Are there any stores in Thunder Bay other than Home Depot where one can purchase tubs, tiles, etc for DIY bathroom renovations? Every place I could find on google only seems to be for plumbing contractors so I'm not sure if I can purchase supplies directly from them for doing the work myself. I'd rather not purchase things online because I like to see and feel what I'm buying first, and Home Depot doesn't have much variety available for browsing in-store Thanks!

I do some amateur woodworking back home in California. I would like to bring back a small amount of hardwood that is native to Vietnam so I can make some souvenirs of my time in this beautiful country. Does anyone have any pointers for me? I'm really only looking for a small amount of hardwood for making little things like pens on my lathe. So, not really looking for major lumber distributors. Back in California, I can go to Home Depot to buy oak, walnut, Japanese maple, cherry, and a couple other species. Is there a similar kind of home improvement store in Vietnam that I should look for? I saw a cat walking around the local Home Depot and thought a feral cat wandered in. Nope, he's friendly and clearly domesticated. I asked an employee if they knew that had a cat wandering around. His name is "Homer" and he's a working cat and has been there for years. That's awesome! I'll be shopping at that particular store more often!

I found this cat on 12/27 in the plant section of the Home Depot off Jefferson. They said she had been in the store for a week and asked if I could take her. She is not microchipped. I've been looking into getting employed and moving out into a roommate-type situation within the next 12-16 months. I went to browse the plants as I always do while my husband looks for stuff I don’t care about. Y’all…. Home Depot has to have the absolute worst quality of plants I have ever seen. They were like 80% dead. Brown and crusty and drier than the desert. Weird stuff planted together too. We did a home renovation project through Home Depot and financed it (about $30k). During the sales process, we were told that if anything was damaged or done incorrectly, it would be fixed. Unfortunately, the workmanship was poor and there was damage caused during the install. We documented everything and escalated to the manager in charge of installed services. Hello there, So, I came back home from a trip and the lock cylinder was broken (maybe a cold snap, attempt entering?, who knows!) of my front door. I went to home depot and other local hardware store and they do not carry that specific type of lock. I wanted to buy just the cylinder but it seems improbable that I can find that alone, so fine, I'll get a new lock system, but I don't know how to call it. It seems to be a hybrid between a deadlock and a normal door knob, as it is not permanent. We live on a second floor and use a buzzer to let people in, as you can see in the pics and video attached.
