Picked this 7 qt beauty up for $39.99 today at my work drive Aldi. I wasn't really in the market for one but have always wanted one, so I couldn't pass this up. I searched and see some people have had trouble with these Croftons in the past, I will do my best to take it easy on the enamel. I'm so excited for this gift for myself and my family. My husband and I are starting to try new tins. Our obsession started with Old Fisherman roasted eel from the local Asian market. It was cheap and delicious with rice and a side of veggies. Then we tried smoked oysters from Aldi. And a variety set from Fishwife. Now, it is one of our favorite meals. Picking tins, trying new seafood and brands. It is the best. This is a meager collection compared to some, but we are excited! Any recommendations? We usually pair our tins with white rice, are we missing out on any pairings?
