Hi guys! I recently saw that a ton of Apple stores in NYC were “taking future applicants” for specialists a week ago. I applied, then saw that it changed to “hiring now” today so I changed a few things on my resume (really just my address that changed lol.) Interested to hear from those of you who have both which you consider as having the better ANC (primarily for commuting in NYC subway system and moderately noisy open floor office environment). Context: APP2 user here. Been pretty happy with them (though there is a part of me that thinks Apple made the ANC slightly less effective via a firmware update to get us APP2 users to upgrade, but that’s just my personal conspiracy theory). Anyway, was in an Apple Store today and tried the APM2. With no music playing, the difference was pretty night and day compared with my APP2. So now I’m wondering if the APP3 would be even better?

I was pretty deep into the Samsung ecosystem before I decided to switch to iPhone. Now I’ve got a Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro that I can technically still use, pero hindi na to their full potential. Brought an Apple Watch from a london Apple Store today. They guy made me scan in and was able to see all my Apple products. Which I found quite invasive. Anyway watch brought with cash, another staff member called over to double count. He said I'll receive an email receipt, showed me my name and email address which was correct. I received alerts today that there had been multiple charges (one at an apple store for like $1500 and a bunch of target charges) to three different accounts of mine: Chase Credit Card, Schwab checking, and a long dormant Cash App card that I didn't even know I had (apparently i got a card in 2021 and never used it). I set up a fraud alert with experian, reported fraud to chase, schwab, and cash app. Closed my cash app account. Got new cards at schwab and chase. Had schwab issue me a new account number and everything. Changed email passwords. Changed passwords to every financial account. Is there anything else I should do? Is it just me or is TikTok ads an absolute lie? On the same page I have a card that says my ads in the top 10% and then scroll down and it says it’s not doing as well as similar posts.. both have a CTA. To add to this, every ad I’ve ran tells me the conversion was really good but revenuecat or AppleStoreConnect don’t reflect the same numbers.. not even close. I call bs on TikTok.
