I’ve recently moved to a trailer but it does not have a washing machine so I was thinking of buying one of these since it will be just for one person and I don’t really want to buy them online. The laundromat is really far from where I live so I was hoping to just using one of these.

Serious question for those of you working in stores. Do you think Home Depot would make more or less money if its stores were adequately staffed? I’m curious what people think. On one hand, labor costs would be higher, but on the other hand, customers might get more help, projects might get completed faster, and fewer sales might walk out the door. Based on what you see day to day, would better staffing increase sales enough to offset the payroll cost? What are you seeing in your store?

I just closed on a townhouse and the awful living room carpet has to go. The contractor came over for the initial consult for installing it gave me prices assuming I was going with LVP. I said no, I wanted hardwood. The rest of the downstairs already has nice hardwood except, for some reason, the living room, which still has the 1975 carpet. The contractor says he installs floors everyday and he hasn’t had a customer opt for hardwood over LVP in about a year. He said Lowe’s and Home Depot don’t even carry it anymore because no one will buy it, I’ll have to go to a specialty store. I was surprised. It's going on a metal roof with that baked on urethane coating like you get from any roofing store. It's very similar to the green sheets you get at Lowes/ Home Depot just longer sections. Still in good shape, no rust. He also said don't use DTM (Direct to Metal) paint because it's being recoated. A young guy in Sherwin Williams recommends Sher-Cryl and I think it was expensive. He said I wouldn't need a primer (Pro-Cryl) because I already had a painted coating on it. Another young guy at another Sherwin Williams recommends Bond Plex and can sell it to me for $65/ gallon. I’m trying to decide which one I should let go of at the moment. Im trying to maintain both; however, both stores require a weekend day. I could changed around my availability for Home Depot and wayfair, but THD has there schedule set for the next 3 weeks, so i/someone still has to work those shifts that I left for the next 3 weeks (even the weekends) even i decide to do only one weekend day a week. I called out once, and I don’t want to risk doing it again. As far as the money and time factor, Home Depot offers me $15/per hour. I am trying to get 1/2in female to go onto 4 way threads to 1/2in for soldering not for pex. found some at home Depot but they only go on 1/3 way and stop and I don't want to force it. do they not sell those at a box store or do I need to actually force it for it to go on. online they don't specify if they are nft connecting threads. please look at both pictures.

Hi all\~ I live in Brooklyn and I just adopted my first puppy. She's a German Shepherd, and she'll be coming home with me in a few weeks (she'll be about 8.5 weeks old). I know that socialization is incredibly important, especially in those first few weeks that they come home. My apartment came with a gas stove and no vent hood, finally got an induction cooktop so don't need the stove anymore but would love to cover it up with a wood butcher block to get more counter space. Worst case I go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy a butcher block slab, but if I can get a better deal on a small / scrap piece (24" x 48") elsewhere or support a local business I'd prefer to do that. TL;DR: Home Depot handled measurements and design, but missed a IMPORTANT measurement (basement door swing), making the layout unusable. Fixing it required changing cabinets and undoing finished work (including moving a window), causing added costs and a \~3 week delay—now trying to reach a fair resolution. Worked with Home Depot on a kitchen project where they handled measurements and design, and we ordered cabinets based on their layout. They did try to upsell us on their installation services, but we didn’t consider it after seeing the labor quote—we already had a trusted contractor we’ve worked with for years. So a few guys at my shop have the Milwaukee extended anvil cordless guns. The chain gun handle style. I've seen a few of the 1 inch pistol style ones on marketplace near me for great prices. Is that smaller pistol style gun going to handle a whole truck and trailer full of lugs as good as the extended anvil one?
