Advice on Drain Auger? Cordless or Corded, Size, Brand?3h agoI am thinking of buying a **powered drain auger (snake).** It will be used to clear drains at our small commercial building (cafe/bookstore and office, under renovation), my house, and no doubt various friends' houses. As usual I am asking for your help in tool-geeking and practical **advice**. I have the typical DIYer's rusty kinked hand snakes (toilet snake, and a longer one with a drum and crank) that only get used every few years at home and involve (for me) a long period of cursing and uselessly cranking a doubled-over snake. I once tried a snake that attaches to a drill, but threw it away. We have multiple toilets at home so declaring one as no-go for a day is tolerabl... Who actually takes these Home Depot orders?4h agoMost that come across my screen are for 1-5 items and doesn't tell you what,. But this one was ridiculous for the amount and quantity. Moving and packing4h agoHi, we are moving from the Northeast down to the Carolinas, so it's a pretty big move. I heard sometimes people ask big stores like Costco, home Depot, etc for their empty boxes but has anyone here ever done that? Also any pro moving tips that you wish you knew before your big moves would be so appreciated! Thanks :) What’s cheap and can be used as sort of a shim to slightly raise something? Roughly 1’x2’4h agoI need to raise something by about 1/8” to 3/16”. I initially just used a piece of cardboard, but it compressed so it’s not level anymore. I know you can get thin wood sheets, but they were expensive when I went to Home Depot, more than large plywood in some cases. The item is a bit over 1’x2’. Any material is fine with me as long as it’s rigid and won’t compress. I just couldn’t find anything cheap last time I was at the store. License plate readers now at Home Depot, Lowe's Home Improvement stores4h agoGarage X Navimow for X4 (EU)10h agoHi everyone, I've been trying to find the original **Garage X Navimow for X4** (EAN: 8721264221209) and it seems to be completely unavailable anywhere in the EU. https://preview.redd.it/8up7vu45wozg1.png?width=500&format=png&auto=webp&s=b10456c3ae1289b4e808a60c06bfed3acd2915e8 The accessory is not listed on the Segway Navimow EU. Meanwhile, it's readily available in the US through Amazon, Home Depot, Acme Tools, and the US Navimow store - no problem at all. I've checked multiple European retailers and online shops with no luck. Only HORNBACH Switzerland has but no option for shipping to EU countries. Does anybody know why this is the case? Is it a ... Why are all reviews so terrible?12h agoI am currently looking for apartments around Vinings, Smyrna, Cumberland/Galleria, or Dunwoody (which was my preferred location). Basically...anything within a reasonable driving distance/commute to the The Home Depot Store Support Center. A little back story - I recently took a trip on my own to tour a few places in which I walked around the complex, and everything in Dunwoody seemed really nice from the outside. The last place I stopped by was a complex called The Hartley, and initially after touring I was sold. Everything seemed perfect. Long story short, I do some research back home and find that it appears to be one of the worst places to live ever. All the positive reviews are peopl... Dog Friendly Places19h agoMe and my fiancée have a puppy that we like to take places as often as possible for socialization. Aside from the normal responses like Home Depot, Homegoods, Pet store, etc are there any other places anyone would recommend? Outdoor areas, restaurants, bars - anything that would be dog friendly! We’ve been to celebration park and ankrolab, as well as the Cambier park downtown so far. Reseller Justice Props to HF for listening to us20h agoThey finally implemented 1 per customer which is the way it should have always been At my store there was a guy who I know is a reseller (seen him post on Facebook marketplace Harbor Freight and Home Depot including sea foam that was like $1.70 and he’s trying to sell for $10 ) he tried to buy ALL of the 1/2 impacts there were three So satisfying to see him get told the new policy and basically SORRY CARLOS He begged and pleaded but the manager stood the ground when the cashier came over An old man came in after and was able to get it Justice Looking for Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) succulent to buy for Mothers Day22h agoAnyone know where I can find a Desert Rose succulent in the area? All the nurseries I called said they don't have it in stock, but I found a few posts on the Internet mentioning local Home Depot / Lowes stores carry them. I ordered one online a while back but then ended up cancelling my order so I'm hoping to find one in time for mothers day. Any ideas? How do you like taking Home Depot pickup orders?1d agoNot shop and pay. What is it like picking up Home Depot orders? Are they massive items where they won’t fit in my car or does it depend? And does the total raise after complete? Some retails stores that are pickup usually have the exact amount hidden I was wondering if Home Depot does the same. Was previewing an order only to see this, anyone else seen this before?1d agoIt was an order for a Home Depot.. what would you even do at this point when you actually arrive at the store? Question.1d agoHey guys, I recently left THD in February for a what I thought was a better job opportunity. But was recently fired last week (nothing crazy just typical warehouse business) I put in my two weeks finished out my time they even threw a little potluck for me and all. My question is how hard is Home Depot on the 6 months to year policy? Just moved into a new spot as well and really need a job I **** a decent reputation at my old store and are still good friends with some of the sups, although thats not important at all. I realized I may have completely f’d myself. 2% Back on Truss Cards1d agoBuilt for the trades. Pays you back for showing up. 2% back on every swipe. Now live on Truss Cards. Just trying to find if someone went through the same and how they coped.1d agoI was raised SUPER conservative Adventist. My parents joined before I was born and when I was about 2 they left mainstream adventism and started following groups like Empowered Living and Restoration International. We attended the camp meetings every year. We went to a regular Adventist church but were homeschooled and not allowed to hang out or attend anything the church put on. We lived out in the middle of nowhere. My parents were Ellen White fanatics. My mom worshipped that awful woman. We were vegan, had a garden, etc. they tried to live as close to what was taught at camp meetings as possible. Here is where I struggle really bad. Punishment and discipline. It started out not too bad. T... HomeDepot Vs Lowes1d agoHonestly just curious because I applied for both Lowes and HomeDepot when I graduated high school, and Lowes got back to me first, and I've been wondering if it would've been better, worse, or the same if I accept HomeDepot. So, here's my experience at Lowes so far from working there for 8-9 months: I started working last year, in September, so it's been roughly 8-9 months since I first started, and I'm a part-time cashier. It was really good for the first couple of days, the lady that trained me was likeable, and customers would come into the store just to greet her, even my co-workers loved and praised her. She was kind of a celebrity in a way. My best time was ...
