Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the Aldi Latest Community Discussions About AldiFree range eggs?9h agoedit: I meant pasture raised eggs folks - sorry 😅 I’m new to Aldi - and it’s not too easy for me to get to one. I’m trying to limit my shopping at WF. The only thing I’m still getting from WF is the Vital Farm Free Range eggs. Does Aldi have something similar? I also noticed not all free range eggs are the same. The ones from TJ don’t have the orange yolks like Vital Farm -or those from farmers market in the summer. New US and Canadian CCS chargers in November 202514h agoHey electrons, **Here are all (\*) of the new US and Canadian CCS (Level 3 fast-charging) stations that rolled out in November 2025,** according to the US Department of Energy. You can [get the data yourself here](https://afdc.energy.gov/data_download). These chargers are suitable for most new EVs on the market, except for: 1. Tesla drivers who haven't bought the official CCS adapter yet. Certain older Teslas need additional work done to accept the adapter. 2. Nissan Leaf owners, owners of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, and some owners of older cars that also use CHAdeMO. If you drive such a car, see my matching post in r/leaf. **Some of these chargepoints will be "refreshes... Russia’s furthest territorial control during the first Chechen war (July 1996)1d agoCustomized Advent Calendars2d agoI started doing advent calendars with our kids when they were little (both are now teens.) We used the chocolate calendars from World Market or Aldi until switching to customized ones last year. We are starting ours today with a 12 day countdown - last one opened is on Christmas Eve, which is the gift behind the bulbs. That one is a game for the whole family to play together. Some of the things I've included in the bulbs are keychains, coin purse with a couple dollars in it, candy for watching movies together, face masks, hair wraps, etc. Foods and things to bring home from Germany2d agoGuten Tag allerseits! My partner and I (and our dog) will be coming by train from the Netherlands to Cologne for a short visit to see the Christmas markets. I would like to bring back some good German foods and home things that we don't have in the Netherlands. We plan to go to Aldi, but not sure where else yet. One thing I want for sure is frozen large pretzels. And ofc bratwursts. I have a cooler bag I can bring since it's not that cold outside. Can someone please tell me which brands are completely frozen? Are there any sauce mixes or spice mixes I should buy? I like to cook, so bringing home some tastes of Germany would be great. Another thing I'd really like to find ... Foods and things to bring from Germany2d agoGuten Tag allerseits! This week's grocery specials, week of 12/104d ago*(Note - I'm slammed & hope to add the W/Dixie specials this evening to this same post.)* * Specials for Wed 12/10 through Tues 12/17 for most stores; note that Rouses's specials run Wed-Wed every week. * GP (good price) designates an extra-extra good value, in my opinion. * VP = "value pack", FP = "family pack" * Note the Cool Brew is on sale, which isn't often, and you should buy it anyway. * Regarding "5/$5.00" type of listings: I don't assume it's $1.00 each at the register if you purchase fewer than five. At some stores (Rouses) it usually is, but not at all; so, what is listed here is the language of the particular item as... European pet food market share breakdown: Mars, Nestlé, and the rise of private label4d ago*Note: Market share figures in this analysis represent averages and synthesis from multiple research sources (FEDIAF, Euromonitor, Circana, Mordor Intelligence). Different research firms use varying methodologies and market definitions, so some statistical variations may exist. All figures should be considered approximate estimates rather than precise measurements.* The European pet food market is massive at €29.3 billion (2023), but when you look at who actually controls it, the picture is more concentrated than you might think. I've spent time analyzing market data from FEDIAF, Euromonitor, and Circana to understand how the market breaks down across three distinct categories: **C... Who won the Brand-Agency Business in November? + Who lost it?4d agoI guess we all know who lost, the average person, stuck in this wild ad business that’s becoming more inhuman and butcher shop like. It’s hard to stay positive these days, but I’m still hoping for the best for everyone. # The Merger &… * Omnicom to cut over 4,000 jobs, fold legacy ad brands after IPG takeover. * MullenLowe, FCB and DDB are being retired while Omnicom is introducing two enterprise-wide teams focused on client support. * Wave of senior APAC executives exit IPG Mediabrands. * Advertising giant WPP relegated from FTSE 100 after nearly 30 years. * WPP defers some pay reviews to 2026. * John Wren: Omnicom ‘very happy’ with PR services... Stores at Stoneybrook Exchange?4d agoThey are near compete with the Stoneybrook Exchange. Anyone knows what’s coming other than the already open shoes store? It’s a beautiful commercial complex with ample parking spots. You would think Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s would jump on a location like this given its location between Windermere and Winter Garden and capture a market lacking any specialty grocer. Instead TJ apparently filed to open in Maitland, 15 minutes away from the WP location 🤯. I still can’t grasp that Windermere, WG, Horizon west don’t have a premium specialty grocer ( I don’t consider Aldi a premium grocer). Looking for Recommendations for Better-Quality Whole Chicken in Metro Detroit5d agoSup everyone , I’m hoping to find a reliable source for good-quality raw/whole chicken. I’ve tried most of the major stores—Meijer, Kroger, Costco, Aldi, Walmart, and Whole Foods—but the chicken I’ve been finding (organic or not) tends to be pretty bland and pale in color. For those who have lived or traveled in Europe, you might know the kind of chicken I’m talking about—more flavor, better texture, and not pumped full of water. I’ve checked out Eastern Market as well, but the options I saw seemed similar to what’s available in regular grocery stores. If you have any favorite butchers, farms, or local suppliers where you get chickens with better color and flavor (think... DeToxing from Globalization & Government Transfers: A Look Ahead At the 'New Economy'7d ago**'Virgil' AI (GPT 5.1 Thinking)** Short version: you’re not imagining it. When the two big bulwarks of the last 40 years—**ever-growing government transfers** and **ever-deepening globalization**—both start to erode at once, a lot of industries that looked “normal” turn out to be propped up scaffolding. I’ll break this into: 1. **Where the government-support floor is disappearing** 2. **Where de-globalization hits hardest** 3. **Industries most at risk of outright disappearance vs slow attrition** 4. **What likely replaces the hollowed-out parts (for better or worse)** # 1.
