Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the The Home Depot Latest Community Discussions About The Home Depot1 year and 36 days in the After7h agoI miss holding your hand. Its smaller than mine but not a lot, and your fingers are long and the skin is slightly rough because you work in the yard and garden and on house projects. When we held hands we were connected, bonded together. I miss the press of your hip on mine when we stand together. I miss your smell and the slightly bristly feel of your hair when it touches my arm or neck or chest. I miss your leg lying across me in case my hand wants to massage it. I miss your sly smile when you watch me realize that you've tricked me again. I miss your big smile when you see a bloom, an animal, a plant you don't recognize, an old piece of discarded machinery at a yard sale tha... Cheap set up recommendations?8h agoBasically I'm moving house and I've got a pond in my front yard with three hand sized comets and a handful of rosey minnows. The landlord of the new property has given me permission to turn the in ground pool into a pond as it's a bit of a cluster-**** and she doesn't want to deal with it. Obviously this is going to be an all summer project but in the meantime I need a temporary way to house these guys. I was thinking about a huge heavy duty plastic storage tub from home depot but what do y'all think. Worst case how many gallons should I be looking for if I need to do glass? I'm looking to be cheap with the temp set up so I can afford a nice sump/canister filter... Moving into CR, looking for inputs from the community!9h agoHi! I'm going to be new in Cedar Rapids, and like everyone else, the apartment hunt and coming into a possibly quiet town has me in mixed feelings - people, friends, community etc. The apartments I'm considering are: The crossing on Boyson, Briarwood and Hidden Creek apartments. I don't drive yet or wont for the next 4 months, so I'd prefer being close to Collins office. Crossing on Boyson - becomes too far, nice apartments but 1 bed goes to $1500 including everything, no commercial or groceries stuff around, highly reliant on car Briarwood: great location, close to office and best buy, home depot, restaurants and lindale mall, I get a 2bed for about 14... Water Heater (to heat pump or not to heat pump)11h agoHey y'all, I have an old natural gas hot water heater from 2008 in my house that I'm looking to get replaced before it becomes a problem. I got a variety of quotes ranging from tankless to just a drop in replacement unit. I'm currently leaning towards the heat pump hot water heater due to me just getting solar installed and some local incentives making it a decent Middle ground between a drop in and a tankless. I stated above I have natural gas and the current unit is old and probably has not been maintained if the rest of the house is anything to go by. I've asked around and gotten quotes from Lowe's, Home Depot and a local guy and all are within the ballpark of ea... Feeling guilty13h agoI love my Goldies. I love waking up and seeing them everyday and tending to their tank, but I feel I can’t provide them the life they need in terms of space. My parents “rescued” one of the two goldfish I now own out of a tiny “pond” (the ones you can buy at Home Depot that are a foot wide). This pond had no filtration and was in front of an off-season vacation home. They took two goldfish out of there, one died. One of my goldfish is from the little pond and one is from petco. My parents actually have a very well maintained, 20 year old, 6 foot wide, 4-foot (ish) deep pond of shubunkins. For some reason my parents didn’t seem to understand common goldfish and shubunkins both n... OPENING SEGMENT - Young & the Breathless starts out the vlog showing us she finally took a shower (she calls it an “everything shower.” & Shills some PR that she can’t even really remember where she got it from. She literally reads the label, why can’t she ever pre-prep anything? She shows her audience literally every single step to getting stuff done but she’s gotta pad the run time for no reason. She admires herself in the mirror as she drones on about her hair care because she thinks people care. She keeps blaming Anderson instead of her own greasy fingers f... Where could I find a really cute bouquet today?15h agolooking for a more natural/wild type of bouquet like something they might have at the farmers market. not like the bouquets at home Depot or the grocery stores. I think I saw someone selling the type of bouquet that I'm thinking of at Good Time on the weekends. but where could I find one like that today? thank you. Flags in Actual!17h agoHi everyone! If you've ever used YNAB or some other budgeting tools, you may have come across flags before. YNAB [describes flags](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/flags-a-guide-Skh8Xb4kj#function:~:text=Sort%20by%20Flag-,What%20Can%20I%20Do%20With%20Flags%3F,-Want%20to%20add) this way: * Adding detail to your expenses, and color-coding related transactions. Flags help group expenses that have separate categories, like tax-deductible expenses. You can also export your flagged transactions and then share them with anyone who will listen to you. * Helping you follow up on reimbursable expenses (who owes you, or what it's for). * If you're YNABing with a partner, you can flag tran... Anyone try these for an above ground?19h agoI'd like to put up a cheap above ground pond. mosquito fish maybe rice fish and some plants. but I'm aiming for on the cheap side. saw some plastic livestock feeders that would work well but storage bins are so much more affordable. Any thoughts and cautions? Issues Logging In After LOA19h agoHey all. So, I went on LOA for a few months, and Im supposed to be getting put back on the schedule soon. Im having serious issues accessing workforce/workday. Its requiring me to update my password, but when I try, the website throws an error. Has anyone else seen this? How do I go about rectifying this? Should I go in to the store and talk to a manager? Or is there a number I can call? Is there a way to opt-out of store pickup orders21h agoI've been getting spammed with store pickup orders (Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's). Not only do these orders not pay enough, but my car is too small to take bulky orders. I really only want to see food orders, i have shop and deliver disabled, but these orders don't seem to be classified under shop and deliver. Thanks! Best Home Depot Garden Centers in Metro Atlanta Right Now23h agoWhich Home Depot locations around Atlanta actually have a good garden center right now? I know it can be hit or miss depending on timing, but I’m looking for more than the basics. Somewhere with a solid variety for spring and summer and not the same plants every store has. Also very specific ask, has anyone seen shampoo ginger plants at any Home Depot lately? My mom found one at her usual store in Savannah and now I’m trying to track one down here. Willing to drive if it’s worth it, so I’d appreciate any recommendations. Never thought Home Depot would be the one to save the day1d agoEvery grocery store in my area has been wiped out for 2 weeks already but I found a nice bubbly oasis hiding behind the garden tools 😎 I feel like I'm living another life in my dreams, and have been for over a decade now. It's not a great life, ...1d agoBack in 2015, I began having dreams about a sea cove, or maybe river inlets (or whatever it's called). The shore is steep, with large rocks, pine trees, and multiple small peninsulas. One area opens up to a sort of boat ramp, with a small brick lighthouse next to it. The "ramp" is more like a one laned road going into the water, and it's on a steep angle, similar to the other topography. Probably a 40° angle at least. If you're coming out of the water, perhaps 20 feet up/out, the lighthouse/small house is on the right, with a small parking lot that parks 3 to 5 cars. So, it's small. Continuing up the road, perhaps 2,000 or 3,000 feet or so, it opens up into a l... Brought a new grill. I want to secure it to my house (brick exterior)1d agoSorry if not allowed, but I brought a charcoal grill and I'd love to store it outside, but I cant seem to find a good anchor or anything ideal for security. I'd rather not trust a ground anchor, and I've got the tools to go into masonry but it seems like I'm the only person on the world that wants to just chain this thing down. I know about Anchorhog but Lowes/Home Depot near me dont have any in stock. Why are water softener costs so varied between a big box store and a water softener company?1d agoBought a house with an ancient water softener. When I had a plumber come out during the inspection period, he advised me to set it to bypass (so it didn’t gunk up my pipes with resin). I did just that after purchasing the home. My question is, if the house is already plumbed for a water softener, why can’t I just buy one from Home Depot for under a thousand and pay a plumber a couple hundred bucks to install it? Everywhere around town charges thousands for a system (that inspector plumber was like, “oh, we’ve got a great one for $6,500, and that covers install!”), but how can the price points be so different? What am I missing here? I haven’t moved in yet, but I want to have ... My First day as a Spark driver1d agoFirst Day driving spark. I made $88 + 1 $6 tip in 4 hours, but ended up an hour from where I started so 5 hours driving. total miles driven - 110. only 30 min downtime. i used 6 gallons of gas at $4. not really great but I feel like I made a mistake by accepting my last order. I started by accepting a home depot order that made me wait 30 min to start. made $7 going 4 miles. next was a Walmart shop and deliver that took me 17 minutes to shop and 25 min to deliver. that paid $22 + the $6 tip. i then took a 7 stop order that paid $60. bunch of ridiculous large stuff. ten bags of mulch, 2 full size trashcans. the final stop was 35 miles from the store. i ended up using 2 hours and... ğŸ›¡ï¸ Content Safety: All discussions are automatically filtered for inappropriate content to ensure a safe browsing experience. |
