How come if my parcel is over 6kg it automatically switches to dhl route? There is no dpd route when im over 6kg and so the price doubles Anyone knows what to do?

It's important to understand where relay are in the pecking order of couriers. Amazon drivers are the highest in line, DSP kinda defies the rules but flex is a better example. You work directly for the retailer and often you will get better treatment. You dont need to take pictures on deliveries, you can call the customer etc. The 2nd party couriers like royal mail, dpd are paid by the retailer to deliver their packages. It's less user friendly, you dont get to call the customer, the courier doesnt have intel on the customer to know when theyre home (using the amazon app, or echo/ring devices for example), you will have to wait more at the door and have more returns. I've been having an absolute mare with DPD UK. When they delivered the Enterprise, they said they would deliver it between 8:30-9:30 in the morning, only to deliver it nearly 12 hours later at 7:30pm. Does Anyone from Austria have experience with shipping times once the Parcel arrives at an Austrian premises? Im not in a rush or stressed to receive it, im asking purely out of curiosity because my parcel arrived in an austrian dpd premises yesterday at 3pm (though in upper austria which is not my state) and i wanted to know if there’s a decent chance to receive it today or if its likelier to be monday given the fact delivery wont happen on the weekend. A DPD delivery driver took my order to the wrong address. From the photo, I think I can guess where it went BUT the people who live there are problematic and I really don't want to knock on the door. They have serious mental health problems and have threatened people with knives before so all the neighbours leave them alone. I don't even know for sure if they have it. If Evri leave your parcel half a mile down the road and it’s missing, you don’t contact Evri you contact whoever you bought the parcel from. Your contract is not with Evri, it is with the retailer and the retailer must either refund or replace the lost parcel. Don’t let the retailer push for you to contact Evri, it is on them. Don’t bother engaging with Evri, or DPD, or Royal Mail or whoever sends it. Go to the retailer. Don’t immediately file a charge back like I’ve seen some people saying, it’s a very simple process of contacting the retailer. Only do a chargeback of retailer refuses a refund.
