Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Adidas Latest Community Discussions About AdidasDid anyone actually ask for this?13h agohttps://www.wtoc.com/2026/05/15/savannahs-eastside-getting-citys-first-ever-sprouts-farmers-market-former-childrens-theater-site/ Whole Foods is already pissing distance from where this will be,and this store doesn’t offer anything that WF doesn’t already. I would be down with a Trader Joe’s as there are at least some things there that affordable to the average person, but Sprouts is pretentious über alles and the furthest thing from what this area needs. I’d be happy with a Food Lion; I know there’s one down Skidaway a ways, but the options right here for us far-from-affluent folk in Twickenham,Ben Van Clark,Live Oak,et al are insanely limited and all pretty ****** across the boar... One Month of Doordashing19h agoOne month of DD driving (with some Instacart multi-apping sprinkled in) while interviewing for jobs. Daily routine is driving morning, lunch, and dinner while studying + interviewing for tech roles at coffee shops / Wendy's / etc. I'm fortunate to be in a good market so I can cherry pick but here are my one month breakdown - this is most useful for transitioning professionals in a good DD market. * **Find your hotspot / routes & have standards for orders**. I am in a market where I expect to make $36 - $45 an hour. I would rather not take an order for 30 minutes and study for interviews in the car than take a bad order. Only time I'd make an exception is on ... Really happy with this1d agoNormally a market basket girly (shoutout New England) but decided to stop in Aldi today. I think this giant bag was $6?? A bag this big of berries is normally $9+ and they’re usually all broken up into tiny pieces, especially the raspberries. Was happy to open this up and see nice whole berries!! And they’re so yummy. Strategies for serious bulk pantry stocking in Germany? (Looking for alternatives to standard weekly discounter runs)2d agoHallo zusammen, I have been trying to optimize my grocery shopping routine here in Germany, but I am hitting a bit of a wall when it comes to buying style. Back home, I was used to purchasing long-shelf-life staples and non-perishables in true bulk quantities to save time and keep a deeply stocked pantry. I am looking to buy items like tuna cans by the flat, large catering-sized bags of frozen ingredients, and dry goods in massive quantities. The issue is that the standard German grocery landscape seems incredibly fragmented. Going to Lidl, Aldi, or REWE every single week for tiny individual portions of these items is frustrating and time-consuming. I know METRO exists, but since it is st... I'm moving to a city recommended the last time I posted to this sub5d agoSo last time I posted, I asked for these conditions: 1. <20 minute commute to Aldi or Walmart and other amenities 2. Low to moderate state and local taxes 3. Semi-decent to decent school district available in the area 4. Acreage for an affordable price 5. Beautiful nature views and frankly I didn't think I'd be able to find anything that worked out. In fact several commenters told me that this was impossible – that low taxes was equivalent to bad schools, that acreage near amenities would be impossibly expensive, that beautiful views demands a price premium, etc. Well, I think I've found my spot. I'm moving to a rural area in Northwest Arkansas, a 15 minut... My love for Aldi Shiraz is ending5d agoHas anyone seen this Shiraz stocked in their local Aldi store recently? I need confirmation that my all-time favorite wine is forever gone outside of our local markets. How much are we spending on Groceries in RVA?5d agoMy partner (38m) and I (34f) are spending a ridiculous amount on groceries. We don’t have much wasted, and I prepare all of our meals so there aren’t many processed or packaged food being purchased. I worry that we’re over spending on high quality food vs. prices just being that high. I don’t audit my budget often but money’s been tight recently. I was laid off six months ago and I’m having a hard time securing employment. We are currently spending an average of \~$300 per week. I shop at Aldi, the local farmer’s market, Whole Foods (rarely), Wegmans (rarely), Fresh to Frozen, and mostly Kroger. We eat healthy, paleo/whole30 kind of lifestyle. We try to eat local &... What DD Thinks of Its Drivers5d agoI regularly catch Dash Mart shops on Saturdays and Sundays for ALDI, Winn Dixie, and Fresh Markets. I've done around 20 of each, at each store. DD ALWAYS pays $22-$24 for Fresh Market. Today it was $10. More than 50% down when my gas is nearly 50% UP. Long babble on my 2026 Rose Planting Season5d agohttps://preview.redd.it/1cyfwzfp8r1h1.png?width=468&format=png&auto=webp&s=281e1ecc5d9eb268916cd69ee5b4abee12d5db9f My 2026 Rose planting season has come to an end a couple of weeks ago. Read on if you are interested: \- 20 new rose plants, either in new spots or replacing prior rose plants. \-5 in pots, new potting mix, 2 new pots \-8 existing rose plants were shovel pruned onto skid row to make way for new rose plants. 2 of those choose death or attempt to live on skid row. New to the area- tell me about Sendiks5d agoWe are moving to the area next month from out of state and have to figure out all our new shopping routines. There is a Sendiks market nearby. Is this just specialty shopping? Just for fancy meat and cheese? We are currently Aldi/costco people for our main shopping. Queen victoria markets, cheaper than colesworth?6d agoHavent actually been there before and was wondering, are the prices of produce in the Queen victoria markets worth the trouble of going there in person? Compared to colesworths or even Aldi prices? Your $2,000 of freeze-dried food has bought you 72 hours. What's your plan after that?6d ago\*\*The survival food industry has convinced Australian preppers that freeze-dried meals are a preparedness strategy. They're not. They're a starting point.\*\* Before anyone comes for me — yes, I think compressed survival biscuits and short-term emergency food packs are genuinely useful. They belong in your go-bag, your car kit, and your 72-hour supply. They're calorie-dense, they don't require cooking, they have a long shelf life, and when the power goes out at 11pm and you need to eat something while you figure out what's happening, they do exactly what they're supposed to do. That's not what I'm arguing about. What I'm arguing about is the ... PSA- DON'T WORK AT MOONS IF YOU ARE A COLLEGE STUDENT!!!7d agoBit of a rant/ramble but needed to get the word out to help other college kids applying to the 'witchy' stores near Essex. I moved 7+ hrs away from my home after visiting a month ago to apartment/job hunt, since I got accepted into SSU for the fall term. One of the places that seemed very interested in me was moons. I was very upfront with them that YES I am available to work full-time during summer-november (all of the busy season), though I MIGHT need to switch to part-time afterwards depending on how school is going/midterms/finals, etc. I let them know this when I walked in, and with the owner a month later when they scheduled my interview 2 days after I moved. I should hav... Case Breakdown: "Should This PE Firm Acquire a Regional Grocery Chain?" — Full Walkthrough7d agoI want to start sharing full case breakdowns here — not the polished textbook versions, but the way I'd actually think through these in a live interview. Here's one modeled after a real PE/due diligence case I've seen variants of multiple times. --- **The Prompt:** Your client is a mid-market PE firm evaluating an $800M acquisition of a 45-store regional grocery chain in the Midwest United States. The fund has a 5-7 year holding period. They want your recommendation: should they proceed? --- **Step 1: Clarifying Questions** Before I touch structure, I'd ask: - What's the fund's target IRR? (Assume 20%+ for mid-market PE) - Is this a platform acquisition... Termite enters a pub & says "Is the bartender here?" What business type are we missing on Main Street that we could really use?8d agoOK here we go. This has been a thorn in my side for quite some time. And I have lived here in Hackensack for decades. I really like shopping in this neighborhood. I like that we have a walkable Main Street. I can hit Aldi, Lidl, get some great food, and get the occasional pedicure. But there are some businesses that are missing, and it drives me crazy. **All of Main Street is beauty salons, nail salons, barbershops, and food. Also add in a couple of smoke shops and dollar stores. That’s the entirety of Main Street.** There isn’t one single chain pharmacy anymore in the neighborhood. Rite Aid, which became Walgreens, is now gone. CVS has been gone for years. I remember being able to w...
