Aldi has been considered cheapest for the 3rd month in a row. 95 items for £171.32 which is not too bad.. question is how long those items will last ? Prices have increased, products have shrunk... I was just in an Asda in a town with a large Muslim population in the NW of England. They had a display of Eid cards next to a stand of boxes of dates. I love dates and went to pick a box. I was looking for country of origin and the Asda own brand dates, on the back, in small letters said "packed in Israel". I have a video I can share and I thought there may be plenty of people buying dates and not noticing this tiny print who might otherwise choose a different brand. The absolute nerve of Asda marketing and Israeli products to Muslims at Eid makes my head spin.
