First time purchasing this and received yesterday. I’ve never seen a box like this in all the reviews I’ve watched, plus images online. The boxes seem to be with a base for the bottle to sit in and the top cover that slides over it. Now it’s just a regular cardboard box. Is this right? Or is something else going on here? edit: Purchased from Boots pharmacy (UK). Cheapest pharmacy in London for Isotretinoin (private prescription)?27d agoHi all, I have been given a private prescription for isotretinoin. However, I know that Boots pharmacy are quite expensive to some other clinics. What are some more affordable clinics for isotretinoin? Deacon Blue - Real Gone Kid 📀29d ago🎶"Real Gone Kid"🎶 is a song by Scottish 🏴 pop rock band Deacon Blue. Vocalist Ricky Ross 🎙 wrote the song about a performance he saw of ex-Lone Justice singer Maria McKee during a time when Deacon Blue and Lone Justice toured together. The lyrics are a tribute to McKee, with the narrator using the term 🎶"real gone kid"🎶 as a designation for craziness, referring to McKee's "wild" onstage performance style. The song was included on Deacon Blue's second studio album, When the World Knows Your Name 📀 (1989). Issued on 3 October 1988 as the first single from the album, the 🎶"Real Gone Kid"... HRT Private prescription costs41d agoSo I'm on a private prescription with Imago and I noticed that the price I pay if I go to a boots pharmacy vs using the Clynxx online delivery is different even though the delivery is meant to be free, it still worked out more expensive online last time. Just wondering if prices are different across multiple pharmacies and if anyone knows what the cheapest option is, my prescription is really pricey so any saving helps 😭 13/14 DPO44d agoTest on the far right is 13/14dpo, the other 2 on the left are from the last 2 days, do they look too light? They are boots pharmacy tests No more Boots Pharmacy at LHR T355d agoHeads up for any regulars who stop in at the Boots Pharmacy airside at LHR T3. The site is currently boarded up and being renovated, with a temporary WH Smith pop-up providing the basics from that chain. There’s no Boots pop-up though - and worse, I was just talking to one of the staff at the QF Lounge check in and he reckons it isn’t coming back post-renovations. He did mention there’s talk of a new pharmacy chain opening up but it’s only rumours. So, for now, if you need anything before you fly you’ll need to go to the pharmacy landside, down the end of level 1 towards Arrivals. Meflynate XL supply issues?68d agoI have currently been waiting nearly 3 weeks for my local Boots pharmacy to fulfill my prescription for Meflynate XL (modified release) 60mg. It appears that no other local branch has any stock either. They are usually fairly prompt with obtaining various medications so I suspect it is a genuine issue. Whilst I am aware that there are only a handful of suppliers/wholesalers (at best), I don't know whether this is just a local/group supply chain issue or a nationwide shortage. Is anyone aware of any current supply chain issues? Thanks 😊 Feels like I'm overpaying for my Wegovy, need some advice.87d ago*I have a health condition that causes some to have an increased risk of pancreatitis. I however am extremely healthy and have had tests done showing my pancreas is in very good condition. The specialist for my condition has even told me to go ahead and that there are zero issues from their perspective.* *The issue is that a lot of prescribers see this health condition and, flat refusing to prescribe or even talk about it further (boots pharmacy were especially bad for this.)* I finally found someone willing to prescribe Wegovy for me and has been doing for a couple of months but I think they are over-charging me what feels like a fortune. They claim this is because they offer a hi... Sustanon stock88d agoSustanon is out of stock with olympia pharmacy so I figured I'd put it on here and update when I find somewhere that actually stocks it. They said they'd have stock in January last month then today said they're out until next month so they're not worth ordering from anymore especially since they don't tell you it's out of stock when you're paying for it and don't give updates. I luckily checked twice with them before ordering my prescription so I still have it to take to pharmacies. I've put in inquiries with like 2 online pharmacies and did a stock check on boots pharmacies and one ten miles from me has it in stock so I might try a local boots ... Found in haircare packaging93d agoI bought a haircare product from Boots (pharmacy) that came in cardboard packaging and this was inside. The product itself was sealed, but no idea how this note made its way into the outer packaging. It didn't appear to be visibly tampered (other than the note lol). Boots Pharmacy in Avenues closed. Is there any other branch here?101d agoLongshot - Prudhoe Boots Pharmacy107d agoTaking a chance here. Does anyone know if Boots Pharmacy in Prudhoe is open now? I see Google Maps says 09:00 - 17:00. They are not answering their phone. Answering service selection menu says they are open. I am trying to check stock before I make the journey from Crawcrook. Their online stock check does not help. I'm looking for Co-codamol Am I eligible for a free flu vaccine?118d agoOkay so I’ve been given conflicting answers by different pharmacies. I have no medical conditions myself that make me eligible, however I live with my 69-year old mother who has severe COPD, she struggles with breathing and mobility due to her condition and receives PIP. I do class myself as her only carer, however this is not “official” and I do not claim Carer’s Allowance. My local pharmacy said I wasn’t eligible as I don’t claim Carer’s Allowance. However, today Boots pharmacy said I was eligible, but they don’t have any in stock. I asked my GP surgery and the receptionist didn’t seem to have a definite answer either, and they didn’t get back to me despite saying they ... Nationwide medication shortage and new online system for GP leaving me without my medication for 5+ days.126d agoRepeat prescription ordered on Sunday, confirmed as received Monday, took my last pill Friday, visited nominated pharmacy Saturday to be told there's a nationwide shortage with Propranolol modified release tablets and no Boots pharmacy in the city has any stock. Numerous calls to non-Boots pharmacies, none have it in stock. Pharmacist cannot offer an alternative without a prescription, suggested calling 111. Called 111 to be told as it's an alternative medication, I have to speak to my GP. Can't phone the practice as it's online based now, submitted my request and it's not 2 working days wait time for a call back. Taken it 10+ years for anxiety, never missed a d... Traveling Post Menopause128d agoIn my olden days, I didn’t need to pack 2-3 products for my ****** when I went away. Now, my ****** gets its own travel pouch of lotions & potions & prescription estrogen. When I went to London from the US last year, I had way too much fun in the menopause / vaginal health section of a Boots pharmacy. It was so much better & so different than what I can find in my local drug store in the US. (Thank you, UK.) I’m going to Amsterdam for a week in a couple of weeks. Please help me find my friends childhood bear for sale?134d agoShe lost the bear on holiday when she was a young girl and I would love to know if anyone can find this bear for sale? I think it's from boots pharmacy and was sold around the 1980s Cystitis relief crystals165d agoFor those of you and the UK who are familiar with either the OTC Boots Pharmacy brand or the OTC CanesOasis brand (4 g granules diluted in water, 3 times/day for 2 days) can you please tell those of us who live in the US, who do not have access to this in our country: 1) How does this help alleviate the burning and stinging of a UTI, in other words, what is the mechanism of action? 2) And why is it that it can only be used for 48 hours for no more than 6 sachets, dissolved in water? What adverse impact would it have if someone used it more than 2 days? 3) Why is there a warning on the packaging that this cannot be used by men? I discovered these while in London.
