So I'm on a private prescription with Imago and I noticed that the price I pay if I go to a boots pharmacy vs using the Clynxx online delivery is different even though the delivery is meant to be free, it still worked out more expensive online last time. Just wondering if prices are different across multiple pharmacies and if anyone knows what the cheapest option is, my prescription is really pricey so any saving helps 😭

Heads up for any regulars who stop in at the Boots Pharmacy airside at LHR T3. The site is currently boarded up and being renovated, with a temporary WH Smith pop-up providing the basics from that chain. There’s no Boots pop-up though - and worse, I was just talking to one of the staff at the QF Lounge check in and he reckons it isn’t coming back post-renovations. He did mention there’s talk of a new pharmacy chain opening up but it’s only rumours. So, for now, if you need anything before you fly you’ll need to go to the pharmacy landside, down the end of level 1 towards Arrivals.

I have currently been waiting nearly 3 weeks for my local Boots pharmacy to fulfill my prescription for Meflynate XL (modified release) 60mg. It appears that no other local branch has any stock either. They are usually fairly prompt with obtaining various medications so I suspect it is a genuine issue. Whilst I am aware that there are only a handful of suppliers/wholesalers (at best), I don't know whether this is just a local/group supply chain issue or a nationwide shortage. Is anyone aware of any current supply chain issues? Thanks 😊

Sustanon is out of stock with olympia pharmacy so I figured I'd put it on here and update when I find somewhere that actually stocks it. They said they'd have stock in January last month then today said they're out until next month so they're not worth ordering from anymore especially since they don't tell you it's out of stock when you're paying for it and don't give updates. I bought a haircare product from Boots (pharmacy) that came in cardboard packaging and this was inside. The product itself was sealed, but no idea how this note made its way into the outer packaging. It didn't appear to be visibly tampered (other than the note lol).

Okay so I’ve been given conflicting answers by different pharmacies. I have no medical conditions myself that make me eligible, however I live with my 69-year old mother who has severe COPD, she struggles with breathing and mobility due to her condition and receives PIP. Repeat prescription ordered on Sunday, confirmed as received Monday, took my last pill Friday, visited nominated pharmacy Saturday to be told there's a nationwide shortage with Propranolol modified release tablets and no Boots pharmacy in the city has any stock. When I went to London from the US last year, I had way too much fun in the menopause / vaginal health section of a Boots pharmacy. It was so much better & so different than what I can find in my local drug store in the US. (Thank you, UK.) I’m going to Amsterdam for a week in a couple of weeks. For those of you and the UK who are familiar with either the OTC Boots Pharmacy brand or the OTC CanesOasis brand (4 g granules diluted in water, 3 times/day for 2 days) can you please tell those of us who live in the US, who do not have access to this in our country: 1) How does this help alleviate the burning and stinging of a UTI, in other words, what is the mechanism of action? 2) And why is it that it can only be used for 48 hours for no more than 6 sachets, dissolved in water?
