Hi- We ordered two exterior doors and had them installed back in February. We ordered the doors and had Home Depot contractors install them- not Pros- but contractors that have a contract thru the Home Depot. I'll try to make this brief, but they did sloppy work. I immediately complained to the Home Depot the day following the install. We had a problem with one of the doors not closing correctly, the brick mold trim was cut too short and there was bad caulking. The Home Depot manager recommended that the installer come back and redo the work- I didn't want the previous installer as he had me look at his work and I noticed that the trim was short and he assured me it was correct...

Was talking to an engineer about this yesterday and he said look at who your master is. So I looked up tool company owners. Do reporting to stakeholders have anything to do with it? Does Milwaukee tools grenading internals and difficulty being repaired have anything to do with it? Wouldn’t these tool stores want the best FUEL RED MILWAUKEE POWER for their customers? I used to work at Home Depot and guys would always complain how their is no Milwaukee tools for rental. I always thought it was weird? Can anyone help? Trying to be a good consumer and figured this community is the best.

I’ve watched a half a dozen videos and searched online as much as google could help me and I haven’t found anything about pulling the cylinder on this lock. There’s no release pin or tab I can find, it looks nothing like any video I can find. The only thing my caveman brain and eyes see is to bend the 4 thick tabs that are probably holding everything together, but even for Chinese knockoffs I would think there’s got to be an easier way than completely disassembling the thing. Maybe a long stick down the square tube to hit a release? Or should I have just got a cheap one from Home Depot for a few bucks more where I could actually re-pin it? Hey everyone, I recently converted my kitchen fluorescent lights to LED by doing a ballast bypass (direct wire). Everything went well, but I accidentally cracked the plastic light cover while removing it. It looks like a flat diffuser panel from a wraparound ceiling fixture. I’m trying to find a replacement but not sure what the exact name is or where the best place to buy one would be. Do stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s carry these in different sizes, or do I need to buy a sheet and cut it myself? Also, is there a better material that won’t crack as easily next time? Appreciate any advice.

We have weeks behind beauty items, grocery etc on uboats filled to the brim and flats stacked with boxes. It’s to the point that we have to look at 8 boats and flats just for a grocery or make up. I asked if we could ever get possible help from other stores like Home Depot would do but understandably management didn’t give an answer. I am planning/pricing a backyard sauna build for personal use. I need about 600 sq ft of T&G boards for exterior walls, interior walls, and ceiling, ideally using 1x8 boards but could also do 1x6. I've looked around at local lumber mills and they would be about 50-100% more expensive than buying from the big box stores, plus more for delivery. I know the rule of thumb is to calculate an additional 10% overage for unusable boards, but is that sufficient for buying from a big box?
