Trader Joes Locations

I hadn’t written a single song to completion since becoming pregnant with my twins over 3 years ago, and since starting this project a little over a month ago, I’ve written 4 to completion with several more ideas brewing! I just posted one begging Trader Joe’s to establish a store location in my city, and it’s been so rewarding seeing everyone’s response to it! Just moved to Redwood City from the Midwest and I need to figure out the grocery scene here. I'm a person who follows a pretty typical Mediterranean Diet, but I LOVE pasta. In my mind, nothing beats a bowl of good pasta! And, because I believe in healthy moderation, I have no problems indulging in the "real stuff" (white flour, simple carbs) occasionally as a treat. Shirt’s uuuuup! Gooood stuuuuuff! Found this hard cider at Trader Joe’s, and it’s “apple pie” cider - so cinnamon and clove and nutmeg and what-not. It was REALLY good with the soda. We tried different ratios - 50/50 was very good, but at 60/40 soda/cider, it was primo; the taste of the cider still shined through, but it didn’t overshadow the soda. The cheap store-brand juice and “soft” cider we had were really sweet, and killed the bubbles. But man, that hard cider was baller. 10/10, no notes!

Been a crew member for about 6 months and came with some management and with union steward experience. So when I asked for mate training, it sparked a lot of drama within the store I work at especially with the person who is next in line. Hey guys I’ve been at Trader Joe’s for about 5 years now and it’s difficult to enjoy my work day these days. Favoritism, being hawkeyed by particular mates, and reduction in hours is making me really resent working here lately. Hey guys, Quick Question, for the ones who are active and go to the gym regularly. How do you maintain a clean/healthy diet while doing this lifestyle? I find myself eating out more and more, and I would like to keep the cost down. I do not own a cooler or a fridge. I find that my 2019 Hyundai Elantra is too compact for things like that. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I am 5'5 and weigh 135lbs. I am under-eating but maintain my weight. I would like to consume more protein. I know it sounds ridiculous but it's so true. I **** eating only frozen meals/food. I **** the awful choices at the local Walmart because I live in a ****** small town in the rural South. I **** the poor quality of the produce we get. I **** having to force myself to eat food I am so disenchanted by and uncomfortable with because it's all I have. I used a refrigerated Portland Pie Co. Neapolitan dough lump from the grocery store deli. Cooked in my kitchen oven, which is propane. Also includes sliced mozzarella from the deli, Trader Joe’s pizza sauce, and dried basil and oregano from last year’s garden. 😋

Trader Joes is the most affordable grocery close to me. They also seem to consistently have more issues in the locations closest to me for some reason. And I used to buy their bagged salads but when I open them, well within their best buy date, they either smell rotted or like bleach or disinfectant (sometimes with an underlying rotted smell underneath). I stopped buying any bagged refrigerated produce from them. Their frozen french fries have smelled of mold and dirt many times, and other frozen vegetables smell and taste like dirt. Some green beans I bought could be best described as smelling like chemicals, and my body felt queasy. I often rinse them thoroughly before cooking them, but...
