This information isn't provided on their websites or by the pipe manufacturers. Thanks in advance! Well, there’s no doubt pay has dropped, that’s for sure.4h agoWhat's a good spot for wood fasteners?4h agoSpecifically, I'm looking for some 2" (or so) dowel screws like in this image. I can't seem to find any definitive information on any place's website on whether they'd have this in store. Home Depot/Lowe's mostly say they can be ordered and delivered to the store within a week etc. but really hoping to find one by tomorrow. Figured I'd ask here before calling a million places :) https://preview.redd.it/wmcktq7y22og1.png?width=429&format=png&auto=webp&s=066d2deaa870003d67ef444d6a39a6e200823bba GL-01 Arrived!5h agoOrdered December 23rd, just arrived today They fit pretty well on me, tho there was a tiny bit of space between my fingers and the ends of the gloves (mainly my thumb, index, and pinky) so if you have skinny fingers like me that’s something to keep in mind. I also like the rubber grip design on the palm part of the glove, I think it looks cool Overall the gloves are just ok, I don’t have any gloves from Walmart, Home Depot, or any hardware store to compare but I wouldn’t be surprised if they feel pretty identical to those Best Buy featured in "America’s 20 Largest Low-Wage Employers and the Affordability Crisis" report, Best Buy...5h agoLink: [https://ips-dc.org/report-americas-20-largest-low-wage-employers-and-the-affordability-crisis/](https://ips-dc.org/report-americas-20-largest-low-wage-employers-and-the-affordability-crisis/) Best Buy is featured in the Institute for Policy Studies' (IPS-DC) report on the 20 largest low-wage employers in the United States in the context of the affordability crisis. Skyshalo Rachet Pipe Threader Kit for $50??5h agoIs this for real? I've got a job coming up where I need to install maybe 80 ft of rigid, and then won't need to again for who knows how long. The comparable tool made by Rigid is $600. Any of y'all ever used one of these? Is it total junk I'll pull my hair out over, or is it good enough for a single small job? plan to build closet shelves7h agoHi all, I am a homeowner and want to do a solo project (without the help of my dad!) but am not 100% confident my plan is correct. I am wanting to install 3 shelves in a weird, top of stairs closet area I have (see pic). The space now is obviously poorly utilized, and adding 3 large shelves would help to make better use of space for storing off season clothes, hiking backpacks, AC unit, etc. Plan so far: find studs, drill in 1x2’s along the side and back walls, lay 3/4” plywood on top. Maybe secure the plywood, into 1x2? And maybe “trim” out front of plywood with 1x2 so it looks better. I want this to be cheap and straightforward since this is just extra storage. Dimensions: 5... I'm going to break it down: \- Autopay: I have autopay set on every single card. Knock on wood, no issues and I've been using autopay for 3+ years \- Transaction alerts: I have all of my credit cards set to email me when a transaction is charged to any card. The only issue is that the US Bank cards have a $100+ thresh hold before it will send an alert \- When I get the monthly email that a statement is ready, I log in and download the statement and cash out any cash back rewards that are available at that time ... Lease ending, questions about the first step.17h agoMy apartment lease is up soon, and I need to stay in the city for work until the fall. I'm considering living in my compact hatchback for these months to save money. I need to remove front passenger seat and rear seats to fit in. I've tried removing them myself with tools but couldn't get the bolts. Thinking of taking it to a car repair shop to have them remove the seats. After the removal, build a simple flat platform: plywood base + some carpet on top for comfort and to level everything. If I bring measurements, will Home Depot cut plywood sheets to the sizes? is it precise enough for a car floor, or limited to big cuts only? What to do with the removed seats and possibly... Anybody else's store SOOO broken its actually so pathetic?18h agoThis whole place...everything is breaking or already IS broken. I've been at home depot for almost 2 years and even when I first started working there, everything was really bad. The bag holders are breaking/already broken, the card readers and the self checkouts are constantly on and off along with the heaters, if we PLUG IN A SPACE HEATER AT THE PRO DESK, the printers and lights stop working. Is this anybody else? Looking for advice and suggestions for a basement bar using unfinished cabinets and staining.18h agoHello! My husband and I purchased a 10 year old home with an unfinished basement. We are adding an 8ft dry bar and 8ft peninsula island. Obviously many things are expensive when it comes to finishing a basement and we are trying to save where we can as we are not financing any part of this project. If this was a kitchen I would want better quality, but because it’s a bar that may get used here and there I’d like to DIY and spend extra other things that are more important to us and we could upgrade this down the road. With that said I was looking at the Hampton Bay Avondale unfinished cabinets. Specifically these have the trash pull out which is a non negotiable and a 30” drawer cabin... Does he like me?19h agoSo I 15F have liked this 16M since about August of 2025. I met him through marching band but my family and his have known each other for the past 3 years. (Since my crush was a freshman) My brother has known him since he was a freshman and my brother was a sophomore. Throughout the entire marching band season there has been a running joke that this guy can only pull freshman girls, even though he doesn’t actively look for them or any girl for that fact of the matter. He’s always been super sweet and kind to me partially because he knows my mom and partially because he’s afraid of my brother who was the drum major. (for those who don’t know it’s the guy who conducts the marching ban... The Story of my Pony tails22h agoTwo weeks ago I was walking into a Home Depot early Saturday morning just planning to get some dirt and amendments for my tomatoe plants. As I was walking past the cash registers, I noticed a middle-aged white woman and her husband and she had two of these plants in her cart and her husband was carrying a third. Thought to myself “interesting looking plant” as I walked past them. As I kept walking, I noticed something somebody had pulled some trees out into the middle of the aisle, semi blocking it. As I got closer. I realize some of these plants were the same ones as that lady was carrying. ‘Uhhh” I said. I wondered; “if they were related to that elephant foot plant” I grabbed o...
