Latest Comments & Reviews & Feedback & Social Media Sharing of the The Home Depot Latest Community Discussions About The Home DepotLarger storage bin for Creative Options thread organizers1h agoHi all, I store my Hot Wheels in [Creative Options thread organizers](https://www.michaels.com/product/creative-options-clear-thread-organizer-D563165S) that I've seen mentioned here a few times. I currently have 11 organizers. I'm looking for a larger storage bin that would be able to snugly fit 11-12 of these organizers without leaving a bunch of extra space that could cause them to tip over. * If I place them in a 4 by 3 grid, the arrangement comes out to around 31 L x 14 W x 15 H inches. * If I place them in a 5 by 2 grid, it's around 24 L x 17 W x 15 H inches with one sideways. * Alternatively, a 6 by 1 grid would be 20 L x 11 W x 15 H inches if I split the collection a... recommendations2h agoI installed govees on this house but i need to get on top of this steep pitch any thing home depot or lowes sells in stores i can pick up today?? Please be specific if you’re asking where something is3h agoSo not that long ago before I went on my break, a guy asked me where he could find some salt. Keep in mind, this a a grocery store, so we “specialize” with food, though we do have some other things like napkins, toilet paper, pots and pans, etc. the interaction went like this: “Excuse me, could you tell me what aisle the salt is in?” “Oh yeah sure, it’s in aisle 5 on the left, all the way down on the bottom shelf.” “Alright, thanks.” And then he goes down aisle 5, no fuss, no problem, nothing. But then like 2 minutes later, “Hey, you’re wrong, there’s no salt in aisle 5.” “Uh… no, I know for a fact that we have our salt in aisle 5. It’s with all the spic... Anyone else use capital one shopping app to save for Home Depot gift cards?4h agoI use this app for pretty much any online purchase I can. It’s called capital one shopping, and you don’t need their credit card to use it. When making purchases, you would do it through there app, and get a percentage back that you can redeem gift cards with. In the app it will give you links to the stores with a % back, but I actually get way better deals sent to my email. Before I buy something, I would usually go view the item or store I want to buy from, and when on the internet, they somehow track that and will eventually send you deals to your email. Sketchy but same concept as getting personalized ads on Facebook lol. You basically click the link, and purchase the items you w... Small find4h agoI was walking back from the store and I decided to check a dumpster behind a nail salon. I scored a $45 flower pot that I actually need to repot my house plant https://preview.redd.it/qd575uftkg5g1.jpg?width=1647&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=06fd9d17c66bd9c13de934bb470143f81c11ede5 Seeking Advice in Purchasing SD from Reputable Brands5h agoHello, I hope everyone is doing well! Currently, I'm looking to purchase a standing desk for my room (47.2"W x 23.6"D / 47.3"W x 23.7"D / 40"W x 23.7"D / 42'W x 24"D). As of now, I'd prefer to not spend **no more than $650**. I've heard high praise from *UPLIFT*, *Flexispot*. What about Vari or Vivo? I've been wondering since I have Amazon Prime if I should purchase one of these brands through Amazon Prime, or another third party called wayfair? If it's also recommended, should I go to home depot, staples or just stick to purchasing through the official stores? Kids in shopping carts5h agoI work in a grocery store, I’ve been in retail for over 20 years. I’m so sick of parents putting their kids in/on any part of a shopping cart that isn’t the designated seat. I’ve seen fingers be run over and broken by parents letting their kid lay “super man style” on the bottom rack. I saw a cart tip over onto a kid and break her femur when she was allowed to stand on the end. I’ve seen more than one child fall out of the cart and crack their head open because parents don’t care if their kid stands in the cart. At Home Depot, kids fall off the lumber carts all the time because parents think it’s ok to let their kid treat these carts like a jungle gym. They let their kids u... Most effective way to communicate a boycott to the company being boycotted?6h agoLike many of you, my list of companies I’m boycotting is growing by the week. While I’m all for “voting with my wallet,” sometimes I worry that my boycotting falls on deaf ears and it’s too passive in its approach. By this I mean, if I decide to stop patronizing a store or service that I used to patronize, based on a political ideology (e.g. Home Depot being complicit in ICE raids), how does that company ultimately learn/realize that I’m not using their services because I actively disagree with their political ideology instead of simply “not needing their services at this time?” What is the most effective way to let a company know you’re ACTIVELY boycotting them inste... It's that time of year again7h agoHopefully your shows are either running, or about to start. Hours and days and blisters and endless trips to the local hardware store to get our shows up and running. None of it would be possible without the software that actually makes the blinkies go blinky (hopefully) the way they are supposed to. Please consider donating to the developers of the free tools that you use to help and thank them for their tireless work all year round that allow us to put that holiday sparkle in a young child's eye and make their parents ask what kit we bought from Home Depot. Should I leave it?8h agoIm just at home depot looking at plants and this plant has this on the under side of the leaf. Vigora ficus. I dont water or feed or give sunlight or know the soil type as its currently at the store but I want to take it home lol. What is on this plant? Dude seriously???8h agoI placed a pickup order for 6 of the 27 gallon totes that were on the Black Friday special and some other items. For some reason, the app split my order into half curbside and half in store pickup. I had to go into the store to make a return anyway so l figured it'd be easy to just grab everything. So eventually I figure out I need to use the app to check in to let them know I'm there. The dude just grabs the totes and drops them on the floor and kicks them over to me. So I start to lift the lid to see if everything else is inside and he snaps "It's in there." And I'm like ok, but it split my order into half curbside half in store. He says Well you need to che... How to save this orchid?8h agoHi everyone, I bought this orchid for our 1st anniversary with my ex-girlfriend. We are not together anymore but I still miss her and would like to see this orchid blooming. (we broke up due to long distance). I looked at some YT videos on how to save orchid and already cut out all dead roots but the root keeps dying and becoming black. Is there a way to save this orchid? Should I completely remove the root? The 2 big leaves seem to be okay but the small leaves start to have died. I'm currently storing my orchid with a moss I bought from Home Depot and spraying a little bit of water every 3 days. I see some videos completely removing the root from the pot and reversing the orchid the... Closet Storage & Cooling Ideas / Tips9h agoWhat tips and advice do people have for using a closet for a home lab. I recently purchased a beast of a system that is going to output a lot more heat. One of my two bedroom closests has dimensions, HxWxD of (106" x 68" x 23") is kind of where I want to put it. I have some concerns about heating since in theory I would guess I could be drawing around 1100 W (I don't have a good idea yet because I haven't actually started loading it yet because I'm worried about heat. I was leaning towards getting another closet door from Home Depot, cutting out some holes for 12V fans, and then having an intake fan at the bottom, and output fan at the top. My biggest concern...
