Hi all, 5 months separated in a 21 year marriage and on the road to what looks like divorce. I'm sad, angry, etc etc. Won't get into all of it here but needless to say been out of the house and finally down the "get the attorney" mindset as we work on more the terrible stuff of money and kids (2 in high school). And I just got my own place, which is both sad and exciting at the same time. First post here and would love to connect with others as this journey has been.... hard to stay the least. I had a gen 1 Nest Hub and the screen on it has become really bad (streaks on the top and bottom of the display). I'm in Canada went to a three outlets nearby (one was Walmart, the other Home Depot, and the third Canadian Tire) that normally carry Google stuff to see if I could pick up a replacement gen 2 device. None sold them, only Walmart had one on display but none in stock. I went to the google store and got all out of stock. What's going on? Is Nest Hub dead?

I’m fixing a 2016 1.8T that has a borked cooling system. Absolutely filled with gooey FOD. I’ve looked at threads and videos that have helped me so so much in getting this done. This is almost an enjoyable project. In that spirit, I wanted to share something that I figured out that might help with the next person. 1. Attach a garden hose to the firewall heater core connections to flush the heater core! You can remove the rubber hose from the plastic connector that attach to the male connector on the firewall. Buy 3ft of bulk 3/4 silicone heater hose from auto store. Was $16 at Advance Auto. Buy x2 3/4 barb to GH nylon fittings. $6 at home depot. Attach garden hose and flush. I ...

Hello! I’m working on a small project to convert the back of my car for car camping. For this, I need to cut a piece of plywood that I already have (I bought it on Marketplace because it was affordable and perfect for what I need). Now I need to cut it to the exact measurements, but I’ve never cut wood before and I don’t have the tools or space to do it myself. Does anyone know of a place, platform, or person where I could get this piece cut? I know that Home Depot and Lowe’s will usually only cut wood if you purchase it from them. Hello guys! I need expert opinions about the dent I caused to my vertical bladder tank. The tank is brand new- has not been connected or powered on as I just got it from a home depot store. While I was carrying it to its destined location, I slipped on the stair and the tank slipped from my hands and fell. The damage is as seen in the pictures. Am I screwed or does this look like a cosmetic damage to you?

Hi all, I've read a lot of conflicting information online about whether an attic can actually be used to store things (from a weight perspective). I wouldn't be storing rediculously heavy things up there, but if I were to put down 3/4" plywood and then the home depot 27 gallon tubs filled with things, I'd want to make sure it can handle it. I do shopping most of my stuff (I'm quick in and outta stores here in socal) But like home Depot and Sephora and other stores that we don't get tips cause it's ineligible shiet needs to able to tip ... Most of pay offers are good but I think we should be able to get tipped out from those orders also... Little extra is a long way especially those who waiting so they can not look hideous going out 🤣🤣

Like the title suggests…curious if this piece of trim could be purchased at a big box store ala Lowe’s or Home Depot (preferably HD). I do have a router…but new to using them and the bits I have do not match the routered edge of this trim…so if I can’t get an off the shelf solution…what’s the best way to match it up?

I’ll never do a HD gig past 6pm again. All stores closed people refusing orders . Ridiculous . I only made $40 because this gig took so long . Not worth it. This app was just fine 2 weeks ago now it’s turning bad. After 5 can barely even make $50 smh

Planning for a remodel. Looking to get all new appliances, and I know people suggest costco, home depot, PC Richards, etc. I've seen that local appliance stores are also great to check out. Pretty much what the header says. I have about 7 apps in to one store and I'm stuck in the "application received" stage. I did get a notice on my store support app but it pulled a lot associate position which is not a position I want though I since submitted for that position just to get my foot in the door at this point. It seems maybe this is unconventional but I have two 4” metal boxes which I would like to add a simple light fixture to. Just a bulb. It’s in an unfinished basement. I tried a raised round cover and a porcelain lampholder but the screw holes don’t line up and the terminals would potentially come into contact with the cover which is obviously not ok. I am in a recent spiral of uncertainty! Own a 2021 Pre-refresh Model X with now 67k miles on it but with a new HV battery about 30k miles ago. Recently had to have another service on it, and had a Cybertruck loaner. That was a mistake- I fell in love. We need 4 seats or 7 seats, so am fine with the CT seating arrangement. We are outdoorsy so having the truck bed would be nice- we don't have a need for a "true" truck bed more than the occasional Home Depot plants. I use FSD nearly exclusively on my 2021 X, so am thinking about purchasing a new CT with FSD from the get go as I use it every drive, every day and do about 50+ miles daily. We have a home charger, we also have a BMW...
