Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Lidl Latest Community Discussions About LidlBlack crackhead beggars in chicken shop2d agoCan anything be done about the constant black crackhead beggars who come into the chicken shop next to the gym on the high street/market who hassle customers for spare change or one pound? Especially that bearded aggressive black man who often also hangs around outside Lidl asking for change? Getting sick of being hassled by black crackheads when I'm eating my fried chicken. Who Gives A **** TP users: can you help me compare?2d agoSo I think we can all agree that toilet paper has become ridiculously expensive. I've been thinking of switching to WGAC for a few years, because it's always been a similar price to my regular TP. But is it? Toilet paper marketing makes my blood boil more than I'd like to admit. 12 rolls for a bargain, but the cardboard tube is massive or the roll is tiny. 400 sheets, but the sheets are smaller than regular sheets. 12 rolls = 16 rolls! It's 4 layers, but the individual layers are see-through. We've seen it all. Recently I've gotten radical with it, I've started weighing the toilet paper on my kitchen scale and it turns out that that bargain pack at Lidl or... I’m building a community app where people share grocery prices near them — need feedback2d agoHey everyone, I’m working on an app idea and I’d love to get honest feedback before I start building it. 💡 **Idea:** A **community-powered grocery price sharing app** where users can: Take a photo of a grocery product in a supermarket Add the price + store location Upload it instantly Other users nearby can see real-time prices and compare stores 📱 **Problem it solves:** Right now, grocery prices vary a lot between stores, but: It’s hard to know which store is cheapest People waste time going from store to store Discounts are not always visible in one place ⚙️** How it works**: Users search for a product (like milk, rice, eggs) App shows nearby sup... Strategies for serious bulk pantry stocking in Germany? (Looking for alternatives to standard weekly discounter runs)2d agoHallo zusammen, I have been trying to optimize my grocery shopping routine here in Germany, but I am hitting a bit of a wall when it comes to buying style. Back home, I was used to purchasing long-shelf-life staples and non-perishables in true bulk quantities to save time and keep a deeply stocked pantry. I am looking to buy items like tuna cans by the flat, large catering-sized bags of frozen ingredients, and dry goods in massive quantities. The issue is that the standard German grocery landscape seems incredibly fragmented. Going to Lidl, Aldi, or REWE every single week for tiny individual portions of these items is frustrating and time-consuming. I know METRO exists, but since it is st... Jedu z práce a on tam pořád stojí?? Parking tips for Marietta Fourth of July Celebration at East Park Square (Marietta 07/04)4d agofigured i'd share some tips for the marietta fourth of july celebration on 07/04 since it's going to be a total madhouse. with the parade starting at 10 am and the fireworks at dark, the square basically turns into a pedestrian-only zone and parking is nearly impossible if you don't have a game plan. you should definitely check out Prked first if you want to skip the headache. it lets you rent driveways or garages from people living right next to east park square. it's way cheaper than the event lots and lets you avoid the nightmare of trying to get out of a public deck when 30,000 people leave at once. it's a short walk and usually much faster to get home... World is shifting to anti bacteria and anti viruses tech for daily products ( textile , food packaging, pipes, water systems , paint , coating , screens , fridges , etc ) . And parx tech sits at the top , their anti bacteria / anti viral tech is one of the few that is biocide free and effective at 99.9% against virus and bacterias. Mulțumesc! https://forms.gle/szJe8H7v8dDhgKQv7 Where was I? Find the Whole Foods6d agoSorry it’s not a K-Market or a Lidl! I sold all my shares at 20 to go to Ibiza i regret it every day8d agoSo I started my investment journey as soon at 19 years old just after I moved out my parents house to rent a studio flat I’ve never been given or inherited a penny and learned the hard way to not **** up (ate just 20p Lidl tins of beans cold until payday won’t make that mistake again) now 22 years old I think I can safely say I am fully independent and now hopefully all the mistakes to learn from I took a very long time to study and compare many many index funds their costs, returns their spread everything I WAS OBSESSED I made my own pie which nearly replicated the MSCI all world with afew strategic changes for the time… just afew months before nvidia blew all AI/tech stocks were blo... What business type are we missing on Main Street that we could really use?8d agoOK here we go. This has been a thorn in my side for quite some time. And I have lived here in Hackensack for decades. I really like shopping in this neighborhood. I like that we have a walkable Main Street. I can hit Aldi, Lidl, get some great food, and get the occasional pedicure. But there are some businesses that are missing, and it drives me crazy. **All of Main Street is beauty salons, nail salons, barbershops, and food. Also add in a couple of smoke shops and dollar stores. That’s the entirety of Main Street.** There isn’t one single chain pharmacy anymore in the neighborhood. Rite Aid, which became Walgreens, is now gone. CVS has been gone for years. I remember being able to w... This is your moment, Lidl!9d agoYes, Lidl has scored a massive own goal with recent business decisions. Customers are not happy. This is the company that challenged the supermarket status quo and turned grocery shoppers into underdog advocates. They've made bargain hunting sexy. They've made low priced supermarket brands cool and been eating others' market share year after year with this approach. They've now changed their loyalty scheme to look indistinguishable from any other major supermarket and I'm also seeing (unconfirmed) posts about head office replacing swathes of staff with AI chatbots, starting with HR. All of a sudden, customers are thinking "hmmm aren't they behaving like t... Student and Part time Jobs14d agoHi everyone. I am an international master student in Germany, studying currently my 4th semester and i hope i will be done next year with my studies. I have been working as an Umzugshelfer for that 2 years. And since my city is quite small, there are 120k people living in it, it is quite difficult to find a job here. I progressed my German quite well which i have B2 certificate right now. But still i could not get any positions for student jobs or part time jobs. I have been applying to markets and shop (Rewe, Lidl, Kaufland, New Yorker, HM etc.) but somehow all of them rejecting me and i could not find a reason for these rejections. Do you have some recommendations as to what should i do? T... Tired of overhyped destinations? Here's how I spent 10 days exploring Slovenia for under $700 (and found zero crowd...14d agoI swear I nearly cried when I saw the bill for a 'budget' coffee in Venice. So, when a friend suggested Slovenia, I basically rolled my eyes... until I spent 10 days there for under $700 (and found zero tour bus crowds) 🌍. Look, I love exploring as much as the next person, but lately, it feels like every "hidden gem" is overrun by influencers and every "affordable" trip ends up costing a fortune. I'm a regular dude, not a travel blogger, and my last few trips left me feeling more drained than refreshed. My wallet was definitely feeling it, too. So, armed with a healthy dose of skepticism and a *very* strict budget, I decided to give Slovenia a shot this... Studentjob and Part-time Jobs14d agoHi everyone.
