I went out wearing a mini skirt in public - as a man.

6h ago

So I’ve kinda cross dressed for a while but always in private or if in public then with a wig and usually in the winter so I can wear a jacket and hood. But I decided to get a short mini skirt and one that was a bit longer. I wore the mid length skirt to my eye doctors appointment where I had to do several tests and wait in the waiting room between tests. It was kinda scary but I absolutely enjoyed it. The next day I went to Home Depot in the short denim mini skirt got the supplies I needed and checked out. Went to the grocery store next and got some more things. Had a couple of skirts to return that I didn’t Iike the fit so I returned them, went to the convenience store and got a foun...

54 inch tub surround options?

6h ago

Hi all, I am renovating a bathroom where the tub is being put on an outside wall that originally had a window. I had originally planned on using a glue up surround and cutting it around the window then trimming it, but I ended up having to shift the tub the opposite direction I had originally planned and the window was just too close to the corner for that to be an option. I debated tiling, but finally just said F it and took the window out. I could still go with a glue up, I know that is an option and I have a glue up in one of my bathrooms and it's been fine but a lot of people **** them and I was wondering if there are any options I'm missing besides glue up, tile, or direct ...

Corporate

7h ago

Hi I just recently graduated with a bachelors degree and was wondering if anyone has any tips from going from store side to corporate. I’ve been working for Home Depot for almost 4 years now. Trying to get into an IT role but don’t have any experience. Do I actually have a chance to get a corporate job since I’ve been with the store for a while or will it not make a difference? Any insight would be greatly appreciated or if you have a similar story as mine.

Question for anyone who uses Amish lumber

10h ago

So, my wife and I are currently building a house, and we've gone to several different lumber yards, as well as a local Home Depot, and can't find anywhere that really has high quality wood. Nearly all the wood I've looked at has been bowed. I've heard that our local Amish sawmills tend to have better lumber, but I wanted to get a few more opinions about it. I know the Amish lumber is probably all rough sawn as opposed to dimensional, but otherwise, has their lumber generally been straighter than what you'd get from lumber yards or home improvement stores?

What is this called?

10h ago

Hey everyone! I’m looking to replace this piece that my grandfather used to connect the hose and water the lawn. I’ve been to a couple different Home Depot stores and local nurseries and no one seems to know what these parts are so that I can replace it. The only part that I’m familiar with is the pvc. Any ideas on where I can get this from?

Is tile from chains/big box stores always a bad idea?

14h ago

I’m (hopefully) having tile set on a 9x3 section of wall behind my shower/tub combo. I had bad luck with the first contractor and the project is paused while I look for a new one. I want green subway tile and originally bought 3 x 6 beveled tile from the Tile Shop. Almost all of that tile was ruined in the subcontractor’s two attempts at setting it. Now that I have to buy new tile I’m rethinking my original choice. I still want small green subway tile but don’t want the bevel. I’ve read a lot of posts on the tile subreddit advising against using tile from the big box stores. I’m having trouble finding small “mom and pop” tile stores in Chicago. It seems like it’s eithe...

missing screws

14h ago

I purchased a filament hub and it came but did not have the 2 screws to mount it to the P2S. I contacted support via a ticket. This is what Support answered after going back and forth 3 times. For installation, please use **2 × ST3x24x7 screws**. You can either:  * remove the screws from the old part, or  * purchase equivalent screws from a local hardware store. Well, there was no old part to use screws from ( like I would not have already thought of that). To mount the filament hub, there is a rubber stopper covering up the connector. You remove the rubber stopper with your hands, connect the hub to the connector and the hub mounts over that hole. There is no old screws to use. se...

StoreDépôt.ca pour des stores sur mesure? Votre avis?

16h ago

Hey everyone, If it's your first time reading one of my posts, I break down the top logistics news from the past week, so you're always up to date. Let's jump into it, # Amazon just declared war on the entire transportation industry Yesterday was a brutal day to own transportation stocks. FedEx fell as much as 10%, its worst single-day drop in over a year. UPS fell a similar amount. GXO and Forward Air both shed double digits. The S&P 500 Transportation Index, which had been flirting with all-time highs recently after recovering from Iran-war jitters, got absolutely taken apart. The trigger: Amazon announced it is opening its logistics network to outside business...
