The big box stores seem to just sell non standard planting trays and such. Neither Lowe's or home Depot has standard 1020 trays/domes/cells. Bonus points if they have a nursery and/or hydroponic stuff. Was thinking of checking out warren family garden center if anyone knows what it's like.

I bought a lock that was giving me trouble. I called support and they couldn’t figure out how to solve the problem so they sent me a replacement lock. I then figured out how to fix the problem and I don’t need a duplicate. Plus they sent me the wrong color anyway. I tried to return the product to Home Depot for a store credit (again it’s unopened and sealed). That didn’t work because the sku didn’t match the system. There isn’t the usual UPC code on it. There’s a sticker with a upc instead. I tried selling on FBMP and that didn’t work either because no one wants a smart lock I guess? Anyway how can I get rid of this thing? I wish DoorDash had a weight limit. For example, I can carry a 45 pound bag of dog food. But today I got sent to Home Depot and when I arrived, found that the customers order weighed 300 pounds. That is not a typo. According to the clerk, several dashes had arrived, seen it, and then withdrew from the order. It’s not just that I wouldn’t be able to manage it physically, but it wouldn’t fit in my car. It would be nice if there was some way to explain this before people drove all the way to the store.

I got a small fig tree in a 5 gallon pot for free at Home Depot. The store was going to throw it away because the previous owner returned it and said it wasn't growing any leaves. I asked an employee if I can take it home, and after asking the manager, they let me have it. The soil is extremely dense as the tree is root bound. I want to transplant it into a 30 gallon and after a year or two plant it into the ground. The fig tree is obviously in distress. The other night I had a dream that has really stuck with me. Hi guys, I want to reno my stairs that lead down to the basement. As you can tell in the pics, the nosing of some of the treads are really beat up. Would I be able to use something like the Cap A Tread (final pic) from home depot? Some other tread kits require you to cut the nosing off the existing treads, but this Cap A Tread kit doesn’t; however, given how rough some of my nosings are I worry that there would be creaking or issues if I use this and don’t cut the existing nosings off. Any recommendations or thoughts?

My cordless drill died this morning while working on our fence. Home Depot website said their store two miles away had plenty in stock. Got in the truck & headed over. Ok, I’m fairly fairly new to gardening, do not know much about plants, but now starting to learn more about soil types and what cold stratification is, Was just trying to do an experiment with a few strawberries from the grocery store to see if they sprout under my grow light at home in seed starting mix from Home Depot, 1 strawberry seed already sprouted somehow, and is starting to grow a little tiny crown at the middle now, that got me super excited, Went ahead and bought crimson sweet watermelon seeds and planted 4 of them in soil, and put another 6 in the paper towel method and put it inside my desk, and out of all those crimson sweet watermelon seeds that sprouted? Why do big box stores like Home Depot, Lowe’s Menards, ACE Hardware, etc. not have in-store inventory of lawn leveling rakes? Sure you can purchase them online from them, but you can’t drive to a big box store, that I’ve seen at least, and walk out with a lawn leveling rake. Yes, lawn leveling rakes are a niche/specialty tool, but so are some other tools that they sell in-store.

I understand that Sprouts in Port Charlotte, FL is in a budget and in lots of it's stores around the US. I worked fives years as a Lot Associate for Home Depot and spent almost a year working as a Cart Attendant for Walmart Neighborhood Market and NEVER did a rotten budget like this.

Around 4 months ago, me and a buddy got interested in doing penny deals at Home Depot. We bought the penny items and sold it online with an increased price to get some money, and for some background, I am sixteen, and was sixteen at the time of this encounter. I’m struggling to find an effective way to store and organize all of my cables. It’s gotten to the point where they’ve completely filled a Home Depot bucket, which obviously isn’t the most practical system.
