiding the obvious tourist traps in the city centre But I feel like I'm still missing a lot of local knowledge. Specifically wondering about: 1. **Groceries:** Is Lidl/Aldi really the move? Any specific stores or markets worth knowing? 2. **Eating out:** Are there any spots ... Political Compass post.15d agoDisclaimer: These are the views of my character and do not reflect my real-life views. I know you guys aren’t the biggest fans of tourists but isn’t it kinda nice to live in a tourist town?19d agoBesides the crime, inflation, and transient community, I mean isn’t there like endless things to do? I’m in awe combing through the Visit Virgina Beach website right now, just dreaming of when we finally get to move there. It’ll probably be in a year or just over, but I literally can’t wait! I’ve got my husband, 4 year old, and 2 year old right over my shoulder pointing things out! The aviation museum and adventure park, my 4 year old would love! The dolphins, the food, the cruises!? Literally never been on a cruise ship \*or\* seen a dolphin. The contemporary arts museum, I mean coffee from Hawaii!? Parasailing, the beaches, like you name it, ya’ll have it. Isn’t that awesome?... Lidl to Replace Street Market at Yard 56 in East Baltimore19d ago4 Companies That Failed International Expansion On Their First Attempts20d ago# Uber in China When **Uber** expanded into China in 2014, it followed its typical aggressive expansion model: * Move fast. * Heavily subsidize rides. * Capture market share quickly. But because Uber didn’t slow down and first assess the nuances of operating in the Chinese market, it stumbled. One reason was that Uber faced intense competition from **Didi Chuxing**, a local rival with stronger government relationships, better local market insight, and a more tailored product experience. Other challenges Uber faced included: * Complex regulatory and political dynamics * Fierce subsidy-driven price wars * Consumer preference for local digital ecosystems Uber reportedly lost billi...
