i ordered a fridge for my condo, i stood outside on the road and the truck literally swerved around me and marked the order as delivered. had to go through 3 different phone numbers to get to speak to the men driving the delivery truck and they were literally psycho. i was trying to be polite and understanding, maybe there was miscommunication on the address. they yelled into the phone that ‘i wasn’t home and they’ll turn around and see what they can do’ and never showed. i cant get a refund because its through ‘lowes delivery’ and customer service can’t help. i’m a 24 year old girl and my husband is on a bachelor party trip with his brothers and im nervous about the angry...

So I bought a few things from Home Depot this weekend and I entered an estimate of how much I thought it would cost to see the payments, but at checkout I backpaged and changed it to the actual amount and didn't pay attention to what store it said at top. It went through, but now in my active loans it just says Affirm for the merchant. Will they automatically fix it or will it cancel and they pull the whole amount out my bank account?

I just bought 2 40lbs bags of grass seed at Home Depot. Price in store would have been $146.82. I purchased them on DoorDash using my DD gift cards I bought at Costco (20% off), combo'ed with the Sapphire Credit for $123.68 (($164.60-$10 credit)x.8). Plus they were delivered within a half hour. Lowe's is even better than Home Depot since they have the same pricing on DoorDash.

poor dudes were on clearance at a local hardware store, honestly had no idea what would be inside or if they were viable. just that it had dormant plants. scrapped the soil/etc and just placed them in long fiber sphagnum at the correct depth, gave them a healthy dose of kinky and keeping wet with distilled water. usual business. they are growing in pretty well! not advocating for these at all, but for 2 bucks got a pitcher and VFT lol

Happy Sunday everyone. Got my new(to me) work van a month ago and tbh I’ve got a killer setup inside there. Can’t wait to show everyone when it’s finished… Anyways what are we using to secure it? Thunderbolt locks? Puck locks? Alarm system? Dashcam/interior cameras? While I’m home it’s in my garage which has cameras in there anyways. So I’m not exactly worried about security while it’s parked at home. I’m more concerned about the trips to Home Depot, the grocery store stops on the way home, or parked in a bad area while I’m working inside a building. Now obviously I’m not rolling in cash so let me know some decent budget options! Thank you!!

Have a super old dishwasher that’s broken that I want to replace. I’d normally do FB marketplace, but I want the old one hauled away. Costco hauls old ones away when they replace, but my friends have had bad experiences with their third-party delivery. I’ve been told they have 90-day returns though. Haven’t heard a lot of great things about Lowe’s and I think their return window is 48 hours. Didn’t see a lot of cheap options at BestBuy I’m between Home Depot and Costco right now or doing it myself since I know how to install one. I'd like to replace a few deck boards. I'm not trying to get fancy, but take the old boards, measure and replace them with a new equivalent. The size of one of these boards is 105.5cm x 14.5cm x 3cm thick. These were nailed on. I want to do 28 of these for starters. Questions are: Where should I buy the wood from? It seems Home Depot and Lowe's charge a lot and are good for small projects or desperate people. Lumber stores want a whole project plan. Located in northeast FL. We’re getting our first taste of spring now and I heard it’s time to out down pre-emergent weed killer. I’ve tried to research what to get, but all I see is a bunch of chemicals I’ve never heard of. What is the actual name of the stuff I should put down and where can I find this stuff at? I’ve been trying to find a right direction to where I should go for the right piece to get these two ends together. I tried looking at Home Depot and was not successful for finding an adapter. Maybe I’m going about this the wrong way or maybe I’m not looking at the right store. Here are basically the two ends I’m trying to connect. The white end is coming from the trailer plumbing which provides the water while the metal end pieces are coming from the upgrade faucet I’m hoping to install.

Just an FYI that bare roots at one of my Home Depots (Bay Area) were put on sale for 25% off for the Pan American (Windmill) brand. They first became available in early December (so two and a half months ago). It was only at one of my HD (I visited two other stores). Selection is definitely thinning down, although there's still let's say maybe one three-tiered shelves worth of plants. And I will say they did seem to get replenishments of some varieties over the past month (in addition to getting some additional varieties after the initial stock - which I wasn't expecting).

I went to my local home depot and the staff seemed very nice so I signed up for their $40 package to measure all my closet doors, with the $40 going back to the final cost. They wouldn't provide anything in writing.
