I posted here earlier today. I wanted to thank you all for your responses regarding a whole home surge protector for a new robotic mower I purchased that will arrive on Wednesday. I think a little differently than most as a recent Air Force retiree. As a former pilot, I plan everything out in my mind kind of like I'm chair flying in training. 1. I will place the mowers power supply into a SockitBox that's weatherproof. Although the power supply is IP67 rated, I'm not taking any chances. 2. For plant cruelty! I found this poor babe (thank goodness I did!) inside the Garden Center UNDER a table! In near total darkness, and with about 3" of nasty water in her cache pot. I was talking to one of my co workers about a previous associate and long story short. They could got terminated from attendance but I heard it was a back and forth type of thing. Like it was a first write up ( or first discipline action) because they hit the first 4 marks of attendance and yet again it was like a week after what ever time frame they got the first write up they were claim to get another one (I believe another write up or an action )because they once again got to four mark of attendance ( for more clarification the time frame is like they have all of the occurrence wipe I believe but it got back up again if I even making sense) yet one of their attendance occurrence was going...

We stained the fence according to the instructions at our local paint store but the knots seem to really bleed through. Is there anything that I can do to remedy this after the fact ? We used Olympus semi transparent stain from Home Depot Water based because we live in IL.

I’m sure all of you don’t buy from big box stores, and those that do repot immediately anyway… lol. But for low brow folks like me that only have a Home Depot nearby, and usually leave the orchids I buy in their medium.. please if you buy one and it is in one of the pictured pots, take it out and put it in anything else. It keeps the roots SOAKED. And the orchids I’ve gotten that I didn’t take immediately out of that pot just… rapidly declined.

Hi everyone, We're continuing with our build of our outdoor kitchen. We're now at the stage where we need to think about what we use as a reasonably priced decorative finish on the outdoor ceiling. We are currently building a free standing concrete block structure with flat roof attached to our pool deck. So the ceiling will be fairly sheltered. Hot tub service tech here. Every hot tub sold at Costco, Sams, Wayfarer, Home Depot etc does not use a fiberglass backed shell. What this means is the shell will flex and that can lead to cracking or most common extremely expensive repairs. These tubs are temporary, so not only are they not going to perform like youd want but they are not going to last. I'm still new to houseplants so sorry if this is a silly question, but I've always been under the impression that the pots you see at Home Depot, Lowe's, your local grocery store, etc. are cheap and not ideal for houseplants long term. Are you supposed to immediately repot them into a suitable pot or can they live in their original pot for a few months/years? The reason I ask recently bought a monstera at Trader Joe's and it's been growing pretty nicely but it's still in its original pot. Same goes with a snake plant and zenzi I have too.
