So, I was on one of the ERTs that went to Florida after Milton and this does not surprise me one bit. I've been on other ERTs and I've never experienced stores run as poorly as the one I did in Florida. Every other ERT I was on that store was so very grateful to have our help and they always made sure that we were well provided for with Waters and snacks and lunches while we were there. The store that we did in Florida were so comfortable and could have cared less. Getting them to order in a lunch for us so that we didn't have to go out and find food during our shifts with such a hassle that we finally just said forget about it. Does anyone else get the survey that asks, "Which of the following US store loyalty programs are you a member/card holder of?" and has Walmart, Lowe's, Target, Home Depot, and Sam's Club as the options? I get this survey MULTIPLE times EVERY DAY. And each time I'm not a fit for the program. Why won't they remove me from being a candidate when I've already answered it dozens of times?

So Home Depot has had something going on with housewrap where they basically had nothing in stock at my store for almost a month. They clearanced out their woven everbuilt junk and then got in more woven green stuff. Then some #15 felt paper showed up, and this week a bunch of rolls of this newer Pinkwrap Premium. It's like a lightweight fiberspun Typar with a rubbery coating on it (probably a micro perforated surface). Not sure it's strong enough to hold a lot of weight up but it won't rip as easy as Tyvek. Do all Home Depot stores in Canada have at least one designated Lumber Cashier? The store I work at does. And it is a Full Time position. Only one job position for the role. Other regular cashiers are trained for it and cover when necessary. I’m wondering if all the stores have this or if it’s mainly for the “grandfathered-in” so to speak employees that get Full Time job status…?

I don’t own any pets but every year around this time I get a pretty bad flea infestation. Guessing it’s the wild life random stray cats, raccoons etc from my neighborhood . Seems like everytime I go outside for something as simple as taking out the trash, a few fleas catch a ride and I bring them into my home and bite the **** out of me. Hi Everyone, I've just bought my first home, and got some gift cards for your usual big box home improvement stores. I got my DeWalt tools (drill, driver, saws, recip, etc) and plenty of batteries, but I need a better solution for storage for my small home. I've been looking at the ToughSystems, but I've seen some posts of add-ons not being compatible. I've also noticed that the TS systems have been on sale at Home Depot - are we expecting system 3.0 any time soon? Thoughts and suggestions welcomed!

So far in our kitchen remodel, I’ve only visited Home Depot and Lowe’s for countertops. We have 57sqft of countertop, 4 pieces. Sink and stovetop cutoit required. Looking at quartz in the \~$90/sqft range so far. Home Depot seems to be our preferred so far, haven’t looked at any local installers yet. Is there any price benefit to a local company vs home improvement store? Or any other benefits/drawbacks of using each. thanks!
