Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the The Home Depot Latest Community Discussions About The Home DepotToilet Reliability — Replacing TOTO1h agohttps://preview.redd.it/5birleh2b41h1.png?width=3090&format=png&auto=webp&s=47896f25fa088299ad5b3fe87d304c7fa0bbe94f We spent 1k each on a pair of TOTO Aquia IV one piece skirted toilets when we did a massive renovation on our house a few years ago and they have been a disaster. Slow close seats breaking constantly, even after replacements sent from TOTO. Clogging drains constantly, requiring pulling the toilet, which is a PITA with their proprietary trap/flange system and floor connection. I've had it and want to replace them with something that is hopefully more reliable and easier to install/service. Looked at American Champion 4, as well as Kohler Santa Rosa... Does my plant need more light or water?1h agoI Bought this plant at Home Depot on May 6th. It was drenched so I removed it from the plastic pot and let the roots dry out overnight before planting it the next morning. It’s in 1:1 mix of miracle grow succulent mix and perlite. I watered it for the first time today- it has been sitting In a window or I’ve taken it outside to be in the shade. I haven’t put it out in direct sun because it was on the ground under the main display at the store, I didn’t think it was getting a lot of direct sun. I bought another succulent at the same time and it’s doing well. I have a few cuttings that are starting to root as well, this is the only plant that’s giving me trouble. I’m in Souther... What business type are we missing on Main Street that we could really use?1h agoOK here we go. This has been a thorn in my side for quite some time. And I have lived here in Hackensack for decades. I really like shopping in this neighborhood. I like that we have a walkable Main Street. I can hit Aldi, Lidl, get some great food, and get the occasional pedicure. But there are some businesses that are missing, and it drives me crazy. **All of Main Street is beauty salons, nail salons, barbershops, and food. Also add in a couple of smoke shops and dollar stores. That’s the entirety of Main Street.** There isn’t one single chain pharmacy anymore in the neighborhood. Rite Aid, which became Walgreens, is now gone. CVS has been gone for years. I remember being able to w... Add An Inch Of Pure Muscle To Your Forearms In 90 Days Or Double Your Money Back…3h ago# Add An Inch Of Pure Muscle To Your Forearms In 90 Days Or Double Your Money Back… A 5’4″ man in the 1920s could do things with his hands that 250-pound bodybuilders today can’t. The training method he used, called *steel bending*, is making a quiet comeback. On the boardwalk at Coney Island in the 1920s, crowds gathered to watch a man who had no business being impressive. Joseph Greenstein stood 5’4″ and weighed 140 pounds. He looked like a bookkeeper. He looked like someone you’d pass on the street without a second thought. Then he picked up a sixty-penny nail, thick as a pencil, and bent it with his bare hands. Not with a quick snap. Slowly. Deliberately. His entire bo... Where to buy starter vegetables and native plants?7h agoThe couple of plant stores/nurseries I called didn’t do either I do not want to shop at Home Depot or Lowe’s DC Career8h agoI got fired from home depot store for attendance well over a year ago. Can I go work at the distribution center? Maybe Socrates Was on to Something13h agoImagine human beings living in a HOA suburb-like residence. Its landscape is filled with grass and reaches all along the road. They have been there since their childhood, mowing lawns, unable enjoy or feel, forced to weedwack and leafblow--or they receive a fine. An industrious ant buries a violet seed in their lawn, soon a cacophony of purple and white blooms anew. They research #nomowmay. A Variegated Fritillary appears leading them past Home Depot to a native plant sale. They emerge with 30 new plants--milkweed is important for monarchs after all. An oak is planted where there was nothing but fescue. I want to make some needed changes to my gecko's enclosure but I cannot find any helpful information that isn't extremely confusing. Got a Home Depot interview invite but no May slots available?17h agoHey everyone, I applied for a part-time Merchandising Associate position at Home Depot and today I got an email invitation to schedule a video interview. The problem is when I open the scheduling link, there are no interview slots available in May. The email says the calendar opens throughout the day in 3-day advancements and to check back later if no spaces are available. Has anyone else experienced this? Did new slots eventually open up, or should I contact the store/recruiter directly? I don’t want to miss the interview opportunity. Thanks! Has anyone seen a nursery / store with Groundcherry / Cape Gooseberry (Physalis peruviana) starts?20h agoI've called around and I've mostly gotten responses, like "yeah, we have cherry trees" or "no, we don't have gooseberries" or "huh?" [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physalis\_peruviana](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physalis_peruviana) I accidentally planted one from Home Depot a few years back and my wife loved them. I haven't seen them since (also checked O'Tooles and Echters) I’m back in the friggin building again22h agoSo about almost a year ago, I left the big blue store to work for the orange box. The orange box did pay a little more but it really wasn’t worth my mental sanity. While the big blue can be annoying at times, The Home Depot is on another level of disrespect towards its employees and the stores managerial team clearly has favorites. I have an interview coming up on Friday for my old MST position full-time this time and hopefully I can get the position. My original reason of leaving Lowe’s was the low hours and peanuts for pay. I’m just hoping that I can nail it one more time to come back to the company. Does getting the conditional job offer email mean I have the job?22h agoPending background check of course\*. last time I worked for Home Depot was in another city 9 years ago (I’m in my 30s). I when I applied for it 10 years ago had to do the application online then interview with both ASDS and store manager, then the asds did the drug test. Is it just the drug test that happens now along with paperwork? There Are 1,300+ Resistance Welded Products at the Hardware Store1d agoYou probably see resistance welding every day without realizing it. 👀 In this clip from Weld Wednesday with AWS, resistance welding expert Don DeCorte explains how there are over 1,300 resistance-welded products inside your local Home Depot alone — from appliances and electrical boxes to tools, drums, and hardware. Resistance welding is one of the most widely used manufacturing processes in the world, but most welders never hear about it. 🎧 Check out the full episode: [weld.ng/podcast](http://weld.ng/podcast) Home Depot vs Lowe’s PVC fitting1d agoI have 20+ PVC fittings I need to return but I don’t remember which store I bought at I shop at Lowe’s and Home Depot and both stock Charlotte Pipes, is there a way to tell which store it was bought from? would save them the trouble of them finding it on their system because of different barcodes, or does it not matter? thanks Everything went downhill when they took all of the cash registers out and replaced it with all self-checkout.1d agoA few months ago at my specific store, they re-did the front end for cashiers, and made it all self-checkout. Ever since then, I’ve had a lot of micromanagement, rudeness, and hypocrisy from a few co-workers and head cashiers. The first instance is a co-worker cashier who I will call Lilly, kept rudely telling me, “15 minutes only!” every single time she would cover for me in garden (where there is still a normal cash register there.) She would count my time from when I stepped out of the cubicle booth. I time myself as I sit down in the store. It got to the point where she told other head cashiers and the department supervisor about me “taking 30 minute breaks on my 15”, which isn...
