Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the The Home Depot Latest Community Discussions About The Home DepotWell this was interesting1h agolike one other redditor on here mentioned, in our state we have a thing called olcc, which is state ran, they own all but one liquor store in the state and this is the only place you can buy liquor. Well I was on a quest today and was delivering to a home Depot distribution warehouse when I get this call via Uber from a customer with a heavy African (Swahili is prolly his first language) accent asking when I am delivering his order, confused I asked if it was one of the very recent ones. it wasn't any of them, it was a pending order I accepted that I was going to do after drop off of the current order. So onto why I said what I said before about liquor, when I get done with said delive... Apparently I was observed closely by Loss Prevention, the moment I was about to walk past the exit door, loss prevention person showed up right away, presented the Loss Prevention badge and told me I had only paid for 1 item in the cart. I was scared and just ran, I took the 1 item that I paid for and got to my car quick and drove off. I believe Home Depot will press charge on me because they knew my intention to steal from the store + the $150 amount of good that hadn't been paid when I walked past the register, e... Any cheap gardening stores in the area?4h agoI love a good discount/clearance section. Home Depot has pretty good prices, but I'm super interested in herbs, fruits, and vegetables rather than flowers. As a former employee this still upsets me5h agoI have been gone from home Depot for over a year now. At the time I was D25 but basically a universal associate. I was certified to run any machine except the epj and the receiving reach truck( I don't remember what it was called). I knew how to run the carpet, wiring, and rope cutters in my store. The only things I didn't learn was the mill works and kitchen design applications. My wife at the time was D24 and had caught her foot in a paint pallet and fractured it. I had almost 3 years with the company, and couldn't get a raise or approval for overtime to finish my tasks after continuously running/ watching almost every other department. They wouldn't promote me up to su... Please help me fit this light cable in a 7/8 inch space!5h agoI bought an [under-shelf light](https://a.co/d/01p8Jwon) for my desk with a hutch but the cord end sticks out just a bit. Please see pic 2 for the type of pin. Is there like an 90-degree adapter or a soft connector? There is only a 7/8 inch gap of clearance and I can’t bend the cable end, how do I resolve this issue? I have tried to put it diagonally, but it doesn’t clear either. Also, I can’t hardwire it, I’m in a rental property. If there is something I can buy to fix it, please send an Amazon or hardware store (Ace Home Depot Lowe’s) link. Thanks so much! How to disable step tracking for Apple Health when Motion & Fitness is turned on6h agoThis is a weird bug that I’ve noticed recently. When I use the Hurdlr app, I have to enable Fitness and Motion. I use Fitbit to track my activity, steps, exercise, etc… so I’ve disabled Health from tracking steps. However, it’s still recording information. Is there another setting that needs to be turned off? When I turn off Motion & Fitness tracking it obviously stops tracking but then Hurdlr won’t work which is annoying since I’m not using auto-tracking. iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 26.3.1(a) Recommendations for affordable veggie & flower plants in Forsyth County (Winston-Salem area) – local spots pre...6h agoHello! I’m in the market for affordable vegetable seedlings/plants (tomatoes, peppers, herbs, etc.) and flower starts this spring. Looking to support independent nurseries, greenhouses, or farm stands in the Forsyth County / Winston-Salem area first. I’m willing to drive into Stokes County (King / Walnut Cove area) if the selection, quality, or prices are worth it. Avoiding Lowe’s/Home Depot unless they’re unbeatable on healthy plants + value right now. Bonus points for places with good herb selections, native/pollinator-friendly options, or knowledgeable staff. Any current favorites? Recent experiences with quality, pricing, or variety? Also open to farmers markets that have solid... Just to cap off a terrible week7h agoThe background context of this is that I've been wanting to quit smoking for like 6ish weeks and working to lose weight over the last 3ish. Let me walk you through the past week. Last weekend, I met up with my family for my birthday dinner. Seems fine, but I spent the 4 hours leading up to the dinner scrambling all over my city trying to find pieces to put together an outfit that I had in my head, only to get home (already running late) and find out that one of the pieces of it that I already owned didn't fit me right because I'm currently too fat for it. Also, I did this errand running in flip flops and gave myself blisters from speedwalking in these textured fucks. Then I d... History rhymes: Internet Retail and AI/SAAS9h agoThere is obviously a ton of talk right now about the danger Claude and other AI services pose to the SAAS sector. Like always the market is punishing the whole sector, when a more nuanced approach is appropriate. I am reminded of the transition of retail to internet. Many retails stocks were extremely out of favor (in many cases justifiably so) as Amazon started rapidly expand. While it was clear where the trend was going, many of the old retailers that embraced the transition, and had business models that were less “internet-able” have had spectacular performance. Some examples include Walmart, Costco, At Home before they were taken private, and Autozone. Lowe’s and Home Depot have a... M12 XC5.0 HO 2 pack on sale again.. $12010h agoLooks like HomeDepot having another xc5.0 battery sale. There might be clearance ones in the store for less, but these I guess are the new batch for $120 for 2... with new skus.... https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-12V-Lithium-Ion-XC-High-Output-5-Ah-Battery-2-Pack-48-11-2450S/326840029 Why’s Abby banned from a certain hardware store in FL?10h agoI heard it was Home Depot but does anyone know what happened? What the **** is happening in my market?????11h agoI walk into Walmart and it doesn't even feel like a store anymore. It feels like the parking lot of a ******* Home Depot. Everywhere I look, it's the same **** people, glued to their phones, scanning ****, pacing back and forth, looping the same aisles like they're herding cattle. And don't even get it twisted that person you think is just casually shopping? Nah. Look again. Phone in hand. Doing Spark. Every. Single. One. Of them. All speaking the same **** language, looking at me like I'm the one who doesn't belong. There are literally more of these drivers in the store in the morning than actual customers. That's insane. I'm not even trying to pay... So... who here is actively searching for New Jobs whilst working at Home Despot?11h agoI am getting a vibe, and it isn't a good. Firstly Home Depot was the only hardware store open on Easter (guess they saw 6pm close "last minute" versus 8pm originally planned). But since that debacle only days ago, we are now even more horrendously short staffed, and we do not anticipate getting any more help. So, gotta ask (as kind of a poll by comment): Who here is looking for new jobs while working at Home Depot? One peering into a Home Depot parking lot seems very deliberate12h agoNone of the other stores around like Walmart had one. Best source for replacement parts, specifically a power adapter?13h agoI'm restarting my gardens after a couple years off. I was super excited but realized I've lost or misplaced the power adapter for my Bounty Elite while I was moving. And the power adapters aren't universal, i.e. the power connector on the plug for the Harvest doesn't fit in the Bounty Elite. My main concern with buying it off Amazon is that I'm worried about getting some fake/scammy power adapter and then I ruin both my outlet and the garden. I contacted AeroGarden/Scotts and they don't have the replacement parts available for purchase, and they couldn't even find any information about the model or part number. I also couldn't find it on Home Depot... Mahalo to Associates who helped me in the Rain13h agoMy deepest thanks to an associate who helped me to get a cart full of tools to my car on a rainy Friday. The store was the Home Depot in Pearl City (Oahu, HI). This was the third Kona Low storm in the past several weeks, and the rain was swirling around in different directions. This old kūpuna is grateful the store had ample umbrellas (industrial strength ones!) to keep a Ridgid table dry as we navigated our way to my jalopy. HD stepping up their rose game14h agoWent to Home Depot this morning just to "browse". I've got say this particular Home Depot has stepped up its rose game the last few years. Last year I happened to find a Grande Dame and a couple other gems mixed in with the usual off-patent 1960s varities. This year they had more modern varieties than old ones including some that I've never seen in a big box store before... Twilight Zone, Fun in the Sun, Firefighter, Purple Splash, Time after Time (which was a 2025 introduction I think). Naturally, one of the Twilight Zones came home with me. Do you use Rebel Savings to find deals?14h agoSo I recently discovered Rebel Savings to help find deals near me. I'm wondering if anyone has experience actually getting the price that's shown on Rebel Savings. Has anyone had Home Depot price match a different store's deals, for example I found a USB speaker on Rebel Savings for $35 but I'm not going to drive 40miles one way for the deal, but if my local Home Depot would price match I'd totally buy 2 of them for $35 each.
