I'm hoping the good people at this sub can give me advice about if it's worth it to buy a new baseboard heater or not. The room is is 28m²/300ft² & \~230cm/7.5ft high. Let me preface by saying we did a ton of research before bringing our first GSP home and I was well aware they are Velcro dogs. I was prepared for that and thought it would be fine since I work part time from home and I’m pretty much a homebody in general. Our almost 5 month old male GSP is wonderful. I live in LA county and I'm having a hard time finding sheets of balsa wood for making miniatures. I'm wondering if I'm just not looking in the right place. The only things I can find are pre-cut kits for making things like pinewood derby cars or dinosaurs at the usual art/craft stores like Michael's and Blick. (I'm avoiding Hobby Lobby where I can for my own reasons). The only other option of larger uncut sheets I've found are to buy it online from Home Depot or Lowe's and have it shipped to me. How am I supposed to shop for items and compare when I can only see 2 items at once.

Hi- We ordered two exterior doors and had them installed back in February. We ordered the doors and had Home Depot contractors install them- not Pros- but contractors that have a contract thru the Home Depot. I'll try to make this brief, but they did sloppy work. I immediately complained to the Home Depot the day following the install. We had a problem with one of the doors not closing correctly, the brick mold trim was cut too short and there was bad caulking. The Home Depot manager recommended that the installer come back and redo the work- I didn't want the previous installer as he had me look at his work and I noticed that the trim was short and he assured me it was correct...

I know that it’s not easy to have lumber or sheet goods cut down to specific sizes and Home Depot does a very shoddy job. Was talking to an engineer about this yesterday and he said look at who your master is. So I looked up tool company owners. Do reporting to stakeholders have anything to do with it? Does Milwaukee tools grenading internals and difficulty being repaired have anything to do with it? Wouldn’t these tool stores want the best FUEL RED MILWAUKEE POWER for their customers? I used to work at Home Depot and guys would always complain how their is no Milwaukee tools for rental. I always thought it was weird? Can anyone help?
