Need a simple **** phone with google maps and voice to text

2h ago

Buddy and I were just playing with a TCL Flip 4 in the t-mobile store and it had everything I wanted except as far as we could tell there was no way to do voice to text over the messaging app. Any suggestions?

Questions about getting a new iPhone at Apple

7h ago

Need to upgrade from an iPhone 13 (paid in full) to an iPhone 17 (will pay in full). We are on Magenta Max 55+ and donʻt want to change that. We have always purchased our phones at Apple. If we buy an unlocked phone (no carrier specified) from Apple directly, I have the following questions: Can data be transferred from the old phone to the new one before the new one is added to our T-Mobile account? Once the new phone is set up can we easily add it to the account through T-Life or do we need to go to a T-Mobile store (which Iʻd like to avoid)? I know that we could also specify T-Mobile as the carrier during purchase but weʻll need to unlock the SIM of the old phone (which we can do) f...

Home internet activation/charge?

13h ago

I was having some major issues with my broadband home internet (cox communication) lately, so last week I went into the T-Mobile store and purchased a home internet kit. I paid the $10 or whatever the activation fee was in store. I have not opened/turned on the device yet because of course my home internet started working again. Has my monthly billing started yet, or will it start once I activate the device? I would like to keep this and have it as a backup, but If I am being charged from the day I got it, I’ll go ahead and hurry and get it setup and tested, but if I’m only going to start getting charged after I activate it, then I’ll wait until I have problem again.

Do I have to pay off my AT&T balance first with my own money

2d ago

I went to a T-Mobile store and the employees were confused. So is there a gap of no service between the switch from AT&T to T-Mobile? Can you guys tell me the step-by-step chronological order please?

Do I Need To Go To A T=Mobile Store To Cancel A T-Mobile For Business Line?

3d ago

I currently have two lines of service on T-Mobile For Business. I called Customer Support this morning, gave them the account information, including a PIN number. I was then told that I need to go to a T-Mobile store to verify. Is this new? I have done things in the past over the phone and have never had to go into a brick and mortar store.

T-Mobile killed our account!

3d ago

**UPDATE:** After taking the suggestion from "desterpot" to use the T-Mobile for business site I explained the problem. This person may have been corporate level...but she understood the problem and got IT/tech support on it. Within a few hours they knew they could give us back the phone number and this was accomplished this evening. Tech support said that the error occurred at the first T-mobile store where the associate had the acct open and was probably distracted or another associate used the computer with my brother's info up and opened a new acct on it. The phone number assigned at that time is not even familiar to us because even if they assigned it he didn&...

My Chat Experience

4d ago

Hi Guys, I wanted to detail my chat experience with TM last night and get your opinions. Let me preface this by saying that I understand what customer service/care folks deal with. I've been a sales manager for decades and we're only as good as the customer care folks who support us. I've been with T-Mobile/Sprint since 2003 and have 3 lines. I was looking to upgrade my S24U to the S26U, with a $160 balance remaining. I asked the CSR what he could do for me as I'm constantly being courted by other providers, although I have no desire to change what isn't broken. He told me about the healthy trade-in discount and how he could save me $ by moving us to a diffe...

T-Mobile Visa Card

8d ago

I went into my local T-Mobile store to pay off my Galaxy buds and finance some new Apple ear buds for my wife. The salesman a few times asked if I wanted to apply for the new T-Mobile Visa Card, I said I'll think about it, but I'm not going to. He said I can get $50 credit on my account and I'll get money back whenever I used it and I could use it to pay my monthly bill. I have way too many credit cards and bills to even think about that. My wife was thinking he might get bonus every time he has someone signs up or applys for one.

T-Mobile continued billing me for 6 months after I returned equipment and cancelled. Anyone else experience this?

9d ago

Back in October 2025 I switched from Xfinity to T-Mobile for two phone lines and a watch line at a T-Mobile Experience Store. After being charged significantly more than what was quoted to me, I found a better deal back at Xfinity for a third of the price. I ported my numbers out to Xfinity, went to a separate T-Mobile store to get my transfer PIN, returned all equipment on 10/30/25, and explicitly requested cancellation of all three lines. I have the equipment return receipt to prove it. Turns out T-Mobile never closed all my lines. I've been getting charged for 1 voice and 1 watch line for approximately 6 months. To make matters worse, I couldn't access my T-Mobile account onli...

Canceling tablet/line purchase

10d ago

Hi all, I went to a T-Mobile store yesterday and got talked into getting two Samsung tablets “for free”—basically just paying taxes and the lines. What they didn’t tell me was that the plan was only 2GB. I used one of the tablets for maybe 1–2 hours last night and already burned through all the data. The salesperson made it sound like everything was unlimited and all that, so I went along with it. I called T-Mobile support today to switch to an actual unlimited plan, but they said it would cost more. At this point, I just want a refund and to remove both tablet lines from my account. Support told me to go back to the store and handle it there. What’s the best way to go about thi...

Monthly Buy/Sell/Trade thread

10d ago

We have decided to implement a monthly thread in which users can buy, sell, and advertise--breaking rules #1 and #2--so as long as it is contained within this thread. Comments will be sorted by "new" by default. Use this thread to: \* List items OR services that you are attempting to sell. While not required, you are encouraged to list the price(s) you are requesting. \* Solicit items OR services you are in search of or in need of. Again, while not required, you are encouraged to list a price you're comfortable paying. \* Advertise anything and everything, so as long as it is still relevant to Lincoln--promote a concer...

Question about the return

10d ago

I got the return label. In the description, it says: "Ready to return the equipment listed below? Either stop by a participating T-Mobile store and drop it off there to complete your return or follow these three steps to ship your equipment to us." Is there a way to return it at a T-Mobile experience store?

Frequent connection drops starting this week?

11d ago

Since Monday at least, my TMHI connection has been dropping frequently, like every few seconds. I have had TMHI for a couple of years, and it has been mostly solid, but in the last few days I have been unable to use an SSH connection, and other things seem to be having issues. I work from home and use SSH to connect to our remote computing cluster and I can connect, but after just a few seconds I either get a "Closed by remote host" or "Connection reset by peer", and the connection is dropped. I've tried to do quite a bit of troubleshooting on my end, including: * Reboot Gateway (KVD21) * Reboot Router (Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 4 running OpenWRT) * Reboot Switch (Cisco...

Is it actually possible to get a number transfer pin?

11d ago

I am completely convinced that number transfer pins do not exist. Trying to transfer to T Mobile. T Mobile store guy told me to get my account number and my number transfer pin. I tried to do it then and there in the store, but couldn't access my account and got locked out due to ****** two-step verification ****. Later after leaving I reset my password and got into my account. It's borderline impossible to even find the words "number transfer pin" anywhere. But after asking the ATT chat bot, it gave me instructions to a nonexistent directory. Something along the lines of account profile > manage /remove account > settings > transfer number. There i...

Switching from AT&T - Sam’s or T-Mobile Store?

11d ago

I recognize this has been asked before, but the most recent thread I could find was 7 months ago and I know things can change quickly. My wife and I (2 lines total) are looking to switch from AT&T to T-Mobile and both upgrade our iPhones, which we have entirely paid off. We have a Sam’s Club membership so I’ve been trying to read up on if it would be a better deal to switch through Sam’s or through a T-mobile store. Any advice?

Shady Tmobile Credit Credit $50 bonus not offered at my signup for it 2 days on T-life but now shows up in T life app.

11d ago

I read her on Reddit that T-Mobile credit card was offering a $50 sign up bonus and would help a T-Mobile rep at a store if I signed up with one of them. I have family who work in the difficult roles of retail sales always having to worry about their numbers. I thought I help a retail sales rep sign me up for it so I called a T-Mobile store a couple miles away and the employee said there is no $50 promotion but can help me set up autopay so I declined and signed up and got approved for T-Mobile credit on t life app without $50 bonus. I logged onto t life app and now is offering a $50 bonus if I apply for T-Mobile credit card…which I obviously cannot because I got approved for one 2 days ...

No Pin, No Help

12d ago

I purchased a wifi backup system from T-Mobile last year (June 2025) and the store failed to provide a pin at the time. After months of trying to access my account, along with hours spent in a T-Mobile store, I canceled the account (this in itself required additional trips to a T-Mobile store). We were finally promised by the store personnel as well as the T-Mobile person they called (I talked with this person directly) there would be no balance due and everything would be closed. This was December 2025. Now I'm getting past due notices for amounts of the base monthly rate along with fees. I'm tired of their lack of ability to help and manage this issue. I've submitted a B...
