Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the The Home Depot Latest Community Discussions About The Home DepotFebuary Update 🌱🍓🫐🌿🍅6h agoWell 2026 has been an interesting year so far. This really just feels like I'm writing a rant but its an honest progress report. **Pics 1 through 3** Strawberries! Few more weeks until my seascape and albion strawberries finish ripening their first fruits ever! I replanted new berries in August 2025 and then had a tradgic salt build up in the cococoir. My drip irrigation has been needing an upgrade which it finally got, and I also improved drainage by installing a 1/4" MIB connector to drainage line (pic 6). There are two sites that are still very young and one empty. So for now keeping EC around .9 since humidity is barely holding to 40% nowadays. I also figure it's good s... We apparently almost killed someone with our “toxins”6h agoNote that PACKOUT Buy More Save More did expire yesterday at Home Depot as expected7h agoThe three drawer box is still on sale for $159 and the rolling tool chest for $199, but Buy More Save More pricing expired February 1 as the in-store signage stated it would. Had an incident involving compromised Home Depot gift cards. Left frustrated. Please give me some input.9h agoI went to my local CVS store to buy some Home Depot gift cards to give as a gift to somebody, and to use up some of these MyPrepaidCenter rewards cards, which were all attached to my Google wallet. I grab 2 $500 gift cards, take them to cashier, they scan it, activate it. I use google wallet and scan my 5 MyPrepaidCenter cards. After which, the cashier tells me "there's an error on the 2nd gift card, I think it's compromised." So here, I assume that the transaction must be cancelled, I'll grab some new gift cards on the shelf that hopefully don't have the same problem, and we retry a new transaction and everything will be smooth. This does not happen. A manag... old kitchen cabinet hinge14h agoOur kitchen cabinet is about 24 years old. Several hinges shows sign of age and some are broken. I went to Home Depot and RONA to find replacements. But I realized our hinges are slightly shorter by about 10mm than the items in the store. See this linked image: [https://imgur.com/a/WxIm3O5](https://imgur.com/a/WxIm3O5) I also search Amazon, but not many of them have details dimensions. I am not able to find the replacements yet. Any suggestion? Where can I find a replacement hinges? Thank you. Finding parts for a GE Dryer15h agoI recently came across one of those stacked GE washer-dryer units. It was my first time using one, so I didn't realized it until after the test run that the unit was missing a lint filter and filter cover (on the door). I have searched Home Depot, Canadian Tire, and a couple of Walmarts but no luck so far. If anyone could point me to a local store, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! Model : GUD24ESMM1WW Bathroom Remodel Dream Turned Into Nightmare16h agoMASTER BATHROOM NIGHTMARE My husband & I waited 28 years to remodel our Master Bathroom in our home. Cintex Enterprises turned our dream into a nightmare. Vincent appeared very knowledgeable and has a great website & reviews. Cindy is amazing at helping pick out materials & fixtures that coordinate. We were verbally told that an electrician & plumber would be consulted by Cintex. Cintex/Vincent and his helper did a good but incomplete demolition job. A whole view picture shows an amazing dream bathroom. The closeup pictures show frightful workmanship & future costs will be an ongoing nightmare. Cintex did say he would do the punch list & rep... Where is the ice melt?18h agoLooked at Lowes, Home Depots, Walmarts, job lots, and even grocery stores. I know the entire east coast has been iced out for like 2 weeks, but it seems every where is out. Any info from retail workers or others that have seen any out in the wild? Where to buy an indoor tree19h agoAre there any garden centers or stores that might have a 5-6 foot rubber tree? It was pretty much just palms at Home Depot and lowes. Looking for something more vertical for a corner. Thank you! Anyone know where to rent a good carpet cleaner in Williamsburg? (Pet mess 😭)19h agoTitle basically says it all. My dog just had a massive accident on my only nice rug and I’m panicking. I’m in 11211 and really don't want to trek out to a Home Depot or a big box store if I don't have to. Plus, I live in a walk-up, so I’m looking for something that isn't a total nightmare to carry. Does anyone know a local spot that rents out professional-grade cleaners? Ideally something pet-safe because I don't want my apartment smelling like industrial chemicals. Thanks in advance! Anyone know where to rent a good carpet cleaner in Williamsburg? Also do you research prices from online stores before getting them in the inventory. Aluminum roof rakes for ice dam formation - where to find one?21h agodoes anybody know of anywhere that has all aluminum roof rakes in stock? every ace/home depot/lowes website shows none until you get towards syracuse.... i'm sure the plastic ones are fine, but there are a ton of hardware stores that don't always have online inventory i was curious if they had any... Replacing Supply Registers21h agoOur house was built in the 50s and had old supply registers. I want to install new ones, however the old covers are bigger than what they sell in stores. The old ones are about 15” wide and 6” tall, whereas the newer ones you can buy at Home Depot are 13.75” x 5.75”. I have 9 to replace, so I’d love to find some type of surround or option that doesn’t require patching the plaster and painting (if possible). Does anything like that exist or does anyone have experience making it looks nicer after replacing the older covers? Thanks! Just joined up...got an old grill with a broken handle and have questions on repair22h agoSo I have this old Brinkman grill (Home Depot cheap grill from long ago) and the handle broke off. It was originally mounted on two support tubes which were just cheaply tack welded to the handle and the grill lid. Thankfully the lid was already drilled perfectly for two 3/8" bolts. I picked up two all thread grade 5 bolts and two fender washers from the hardware store, inserted two Nutserts into the handle, cut the bolts to length and screwed the handle right back on. So my question is, since I didn't want to use thread locker to make future fixes easier, should I also use an external or internal serrated lock washer. I doubt using a spring type would be good due to the heat. ... Any ideas how I can find out? Google says north American which doesn't help Best place to buy gas masks and filters in PDX?23h agoGreetings friends! No this post isn't a joke. Seems that for Round 2 post BLM the fed forces are going heavy on lachrymating harassment agents in our fair city. Can anyone recommend local stores that would sell a gas mask and filter that works well and won't break the bank? I checked Harbor- no bueno. Thanks! Edit: A lot of great recommendations here. Stay away from Home Depot, anyplace that has rep for welcoming ICE in. Another good point made here: Buy in cash, buy local. Wear a surgical mask on purchase. Feds likely are monitoring stores selling necessary supplies. Cutting XPS in-store1d agoMy Home Depot wouldn't rip 2" XPS so I could fit it in my minivan, I tried the serrated hand saw. It got the job done, but felt slow and a rough cut. Does anyone have recommendations of something I could use inside the store? (Ie not a circular saw) Thanks. ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
