The only UK based Airbus Helicopters H160 parked at Oban Airport [OC]7d agoM-SKTO is currently the only H160 here in the UK (though there are more being delivered very soon). Shes owned by TJ Morris Ltd., the parent company of Home Bargains. Home Bargains are opening a new store in Oban tomorrow, so she brought some execs up from Liverpool. Seen here parked on H2. I take the exact same portion with milk and this has been my routine every day. I noticed it started to disappear from supermarket shelves earlier this year, but I was still able to find it in some stores (Home Bargains being one) but it's been confirmed by Kellog's that they've discontinued it and no more will be produced. I'm really at a loss of what to do because I don't have a lot of safe foods, especially breakfast foods and I also don't want to lose this morning routine as I have always stuck to it. Does anyone know of a cereal that's similar I could t... Finding the cheap Cornettos that someone had hidden at the bottom of the freezer in Home Bargains.17d agoThey were selling them for £1.39 for a box of 6 strawberry in Home Bargains.(Not sure if it’s all stores) I saw the sign but couldn’t see the cornettos so I went digging and a dozen or more boxes of pistachio and chocolate later I found some that someone had obviously stashed there. I took 2 and left them with some. Apologies to the disappointed staff member/customer who had hidden them but I couldn’t resist at that price. Japanese Coca-Cola bought at a UK discount store (Home Bargains)41d agoGormiti New Era in the UK @ Home Bargains41d agoFound more Gormiti at Home Bargains; again they probably only carry these in the larger stores. This time it is New Era figures, which were also never released here. Large figures are £2.99 and the small ones £1.49. Is this new in the uk46d agoThey are being sold at my local home bargains for 60P Checkout the latest realism mod57d agoLooks just like a real Lego! (It's not...it's Blockz) Whole set cost under £10 from Home Bargains in the UK. Wife bought me most of the sets a few weeks ago, but I was missing the last set - my local stores didn't have it in. Well, today I was delivering to a shop in a different town and there was a Home Bargains next door. For 99p I got the last bit of the set 😁 Home Bargains/B&M61d agoWhat are people's thoughts on the discount stores such as Home Bargains and B&M? I popped into my local B&M recently to try and buy a new mop head. The cleaning aisle was pretty packed but the only mopping items I could find was the reuseable Flash ones. The only other alternative was to buy a new mop which I didn't really want. So I had a quick browse round the shelves but didn’t see much that seemed a bargain or particularly useful. To expand on the above question, do you regularly shop at the above stores and, if so, what do you find to be of good value? Mannequin customs64d agoSaw some wooden art mannequins at Home Bargains (a retail chain in the UK), and bought a few of them to customise them into some of the Mannequin characters. They were like, a couple of pounds each. Had to tag this post as fan art, since there currently isn't one for customs. Abel: He's literally the easiest one to customise, as you'd just need a sharpie or any black permanent marker to doodle a smiley face. Additional Voices (lilac): He's complete. Just had to paint a fairly thin layer of lilac acrylic paint onto a wooden mannequin. Disappearing Guy: Currently not yet complete. Just to find some modelling clay to craft his hat. Ming: Same deal as Disappearing Guy... Could someone rate my resume? I'm looking for Mechanical Engineering roles.73d ago[0 YoE, Retail Assistant, Mechanical Engineer, United Kingdom]74d agohttps://preview.redd.it/jfizmvwov1og1.png?width=5100&format=png&auto=webp&s=ae177e85798421e53de2d56d5b5a94efea506955 Graduated Mechanical Engineering last summer but have had no luck finding jobs. I've decided to do a complete remake of my resume. With my previous resume, which was basically a 2 page giant wall of text, I had zero responses. I've got no professional experience in the industry which is a bummer and is probably what is making it so much harder. I'm looking for mechanical engineering roles mainly, but across all sectors, so I'm open to jobs in the civil sector, automotive, HVAC, aerospace etc. In fact I'd even be open to finance... I've been using a different resume before this that was horrible, too lengthy, bad format no STAR technique. But now I have implemented that and cut it down. I used the template provided in this subreddits wiki. What you think can be improved still? I'm open to jobs in all kinds of sectors as long as they are mechanical based, which is why I've tried to talk about skills that can be used across the board. Help! Parking Fine Linwood93d agoHi all, hoping for some local advice. We parked at ASDA Linwood while buying groceries for a large group. After finishing the shop, we drove to nearby stores (e.g. Home Bargains) to pick up other things, then returned to ASDA the same day to get the remaining items we’d forgotten. A few days later, we received a ParkingEye charge for “returning within 2 hours”. The issue is that we genuinely don’t remember seeing any clear or obvious signage about a “no return within 2 hours” rule when we parked. Nothing stood out at the entrance or around the car park, and as we’re not from the area, we had no reason to expect this restriction. If we’d been aware of the rule, we obviousl... I don't shave so it's not a reaction from that, I keep the hair neat and not too long. I plan to keep trialing different antiperspirants, mostly hoping to find a natural one I like. In the day it's not so bad but at night I run hot and wake hating the way I smell if I don't wear deoderant to bed. I used to use these wipes called 'skin and surface antibacterial wipes' from Home Bargains in England, they were absolutely amazing for wiping myself down, sp... Got to say, when comparing different products and online stores I wasnt prepared for the assault of deliberate obfuscation of key information, crappy websites, dark patterns and borderline scammy marketing tactics that seems to have taken over the sector in my absence :( The prices for similar products are all over the place which tells me that I'm not wasting my time on this task, but can someone give me a shortcut to the answer I'm looking for? I don't care about flavours or 'extras' just the highest amount of protein per £. I seem to rem...
