Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the The Home Depot Latest Community Discussions About The Home DepotVacuum Recommendations, Please!3h agoRelevant info for you guys: 1,700sqft, mostly carpet (medium and high pile) but I do have some tile area. We only have a single VERY fluffy cat, no children. We live in Canada, and our budget would be about $500. I also have very bad allergies, so I'm thinking a HEPA filter might be good. Stores near me: Canadian Tire, Best Buy, Home Depot, Costco, Walmart, as well as local stores that carry Miele and Sebo brands. I am absolutely and completely ignorant about vacuums. But from my reading on here I've been looking at a Miele C1, a SEBO Kombi, or maybe even a Shark Navigator and I buy a separate air purifier for the bedroom. I have no idea if there's a quality difference... Alex Albon Meet & Greet for Miami5h agoYou can find more info here: https://duracell.com/duracell-williams-racing#events Highly suggest taking the Tri-Rail to Hialeah Market if you don’t have a car and are near a station, it is right across at the street! Experience with Home Depot Teak Butcher block outdoors for cocktail pool?5h agoHi, I’m looking for anyone with experience using the Hampton Bay teak butcher block from Home Depot in an outdoor setting. We have purchased this butcher block to be used as a table in our cocktail pool. It comes unfinished, I plan to sand it, round the corners and then add the Watco teak oil in multiple layers. We went back-and-forth between using an actual sealer or the oil. We chose the oil because of the ease of use. Also, we didn’t want to deal with a sealer flaking and having to sand it completely in order to refinish it. Our thoughts are that if we can get 2 to 3 seasons use out of it then we would be happy to replace it. The butcher block itself cost $600 bucks and I figured I... M18 Inflator & 10% Discount7h agoMake sure to take advantage of the 10% discount when Home Depot sends you an email requesting a review of your purchase. It saved me $20. Could you please explain the difference in the second picture? It’s the same inflator and 5.0 battery, but it’s more expensive. The battery has a symbol on the right-hand corner. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Electric-Portable-Inflator-w-5-0-Ah-Battery-2848-20-48-11-1850R/341983884 Where to buy rodent repellent pouches for RV storage? What brands are you using?9h agoGetting ready to winterize the fifth wheel and I want to place rodent repellent pouches inside all the cabinets, under the bed storage, and in the engine bay of the truck. Last year I used dryer sheets and they did nothing. I've seen several brands of peppermint pouches online but I'd rather buy in person so I can smell them and see the size before committing. Has anyone found good options at walmart, home depot, or camping stores? What brands have actually worked for you? Please help! Advice on painted brick, water leaking in on electric, big building, bought recently, urgent. Thank you!13h agoI bought a 3 story, 18 unit apartment building. I bought it on seller financing for 10% down which was 100k down. It has been an amazing opportunity but so so much harder than I ever thought possible. It was a huge learning curve and maybe not a great investment. Since May 2025 it's been an uphill battle for major electrical, hvac and pluming repairs. I took out a loan for the 10% down, have had 50K in unexpected repairs on top of the 30k predicted. My credit cards are maxxed out. I got let go from my job in October with no notice when my position was eliminated, I had to accept a new job that pays half of what I was making before and just covers my personal mortgage and costs... I’m planning on leaving my bf14h agoSo for starters me and my bf have been together for a 1yr and a half and we’re about 20 yrs apart so you have an idea of our dynamic. And for the record I know I can be ****** but just know im still young and I’m learning and I’m still discovering what I’m doing with my life and who I am as we all are This is going to be a long one So basically to start this off he’s a lot to deal with, I can’t really have a normal conversation without feeling judged, and just to give you a few examples I play games on my phone as we all do like tf and he says that I’m immature for that, as you know I lost a lot of weight with my accident as I was on a liquid diet for like basically two mo... Subpanel Upgrade (MLO amperage capacity, brand, breaker style) Questions14h agoMy house was built in the 80s and it has 200A service to a small main outdoor panel (with maybe 6 spaces), there are two 100A breakers in the main load center that feed two downstream indoor subpanels. Both subpanels are 20-space and both completely stuffed, even with tandems where they are allowed to be placed. I want to upgrade one of the panels for more space, so, I'm researching it. My existing panels are Square D QO so, I'm looking at options to stay within the brand & model. At this time, I have no intention of running a new feeder but I may want to do that down the road. Question 1) I'd like to get a 30-space panel or larger but they're all rated 150A or ... Am I overreacting on doing so much for part-time?16h agoI've been working in at home depot for a little over a year. Im licensed on everything and know most departments/products (I used to work at Lowes before this - ironic) but I get along well. I took classes as an electrician and on field work at my local community college. So I am very familiar with my department. Long story short, I am the only female in my department, which makes it difficult with sexist customers asking for men assistance over mine. But this is where it bothers me, I work with just men in my department. And since ive been hired, I am the only one cleaning. Genuinely cleaning like picking up my coworkers trash, cardboard, etc. At first, it did not bother me, but now ... Outdoor Cameras17h agoI have more questions than answers filtering through the internet on what camera I should buy. New to homeownership and need reliable security cameras for outdoor that sends notifications and stores video. How and what do I need to store my own video? how hard is it to hardwire? What would I need? Should I be looking at Amazon? or Menards/Home Depot/Best Buy? Any suggestions would be appreciated, in simple terms I suppose. Amsteel/Dyneema substitute for Tensa Solo guylines18h agoI am VERY new to using a Tensa Solo. I've tried to set it up in my yard and have failed laughably. After doing some reading here and other hammock-centric forums I think I had two problems: I live in Florida so very loose/loamy soil, I used regular old paracord guylines from one of my tents. It stretched, and I went on my ***. I'm going to make my own boomstakes too. What's a good guyline material I can find at Dicks/Harbor Freight/Home Depot/Tractor Supply etc, or a Marine store? Thanks in advance. Rockler - returning saw blade19h agoHi everyone, I'm gonna vent here. I'll start by saying I love Rockler - it's my go store for a lot of my woodworking stuff. However, I'm not used to their old school return policy. I bought a 12-inch full kerf Freud blade for my dewalt miter saw, which I found out after trying to install it, won't fit my miter saw. I can only use thin kerf blades. I ended up putting marks on it when I tried to install it, and I already threw out the cardboard cover for it. When I went to return it, they said they can't because it's not in its original cover and there's marks on it. Maybe I'm spoiled, but Home Depot, Amazon, and many other brick and mortar store... Lied on my resume and got an interview19h agoI have an interview tomorrow at Home Depot and I've never had a job but I said I've worked as a sales associate at a clothing store for about 8 months. I'm thinking about not even going to the interview but any advice would be appreciated. Also a bit worried about the background check. Veggie plants20h agoWhere are we buying young vegetable plants locally aside Home Depot or any adjacent hardware store? I don’t have it in me to start from seed this late into the season TIA 🌱 Just finish putting the garden in. Very excited, first year ever gardening , most from seeds. Please let me know if this...20h agoEverything from store is in the vertical garden. All the rest is me from seed. 3 kinds of tomatoes. Grape tomatoes, one plant. In individual pot. 3 Roma tomatoes 3 “super toms” tomatoes (like beefsteak) 3 jalapeños 3 blend bell pepper 3 French green beans Some lettuce Carrots Fish, jalapeno and Thai peppers. Also some Brussels sprouts and artichokes ( I know artichokes will take 2 years, I am ready for that. ) The vertical garden is all Home Depot plants, Herbs and strawberries. All seeds from burpees. Love for feed back. Tried to do companion planting for big bed. What did I do well? What did I mess up? What should I move or replant? Any hints are appreciated. ... Local sofa stores with familiar looking custom couches for lower prices "sourced from LA" - what's up wit...22h agoI've noticed at least a few local stores here in the Seattle area that have familiar looking custom models of popular style couches, often at relatively low prices. They all say they're from "LA designers". Anyone have insight on these? Are these all just white label (if that's the right term) of knock off couches marked up or something? Are they getting some company to make knock offs of brand name couches? A couple examples are : \- Cozy Couch LLC \- Modern Design Sofa These stores don't list any real brand names from what I've seen. Image 1: This looks like couches from Macy's listed under "Borsi", as well as online shops like Povi... Club Cadet or John Deer zero turn1d agoI’m trying to decide between a couple of lawn mowers and was wondering if one is better than the other in terms of ease of maintenance and long term reliability. These are pretty expensive machines, so I’d likely need to use a payment plan to afford one. I do have a somewhat working push mower, but because of a disability it’s not really practical for me to use anymore. So I’ve been thinking about buying one from my local Home Depot instead. Just wanted to add that I have never owned a riding lawn mower before and we live in subdivision. I was leaning towards Cub Cadet because of the cheaper price and I was hoping to be able to change my own **engine/transmission fluids**. But if ... Please don’t answer customer calls with “hello?” and nothing else.1d agoThis is mainly for people 30 and under. I’m getting a little annoyed when I call your business, whether it’s Home Depot or Dominos and being met with just “hello?”. Like guys, I want to know I called the right number and not just a random person’s phone. You sound ****, like I just bothered you while you were on vacation or something. If you’re answering calls at your place of work you should provide your name and name of the business. It’s very basic professional etiquette. I know people under 30 have never really been taught phone etiquette but this is just such a basic part of it. The customer shouldn’t have to question you to figure out if they’ve reached the right pl...
