so i got hired at home depot on the spot. i honestly was kinda surprised. it was a rather improper interview too, i didnt really get asked the formality questions. which is okay, just took me by surprise a little. i also haven’t had an interview in awhile so im not sure what to expect, i just recently started looking for a new job. I'm in Santa Cruz and notice that most of the bedding plants (mostly annuals) at Home Depot are grown in Morgan Hill. Is there any kind of farm store or outlet there, where I can buy lots more without the Home Depot markup? Thanks!

I know Wal-Mart and Amazon has them for purchase and delivery for tomorrow; just looking to see if I can go buy one today in town somewhere. Wal Mart doesn't have these in their stores, and Home Depot has limited selection for the "pen-sized" soldering iron I'm looking to get. Maybe Hobby Lobby or Michaels or Lowes?

It's my first time getting into building out a drip irrigation system for my food garden. Is there a local place in town that sells drip lines and joints for such a project? My go-to place was Downtown Home and Garden, but after their closure I'm interested to find another garden store that's not a big box like Home Depot.

Finally have an update on my 83" OLED hunt ! I was originally set on a $1,574 "Good" condition unit. I went in to check it out and the panel was surprisingly clean, but it had 3,855 hours on it (basically a year of being blasted on Vivid mode). In my search for new faucets, I found that big box store brands such as Delta, Pfizer, Moen, Kohler and such are not the same quality as the brand I purchased at a Plumbing and Appliance store.
