The drift sleeves are 40+ bucks apiece! And they are a consumable. Does anyone have any other good ways of getting drift sleeves for cheaper? Please no generic bs like “home depot buckets”

About 3 years ago I had an issue with a manager at work where he was trying to tell me I wasn’t doing my job, etc. That was his last day at that store, and I genuinely think he was either in a bad mood, or realized there would be no consequences to treating me badly. Hi everyone, I’m in a bit of a spot. I got my son an ATK Blazing Sky U2 Plus for Christmas, but the shell was damaged while he was carrying it to school. I have already emailed ATK support and they said that warranty does not cover and that they do not sell replacement parts for a cheaper cost The Issue: • The shell appears cracked/stressed. • The left click button is sitting noticeably higher than the right one. • It now makes a squeaking sound when pressed. • It requires much more force to click down than it used to. Hello. New to this community. Love what the people on this subreddit are doing. I make DIY plans. Here is a recent creation. I would like your critique. The idea behind the design. I noticed a lot of plans make the stairs part difficult. Sometimes leaving the safety railing off completely. What if the person using it gets confused at night. Total lumber cost is roughly $300. I have been unemployed for 3 years. I applied for cashier, and they had option saturday & suday. i put that in since im full time post secondary student. i called the store & the hiring manager will be in tomorrow morning. i will call again and ask for follow up. is there any tips i could also say to hiring manager to get the job? thanks

Pic on the left is where I started, pic on the right is current status. I ripped out the old wood backing with the TV cutout. It was basically paper-thin plywood. There are little grooves where it used to be that a new piece of wood would slide into, but I’ve been unable to find an exact replacement. I found this tempered hardboard at Home Depot (1/8”) and even that’s too thick, but I should be able to make it work. It is smooth on one side, textured (almost feels like fabric) on the other. My daughter is crazy for plants and needs pots. She is a teen so the look is everything. We went to Target, goodwill and big lots and were disappointed. Can you recommend stores that have a big selection besides Home Depot. We are going shopping this weekend and also stopping at Foxglove plant bar. I’d love to find some deals but we will also be supporting our local plant bar. finally finished my mostly traditional Finnish sauna. my parents bought a barrel sauna a year or so ago and my wife took a shine to it this year so I decided to build her one for a Christmas present. Started middle of October, got a guy to frame out an 8x12 shed package for me but the rest was all me. had it functional by Christmas eve but took till now to get all the trim etc. done. sauna room is 89x87 and 92 tall. top bench is 42 from ceiling, foot bench is 17 below that. heater is 31.5 tall so feet are officially above stones. top bench is 26 wide to the nose board and bottom bench is 18. bench tops are removable and the slat faces are mounted on magnets so i can store kindling and such...

Temps dropped in January & realized why my living room was always so cold. The top of the window has a big gap between window frame & wood beam (that was intended for window rod installation but I don’t use it). I try to boycott where I can, but I’m starting to think it would be easier to have a list of chains I CAN shop without guilt. Turns out these old shutoff valves for my washing machine have gone bad, the inside has rusted and fallen apart to where they don’t work anymore. None of the stores around me carry this specific valve with the short 1/2” section though. I’ve tried Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace, even the small local hardware store. I can only find them with 2” long threads. It would technically work, but I’d like to try and find a matching replacement. Are these just obsolete or a speciality item?

My spouse and I are renovating our house and we've hit a snag with the master bath; we want a console-style vanity base with a few drawers and a couple/few doors at 72"-84" in a stain/color that will match the wood floors in the rest of the house. We found the right color at Home Depot (Weathered Tan) but the wrong depth (we need 21" minimum for our vessel sinks). We found the right color and layout with Kraftmaid but the cost is \~$5000. I've searched the entire internet, we've been to all the stores within an hour drive (box stores and smaller stores), and we're entirely lost. Any recommendations? :(
