Periodically, as I get good candidates, I want to present the stories behind some really obscure indie books. Not to make fun, but because these books were the labors of love for their creators, who not only had ideas, and not only put pen to paper to make them real, but had them printed and stapled and offered out to the world. I've greatly reduced the number of figures I've purchased lately, mostly because I bought somebody at one time or in a short period of time. I'm kind of picky on what I want in my collection , I don't just want everything. But, that's been expanding. I've replaced some of the initial figures I bought with what I felt was a better version , some of them I haven't even replaced i've just put off to the side. I would like to start by apologizing for taking so long to get another post out. This past week has been very busy between working on finishing up our move, working full time, and taking care of our daughter. Being a kid from the 90s, I developed a love for transformers and back then the hasbro versions used to be available in toy stores but since then the toys stopped being sold over here, Can anyone suggest the best online platforms to get my hands on some or import them from nearby asian countries?

Hi, I ordered some Needohs from a whatnot seller I’ve bought from before. She has always sent my packages out on time with 100% authentic products. She told me she could get Needohs at wholesale cost since she is a “toy store” and has ordered from them already in years past, so I bought from her “online store” outside of whatnot. Wanted to show off a commission I made from a very talented friend and artist. Meet Jack, the toymaker. A young man in his thirties that never quite got over his childish nature, despite having to work a white-collar job. He used to love visiting his grandpa as gramps owned a quaint little toy store. Eventually however, Jack grew up and lost touch with him. Eventually, he received a letter, containing a will from his now deceased grandpa. Can anyone identify a kite that worked in extraordinarily low winds?  It was Swiss or German made, sold in a NY-NJ-PA area toy store, in the early 1980s.  A spinning round or hexagonal plastic wing, stiffened with light plastic rods, rotated on a fitting that attached to a simple stabilizing rod and a plastic panel, maybe triangular. Overall it was about 18” long. No tail, but it was very stable, even in light winds.  It was good for children because they could get it to lift by running on the calmest day, and with a little bit of wind it would climb to a decent height.  No good in strong wind.  I have not seen any kite like it for a long time, and I don’t remember the brand name of...

Hi, all. I currently live in the UK, but will be in Nashville this summer and my son and I have been looking forward to a specific pokemon product coming out, only to realize it's release date is while we're in Nashville. In the UK, all Pokémon stuff is hard to find, but when there's a new product we want, we know of a couple of mom and pop type shops that will get limited stock and we're usually able get a box. I'm not gonna have the time to camp at Best Buy or deal with scalper crowds at Target, Wal-Mart, etc, but if anyone has any "hidden gem" options like a comic store, card shop, or local toy store, I'd appreciate the help.
