Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the John Lewis Latest Community Discussions About John LewisSo I checked out the PX7 S3 and PX8 S2 today! (Noob review)1d ago[Prev post here](https://www.reddit.com/r/BowersWilkins/comments/1plhw8j/px7_s3_284_vs_px8_s2_504/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) So I went to John Lewis in the UK and checked both pairs out. PX8 S2 thoughts: * Better sounding by about 10% compared to the PX7 S3s. * Firmer earcup material (I am guessing this could be a bad thing for glasses wearers like me). * Earcups felt cooler to the touch which I am guessing is a good thing. * Much nicer materials overall. PX7 S3 thoughts: * Earcups are less firm so feel like they mould around my ears when wearing glasses more which is a bit more comfortable. *... Stranger things clock bauble1d agoWondering if anyone can help. Really keen to get the clock bauble from John Lewis but is sold out online. Apparently Oxford street store has 10. Is anyone able to confirm this before I book a trip to London. iPhone 16 pm (Cellular fault) UK2d agoiPhone 16 Pro Max ongoing fault since day 1, retailer refusing replacement/refund I bought an iPhone 16 Pro Max in February from John Lewis. From the day I bought it, my mobile data has been extremely slow or not working at all. • Went to Apple the next day diagnostics showed no hardware fault, they said it could be a network/SIM issue • Went to O2, got a new SIM same problem • Went back to Apple months later – same issue, they confirmed there was an alert/alarm related to cellular data, but still no repairable fault found • Apple told me to contact John Lewis as it’s a retailer issue In June, I contacted John Lewis and sent detailed Apple reports. They said the reports weren... A Christmas (parody) ad starring Benji the Border Terrier5d agoThis is a parody ad on YouTube based on the Christmas John Lewis (a well-known UK department store) ads. This is peak British humour! Enjoy! Can someone explain fabric to me?5d agoI feel like a complete ***** asking this, but I really don’t understand how fabric that you buy in shops works. My first machine is on the way and I’d love to make some clothes for my little boy but I am falling at the first hurdle - fabric selection! I live in the UK, so the main places to buy fabric are large department stores like John Lewis, craft stores like Hobbycraft or specialist independent sewing shops/market stalls. I am quite lucky in that there are a few shops and stalls near me that do sell fabric and have a variety of bolts. Almost all the fabric I’ve seen is - to my very beginner eye - the kind of fabric you’d make quilts out of, normally found in fat quarters ... Diptyque L’eau9d agoAnyone who is a regular on here (like me) will know that I’m a massive Diptyque fan with a large collection of their fragrances. Anyway my lovely partner & I were In town earlier and we stumbled into John Lewis and ended up at the Diptyque concession and I was sniffing 34 Boulevard st Germain EDT (I’m running low) and his wallet sort of fell open 🤣🤣(I’m very spoiled I know) but amongst the samples I was given was l’eau - this was the first fragrance diptyque created in 1968 omg it is absolutely stunning and unlike anything I have ever smelled before- has anyone else tried this absolutely beautiful scent??? I now have a problem!! I’m on strict no buy from January but... John Lewis refusing refund until they investigate13d agoHi, Ordered a new iPhone to collect from Sunday just gone. Collection date was delayed & then received an email from JL that my parcel was lost/damaged in transit & to contact them for a refund/replacement. After contacting them they’ve told me the item isn’t lost but staff haven’t been able to scan all products due to the high vol of Black Friday sales, & they need to do a full investigation to check the item isn’t in the store before they can refund me ‘due to the high value of the item’. They’re pushing back on my refund requests which is annoying - they’ve already failed to deliver by the intended date & have contradicted the email they ... Does anyone know why John Lewis doesn't open on Monday?14d agoI live nearby and am frequently in the city centre, but I don't go to John Lewis very often. I was hoping to go today (almost said tomorrow, but it's 3am, so... rip my sleep schedule), pop in to the habadashery section, and grab the quality street pick and mix while I'm there. But I noticed the John Lewis website itself says that it's closed on Monday, which was a surprise, I won't lie. I remember things closing on Sundays when I was younger, but never Mondays if it wasn't a bank holiday. But only the Leeds store says closed, the others don't. Is it every Monday that it closes? Or did I happen to pick the only Monday that it'll be closed? Anyway, mo... Ideas on Christmas shopping with British brands15d agoFollowing my post last week and with Christmas approaching, retail spending will be at its highest. So I’ve made an easy ideas list for British only companies. Would love to see comments full with recommendations GIFTS FOR HER (but works for anyone really) White Stuff jumpers and cardis half decent quality, british brand, looks good without being flashy M&S beauty sets safe choice if you’ve no idea what to get, reliable and not overpriced Joanie clothing bit quirky but decent fits and usually goes down well Whittard tea or choc hampers good solid gift, very british, simple and does the job GIFTS FOR HIM John Lewis flannel shirts proper quality, lasts longer than the cheap...
