Quit on the spot last month after finally getting fed up with the place and seeing myself not going anywhere. Went into an air force recruiter, talked a bit, told him about the ****** management, running around and busting my *** for 7-8 hours non stop and constantly getting yelled at by stressed out supervisors and assistant managers to do stuff. He laughed and told me I am "bmt ready" and have nothing really to worry about. If I can survive a few years at a retail store with ****** management how difficult will bmt be?

I’m on ODSP and just started to make about $20–$50 a week from online surveys. It’s inconsistent and paid through PayPal or gift cards (grocery stores, amazon, winners, home depot) Do I need to report this as income? How does ODSP treat small online earnings like this, even if I cash out as gift cards.

I’m considering being a lube tech at a dealer or oil change place. At least one of the dealerships near me is starting pay at $18 an hour, not flat rate, and gives you a tool allowance as well as benefits. I have a ton of hand tools, would really only need an impact, bigger impact sockets for tires, and maybe a battery powered ratchet. I'm on my first attempt at growing herbs. I'll be transplanting them into pots outdoors soon but I'm having a hard time finding good info on soil. I know some people make their own soil. I've seen things that say any outdoor potting soil will do but then when I look at Home Depot's site they all have a pH that's lower than what's recommended for herbs. Tbh I think I've just over-researched everything and am at the point of analysis paralysis. Does anybody have any store-bought recommendations for outdoor potted herbs? Also...I think I'm supposed to mixing perlite with them?

I got this inspiration from a YouTube video but had to make my own measurements. I think this is about half the size as the guys example. Not that I need that big of an easel anyway. One big thing, I wish I paid closer attention to the pieces I was grabbing. The darker piece on the right is obviously warped. It doesn’t ruin the functionality, just aesthetically looks wonky. I am looking to build a pair of bookshelf speakers and I need help with where to start. I have a certification to a local makerspace to do the woodworking, so I am good on that, and I can do the design. What I need help with is knowing where to buy wood and how to get it home. I am looking for suggestions on what type of wood. I know MDF is ideal, but if there is another wood that is cheaper and still decent, I would do that. I am looking at MDF at the big box stores like home depot, but they seem to only sell 4x8' sheets, and I wouldn't be able to haul that large of a sheet around. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi all! I’m new to Hoyas and want to get more into it. I feel fairly comfortable with plants, though not an expert by any means, and have heard Hoyas can be easy enough/manageable. Based on your experience so far, where would you recommend buying Hoyas? Places like Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc or plant specific stores? I’m really hoping to start with linearis, unless a different route is recommended.
