IKEA Philippines and their store in Pasay recently won the Store of the Year Award, but I have no idea how or why? Despite it being the largest IKEA store in the world there are so many products that you simply cannot buy here. Latest example is the PS 2026 Collection: According to IKEA Global, the collection is available WORLDWIDE starting May 14th 2026, yet when you check IKEA Philippines they don’t have any of these products! Contacted IKEA Philippines and they have no clue when, or even if, these products will be available for local customers. The only award they deserve is the award for the Worst Store of the Year! Hi! I‘m currently planning a new wardrobe corner to replace an existing dresser, that just isn‘t accessible enough. I planned it with Platsa first.. And it‘s almost 1200€. (For Furniture made from cardboard, yikes) So then I used the Lastare Planner and in general I appreciate that it‘s more for clothes storage than Platsa… And it‘s literally half the price?! I love the scented candles and tealights at IKEA, but do you find that, whilst they smell wonderful in the store where there are thousands of them stacked high, once you get them home and light one, you barely notice the smell? My favourite from a few years back was ENSTAKA, which smelled of bonfires and log fires. Before that there was a similar 'smoky' smelling one under a different name that I now forget. Hi, I have an IKEA kitchen that previous owner bought with an integrated washing machine. I took this drop-leaf table from my grandmother after she passed because I had a lot of fond memories eating at it with her. My mother believes it was from the first Ikea store that opened in the United States. I have not been able to find any markings on it to indicate who made it and have not spotted it in any of the historic Ikea catalogs.
