Today was going to be the day, I’ve saved all my money for an entire year and I was going to buy an electric dirtbike. As a full time wheelchair user this was meant to give me my freedom back. My first mistake was buying a 24 year old yz250 as my first bike. But that was going to be put behind as I managed to sell it a week ago. I received my PACE Performance review recently, was not exactly good or true to the fact. Per my SM, I am a good worker but I need improvement. Been with HD 8 years and have a lot of responsibilities, store functions. Was asked this and at previous review if I'd like advancement to a DH promotion. Was offered, but it went no where. Seems favoritism always prevails. But the most insulting was I received a .45cent hourly raise. And I am still making less than the new hires they are bringing in. Extreme newbie here. Extreme as in the first time I even started a fire was today, in my brand new offset smoker grill lol I watched a ton of videos and did a ton of research before I decided to take the plunge today and start smoking a tri tip. Honestly everything is going well except I’m burning through a **** ton of wood chunks real fast, as in every 15-20 min I’m needing to add. Is this normal? It doesn’t seem sustainable. I need help finding a substitute for orchid bark for my potting soil all stores near me (three walmarts, two lowe’s and three home depots and one Ace Hardware) are all out of orchid bark, and i don’t want to order online unless absolutely necessary. Is there anything similar to it for well draining soil mix? I use one 8qt bag of perlite and peat moss and same size bag of orchid bark usually.

Unfortunately the hedges are starting to really push new growth with the recent sunlight we're getting and it'd be ideal if i chop them down before the branches really solidify. Ive been waiting but I havent seen anything come up in terms of HD sales

My main concern is if the delivery guys don’t connect all the wires properly costing me more electricity usage or safety issue. I read Home Depot uses third party delivery companies. I read mix reviews for both stores but would like to hear other people’s experience. I live in a condo and the machine can only fit in a tight closet. I can only buy a stackable washer and dryer.

Looking for non big box store flytraps. I used to have them as children and one as an adult but always got them from Home Depot. Seems like there are better options out there. Also wondering what people’s experiences have been doing a forced dormancy vs not. I tried to do it once unsuccessfully and it seems to be optional but controversial 🤣. TIA.

Hello r/Shed. I’m looking to get a shed for my home and was wondering if buying out right vs financing is a better way to go? I’ve heard that some shed companies have predatory lending. How would I determine which ones to stay away from? Is Lowe’s or Home Depot a viable option? I’m in the nature coast area of FL (Pasco, Hernado, Citrus counties) if that helps any. In the last 8 years the screw-in blue 60 liter CO2 bottles have always been available at Target as shown on https://sodastream.com/pages/store-locator?tags=co2%20cylinders. However, yesterday both the local Target who always had them in the past, and a local Walmart, said they have not received any units for several months. Is the SodaStream store locator kept current with inventory levels (e.g. like Home Depot), or does the SodaStream store locator merely list store locations that had inventory weeks, months, or years ago? Since Lowe's is closer to me, the only reason I would drive the extra distance to HD was for the guilty pleasure of getting a sausage dog and a Sabrett's (which definitely was not a true Sabrett). I even took the time one trip to go find HD's GM and tell him the hot dogs were the main/only reason I shopped his store from time to time. Anyone happen to know why they're gone? And if HD will get another to take its place?

Hi! I used to use EcoSense products and they were great, but a bit expensive and you have to have a membership through their website. I no longer have access to that, and have a few clients I want to see in the coming weeks. I’m looking for similar non-toxic alternatives one might be able to get at a big box store like Walmart, Home Depot, or even Amazon, that smells good and doesn’t have harsh chemicals. Open to any brands. Especially looming for a good multi purpose floor cleaner, and a good alternative to ES’s tub and tile product! This community rocks. Thanks!
