What is the reason?1d agoI have no idea what is wrong. I am trying to send a package to a friend in the US - via FedEx, since no one else except FedEx and DHL sends stuff to the US from my country (Poland) now, and it is a gift I really want them to get this month. I have scheduled a package pickup (there are no offices in my area and I cannot physically go to one) for 13th October. No one came to pick it up. The customer service said that "the parcel was not prepared for pickup" but when I asked what was not prepared and what do they mean, they just said I need to schedule a new pickup time. I did, for 14th october, and ONCE AGAIN no one showed up. It's 15th, I have had scheduled 3 pickup dates f... Stop Pretending You Care About “Small Businesses” While You Cheer the Destruction of Good Jobs1d agoLet’s cut through the bullshit. The Canada Post strike revealed exactly who stands where when workers dare to ask for their share of the value they create. And what we learned is that a lot of Canadians have been so thoroughly propagandized by decades of neoliberal talking points that they’ll side with management, billionaires, and foreign multinationals over their own neighbors who deliver their mail in blizzards. You spent weeks crying about your delayed parcels and small business losses while cheering when the government banned the strike without even a parliamentary vote. You blamed workers for asking for wages that keep up with inflation while ignoring that Canada Post management... Comment if you used ECMS1d agoI have 150+ items to ship and have been organizing them into item type for packing. So far 4 are packed, and it costs 98,494 yen to ship them with tariffs accounting for 56,304 yen of that. I have chosen to use DHL because I don’t want to use UPS at the moment, but this is way too much. I could use FedEx, but one of the parcels contains a lot of tapestries (fabric) and it seems like FedEx asks for textile information the most out of all carriers. However, ECMS seems to be much cheaper. For anyone who has used it, how long did it take to arrive in the US and what was the condition of the box? There are many “rare”/limited items in my parcels that cannot be easily be replaced. I heard ... TCGTracking for PWE & more - system migration, e-postage, AVS and more.1d agoHi everyone - Thanks for tons of excellent feedback over the last few months, I wanted to group together a bunch of the new things! I also wanted to express that I really enjoy the development side (forgive me on UI) and more importantly a platform that users see benefits from. >**TLDR**: [TCGTracking.com](http://TCGTracking.com) is completing migration for order management or quick creation of trackable envelopes, insurance with new features like e-postage including normal carrier labels. The order management platform is $0.00 per month, making labels, reprinting and other new features are $0.00. You may optionally opt for insurance and pay a fee per package (on ones you want) - you... I feel like Canada really doesn’t need canada post. I would much rather know and pay for private companies such as fed...1d agoI dont see how this is different from a bank all of a sudden deciding its not going to let you access your own money that you have with them. There is zero reliability left and I don’t even understand how the union can believe Canadians will stand by them when they purposefully went about it in such a way to screw everyone over. At least this year they didn’t wait until Christmas. Point is I think its time we start shifting to completely electronic mail and for important documents that must be mailed just use a private company and get rid of canada post entirely if they are gonna act like babies all the time. Imagine you go to a restaurant and you pay in advance for yiur meal and the... Should I expect "extra fees" on low cost DDP shipments?1d agoI'm using a small business service that has contracts with major courier like fedex. I get a quoted rate for FedEx shipping (DDP) which includes duties and taxes in the price I have to pay, but it is an estimate. This means they reserve the right to bill extra and after the fact if needed. If I ship a parcel (value 20$) from Canada to USA using FedEx international connect plus (this option also claims brokerage fees are included) am I likely to get billed additional fees after the fact? If so, how long will it take for me to get billed the extra amount after the fact? I'll be shipping several of the exact same orders, so I'd like to know before I send them all off at on... Sick of so many scams in India!1d agoHi Guys, everyday I open the newspaper I read about some or the other person getting scammed. And these scams do not involve small amounts like some thousand Rs but are of more than some lakhs. The scam doesn't only happen with uneducated ones but also some well educated ones get scammed. I really feel bad for those who lose their hard earned money. I mean not everyone has black money with them, some people lose their lifetime savings but scammers do not feel anything. Scams since last 10 yrs are on peak, no wonder India is ranked 10 in the world cybercrime index. People fall for following scams - 🕵️♂️ TRAI Impersonation Scams in India 👮♂️ Digital Arrest Scams... Fedex has my parcel in clearance for OVER 5 weeks, what gives?2d agohttps://preview.redd.it/s44ojt2m52vf1.jpg?width=991&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1f9f576588e8996375ff7f8414d7ebaf7e6c4254 I've had a parcel that was in import clearance state since 8th September and there hasn't been any progress with the clearance of this particular parcel. I've called up Fedex and sent in contact forms numerous times and they've constantly informed me that the Australian Border Force is inspecting parcels and packages before completing deliveries. But when I call up the ABF, they claim that they DO NOT inspect parcels being delivered/managed by Fedex. Fedex still claims that the parcel hasn't passed clearance. Any idea how ... Does the DDP amount seem correct for leather jacket2d agoFirst time shipping through Zenmarket. Price of the parcel is ¥286,000 and total shipping cost (DDP included) is ¥74328 (¥11018 shipping). Does that seem correct? I was expecting 15% and this is ~22%. This was with UPS. I'm wondering if the customs fees will be lower with FedEx or DHL. The shipping price is roughly the same for all three. USA, Tariffs & Polaroid - an outsider perspective2d agoLong post, but I thought some of you might want to know a bit more on the USA tariff situation – as viewed from 14500 kilometres away. I have seen many posts here talking about Polaroid price increases, many people wondering how tariffs are affecting the industry, and I've had clients reach out to me to see if the tariffs will be affecting their repair bill. So I figured I'd give some insight into how myself and other businesses are being affected. As well as some interesting info on how the new system works. **Context:** I am located in Australia and run my own business refurbishing Polaroid cameras. After more than a decade as a hobby side hustle it is now my main form of inco... My FedEx Inspired Game Is At Next Fest :)2d agohey guys I hope you are well! Customs fees: Canada Post vs Fedex3d agoCan someone please explain why posting a gift to Canada (from Australia) has never incurred a Canadian customs fee yet sending a gift via a courier (Fedex (also from Australia to Canada)) has cost me close to $30 in an unexpected 'outstanding duties and taxes’ fee? The receiver has never been asked to pay a fee when I used Australia/Canada Post to send the parcels. And the gift has always been <$100. Received a refund for my label, but parcel arrived at destination without delay?3d agoAs described above. Got a refund for my FedEx ground label on Wednesday, haven’t been charged since and the parcel arrived in the USA (shipping from Canada) without delay. I messaged live chat and they had no idea what I was talking about as no refund showed on the tracking number. They ended the chat without saying much else. Has anyone else ever had this happen? What should I do? I don’t want this to show up in collections later. Has anyone used Japan Rabbit recently? How accurate is their shipping calculator?4d agoI recently ordered a pair of Converse J shoes from Converse Japan and had them shipped to the Japan Rabbit warehouse. My total order (including their service fee) came out to around **$77 USD**. It was billed just today to be ordered to their warehouse and then I have to choose a shipment method for international shipment to Jordan. I’m now trying to decide which shipping method to use to Jordan, and I noticed that the Japan Rabbit **shipping calculator** gives me an EMS estimate of around **$38 USD** (for a 1300–1400g package, roughly 35 × 25 × 13 cm as far as I've researched for basic converse shoes packages). Before I choose, I wanted to ask: * How accurate has the... Has anyone used Japan Rabbit recently?
