So, long story made short, I'm someone in my early thirties who has a bachelor's degree from SDSU in film studies. I’m going to moving to Alaska, the area that receives heavy rain. To ship my car or buy a car is going to cost $5000 +. I would like to know what’s the best e-bikes to commute in the rain. It doesn’t rain all the time there, but 70% time will have light-heavy rain. Before anyone says just to get a car, I’m moving to an island that only has 2 miles of road. Theres no point investing in a car to have there when there’s only so much road to go on. My Wife and I bought a house a year or so ago, and the cabinets need a little work. A few of them have some damage, and I've been trying to find cabinets that match the style, with no luck. I cant find the style to match at home depot, lowes, or any local cabinets store. I may not be searching the right terms, anyone happen to know the name of this style of cabinets doors? The house was built in the late 70's. I'm not sure if they were updated since. Any help is appreciated.

Picked up a HD gig - $75.99 for picking up 2x floating shelves (18lbs each) that can get picked up in a sedan. The app says 42 miles but the route I took was 10 miles less and slightly (by a few minutes) took more time. Best gig I got offered in a while. Honestly didn’t think I was going to get picked! 15 years ago we added a bathroom on to our house. We wanted to do it right so we went to a high end Bathroom design store. We bought Hansgrohe fixtures for the shower and vanity sink. I asked when we bought it if the plastic shower wand hose would last and told, "absolutely". It failed within 6 months and they charged me for a metal replacement. Within a short time we realized we were getting scalded by the shower when the toilet was flushed. I went back to the store and they gave me a new "balanced valve". Does anyone recommend a good local granite or quartz countertop retailer and installer? Ideally we are looking for a place to that both sells the product and has their own installers. I've read that some stores like Home Depot or Lowes subcontracts the installation work to installers and people have had variable quality with their installation. Or is this generally not a problem? Thanks!

Recently bought an apartment and would like to create a ten foot bookshelf wall in the second bedroom. Tried ikea and it looked bad, Home Depot’s service ****** and Container Store told me it would be 6k plus a contractor (which would cost an additional $2k). Does anyone know a good carpenter who can build it for around $5k?
