Doing a job this weekend I had to go get some concrete, as I’m going down the aisles I noticed there was no XGT at my Home Depot. As I go to the register this cute girl in orange mock and I asked her what was going on. She wasn’t too sure but she said if I wanted to buy any, there’s a shopping cart with whatever they have. I got a rotary hammer drill, sawzall and 2 batteries for $429. I highly suggest anyone looking to add to their line go to their local store. Check to see if there’s a display or not and if there isn’t go find a hourly employee, not a manager or anyone who gives a ****. See if there’s any you can buy display open box whatever as it’s gonna be half off.

After flushing my toilet makes a whistling sound. I am guessing it is the valve seal. I have a fluidmaster 300 not not sure which valve seal to get as I can't seem to find ones specifically for the 300 series. The most common ones seem to be for the 400 series. I am not sure if those are compatible with the 300s? My nearby stores are home depot, canadian tire, walmart and rona.

I have found the Gloucester Home Depot aisles have become so crowded with end cap and mid aisle merchandise that it is hard to navigate a cart through the store. Now they are stacking propane cylinders and pesticides together at child level. Anyone else concerned ?

Long story short is I got greedy trying to dirty multi app with Roadie and the way the Roadie app works is that you can stack multiple deliveries from different stores and they just kept giving me offers after I picked up this one up. I thought this morning I'd for sure be deactivated but it hasn't happened yet.

I need to install a washer drain pan for peace of mind. I know it's like 1/400000 that a washer ever fails in that manner, but I can't sleep at night knowing there is still a chance. Anyways, short of changing a faucet, p-trap under a sink, or a toilet, I know nothing about plumbing. The closest store that has parts that I need is a Home Depot and it's about an hour away. Hi! So I've been in the process of attempting to level my concrete subfloor. I tried to just flatten it to begin with because that’s all my LVP flooring will need but I just wasn’t successful with that - I think it has to partially do with how sloped the subfloor is - so I’m pivoting and now going to level the area. Unfortunately because of the slope of subfloor, I will likely need to use almost upwards of 1” filling in like half of a 12x15ft room. That would be a lot of self-leveller bags needed. New power tool buyer here, the only power tool I have is Dewalt drill with 2 batteries and charger. Here's my solution, on the cheap and easy. Home Depot sells 120inch long galvanized base tracks. Can make six (6) of these panels 43.75" x 16". Each panel will take two insulation batts (double thickness). There are 12 batts in a safe & sound package. Total coverage about 32sqft. Total cost without fabric to make six is about $160usd using the whole package. The more you make, the cheaper it is. My SO collects used fabric, so the felt was free to me. So final cost will depend how high-end fabric you go, or use an old bedsheet. Hit the used clothing store for fabric.
