Assalaamu ‘alaikum I live in the US. So I finally got a job. I’ve been working there for a few days but the work has haram aspects to it. It’s a clothing store that also sells home items and etc. Some clothing may be haram pictures and revealing clothing women wear. However since I’m a guy they have me doing the heavy stuff. I work in the back open boxes sometimes taking things to sales floor etc. Most of my co workers are female and I’m a male and I didn’t expect that. It is a fitnah but since it’s Ramadan my desire more under control. Also, there’s something I absolutely **** so much man. I applied for the Merchandising and Freight/Receiving positions at The Home Depot about a month ago. Before that, I called and they told me to apply online, which I did. I haven’t heard anything back yet. I also have full availability (open schedule), so I thought that might help, but still nothing. Should I call the store to follow up, or would it be better to go in person and ask about my application? This is my first time applying for a job, so I don’t want to do the wrong thing or seem annoying. If I go in person, how should I do it? Should I ask for a manager? What should I say? Any advice would really help. Thanks!

Where do you get Patio Furniture that does not ****? I am talking designer, thick, solid, buy it for life, type of stuff. Not literally BIFL-- 25 years would suffice! Price isn't even my first concern. I'd pay $5000 or $10,000 or *whatever* for the perfect set if it ACTUALLY EXISTED (reference photo!). I work for a company and we are trying to find about 6 boxes worth of Traffic master Glueless laminate flooring SKU 1000006641 Farmstead hickory but no store carries it and it seems to be discontinued from Home Depot, It needs to be this exact one, and we are willing to pay top dollar for it as well, will still be cheaper than redoing an entire floor.

Not looking to make things political as per usual, but I've been trying to be more conscious of who I give my money to, specifically hardware/tool stores. I don't want to spend money at places who give money to ICE, so I'm looking for a hardware store to spend my money at that isn't Home Depot or Lowe's. Anybody have a recommendation?

Hello. Need help. I noticed that there were a heavy drop on this right bottom bolt circled in yellow. I have replaced it with a gasket and washer on both sides inside and outside of tank but it doesn’t seem to be working. I have been having a **** of a time even looking for the right size thickness wise (mine seems to be thinner than all these places have). Hey all! I've been trying to find somewhere local that sells black walnut boards for woodworking, but have come up empty literally everywhere I've looked. In a last-ditch effort to avoid spending an absolute insane amount of money per board-foot at Home Depot (the only place I've been able to find any, albeit online-only), does anyone know of any local lumber yards, hardware stores, etc that sell dimensional black lumber?

We are about to start the adventure of doing a DIY renovation on our master bathroom shower. We’re ready to take this on and understand all the ins and outs BUT the biggest issue we want resolved is the flooring to be non-slip (like really non-slip you’re not ever worried you’re gonna bust your butt accidentally). We’re very interested in Flexstone - has anyone used the Flexstone pan base that can give us any feedback/opinion on the texture/slip resistance? We visited Lowe’s and Home Depot today, both sellers of Flexstone, but unfortunately neither carry any samples in store for us to put our hands on and check out for ourselves.

i ordered a fridge for my condo, i stood outside on the road and the truck literally swerved around me and marked the order as delivered. had to go through 3 different phone numbers to get to speak to the men driving the delivery truck and they were literally psycho. i was trying to be polite and understanding, maybe there was miscommunication on the address. they yelled into the phone that ‘i wasn’t home and they’ll turn around and see what they can do’ and never showed. i cant get a refund because its through ‘lowes delivery’ and customer service can’t help. i’m a 24 year old girl and my husband is on a bachelor party trip with his brothers and im nervous about the angry...

So I bought a few things from Home Depot this weekend and I entered an estimate of how much I thought it would cost to see the payments, but at checkout I backpaged and changed it to the actual amount and didn't pay attention to what store it said at top. It went through, but now in my active loans it just says Affirm for the merchant. Will they automatically fix it or will it cancel and they pull the whole amount out my bank account?

I just bought 2 40lbs bags of grass seed at Home Depot. Price in store would have been $146.82. I purchased them on DoorDash using my DD gift cards I bought at Costco (20% off), combo'ed with the Sapphire Credit for $123.68 (($164.60-$10 credit)x.8). Plus they were delivered within a half hour. Lowe's is even better than Home Depot since they have the same pricing on DoorDash.

poor dudes were on clearance at a local hardware store, honestly had no idea what would be inside or if they were viable. just that it had dormant plants. scrapped the soil/etc and just placed them in long fiber sphagnum at the correct depth, gave them a healthy dose of kinky and keeping wet with distilled water. usual business. they are growing in pretty well! not advocating for these at all, but for 2 bucks got a pitcher and VFT lol

Happy Sunday everyone. Got my new(to me) work van a month ago and tbh I’ve got a killer setup inside there. Can’t wait to show everyone when it’s finished… Anyways what are we using to secure it? Thunderbolt locks? Puck locks? Alarm system? Dashcam/interior cameras? While I’m home it’s in my garage which has cameras in there anyways. So I’m not exactly worried about security while it’s parked at home. I’m more concerned about the trips to Home Depot, the grocery store stops on the way home, or parked in a bad area while I’m working inside a building. Now obviously I’m not rolling in cash so let me know some decent budget options! Thank you!!

Have a super old dishwasher that’s broken that I want to replace. I’d normally do FB marketplace, but I want the old one hauled away. Costco hauls old ones away when they replace, but my friends have had bad experiences with their third-party delivery. I’ve been told they have 90-day returns though. Haven’t heard a lot of great things about Lowe’s and I think their return window is 48 hours. Didn’t see a lot of cheap options at BestBuy I’m between Home Depot and Costco right now or doing it myself since I know how to install one. Does anyone have any local recommendations or specific stores they think I should try? Thanks!
