looking for affordable quality kitchen cabinets in NYC. (cheap) for smallish apartment kitchen. We are going to self install but need help with design/layout. our options so far are IKEA, Home Depot, we went to Flushing too - but so many stores-not which one to use. please don’t say “go to local cabinet maker“ because I don’t think they are cheaper here in nyc & we will install ourselves! ready for suggestions😊

I have no idea what I’m doing lol basically I’m using this linkage setup to create a pivot point for something but I don’t understand what hardware I need for this setup. Stores near me didn’t have shoulder bolts so I just got these hex bolts from Home Depot that have a smooth shank. I also got nylon lock nuts and washers. But what hardware do I need for this setup so it can move freely but also so the links don’t slide back and forth. I want to be able to do this without bearings too if possible. What do I need and how is it set up and is there any local places that carry what I need.

Last year, I purchased my first two grow lights for starting my seeds indoors in a gifted grow tent, and I had gone to Canadian Tire after comparing there with Home Depot and the local Feed & Seed store. Are there any local stores that sell kitchen organizing stuff? Like shelf dividers, containers, the shelves you can put spices on in cabinets, that kind of thing? Does anyone have access to their employment agreement for an hourly store associate? I don’t have it in my email and am unsure where to find it. Over 20 years ago, as a young apprentice, I walked into a hardware store and spent the (astronomical at the time) sum of $130 CAD +tax on a set of Canadian made Kuny bags and suspenders. This pouch was a total game changer in terms of comfort and functionality, and it has stood the test of time. I've looked at the Gen I SURGE before and I like the fact that it has a self-tapper mode and that if your local Home Depot has any Gen Is left in stock, they're on clearance right now for $100. However, a different store near me is having a sale on all tools next week and I will be able to pick up a Gen II SURGE with a free XC 5.0 battery for $169, so they're effectively the same price.
