So for the last 6 months, all HD huge gigs in my area have been capped at $25-30. Yesterday they roll out these new afternoon blocks (2-10pm) for $175. I sign up with my SUV. Show up. Get a route but don't start on time – removed. Then I see leftover routes still up. Apply. Get matched. Get the usual "we found you a gig" notification. Some tips for the new folks: \- If you're going to actually take mulch/soil orders, keep plastic bags/trash bags in your car to put down. \- Get/use a pair of gloves for "disgusting work", not expensive and not something you're going to be upset with throwing away. I have over 3,000 deliveries and most of the time I have been solidly at platinum. With the new standards I am not at the lowest level of silver. I have 21 orders out of a 100 that I was "late" on. 12 of those orders were five minutes or less "late." If I get a single red light, it makes me late. Five of the late orders were because the store made me wait an excessive time, so the pickup was late even though I was at the store well before the pickup time. Very new to houseplants, and I’ve had this peace lily from Home Depot for about two months. It’s the first plant I’ve managed to not kill in that time, and it even decided to flower which has me extra stoked.
