Terminal doesnt have grounding strap. Can I install a 12 AWG copper grounding wire where the grounding strap would have been on the terminal? Dryer needs to be up and running in the morning and the stores around me didnt have either the strap or a terminal with a strap in stock. ISO of grill recommendations - flattop?7h agoMy son is requesting a grill for xmas - specifically a flattop. I know nothing of grilling (loving all the photos of amazing feasts in this reddit tho...). Are there grills that convert between flat top and the grate thingie? Any brand recommendations? He does not need a huge grill - He lives alone and occasionally has 1-2 friends over. So no need for something to cook 20 burgers or whatever. I am hoping for something in the 400-500 price range. Prices are all over the place on Home Depot and I have no idea what I am looking at. Any other websites recommended for places for a purchase? I assume I should buy a cover, since it will be stored outside. Thank you in advance for any recomm... Home Depot clearance search.8h agoAlready did this to try to help out last year. Do not drive to random Home Depots. Go to home depots site and search gozney arc xl in bone. If it doesn’t show in stock at your store, open the link check nearby stores underneath. There you can easily change zip codes in your surrounding area for inventory. If it’s on clearance it will show what location. In order to see the clearance price, you have to change to that actual store in the select my store. You can then select the link see in store clearance price and see what they are charging. I was able to get mine for 350 last year on clearance before they upped the price. What brands of Soil do you all use?8h agoHey Planty Fam, So I usually am one of the dirty commoners who just goes to home depot or lowes to buy my Miracle Grow Yellow or blue bag of soil "Potting Mix". and while I admit fully it's been working okay for me, I do know that specific blends are way better for specific plants. I do obviously get Succulent mix for my cactus and succlents but besides that I don't really specialize in terms of Chucky or airy etc... And since I refuse to go into a Home Depot these days it may be the kick I need to start looking for what the plant experts are buying. Bonus question! Do you just store your spare soil in the bags they came in? or have them in bins? Picture is just my... HR/Ethical Concerns11h agoCould anyone provide the Home Depot HR line or Ethics line? I can’t find it posted anywhere in the store, and I feel like asking a leader would be kind of passive aggressive. Thanks in advance. Best place to buy outdoor Christmas lights?12h agoI know Home Depot or Lowe’s has outdoor Christmas lights but are there any other stores I should be thinking about as well? Wilco maybe? White grubs found in store bought mulch, South Carolina.13h agoBasically what the title says, it was found in one bag (so far) of mulch bought at Home Depot. We’re curious as to what they are and if they’re something we need to worry about introducing to our property. Adapt and overcome13h agoWe were given a new monitor last week and a stand but no attachment bolts. Went to the hardware store and dramaaaatically over estimated the necessary length of bolt needed so we grabbed a m6x35 at 4usd each plus tax (**** you home depot) So we got home and well... they were comically too long. My solution? 20mm base 10mm high, solid 5mm tall tube off the top at ~13mm wide with a 6.3mm hole in the center. Elegoo pla+clear 225/60/100 Direct feed .6 nozzle 5+ walls .941 flow with a .04 pressure advance (still getting stringy prints so I need to dial this in better) Mounted the spacers between the head of the bolt and the mounting bracket to minimize the distance from the monitor and... Does anyone own or have seen a milwaukee locker?14h agoIm a diesel mechanic full time and mobile on the side, anyway i was looking at getting a couple milwaukee lockers for the side of my tool box. I also dont want to spend snap-on money if i dont need to 😅. The harbor freight icon is $300 more and i need two lockers just to much stuff haha but anyway long story short wasnt sure if anyone has owned one or knows someone who does, only down side is the milwaukee lockers are a Home Depot exclusive 😐. I appreciate any advice or ideas! Spray Painting Carbon Fiber15h agoPosting here in case anyone has experience with spray painting carbon fiber bikes. My project is not specifically for bikes, but it is for carbon fiber, so hoping the process is the same. I bought several 0.5-inch-diameter carbon fiber tubes at 4-foot length to be used for a theater prop that needs to be light weight. The company I purchased it from has sanded the tubes so they should be ready to spray paint. I wanted advice on any additional preparation I should do before spray painting with a silver/aluminum coating. 1. How should I wash/clean the tubes before applying the primer? Using a microfiber towel and rubbing alcohol? 2. What primers and aluminum/silver spray paints are ideal? I ... Got it! So excited for pizzas.15h agoGot it new in box at my local Home Depot. I have considered options from [Spraybike.us](http://Spraybike.us) or are there just as appropriate options at Home Depot? How many coats of primer should I use? Just 1? 3) I have alrea... How to transport OLED tv?15h agoHow do you all recommend an OLED Bravia is transported? I’m moving house soon, and not keen on the movers transporting my 65A80J in case something happens to it. I’d rather move it myself. In my head laying it flat back down with legs removed in the back of my car (seats and boot fold flat), will be safest without anything on top? Edit, I’m in the UK so shop names may differ to home depot. Moving from a flat to a house and simply didn’t have anywhere to store the box for the last 4 years otherwise I would have likely kept it for this purpose. Thank you for everyone’s advice, we are moving about 20-30 minutes away on the motorway, needless to say I’ll be cringing at every bump,... It’s not trash to me!18h agoYesterday I swung through the plant department at Home Depot while I was there buying a 2 x 4, and I found a pile of tradescantia zebrina scraps in pieces on the floor. The actual plant was nowhere to be found, so somebody must have cleaned it up before they purchased it. When I was asking the plant department lady for permission to take them, we got to talking. I told her about the Home Depot in Staten Island, where a staff member set up a propagation box to give away scraps, and that even vendors have been contributing to it. (I’m not sure if I saw that HD associate’s posts here or in another sub.) She loved that idea, and is going to look into doing it at my local store. She said sh... Instacart is charging different prices to different customers and uses AI to determine them (research)18h agoOn a Thursday in early September, more than 40 strangers logged in to Instacart, the grocery-shopping app, to buy eggs and test a hypothesis. Connected by videoconference, they simultaneously selected the same store — a Safeway in Washington, D.C. — and the same brand of eggs. They all chose pickup rather than delivery. The only difference was the price they were offered: $3.99 for a couple of lucky shoppers. $4.59 or $4.69 for others. And a few saw a price of $4.79 — 20 percent more than some others, for the exact same product. The shoppers were volunteers, participating in a study published on Tuesday and organized by the Groundwork Collaborative, a progressive policy group... Holiday 2-battery + free tool deal — sold out already? Did this happen in prior years?20h agoI’m a bit confused and hoping someone here remembers — over the holidays there was a deal for a 2-battery pack + free Milwaukee tool for $199, and the promo was supposed to run through February 1. But as of now, every online listing shows it as “sold out,” and I’ve visited multiple stores and can’t find the batteries in stock anywhere. Has anybody here seen this situation before (in past years with Milwaukee or Home Depot)? Does the deal tend to get fully sold out early even when the end date is farther out — or do they ever restock/resume availability once the promo window is still open? I’m leaning toward thinking that HD wouldn’t just let the deal disappear halfway... Pavers physical store21h agoIs there a physical place that I can stop by and purchase a few large to extra large pavers? Preferably near Merritt Island. Not really looking Home Depot not sure if Ace would have what I’m looking for Deicer recommendeds21h agoLooking for recommendations on a deicer for my chicken water. I use a 5gal home Depot bucket with the silver nipples to peck at. I will also NEED to run an extension cord out to the coop to run this. Would a 14g outdoor extension cord work? Or should I get a 12g? Any and all opinions and comments, related to this, are welcome.
