Ordered 9 bags of garden soil via home depot because it said free delivery… Store is 3 miles from me. the bags arrived at my front door step before I woke up so I wasn’t able to tip. Does home depot pay these drivers decently? Because it’s extremely convenient to order this way and I would do it more often… but I feel bad about someone else having to load and unload these heavy bags if they’re getting paid like a doordash or uber eats order…

I've hesitated ordering from Home Depot as I don't know if they pay the drivers enough. It's free delivery to me, but I don't want to screw the drivers. But then if I don't use them, are the drivers missing out on needed income? T-Mobile was sending me a modem, and have hesitated on the home depot order. Both stores are 13 miles, but it's 45 minutes one way, and probably almost no chance of getting another order heading back. Thoughts?

So I went shopping at Home Depot yesterday. I wanted to buy some of those lights you place in the ground to line your driveway or front steps or whatever. Is it Lots job to sweep the entire store for stray carts at your Home Depot or does each department bring the carts up front to make it easier for gathering? Specifically finger jointed rather than MDF. It seems like home Depot / Rona have mostly MDF and only very stock builder grade options. My first thought is Windsor plywood but I'm wondering if there are some hidden gems.

Was at Home Depot picking up some caulk and ended up standing in the bathroom fixture aisle way longer than I planned. One of the Horow one-piece units genuinely stopped me. I want to do a complete bathroom remodel including removing the tub and installing a new big shower. I’ve gotten 3 quotes so far. A few initial questions. \- Is it normal to be forced to buy fixtures through a showroom vs Home Depot or a similar store? \- Are tile and fixtures bought at Home Depot inferior to much more expensive fixtures or is it all aesthetics? I guess I’m trying to figure out what things are worth paying extra for and what things I can save on. \- How much should I budget for over the quoted price, 10%, 20%? At least in my area, the XGT items remaining on clearance have all disappeared overnight with the former XGT cages now containing only LXT tools. So if you were waiting for the "final" clearance price on these, for at least my area stores you missed them. 🤷‍♂️

Basically I'm working on an art project in town and I need to make a warehouse set. I don't have much money to spend (under 1k) and I don't know where to find bulk shelves. I see of course the Home Depot type of stores that charge around 200 a shelf but I need as many as I can get for cheap. In a perfect world, I would find 8ft long shelves that are 6ft tall. I need somewhere around 10 of them. Any resources people have would be great, I don't know where to call. These could be really old, maybe even busted shelves that someone is just trying to get rid of. Anything helps.

I bought this bookcase from Amazon a couple of years ago. I use it for blurays and I am wanting to get a couple more shelves and pins. Does anyone know what should be the best way to get some? Contact manufacturer? Take one of the shelves to Home Depot and have them cut new ones to size?
