Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the The Home Depot Latest Community Discussions About The Home DepotModerate amounts of firewood?2h agoI'm looking for a moderate amount of firewood. More than the bags from a convenience store or grocery store. Less than a half cord. Probably enough for the width of a full size truck and about 1/2 way up. Looking for close to NB Home Depot or Bucees It’s not trash to me!4h agoYesterday I swung through the plant department at Home Depot while I was there buying a 2 x 4, and I found a pile of tradescantia zebrina scraps in pieces on the floor. The actual plant was nowhere to be found, so somebody must have cleaned it up before they purchased it. When I was asking the plant department lady for permission to take them, we got to talking. I told her about the Home Depot in Staten Island, where a staff member set up a propagation box to give away scraps, and that even vendors have been contributing to it. (I’m not sure if I saw that HD associate’s posts here or in another sub.) She loved that idea, and is going to look into doing it at my local store. She said sh... Instacart is charging different prices to different customers and uses AI to determine them (research)4h agoOn a Thursday in early September, more than 40 strangers logged in to Instacart, the grocery-shopping app, to buy eggs and test a hypothesis. Connected by videoconference, they simultaneously selected the same store — a Safeway in Washington, D.C. — and the same brand of eggs. They all chose pickup rather than delivery. The only difference was the price they were offered: $3.99 for a couple of lucky shoppers. $4.59 or $4.69 for others. And a few saw a price of $4.79 — 20 percent more than some others, for the exact same product. The shoppers were volunteers, participating in a study published on Tuesday and organized by the Groundwork Collaborative, a progressive policy group... Holiday 2-battery + free tool deal — sold out already? Did this happen in prior years?6h agoI’m a bit confused and hoping someone here remembers — over the holidays there was a deal for a 2-battery pack + free Milwaukee tool for $199, and the promo was supposed to run through February 1. But as of now, every online listing shows it as “sold out,” and I’ve visited multiple stores and can’t find the batteries in stock anywhere. Has anybody here seen this situation before (in past years with Milwaukee or Home Depot)? Does the deal tend to get fully sold out early even when the end date is farther out — or do they ever restock/resume availability once the promo window is still open? I’m leaning toward thinking that HD wouldn’t just let the deal disappear halfway... Pavers physical store7h agoIs there a physical place that I can stop by and purchase a few large to extra large pavers? Preferably near Merritt Island. Not really looking Home Depot not sure if Ace would have what I’m looking for Deicer recommendeds7h agoLooking for recommendations on a deicer for my chicken water. I use a 5gal home Depot bucket with the silver nipples to peck at. I will also NEED to run an extension cord out to the coop to run this. Would a 14g outdoor extension cord work? Or should I get a 12g? Any and all opinions and comments, related to this, are welcome. Thank you! $82.95 NUGGET ICE MAKER @ HOME DEPOT8h agoWould you go? Aio?11h agoThrowaway. 10 years. 4 kids. So much love. At least on my end. I journaled earlier like I was writing him but I havent sent it. He knows im about done. He deflects, shifts blame doesnt ever change. This is what I wrote. This doesn't scratch thw surface. Am I over reacting? Should I give up? Send it? Just keep going? I pay for most things. 2 disabled kids. I do love him. Endlessly. Here it is You didn't help around the house after girls were born. To the point you didnt do dishes for months and let them pile and mold and let laundry fill a room after me getting things spotless both times until I did it all again myself. Liftmaster has finally pushed too far.16h agoI just can't do it anymore with Liftmaster, they have built a solid reputation for decades just to sell out to Black Stone and throw it all away. They discontinued Liftmaster openers that come with more than 1 remote and a keypad and sell no openers without a built in camera which are more money of course meanwhile Chamberlain, the company that owns Liftmaster have all equal Chamberlain options available at Home Depot for far less money. Once you add the remote and keyless to the Liftmaster (usually comes with Chamberlain) a dealers cost is upward about $200 more than what the average Joe can buy at Home Depot and that's with Home Depot's mark-up. Home depot is probably bu... Home Depot really loves ice, huh?20h agoThis is outside the Armitage/Cicero store. They have pallets of salt and shovels inside, I guess they'd rather everyone just break their legs? First Project - Help22h agoWent to Home Depot the other day for a towel rod holder and decided to channel my inner Bob the Builder and dive head-first into my first woodworking project… My dad gave me my grandpas old miter saw and I snagged a jig saw, pocket hole jig, and some pine while I was at the store. Being that pine doesn’t stain well, once I finish up this frame I was planning to do the front and sides with another wood. What would you guys recommend to use for the front / sides and how would you go about cutting it out? **** poor planning on my part, but I’m making do and learning as I go. Having a ton of fun while at it. Learned I could have just bought the shelf for 1/7th the price I paid for tools ... Just show the items. They send all these offers with huge dimensions and weight. Yet I drive a model 3 🤣🤷🤡 also...22h agoIt would be significantly much easier if this ****** app just told me what I’m picking up. Home Depot Battery Deal - $7/ah, includes HP Batteries23h agoThere's a pretty incredible battery deal going on right now at Home Depot: **$7/ah** including 4 HP batteries (2x4ah, 2x6ah). Kind of unheard of tbh. I have more batteries than I can store and I'm thinking about buying it. Plan to add 22 recessed light23h agoHi, I’m new to the world of can recessed lighting and am hoping to get some advice from this forum. I’ve decided to go with 5″ or 6″ recessed fixtures. (I know opinions on 6″ vary, but this size seems to suit my needs.) Can anyone recommend a smart LED light or retrofit trim kit that is **dimmable**, **1000+ lumens**, and has a **color temperature of 5000K–6000K**? I haven’t been able to find any at Home Depot or Lowe’s. I’ve been using Linkind brand smart light bulb for a few years with no issues. I did find this one, which is designed for recessed can fixtures, but unfortunately, it’s not dimmable.: [https://www.amazon.com/Linkind-Matter-BR30-RGBTW-Bulb/dp/B0F5GX7N2... My first new leaf on a long-awaited Thai con has its first fenestration!1d agoIn a small Canadian city, so cool plant varieties usually take a while to get to us - I’d spent the last 2 years scouring local stores to try to get my hands on one of these for a reasonable price. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a $100 online order, then stopped by Home Depot and almost cried seeing a whole selection of mid-sized Thai cons for $35! This was about 8 weeks ago - she just gave me a brand new leaf and seems to be loving life by this window. I feel like a proud new mom 😌 Gnat infestation1d agoWe have a gnat infestation on all our plants at work \[I have some at home too it seems\]. We have tried hydrogen peroxide without success. I was advised to try mosquito dunks but Amazon won't ship them to Canada. The similar-sounding product at Canadian Tire are big discs that go in birdbaths/pool covers - inside water, so don't seem to apply, not small discs that could go in a watering can. Home Depot recommends this: [Safer’s 3-in-1 Garden Spray | Canadian Tire](https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/safer-s-3-in-1-garden-spray-0591129p.html?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20279557177#store=389) is it likely to work for gnats? Is there anything else... Do you make keys?1d agoIt honestly drives me crazy when people call in and say "I've been to walmart, home depot, and 3 hardware stores. They can't make my key. Do you think you can do it?" People- Locksmiths are your first stop for keys! Try them first...🤯 Thank you for your attention to this matter.
